"Why do I have a bird and a bat?" Xaicus snapped, looking around from his treetop perch. The little nocturnal rat was asleep on his back, clinging tightly. Honestly. How had he of all creatures get pulled into this?
"Well, Xaicus. Me you like. The bat you're too soft to abandon." Louanctus chirped, preening himself. Xaicus sent him a glare, and swatted at him. Lou hopped easilly away, clucking in amusement. "I was not wanting an answer, Lou." "Don't move so much, Xai. You'll wake the baby."
Why is it always so late when I\'m awake?

"Nice to meet you Luffy. I am Naomi. Normally lone raccoons like you are trouble but... Meh, I'm a fox, you're a raccoon. You're no danger to me. This way." Naomi headed in the direction of the nearest river.

Xaicus climbed down from his tree, and dug up half a mouse he hadn't finished the day before, trotting towards the river to wash off the filth... Not a habit many cats used, but the dirt...? He'd either wash it or catch a new one! Loianctus flew ahead of him, assuming where he was going and landing in the shallow water. He fluttered a bit, enjoying the short bath. Xaicus rolled his eyes.
"You birds are absolutely ridiculous. Water. Yuck." He leaned over the water, holding the mouse by its tail and letting the water rince the dirt from its corpse. It had been buried under the dirt overnight, and was absolutely crusty. After a moment the cat sighed, and dropped it, letting the water carry it away. "I'll just catch another... Want to take Jr for a bit?" Lou looked up, and clucked a bit of odd laughter. "No. I wouldn't take the baby from Daddy." "If you weren't in water, I'd consider making you breakfast, Lou." Xaicus growled, and just sat where he was for the moment.

Naomi and the raccoon approached the river when she spotted the wild cat. Naomis' ears pricked up.

Spirit let out a loud call for anyoone eles to here. She looked at where the wolf had bitten, she let out a sigh and a low shreek. She stood up again and walked around untill she collapsed agan, this time near where Naomi and the rest were.

Luffy was starving. He didn't notice the fox stop. He drank from the river. A big salmon swam near him. He quickly snagged it's gills and pulled it out. It was a female! It would be full with delicous eggs. "Want some?" he offered to the fox.

Xaicus turned his head to see a familiar fox, and purred a bit, flicking his tail. She had seemed friendly enough at their last meeting. With her was a raccoon, and Xaicus tilted his head as it waded straight to the waters edge. It stuck in a paw, and out came a rather large fish.
"Impressive." he meowed, jumping rock to rock to move closer to the unusual pair, "I've never seen that done before." Louanctus looked up from his bath for a moment, only to decide nothing too interesting was going on, and went back to preening.

Reyna howled in pain as Deesel clamped onto her fur. Luckily the wolf had hit a tree and scratched herself, so Reyna struggled to get free from her grasp. She clawed and bit and kicked- but to no avail. She roared in pain some more, and her neck hurt, and the pain wasn't going away anytime soon.

Reyna screeched in pain as Deesel scratched at her sides, cutting them deeply, and she could do nothing about it, hence her head was being clamped by a pair of locked jaws. She kicked Deesel in the side.

Xaicus looked unto th water, watching other fish already swim past to take the missing ones place.
"Nice to see you again, Fox." he purred, "The humans are moving closer, though. I'm surprized you haven't left yet... Also, I don't beleive I've ever cauht your name...?"
