Sam ground his teeth. He's been around her for two seconds and she's already on his nerves. It was probably a new record.
"Did I ask if you wanted to come or not?" He snapped. "No. Now I'll say it one more time before I drag you." His arm lashed out and grabbed her's in an iron grip. It was a completely unnecessary move at the moment but he was honestly curious if she really though kicking him would do anything. "Let's go." He told her as he fixed his piercing gaze onto Sara, a challenge present in his eyes.

The guards let go when Sam grabbed Sara's arm.
Sara's eyes turned to slits. "I... Am going to kill you!" She bent her arm, attempting to slide out of his grip, but it was useless. She clenched her fists, using her free hand to take a swing at Sam's face.

Eric smiled at Rylee. She seemed like she would be a calm girl.
"Yeah. I called your name. I'm Eric Derouche. Nice to meet you, Rylee." He offered his hand to shake hers, smiling a semi-true smile.

Rylee tilted her head slowly. "You...you didn't answer my question. In fact, you answered neither. But, oh well. Nice to meet you too!" She shook his hand quickly, then realized she had the weird feeling she got about any time she was away from her family. She wanted to hug some body. She didn't really know who, but she had the craving. She shook the thought, and started concentrating on why she was here, and who this person was.

Sam didn't even bother to avoid Sara's swinging arm. After it hit him, he gave a cold smile. "Am I supposed to be hurt by that?" He asked in a soft voice. "Good luck trying to kill me." He gave a snort of laughter, then turned away. His grip on her arm hadn't changed and he began to drag up away from the guards. "Now, be a good little brat and come with me."

Sara winced as he was dragging her. Why had he not been phased by her punch? Was he super-human or something? It scared her. Terrified her, really, but she didn't let it show. Instead she kept on being hard-headed and fought.
"You twit! Let me go!" She managed to get to her feet and tug against the way she was being pulled by Sam. "I'm not going anywhere until you explain what the hell's going on!"

Eric sighed. "I'm sorry. I have a bad habit of avoiding questions." He rubbed his head and looked down at Rylee's feet.
"It's kind of hard to explain what you're doing here, but I can tell you why you were brought here and where we're going." He let out a weak smile, hating how he had to talk so much in this particular instance.
"You were brought here and assigned to me because the prince ordered it to be so. We're going to our room, where you'll be staying with me. I'm a... vampire!" He jumped with his hands in the air and let his fangs slide out, hoping for Rylee to shriek or jump.

Rylee glanced up as he jumped, letting out a slight snort of laughter. "Ah...that was hilarious. You know, you really should work on that. You look like a bear who got stung by a bee." She laughed a little again, realized there seemed to more to his performance when he looked like he was expecting something.

Sam stopped moving although he could have easily kept going. His already short temper was growing shorter by the second. Why couldn't she be normal and fear for her life already?
"You want an explanation? Fine. Let's see how smart you are." He slid his fangs into place and made sure Sara could see them. "Now do you have an idea as to what is going on?"

Sara was surprised when he stopped, expecting him to just pick her up and haul her over his shoulder.
When the fangs came out, Sara simply let out a short laugh and then became even more hysterical. "What is this? Some sort of movie? I won't be a part of it! This isn't funny. Stop the charade!" Her voice was frantic and she was on the verge of tears.
She knew what was going on. They were vampires, and she was lunch. Though she held onto a last sliver of hope that this was a movie or something. A prank show perhaps!

Eric sighed. She didn't see his fangs. He stooped down to Rylee's level, and hissed, his fangs clearly visible now. He had a grip on her arm to make sure that if she made a run for it, she wasn't going anywhere.
"Do I look like a bear now?" He laughed lightly.

Sam let out an annoyed hiss and his fangs slid back up. He was done with her. If she wanted to pretend that everything was alright, he wouldn't interfere.
He once again began to drag her to their room. "Sure. We kidnapped you so you could be in a movie. And now we are on our way to a meeting so you can be as.signed your roll."

Rylee's eyes widened as the fangs became visible. She shrank back and muttered, "no, more like a snake. With rabies." It was the only way to make this less awkward. By making it funny. However, she knew it was going to be hard to make something this weird seem normal. After considering it for a moment, her eyes watered. "Please don't hurt me. I want to go home. I...I don't want to die."

Sara felt the tears start streaming down her cheeks, though she struggled against them. She gave in. She walked behind Sam sadly. She was going to die. Absolutely die.
She gave up on being optimistic. Whatever he was going to do, she knew it wasn't going to be good.

Eric sighed, disappointed with her reaction. He hoped for her to scream or do something more... exciting. Taking pity on her, he patted her head, ruffling her hair, and said, "C'mon, kid. Let's go."
"I won't kill you." He grabbed her arm gently, hoping not to make her even more upset.

Sam glanced back at Sara. He had expected her to make some comment like she was doing earlier but instead she was crying. So she finally broke down. Just like every other girl. He made a sound of disgust and turned around. At least they were at the room already. Opening the door, he threw Sara in before following. "This is the room we share." He said gruffly.

Rylee barely even heard him, she was already too caught up in every thing. Well, she decided, vampires are real. That's new. Then she considered how she would escape. She decided she'd check out the room, then decide how she would get out. She didn't consider how she would sneak it past him, but she knew she could do it. She had too.

Jay let out a final sigh of laughter before walking towards the door. "Well," he said as he turned the knob, "I've gotta go. Later." He gave the sign of salute before walking out the door, forgetting to lock it as he left. He called through the door, "I'll be back tomorrow."

Sara felt herself flinch with every word Sam said. Once he let her go after he threw her in the room, She ran to the farthest corner away from him and dried up her tears, immediately looking for exits. There were no other exits except the door that they came in.
Her breathing still a bit ragged, Sara tried to calm herself down. She didn't need to cry. Crying was showing weakness and fear, and that was the last thing she wanted to show.
Standing up straighter and clenching her fists, Sara looked Sam in the eye. "Why are we here?"

After a moment of deciding on how he would get her to their room, he decided to haul Rylee over his shoulder and start walking up the stairs.
He entered the room and set her down, locking the door. He went over to a desk and sat down in the swivel chair, spinning around a couple times before looking at Rylee. "You okay, kid?"

Rylee shrugged. "Well, considering I was just hauled up the stairs by a vampire, fine. So. What now?" She asked, scanning the room. She sighed when she realized that there was no possible way out except the door. There was the kitchen...kitchens had knives...no. Only as a last resort.

Meridith watched as Jay left and suddenly her legs felt weak. Forcing herself to walk around to the chair, she collapsed into it. She realized she was trembling when she laid her face in her hands. Staring at them, she knew she wouldn't survive this and had to get out somehow. He said he would be back tomorrow and it didn't look like he locked the door. She glanced uncertainly at the door. It could be a trap but on the other hand, it could be her only chance. Suddenly having a spurt of courage, Meridith stood up and walked over to the door. Taking a deep breath, she opened the door.

Sam gave her an icy glare. It seemed like she had found her tongue again. He couldn't decide if he liked her better when she was crying or not. Either way, she was here and he would have to deal with her.
"Why do you think?" He snapped at her. "Obviously I am a vampire and you are a human. You were kidnapped and brought here and now you were as.signed to me. So let me ask you again. Why do you think?"
