Kippen turned his gaze back to the boy. "Correct," he said, a half smile showing up on his face. "How about you?" he asked, genuinely interested. Unlike other families he knew, he didn't get out much. He'd stayed on Mars most of his life. "Neighbor?" he turned to the girl, quizzicaly.

Shadowfax flicked his tail at Damon's comment. Well, of course you couldn't master more than one power. He meowed with amusement. You obtain the power you're born on because of one factor. It truly does not matter which parents you are sired from. He said, twisting his head around to face Damon, but kept up his steady pace. You were all born on the planet that gives you your certain powers, but of course, you wouldn't know that. Your government doesn't know that your powers don't come from your parents, but from your planets. He said, his eyes sparkling. Pick up the pace. He said. I would also appreciate it if all of you refrained from contacting any of the other Planets while you stay here. That could be ill-fated for all of us. He said with a slight sigh.

Shadowfax rolled his eyes as the click of a camera hit his ears. He glanced at Kaze out of the corner of his eye, but dismissed his irritation. At least the kid wasn't near the work place or the main city. That would be a disaster if those pictures got out. He snickered to himself as he realized the kid had somehow smuggled that camera past security. Either that or the idiotic government hadn't thought about confiscating it. Another thought hit the small demon cat. Maybe they wanted pictures to get out. He thought worriedly to himself.

Kioko sighed unhappily, but put away the notepad.  "I was hoping we could finish this quickly, but it seems we're going to be here for awhile."  She followed along with the others as the creature led them away.  The white haired girl overhead someone mention the Mercury child and turned her attention to the speaker, a dark haired girl a few years older than her.

"If you wished to meet the Mercury child, I'm right here," she told the girl.  She heard a camera click and glanced behind them to see the boy with the camera snap one last picture.  Kioko mentally sighed.  A rule breaker, it seemed.  Great.  She heard Shadowfax speaking again, and turned her attention back to the voice in her head.

His comment about not contacting the Planets caused her to become concerned.  "Why is that?"  she asked in response to the mental request.  "Is there something we should know?"

Shadowfax flicked his tail as he collected his thoughts. Well, there is some information that you will learn about this planet and your planets that will most likely shock you. I am not in position to be giving away the information you will learn, as I do not know what should or should not be restrained from you. There are a lot of things you should know, but that doesn't mean you'll learn them. He answered mysteriously. They had reached the fringe of trees and Shadowfax paused, surveying his landmarks. He took a short left and entered the forest between two trees that had a branch from each intertwining with the other.

He walked up to another tree and glanced back at the group. The hidden pa.ssageways that Taylor had traversed earlier were not capable of being viewed from here. Wait here. He said to the group before spreading his demonic wings and leaping into the air. He climbed through the air up the tree, dodging loose branches on his way. He soared over the railing of one of the walkways and settled down onto the boards of the wooden path. He then grasped a rope between his teeth and pulled a trap door from the flooring. Then he kicked a block of wood from above the tree and a rope ladder swung down through the hole. Climb. He said to them and sat down to wait patiently.

[[ Recap ~ All the kids got off of the space bus. Shadowfax talked to them and comvinced them to follow him. They walked toward the forest and now they are climbing a tree and they'll see wooden pathways scattered through the forest. Shadowfax is taking them to Taylor. ]]

Shadowfax sighed as Damon argued with him. He did not press the subject, but merely replied with, You'll see what I'm talking about later. Shadowfax thought to him. He let loose another yawn and blinked his eyes sleepily. The kids would follow him, he knew that, so he took off down one of the winding paths through the trees.

Kaze felt that people were glaring at him. He didn't understand why. He was older and didn’t deserve disrespect from children. He wasn't being mean or anything, and he didn't like to be mean anyway. He hadn't even taken that many pictures. He decided that it was time to stop taking photos completely. He knew it was probably a wise choice but it made his heart sink. Letting the whole subject go he sighed heavily and began to climb after everyone else. He wondered if the boy from Uranus felt the same way, being that he was of a similar age. At that point he wasn’t really concerned with what the cat creature had to say, even with the information he seemed to be concealing. He was simply following orders. His eyes grew a bit sorrowful behind a bright glint cast down upon his gla.sses. He began to miss his friends. One friend in particular he missed very dearly, whenever he was apart from her. With another sigh he tried to release his saddening thoughts. There was no time at all to be sensitive in his current situation.  

Ebony glanced around at the others warily. He did not approach the group after boarding off of the space bus. As a small cat that called itself Shadowfax began to talk to them, he pushed his thoughts elsewhere. As the gathering of kids began to follow the cat, he stayed near the back and followed suit. He crossed his arms over his chest and trudged along the soft white ferns that brushed against his legs. When they reached the forest and Shadowfax instructed all of the kids to climb the rope, he eyed it with mild distaste. He leaned against an ashen gray tree and waited for the others to climb first, his ears pulled back and his the tip of his tail flicking, showing his obvious agitation.

Damon ignored the cat's words, following him down the wooden planks. If he wasn't so mad, he would be starting trouble right now. Maybe some things were for the best.
