Kaze adjusted the sleeves of his black turtle neck as he sat in a seat at the back of the space bus. Dusting off the knees of his dark grey, corduroy jeans he stood up and made sure that his black converse were tied neatly and in good shape. Before he went out he wanted to know that he was looking presentable. If he wasn’t looking well his anxieties would get the best of him. Letting out a heavy sigh, his breath slightly lifted the large curl that rested on his nose between his eyes. Making one last check on his camera that was hanging around his neck, he made his way out of the space bus. The dark environment of planet X immediately inspired him. Adjusting his camera to take in enough light for quality pictures, he knelt down on the ground and snapped away. Standing back up he pushed his gla.sses back onto his nose and reviewed the results of his work. A grin of satisfaction quickly appeared on his face. Using a new feature that had been installed on his camera he sent his favorite photos to his phone. Taking his phone out of his pocket he sent the photos to his blog and made a new entry to show to his followers. He was sure they would all be pleased. He didn’t forget to send the photos to his professors back at college either. He was deeply hoping they would be pleased as well, and that he would be able to send them much more information later on. Ignoring the buzzes his phone gave off as he received comments on his new blog entry, he jogged ahead to meet up with the rest of the group. “Hey everyone! Did I miss anything important?” he smiled warmly, his blue eyes gazing in wonder at the new cat creature before the group. He would have to try his abilities at taking on its form later, he thought to himself. Swiveling his head around he observed the environment further. Being such a visual person it was hard to stay focused on such new and intriguing sites. He was soon lost in his field of study, taking photos again.

Shadowfax spread his wings out with discomfort under the glare of the girl, but forced himself to relax. He then ignored her and watched as two more kids walked out of the space bus. One of them was holding a camera and taking pictures which made him very edgy. The other approached the group and greeted them. Hello, you two. I am Shadowfax. He said quickly befoe shutting off his thoughts to the boy in the group and directing his thoughts to the boy with the camera alone. If you'll excuse this. It might seem rude, but could you please refrain from taking pictures for now? Shadowfax asked, anxiety curling in his stomach.

Kaze blinked at the mysterious voice that appeared in his head. 'Oh! Sorry! Please forgive me, I’ll stop…' he gave up his a.ssignment for the time being and searched for the voice. It was the cat. Realizing this he smiled down at the creature apologetically. It disappointed him to think that this new rule may apply to the entire visit. Either way he had to respect the inhabitants here, especially as such an unexpected guest. 'May I ask when I will be able to take pictures? If not at all I understand. I don’t plan any harm while I’m here, just so you know.' he spoke back to the cat nervously, hoping it would understand that he truly did mean peace. He wasn’t a big fan of violence himself. In fact, he was sort of a pacifist.

"Ah, hello, Shadowfax," Kioko replied, surprised by the mental speech.  She nodded to the boy who spoke next.  "Hello as well."  She eyed the smirking boy who had just joined them from the space bus, relaxing when he didn't do anything beisdes nod and greet them.  She nodded back, and turned back to Shadowfax, preparing to speak again, when the next boy out of the bus pulled out his camera and began taking pictures.  

She stepped back to avoid accidently having her picture taken by the enthusiastic boy.  After he was asked to stop taking photos, she inwardly sighed in relief, and spoke to Shadowfax.  "May I ask a question?"  She took out a notepad and pencil from her jacket.  "I understand if you don't want us to take photos yet, but is it alright if I jot down notes as we go along?  It would help greatly with gathering information."  Flipping open the notepad, she spoke again.  "Not to seem impatient, but may we start?  Not that this isn't a lovely planet, but I miss my home."

Shadowfax flicked his tail in annoyance and turned from the camera boy. He seemed to slightly sigh in response to Kioko's question.  I see that you are impatient, but patience is a virtue. Anyway, you're going to stay here quite longer than you expected. That space bus is going to leave and I have no idea when it's going to come back. You probably won't need a notepad either. What you'll learn will most likely not be forgotten. He thought to her kindly. He rustled his wings, anxious to get going.

Indecision caused his whiskers to twitch before he finally made up his mind. Actually, let us go. He said, flicking his tail once again. He arched his back and stretched, kneading his paws into the ground as he did so. He began to walk across the open plain, paws stepping gingerly on the white gra.ss. He did not wait for the children to follow, knowing they would. He pulled his mind away from the rest of the group and stretched it to Taylor. She mixed her thoughts with his and he could feel anxiety and fear being forcefully smothered by fake calmness.

All will be okay. Shadowfax said to her and he could almost feel her nod her head.

Taylor stood on the steady tree branch and launched herself up to a higher branch. She grabbed the branches swiftly and pulled herself up. She climbed halfway up the tree. She crouched down low, summoning her strength, before leaping into open space. She landed on a wooden railing and slipped down onto the wooden boards that protuded from the tree. She walked the half cicumference of the tree and continued to walk on another pathway connecting to another tree.

Taylor and Shadowfax had built this structure throughout most of the forest and it had taken quite a few years to perfect it. She strained her ears and heard the sound of rushing water. She quickened her pace, boards rattling under her feet as she ran, and came to another tree where a small tree house had been built in the branches. She kicked open the door to the tree house and walked through, coughing as a musty smell hit her nose. The tree house was about the size of a large garden shed and could easily accomodate more than ten people.

She opened the windows by pushing the plastic frames aside and let the clean air enter the small structure. She then opened the back door and slipped out. A green and blue river flowed about fifteen feet below her. She sat down and slipped her legs through the wooden stakes that made up the railing and swung her feet gently, her white shoelaces rapping against her black converse.

Damon looked at Phoenix, his ex
pression fixed in a sneer, his eyes cold.

"Is that any way to treat the one that is going to show us around? Do not take your insecurities out on Shadowfax or any of us, for that matter."

Vapor growled, his new priority to calm down Damon. Calm down, it's none of our business.

"No, it is our business now. You aren't the only one here that doesn't like crowds. We were informed that we could bring our pets, if you decided not to bring yours, that is your problem. Leave Shadow alone."

((Oh Darn, I forgot about this role-play. xD

Haillie came in then. She had been quiet for the most part, listening to conversations. It was interesting, but now felt like the time to butt in. "Ooh, Damon has a cruuushh~" She sang, a smirk appearing on her lips as she spoke. It was fun to pester Damon.
