-( This is Vapor, Damon's dog. He moves like smoke and can manipulate his molecule like Damon, seeing as how he is also from Uranus. Vapor is the only dog of his kind. Vapor can appear and disappear at will. )-

Kioko rubbed at her blurry eyes as she shifted around in the small seat of the Planet bus.  She twisted one way and then another, trying to get comfortable enough to go back to sleep, even if it would only be for a short while.  The planet bus was moving quickly through space, and it would soon reach the strange planet that she'd been sent to.

She finally gave up trying to get back to sleep and instead absently stared out the window at the stars, pulling her jacket closer around her as she did so.  She never needed the article of clothing on her home planet, but of course everywhere off planet was practically freezing.  So her guardians had thrown all kinds of warm, insulated clothing into her bag before shoving her onto the planet bus and forcing her to go investigate the new planet.

She leaned closer to the window as Planet X came into view from her window.  Were those trees white?  Pretty.  At least the scenery won't be too bad, she thought. 

Damon didn't care about the temperature. His short sleeve black shirt and black Levi's proved it. It was freezing on his home planet, and he could walk around there in the outfit he was in. Cold had no effect on him. Neither did heat. 

He looked out of the window again, seeing the space bus start to land.  One good thing about those born in space, they were unaffected by the zero gravity. Damon found himself sliding through first the seat then bus, dropping lightly onto the white gra.ss of Planet X.

Taylor repositioned her telescope and saw a boy seeming to slide out from under the space bus. She blinked for a moment before she realized this must be the boy from Uranus. Something flung itself at her back and she glanced down at her shoulder. Her lips broke into a smile as Shadowfax flung itself off of her back and landed on her desk. The cat had distinct foxlike features. It had a long, small snout and large, pointed ears. The two most distinct features on the creature were its long, thin demon wings that stretched to a wingspan of four feet. It's tail also had a wickedly curved spike at the tip, almost the same as Taylor's dagger.

Shadowfax rubbed against Taylor's hand before leaping off of the table. He skirted through the gra.ss and strode toward the bus. Taylor gathered a few items from the desk and stuffed them in her pack. She took off at a sprint toward the forest, being sure to stay low to the ground and taking cover in abandoned buildings. She flung herself up into a tree with absolute grace and crouched in a low tree branch. She pulled out a portable telescope and peered through it. Shadowfax had approached the bus and had walked up to the boy.

Damon looked down at the small demon cat, smiling slightly. "Why hello there... What's your name?" He asked it, crouching down to see it better. Damon heard a low howl, turning his head to see his large pet, Vapor, appearing. It looked like a cloud of smoke has blown by, circling one particular area. From the ground up, Vapor appeared, her blueish silver coat rustling.

Vapor walked up to the cat, his nose to the ground. She flitted her eyes up at him, whining under her breath softly. 

Damon, Damon Salvatore. Damon thought back. He learned how to do that when he first found Vapor, before she trusted him enough to talk around him.

Vapor padded over to Shadowfax, her eyes alight at seeing another animal. Hello. She said, bowing her head respectively.

-( Vapor has no gender, just fyi, so no one gets confused when I switch back and forth between 'he' and 'she'. )-

Shadowfax drew away from Damon's mind, content. He stood up as Vapor walked over to him. He cocked his head as Vapor dipped her head respectfully. Shadowfax dipped his head in return and glanced up toward the space bus, awaiting for the others. He wanted to be sure this batch of humans were trustworthy and that they bore Taylor no harm. Damon and Vapor seemed okay enough, but he did not know them well enough to trust them.

Hello. Welcome to Planet X, as most people call it. Shadowfax thought to Vapor. He swished his daggerlike tail, impatient for the others to come. He was definitely not going to reveal Taylor's presence just yet. He swiveled his ear around and caught the sound of Taylor scrambling up a tree. He did not turn his head in that direction and kept his eyes straight, not wanting to give her away. He was puzzled though, as to why she would make so much noise when her plans always require some sort of stealth.

"Oh, your the others, youy took your time getting here." Pheonix rolled her eyes and took a quick breath, but she had finally gotten use to the air after a few boughts of coughing. "I'm Pheonix." The dark hair- silver eyed girl held out her hand to Damon, completely ignoring the demon animal. If she could, she would've brought Poison, but Poison was dangerous and know no bounds, she got hurt easily.

"My friend should be here any moment." She said. Alright, so Gaea, the Earth Child, hadn't known her that long, but they had gone to eachother's planets. Pheonix couldn't stand earth, but Gaea liked Jupiter, so they clicked and started to hang out for the days they got together and then she learned that Gaea was like her and had a special power. Gaea could speak to animals.

The bus from earth dumed Gaea on to the cool ground and she stood up, brushing herself off. She rubbed her pale arms and looked around. She saw Pheonix, another girl, two wierd animals, a boy, and another girl who she didn't know. The girl was unrecognizable and she was guessing that this was the one from Planet X, though she didn't know for sure. Gaea sighed and smoothed down her brown hair.

The area was dark, maybe it was because the sun was too far away too reach here, but maybe not, for the Planet was a nice temperature. It was strange, but she shook it off, knowing that not every planet was like Earth. Gaea's skin, though pale, in the darkness, was giving off an eary glow because of the darkness. She sighed and walked over to the others...

Damon stood up, looking down his nose at the girl. "Hello" He said curtly. He turned his head, seeing the girl from Earth arrive. Ugh, Earth. That dirty, polluted planet.

Vapor gazed at the odd girl in the tree. He could see her, he could see through most things. He decided not to bring it to Damon's attention, the girl deserved her privacy. 

Shadowfax glanced at Vapor who seemed to spot Taylor. He then trusted the being as it did not bring her up. Shadowfax let out a soft sigh, but his fur bristled when another being that seemed to have arrived earlier pointedly ignored Shadowfax. Excuse me, but I do not think that is any way to treat your host. He said, sniffing disdainfully toward the girl. He decided he liked Damon and Vapor better, as they had been polite to him. Another girl hopped off of the space bus and she walked over to them.

Shadowfax opened his mind up, pushing words in all of the kid's minds. We shall wait for all of the other Planet Children to get off of the space bus and I will give you a tour of the planet. That's what your here for, I presume. He said to them.

Damon nodded once. "We were sent to investigate, because the rest of out species are cowards." Vapor smiled, shaking her head at Damon. Is that any way to show your gratitude?

"Gratitude? They sent us here, away from our homes, friends and family, and expect me to be grateful? I don't think so. The government of Uranus will learn nothing of Planet X from me."

Kioko sighed, waiting till all the other children had exited the bus before she stood up and walked out.  She shivered at the unpleasantly cool temperature and pulled her jacket closed.  The air was heavy with the smell of some kind of strange plant and Kioko grimaced at yet another reminder she was far from home.  Looking around, she spotted the group of people and headed over to meet with everyone, careful to make sure her ex
pression was neutral and no one would be able to guess how unhappy she was to be here.

"Hello," she said, eying the strange animal that had approached the bus.  "I'm Kioko Fuurin," she introduced herself.

"Just a few more." Damon replied to the cat. "Hello, Kioko." He greeted. Vapor looked around, sniffing at the strange plants and trees.

Just like home.. He thought.
