Zack narrowed his eyes. She was doing her own thing. Even if it was a slight slip-up, if it was immediately noticeable to the others, he would correct it. He grabbed her by her wrist again and repeated his earlier motion, jerking her so their faces were only an inch apart. "Unless I tell you otherwise," he growled, "you speak in English. Understand?"

Zack snarled again. He would not take this kind of insubordination. He quickly took a step back and back-handed her across the face. It may seem like a glitch to some, but he knew damn well that she was doing it on purpose. "Let's try that again," he growled, trying to stay calm. "You are only to speak in English unless I say otherwise. Not French, Not Japanese. English." Koen was starting to get nervous, and it was becoming increasingly hard to hide his emotions from Zack. He was trying to keep himself calm, but he was sure that if Zack's anger decreased for a second, he would notice and turn on Koen. |

Ace yelped when Zack's hand made contact with her face."yes...," she stuttered in english.Resistance wasn't about to give up...but for now it went into slumber mode until it was time...Comply was still active and took up control of Ace.

Zack smirked. At least now they were getting somewhere. Pain was one of the easiest ways to control a slave. It was like training an animal. They didn't want to be hurt. "Good," he said, he turned around to face Koen, startling him. It took all of Koen's will power not to cringe. "Koen, come." He said. Koen complied walking up to stand in front of Ace, not a centimeter off of where Zack wanted him to be. "Now, Koen, greet your newest family member." Koen did just that he held out his hand for Ace to shake and said, "Hello, nice to meet you." Zack nodded and then looked at Ace. "Now you say hello as well."

Ace did as she was told and waited for further instruction...She hid the pain in her eyes extremely well,and unless you could look into pupils and read those then you wouldn't be able to know who the true Ace Cardvess was. Onyx and the others went back to what they were doing.It appeared she'd been corrected.

Zack looked around the room. Everyone had apparently decided that Ace was fixed. Good. He didn't need any crazy slave ruining his reputation. Still, it might be better to quit while he was ahead. At least for now. "That's all for now," he said, "Stick with Koen or one of the other's and I'll find you later." He turned to Koen, "Keep an eye on her, any insubordination will be reported to me. Understand?" Koen nodded. "Yessir." he said.

(( lol, ok seriously, its Koen not Keon XD )) Koen smiled at Ash. "Hi," he said before returning his attention back to Ace. "You alright?" he asked. For a slave, his vocabulary was a bit off and he tended to show emotion occasionally, but since he was perfect in every other way, Zack wrote off the flaws as harmless glitches. |
