Roffe growled back at him. Then, he tried to move past the male, going around him over a new path.

Fauna lifted her head. "Roffe, please," She pleaded. She tried to lift herself from the ground, but he had hurt her too much. She couldn't get up. "Roffe, don't do this. She needs us. You don't understand. Her brother and I are all she has, all she trusts. Don't ruin her life to get back at me. Leave the pup." Then, Fauna rested her head on the ground and let out a pained whine.

Roffe stopped. He turned to look at his sister. He hated to see her hurt and was sorry he had done that to her, but he was mad. He turned to leave then changed his mind. He gently put Kazumi down and then took off. He gave a howl to the sky and ran to the glade. There he laid down by the water, regretting ever heading back to the den.

Kaze walked over to Fauna he helped her to stand up and walked her into the den "Kazumi come" he said to her as he helped Fauna into the den to lay down.

Kazumi whimpered as she walked in to the den and went to lay down where she was with Roffe. She knew Kaze was mad but she didn't know why he was so mad.

Kaze nodded before laying next to her resting his head on her back before falling asleep.

Kazumi curled up into a little ball away from Fauna and Kaze. She had her little bit of fur that she was playing with by her as she nuzzled into it. It had the smell of Roffe on it so she imagened he was there.

Fauna woke up before Kaze and Kazumi. She slipped out of the den while the sun was just beginning to rise. Swiftly, she made her way to the glade. She knew he was there and she planned to confront him. When she got there, Roffe was laying by the water, awake and with a sad look on his face. He barely lifted his head to look at Fauna arriving.

"Sister. How well you know me. Now, say what you need to say. Tell me off. Have me leave." He laid his head down, waiting for her reply.

"Brother." She stood tall, but her face softened as she watched his demeanor. He seemed genuinely upset. " I.. I.."

"Say it, Fauna. I know you just want me to go."

Fauna just stood there, staring at him. She felt her Alpha personality failing to her pup side. She loved Roffe. He was her brother.

"Come on. Fauna, just say it. Let's get this over with. You have your pup to get back to."

Fauna became puzzled. "I don't have a pup.." Then, she realized he meant Kazumi. " Kazumi's not my pup. I wish I was her mother, but I'm not. She's my mate's sister."

Roffe seemed confused. Then he sorted things out in his head. "So you will protect a sister, but still push a brother out?"

Fauna shook her head. "No, Roffe. I can't push my brother out. Come now. You have a pack to join." Fauna turned to see the pup behind her. "Kazumi!"

Fauna looked at Roffe. "Your a member of my pack now, Roffe. Don't let me down." Then she turned and ran after the pup. She slipped into the den to where the pup was. "Kazumi," she whispered, "you aren't in trouble. You just surprised me. That's all." Then, she licked the pup's ears.

Roffe waited a while before heading to the dens. He saw how upset the pup seemed. He figured that he should give Fauna a little while with the young one before he showed up.

Fauna licked the pup. She felt horrible for making her think she was in trouble. Fauna smiled at the pup. "I'm not upset with you. I just didn't expect to see you behind me." Fauna nudged the pup softly.

Roffe slowly made his way from the glade to the den area. When he reached the edge of the area, he stood and stared at the dens. It felt weird to him to be home.

Fauna could smell Roffe now. "Kazumi, run along outside. I brought a friend for you."
