Jason almost laughed when he saw the shock on Zoey's face. When she spoke up, and then stopped, he raised his eyebrows. " I'm sorry, what was that, dear?" His fangs glittered when he tilted his head to the side.

Zoey simply shrugged. "I was going to say something," then her eyes flickered over to the side, "and I realized what I did. To...deserve it." The last few words came out so quietly they were almost impossible to hear. No, not once in her life that she could remember, Zoey never stood corrected. |

"Chill?" Zoey shivered. What do you do when you chill with a vampire? "With you? Are you sure?" The only thing she wanted to do now was run. With out really considering it, she bolted out the door and down the hall, running like a pack of wolves was after her. What are you thinking? She thought as she ran.

Zoey felt her self screech to a stop. She glanced up at Jason, her face sheepish as she murmured, "the...bathroom?" she ducked away from his gaze, because for the very first time she had the chance to look into his eyes. They were almost as scary as the fact he was a vampire. It was almost like every drop of blood she'd ever seen had been encased in his eyes.

Dang! She thought as they went back to the room. But hey, I was staring at the bathroom right before I left. She could almost hear the laughing now. Heck, she was being dragged by the waist by someone almost 6 inches taller than her. However, to her relief, no one saw her.

Zoey felt the sting again, but harder. And with all her anger built inside her, another instinct she only got when she was angry was to react. And, much to her dismay, she slapped him right back, as hard as she manage. It wasn't, however, very hard. What is wrong with me! She screamed in her mind.
