Jay glanced at the floor. "Now, darling, can you tell me what's so great about the floor? I really don't see anything that sparks my interest." As he glanced up his eyes sparkled as he thought of a perfect idea that would really make her scared. In only a matter of seconds he's grabbed Meridith and had slung her over his shoulder. "Would you like to see our," he emphasized the word our, "room?" |

Meridith squeezed her eyes shut as he continued talking. Perhaps this was all just a dream and when she opened her eyes, Jay would be gone. Instead when she opened her eyes, Jay was throwing her over his shoulder. "W-w-what is this?" She asked. "Put m-me down!" His response sent shivers down her spine. "O-o-our r-r-room?" She managed to get out, while unconsciously grabbing onto the back of his shirt. "N-no!" Meridith cried and she began to kick her legs, trying to make Jay let her go.

Jason walked calmly into the room, his blood red eyes darting back and forth, scanning faces. " I believe I heard someone call my name?" He asked coolly, a smirk across his pale face. Who is it this time? He thought. Let's see what fun I can get out of this girl. Jason turned his head slowly, waiting for someone to step forward.

Zoey stepped toward Jason, her I Really Don't Want To Be Here face painted all over her. She bravely tried to raise her self to his height and growled, "you really don't scare me, you know," she stared at him square in the face. "I've seen scarier." However, inside, she was shaking slightly.
Instead of putting her down, Jay simply held on tighter. He strode quietly up a long stair case until he reached a room 4 doors down. He fumbled through his pocket with his spare hand until he found some keys. He pushed them in and slowly walked into a extravagant room. He set her down gently and said, smiling slightly, "welcome."

Meridith closed her eyes and took deep breaths on the way up, trying to calm herself down. As she was set down, she prepared herself for a small, dark place but it was the total opposite when she opened her eyes. For a moment, she forgot about Jay being there and just absorbed the extravagance of the room. When she turned slightly, she saw him out of the corner of her eye and remembered. "Why am I here?" She asked softly, turning back to the room.

Jay leaned slowly against the wall door entrance. He slightly opened his mouth to show long sparkling white fangs gleaming in his mouth. He licked his teeth with a flash of pink, as if he was contemplating why she was here. He shrugged slowly, "you'll see soon enough." He grinned, making sure he showed each fang.

Something about his voice made Meridith turn around. She wish she didn't. As she saw Jay's fangs, she turned pale white and started to shake. She started to stutter comprehensively, not even knowing what she meant to say. Slowly, she started to back away from Jay.

In a single stride Jay was next to her, his blue eyes glowing in the slightly dim room. He leaned toward Meridith, his mouth only inches from her neck. Slowly he scraped his fangs up her neck, whispering slowly, "don't be afraid..." he grinned as he traveled up to her cheek, "just be...terrified."

"S-s-stop. Pl-please." Meridith was on the verge of tears now. "G-get away from m-me." She wanted to run but he was so close that she was frozen with fear. The fact that his fangs were touching her didn't help matters. Without meaning to, she let out a whimper. "Why me?"

Jay took a step back, tilting his head slowly. "Well, would you rather have another...totally innocent teenager...be killed?" Jay shook his head, knowing she would have a seizure if he said that. "Kidding." He corrected quickly, before Meridith practically died just hearing those words. "But why be so..." He took a short step closer, "selfish?"

She took a sharp intake of breath but let it out when he said he was kidding. But it was true, she would rather it be someone else. "B-because." She said, taking a step back. "I don't w-want to d-die." She blushed slightly, bringing some color back to her previously pale face. He was actually right. She was being selfish.

Jason's smirk remained on his face. " Well, I'm sure I can fix that soon enough." Jason grin turned into a soft smile. " Let me show you to our room." He put his arm around her shoulders and started walking. " I don't believe I got your name." He asked, his voice smooth, relaxed.

Where am I ? What' s going on? She would have time to think of the answers later. You know, if they didn't kill her too soon. Rylee stood up, took the slip of paper from the guy in the center of the room, and peered at the writing.
" Um, Asher?" She called out loudly. Her face showed no emotion, her eyes secretly did. For anyone who knew her well enough, they could tell that the way the amber color in her eyes seemed to shimmer like rolling waves meant that she was terrified.

Zoey struggled slightly under his grasp, but stopped as soon as she realized there was no possible way she was stronger than a vampire. She glanced up at him, her teeth gritted as she growled, "Zoey."
((Wow. That was...fail.))
Jay couldn't help but laugh slightly. "Did you know," he grinned as he said it, "that 99.9 percent of all humans don't want to be killed in the most painful way possible?" Suddenly he remembered something. She probably hadn't eaten in hours. In the nicest way he could possibly say anything, he asked, "you hungry?" |

"Wait. You didn't say...our, did you?" However, she already knew that's exactly what he meant. Then she mentally starting kicking herself. It's my fault anyway, she thought bitterly, I shouldn't have been alone in the middle of a forest. Although she tried to act fearless, her single only thought was questioning herself how Jason would kill her.

" Well, I'm sorry, but you'll just have to deal with it." Jason said in a matter-of-fact tone. When they got to their room, Jason gently pushed Zoey inside. Then he strode over to her and slapped across the face, with force only a vampire could achieve. "And that's for the insult." He stated simply, that same fang-revealing grin still on his face. Well, well, she's going to be fun indeed. He thought.

Zoey glared at him when he told her to "live with it". The only horrible thing I'm living with is you. She thought silently. Once they were in the room, Zoey was very surprised. As she began to examine things, she felt a sudden sting against the side of face. It hurt twenty times more than when her brother slapped her. "Ow!" She screamed. "Why would you-" as soon as the first words were out she realized what she'd done wrong. Lesson 1, she remembered, don't insult a vampire. |
