Charlie's eyes were mean and almost evil looking as she glared at her prey: A small carp from the river. Her facial expressions turned sharp and her teeth gleamed in the rising sun as she got ready to attack the unmoving animal. Suddenly, her ex
pression turned playfull and fun as she got on her back and threw the fish in the air. It looked as if she were a cat playing with a ball of string.

Vinny stepped out of his den as he had just woken up. He paused to stretch and yawn before walking down to the stream for a drink and maybe a morning swim. A lot was on his mind as he was just premoted to Beta male, while Akila was Beta Female. Were people expecting the two to mate seeing how they had the same rank? Vinny had definantly liked Akila before, but he was never in her leage.

Akila walked out of her and Shane's den. Akila smiled. She went hunting. She got an elk. She dragge it back to her den.

The alpha sat watching her pack. She didn't see any one who needed her at the moment so she chose to lay out on a rock by the Stream. She stretched out on the rock, her fur soaking up the warm rays of sun.

Akila spotted Vinny. She put the elk down. "Hi Vinny."She said.

Shane came out of his den and gabbed the elk from Akila. He dragged it to their den. Soon enough, he ate it all. He went back hunting for Akila.

Vinny got his drink and shook his head as he noticed his sister playing with a fish. "Don't play with your food, Charlie," Vinny said roughly but with a teasing tone. "Come on, finish up and scout the territory?"

"I'd rather just go back to the den and take a nap," Charlie said sarcastically. She got up and shook her fur, making dust and small twigs fall over Vinny's black fur. She eyed him with a mean glare, which was fake. She nudged him then they raced back to the dens, breathing hard as they came to a stop.

Akila sulked to her den. She saw that the elk was gone. She sighed and layed down.

((Gah! It's 1:32 A.M here though.))

Vorlos slunk out of his den, poking around. He spotted his pack member, Launa, resting on a rock. He sniffed and walked right up to her, poking her in her ginger pelt. "It should be time for hunting and patrolling, not resting." He said to her in a teasing voice.

Rotia strode out of her den, stretching and yawning luxuriously. She obviously had a peaceful night, and looked around the camp. She saw Vorlos and Fauna, and Rotia felt a twinge of jealousy. Vorlos was an excellent hunter, and Rotia always wanted to be one, but her snow-white pelt only helped her during the winter.

"And elks we shall hunt. I love easy prey." Launna pranced with Vorlos. She stopped suddenly, her ears pricked up. She crouched low in the underbrush. The sound of footsteps sounded in her ears. Food! she thought. She looked over at Vorlos,  wondering if he heard them to and was crouched at the ready.
