"Should we allow this Shaded Branch? This has been our kins secret for countless seasons, ours alone." A transparent she-cat asked coldly, only her green eyes fully visible and sparkling with outrage. "Our Kin is no more Faded Echo, others must be allowed to access the power of The Shift." The large tom known as Shaded Branch replied calmly, already leaning in to touch his nose to the star filled water at their paws and release his own unused power. "We need it no more." Once both shadowy cats were powerless, they looked up at the stars simultaneously through the whole in the cave roof. "Only four may access these powers of The Shift and may our ancestors and theres guide them." Plot:
The ancient Cats of The Kin were a lot like the clans, only they had no leader and no medicine cat. Instead they were ruled by whoever had the power of The Shift. The shift allowed them to take on the appearance of either a fox, a wolf, a cougar, or a Bob Cat, which ever their ancestors wanted them to have. Seasons later the Kin were no more by means never figured out and two clans, Whispclan and Cometclan, have taken over the forest. Four apprentice, will stumble upon the cavern where the small pond with the power resides and gain the power of The Shift to use it for good, or for evil. The Shifters pool

Name: Silentpaw Age: 13 Moons Gender: Tom Personality: Silentpaw, like his name suggests, is a very quiet cat and
can be a bit anti-social and aggressive if he does not know you. He wants
only to become the best warrior he can be and surp*censored* what
everyone expects of him because he was not clan born. His loyalty runs
deep, not just for his clan but also for his friends, and tries to held them
close in fear of losing everything again. Family: Myth (deceased mother), Cooper (deceased father),
Tinker Bell (kittypet sister). Mate/Crush: To young Will be a Shifter? If so which animal?: Yes; Wolf Rank/Clan: Apprentice / Whispclan Appearance: Silentpaw is some-what small in in muscle build,
but make up for strength in speed. He is very lithe and has dark drown,
almost black, short fur with darker tabby stripes. His eyes are a bright amber.
Other: Was born by a rouge and a a kittypet. His mother died during a fox
attack as well as his father. His sister chose to become a kittypet, saying
she was not up for the life of a warrior, and he chose to stay in Whispclan.
He was brought up the last few moons of his kit life by Falconwing, loving
her as a mother. Name: Falconwing Age: 28 Moons Gender: She-cat Personality: She can sometimes get really shy around cats she isn't used
to but has no fear other than being alone. She can get quiet hasty in battles
but is very quick thinking yet will never fatally harm another cat even if they
are more then willing to kill her. She has a very nurturing side as well, loving
to be around kits and young cats, eve though she knows with her personality
she probably never will have kits of her own. Family: She looks at Silentpaw as her son. Mate/Crush: None Will be a Shifter? If so which animal?: Nope Rank/Clan: Warrior / Whispclan Appearance: She is a very small cat as well, with tiny paws and a lithe build
made for running. Her fur is semi-long with a mixture of orange, brown,
black, and white splotches, the most notable a black muzzle on her otherwise
white face. Her ears are orange with black tips. Her eyes are a gentle green.
Other: Nothing of importance Name: Copperfire Age: 29 Moons Gender: Tom Personality: Copperfire is ambivalent, a.ssertive, and agile. He is well spoken
and kind to every cat. He is always speaking with reserve, consideration,
and politeness to any she-cat, young or old. While with other toms he’s a
bit more aggressive, outspoken, and demanding. Ashfoot has a defensive side
to him that makes most cats wearily, but that’s what happens when secrets
are held Family: None Mate/Crush: None Will be a Shifter? If so which animal?: Nope Rank/Clan: Warrior / Whispclan Appearance: He is a deep russet color with a large build made for fighting,
not running. His fur is short and thick, with a long tail that he used for balance.
His ears are shredded and a long scar runs across his nose. His eyes are a
dark blue. Other: Nothing of importance Name: Sunflare Age: 30 Moons Gender: Tom Personality: Sunflare is a very open, happy, and out going tom. Knowing that
he is a bit on the rash side, the tom has learned to control his instantaneous
actions, for the most part. Swiftdarkness has an odd personality, he is loving
to those who love him back, but hurt one he loves and you’ll never know
happiness. Though once you’re in his heart, it’s hard to get out. Family: None of Importance Mate/Crush: None; wants Will be a Shifter? If so which animal?: Nope Rank/Clan: Warrior / Cometclan Appearance: He is a light orange,, almost cream colored cat with slightly
darker spots that look some-what to leopards spots. He has a medium
sized build but with long hooked claws. His eyes are a gentle green.
Other: Nothing of importance Name: Fallenwind Age: 48 Moons Gender: Tom Personality: Very anti-social, he still grieves mentally for the loss of his mate
and kit yet does not let any other cat see his weakness. He thinks that
showing sadness or even happiness could get you killed, and rebukes cats
if he see's it. He's not one of the more liked cats, seeing that his loyalty now
weavers from his clan to becoming a rouges just to escape everything. He
can be harsh, but he is very wise at the same time if caught in a decent
mood. He knows his time is coming to a end even if he is still young, his
own self-pity and grief kill him even though no one see's it. Family: Russetkit (deceased) Mate/Crush: Shimmerpool (deceased) Will be a Shifter? If so which animal?: Nope Rank/Clan: Warrior / Cometclan Appearance: He is a dark black cat with short thick fur and and a deep V in
his right ear. He used to be a large cat with thick muscles made for fighting
and always had his head held high. Now he is skinny with his ribs almost
visible and his fur is dull and slightly matted. His amber eyes though still
spark when agitated though.
