Otium frowned a little.
"I'm Otium. Otium Nocte, and for once I'm not afraid to mention that I'm the Goddess of the Sky and the Stars." she introduced herself after a moment. She briefly closed her eyes, telepathically contacting Horus. They sent her a warning. A one word warning...RUNE.
"Rune, I assume?" she asked, almost gently. She blinked her brown eyes and glanced at Lealhani. "And...a perfect world without mortals?" She paused, and thought.
"So that's what this is all about." she muttered. She had no attachment to the humans the way her parents had. But could she let such a thing happen. Maybe, maybe not...she was silent.

Mirikka hopped out of her tree and landed gently on the ground. She then walked into town, hoping not to draw to much attention to herself. She hated being stared at. Did people really not know that she could see them, sometimes being Aphrodite's daughter could be helpful and other times just annoying.

Mirikka looked at the girl who was a crying mess "um hi" she said not know what to say "whats wrong?" she asked looking down at her. She then looked around great I didn't want any extra attention and then I get this I hope no one notices she thought looking back at the girl wondering what was wrong

Rune looked at Otium. Goddes of the Sky and Stars. She was beautiful. Rune shook his head. Where had that thought come from? He grinned. "Smart girl. You must be Otium." He glanced at Lealhani. "Don't you want a perfect world. You know what I went through. No one wanted to be with a child of evil and a child of chaos."

Otium felt a spark of emotion...that emotion was pity. She found herself feeling sorry for Rune; it must have been terrible, growing up being shunned by almost everyone. A shooting star streaked across the sky, in broad daylight, indicating Otium's thoughts. She blinked and shook her head as if to clear it.
"Sorry about that...my thoughts can escape me sometimes." she apologised, politely. |

Otium's eyes widened in surprise at what Rune had just said, and from the fact that he had suddenly changed to a different form, which Otium guessed to be his original form. But...he wanted her to join him?
"You...want me to join you in creating a world without mortals?" Otium eventually asked, when she found her voice. She paused to think for a second; her mother was the goddess of truth, justice and harmony. Could Otium really join Rune?
"Mortals...might get in the way..." Otium whispered. Then she realised what she had said, shook her head. "Oh goodness, I didn't mean to say that out loud..." Her mind was still going through all the ideas in her head.

Rune's eyes glitsened. "I knew you would see my way." This feeling was unusual. Perhaps..... Joy? He finally had someone who accepted him. He took her hand and led her toward his recently opened portal. "Come. Or you can think about it."

Otium had fallen silent. She knew her parents would probably disapprove, but Rune had a much misunderstood past...maybe she could help him?
"Alright...I'll come with you." she eventually said. She looked up at the sky. HER sky. The sky she ruled over and guarded. Her pride and joy. A few more stars streaked across and the light trailed behind them like fireworks. In the day time. It must have looked odd, but Otium rather liked it.

Rune's face hurt from grinning. He led Otium into the portal. They appeared in a Mexican restaurant. Rune hadn't expected her to accept, so he had the portal set to his favorite place for lunch. "Would you like some food?" |

Otium travelled through the portal in silence. When they reached their destination, Otium was pleasantly surprised; she hadn't known where they were headed and found this place to be rather pleasant.
"Some food might be nice." Otium admitted. "I am a bit hungry."
