Fauna nudged Kazumi. "Someday you will get it right. Hang in there." She smiled at the pup and licked her nose. "Come with me, Kazumi. I want to show you a special place." Fauna lead the way into the woods. She kept an eye on the pup following her. She knew that Kazumi would love this place.

Kazumi yipped before running after her. She made sure that she was close to Fauna and not to far away. She didn't want to get lost in the woods who knows how long it might of been till she was found and with her not being able to shout for help it might take longer then a pup that could.

Fauna stepped into the glade. The gr*censored* here was perfectly green and the wind blew through the many colored leaves of trees softly. A brook babbled through the glade. Everything was hushed and peaceful. There was a single fallen black birch tree by the brook, laid out almost like a bench to sit on while watching the rippling water. Fauna sat on the birch and beckoned for the pup to join her. "My mother lead me here when I was smaller than you are now, Kazumi. She used to tell me that even if the entire world was at war, I could be safe from all harm here. Now, I want you to know this place, just as I knew it so many years ago."

Kazumi looked at her and yipped happily as her tail wagged. She jumped up on the birch next to Fauna as she looked at the river watching the fish as if she was in a trance. ((fail XD)) |

"So do you like it, Kazumi?" Fauna inquired. She looked around her taken in by the place she hadn't been to in a while. She stopped coming here when her brother left the pack. They used to play in the water and nap in the tall gr*censored* together, but that was years ago. Now, Fauna had a new family. She hoped for a long time that she would find family, and now she has.

Kazumi soon snapped out of the small trance she was in and yipped while wagging her tail happily. As she looked around again she moved closer to Fauna and nuzzled into her as if she was hiding when really it was her showing how much she trusted the person she was nuzzled into.

Fauna Licked the pup's ears. "We can come here as often as you would like. Maybe it can help you the way it helped me at your age..." Fauna nudged the pup. Fauna had learned everything here. Her brother taght her to fight in this glade. Her mother taught her to speak here. Her father taught her to hunt and how to be a leader. This glade held memories for Fauna and she hoped Kazumi would have memories here as well. "Would you like that? to come back here?"

Kazumi looked up at her and nodded happily her tail wagging before she nuzzled back into Fauna. She lifted her head as she looked around and nudged her way so she was now more or less under Fauna. She always did it when she was with her brother it gave her the feeling of safety which deep down she was scared that someone was going to come to hurt her or make the ones she loved leave her.

Fauna smiled. "your safe here, Kazumi. I promise." She pulled lightly at the pup's tail, trying to have her come out. "No need to be afraid." Fauna pulled the tail again. "Come on out, Kazumi. We must head back to then den. Kaze is probably worried about us by now. Fauna stood up and lept off the birch. "Let's go, Kazumi."

Kazumi yelped before running after her. She then walked under Fauna as she looked around for some reason she couldn't shake the feeling she was being watched but she didn;t know by what or who. Kaze was sitting in the den looking around. He was waiting for Fauna and Kazumi to get back. He wasn't worried about them but he missed them both. |

Fauna started heading out of the glade. Then, she stopped. There was a rustling in the leaves. She pushed the pup down into the tall gr*censored* to hide her. "Don't move, " She whispered. The air smelt like another wolf. She waited for the wolf to appear. "Hiya sis!" Suddenly a tall male came strutting into the glade. "Did you miss me?" Fauna relaxed. It was just Roffe. "You scared me, Roffe! What are you doing here? How have you been? I really missed you!" Fauna danced like a pup. then, started licking Roffe's muzzle. "I've been ok, but I was getting bored of the loner life. Decided to come home. Where's mum and dad?" Fauna put her head down. "They died, Roffe. A hunter..." Fauna laid down. She didn't want to think about her parents. Then, she remembered Kazumi. "Kazumi, You can come out. It's just my brother. Nothing to fear." |

Kazumi poked her head out of the gras.s before ducking it again as she hid from the strange male. To her he was a stranger she didn't know and might hurt her. She then turned and started crawling away from the male still hidden like her brother told her to do if she was near someone she didn't know. She knew if he came over to her she would howl for her brother and knew he would save her if the male was going to hurt her.

Fauna gave Roffe a look that said 'don't move.' Then, she walked over to Kazumi and laid beside the pup in the gras.s. "It's ok, Kazumi. He won't hurt you. But if you want I can take you back to the den away from him. Is that what you want?" Fauna licked the pup's ear in comfort. Roffe watched Fauna. He never knew that Fauna had a pup. He had missed a lot and felt horrible that he had. He sat down, waiting for Fauna to come over agian. |

Kazumi poked her head out of the gras.s to look at the male before looking at Fauna and shaking her head no but crawled over to her and nuzzled into her as she whimpered abit. She didn't want to be near the male but she didn't want to leave her alone incase soemthing happened. She knew if anything did happen she would feel bad that she let it happen to her. while if she was here if something happened she could call for her brother and he could help.

"Let's go back, Kazumi. I can tell your afraid. We can go be safe at the den. Come on." Fauna stood up. "It was nice to see you Roffe. Please do visit again later. Now we must go back to our den." Fauna lifted Kazumi by the scruff of the neck, careful to hold onto her gently. Then, the Alpha trekked home.

Kazumi looked up at her and whimpered showing that she was sorry. She could tell that Fauna knew the male well but after what has happened to Kazumi since she was born it's been in her to run first and not ask questions. So with the new male she was scared but she didn't want to of held Fauna back from talking to the male if she knew him.

Fauna didn't mind leaving Roffe behind. He was her brother and she had missed him, but she was still furious with him for leaving her. He had walked out on her family a long time ago, and now felt he could waltz right back into her life. She wasn't sure she was ready to have him as part of the pack. She would never trust him not to run away again. He just wasn't so reliable in her opinion. Fauna got to the den area and put Kazumi down. Then, she went to see if Kaze was awake.

Kazumi didn't know that Fauna didn't mind just leaving the male and Kazumi felt bad about it still watching her go towards the den. Kazumi had an idea wagging her tail she quickly ran back to the clearing where the male was and she looked around when she found him she ran over to him barking and yelping at him trying to get his attention. Kaze looked up seeing Fauna walk into the den he smiled his own tail wagging abit as he watched her. |

Fauna sat down and licked Kaze's ears and muzzle. "How are you, sleepy head?" She laughed lightly. " I missed you!" She nudged him and snuggled up to him. Roffe had started to leave the glade when he heard the pup. "What are you doing out here, little one? Where's your mom?" He asked. "You really shouldn't be out here alone. The woods are dangerous." |

Kaze laughed and nuzzled her licking her head "and ive missed you too" he said nuzzleing her more "and i have been awake i just wanted you and Kazumi to spend time with eachother talking of Kazumi where is she?" he asked her tilting his head confuzed. Kazumi looked at him whimpering when he asked where her mother was before she started pulling him towards the den barking at him before she ran off only stopping and turning to make sure he was following her. She was goign to make Fauna happy by bringing him to her. |
