Mayla purred lightly, as she slept quietly in the Den. She had dreamt of running around with her beloved Jagged, when the dream went bad and she awoke feverishly and roared aloud. She panted and arose from her slumber, stretching and yawning loudly. she let out a grunt and walked out onto the ledge overlooking the territory that she owned. She let the sun soak into her coat as she licked her paws clean. She looked down at her stomach, which bulged quite big now from the cub she was carrying.

Jagged blinked once, his ears swiveling back as he heard loud roar. He turned his head to see Mayla Walking over to sit a bit far off from him on the same ledge. His ears perked up as he silently and intently watched as she peered over the land just as he had, and he couldn't help but flick his ear, and twitch his whiskers with amusment.

Ronja stood up suddenly from her sleep, startled awake by an uncomfortable roar from one of the other lions. She turned her head, trying to see through the dark of the den she was deeply hiding. It was her favorite spot to stay the night, in the very far corner of the cave like dens they slept. She didn't know why, maybe the dark just comfroted her when she needed to sleep.

Seri stood outside the great den.  She overlooked the territory from a tall outcrop... her dangerous eyes scanning the fields below... the buffalo roaming freely, unaware of her watching.  Her muscles were stiff as the light breeze blew through her dark pelt... the sunlight flickering onto her coat as the sun appeared over the horizon.

Into the shadows went Rel. His pelt turned a black color and his eyesbecome holes of darkness. He moved freely in the shadows, hiding until he leaped out at a random lion. He smiled as he bowled her over and then frowned. "Oh..." He said, glancing at the buffalo she was going to catch. "I*m sorry." Rel melted back with the shadows and moved towards the buffalo and then leaped, draging one down with him....

OoC: The prince and princess are Jagged and Mayla's cubs aren't they? Just want to make sure.

BiC: Having woke earlier then most that morning, Raze sat at the edge of a small stream that ran along the outcrop of their dens and farther into the territory. His brown eyes watched his frittering reflection in the water, trying to some how hide the unease that was so visible in the orbs. He had felt this way, jumpy and at disease, for months now, ever since he had communicated with a departed soul. The baby gazelle had come to him and asked why he was taken from his mother, though Raze had no idea how he understood the prey animal. It was only after he saw that it was glowing and it's edges were sketchy did the prince realize what he was looking at was that mornings breakfast. He did not think he'd ever run so fast in his life. Kalima had been amazing of course, that he could see the dead beast, and said that his newly acquired powers were cool. Yeah, if talking to who you just ate was cool.

He growled lowly, tail swishing in annoyance. His stomach growled viciously but he ignored it, not willing to hunt himself at that moment and risk being gazed at by his foods soul while he ate it. The thought sent shivers down his spine. He had thought to ask his father about all of this, but did not want to be a disgrace to Jagged, the powerful king who held everyone's respect. Then again he was probably nowhere near the son the king had wanted and ashamed him every day by living in the pride. He was not strong nor fierce, but instead quiet and slightly cowardly. Lips curling back in a sight sneer he plopped down at the waters edge and dipped his paws into the refreshing water.

Yawning widely, Kalima closed her eyes tighter to block out the morning sun that came rushing into the den. She wanted a bit more sleep before the activities of the day started. Almost lulled back into slumber, a roar sent her skidding to her paws, green eyes flashing in worry. She knew that roar, Mayla, and worry made the young lioness's heart thundering in her chest. She was not a experienced healer, the way her now deceased mother was, but she was good enough to ease aches and perhaps heal small wounds. And knowing that the queen was in cub yet again put Kalima at more of a dis-ease. Padding from the den, Kalima searched around from Mayla, spotting her sitting beside her mate. Sighing, glad that nothing was terribly wrong, Kalima walked a bit slower to where the two were sitting, not sure if she should interrupt. "Excuse me." She mused lightly, eyes sparkling. "But are you alright Mayla, I heard you roar?"

 Seri's tail flicked as the sound of the awakening pride rolled into her ears. The sweet aroma of the prey filled her nostrils, causing a wicked gleam to appear in her eye.  She looked back upon the den, debating whether to join the pride or get a head start in her morning survellance.  She was a rather good hunter.  Her speed deffinatly giving her a plus during the hunts.  She wasnt afraid to fight, and could defeat many of her foes.  She must of gotton her greatness from her father and mother's fine genes.  She smiled at the thought and made her way into the den, relaxing on her stone.

Jagged watched slowly as the queen made her way back to the dens they slept in, and once her tail had dissapeared into the shadows, he turned his head to Kalima, and blinked warmly at the young lioness. For a moment he was a little wary as to the healers concern for Mayla sudden roar, and he glanced in the direction she'd dissapeared again, almost worried in thinking he wasn't being concerened enough for her well-being. "She's close to having her cubs, isn't she?" He asked out of the blue, feeling like he should know this already.

Ronja stretched her legs tiredly and padded out of her nest just in time to see Mayla headed back to her own. She wondered if it'd be nice to call out to the queen, but decided against it as she saw how tired Mayla looked. At that she turned her head to glanced around, her ears stretching out behind her head. Unsure of what she wanted to do, she bagan to go for a short walk, p*censored*ing Seri on the way, and she swished her tail as if to say hello to the young princess.

Dakota's jaws stretched out into a large yawn as he sat on his stomach on the riverbed, unaware he was inside the special prides borders. He lapped at the cool water slowly, letting cool his whole body as he lay in the long gr*censored* in the bright sun. Being as bored as he was, he started forming small fires in the air, and watching as the fell into the water, fizzeling loudly as the water drowned out the tiny flames. His ears perked up and he turned his head as a faint roar reached his ears, and he he raised his head curiously.
