Basically, a sequel to my last RP from this ti
tle. All Old Characters are welcome, as are new ones!~ :D
Basic Plot: The Circus exists to help peculiar people. People with looks and abilities that are only ever seen as weird or strange. The Circus travels, searching for people with peculiar abilities or looks that usually result in them being shunned from society.
The Ringmaster of said Circus has done all he can to protect the livelihood of his family, after allowing in creature which could potentially damage everything. A boy who harboured a Demon. The trails during this period of time were deadly, straining the Circus and it's members. However, all that is past, and the Circus is ready for a new adventure, will this one be as rocky as the last? The RP is set a year and a half or so after my last RP under this ti
tle. You don't really need to know what happened if you choose to be an Old member, for the past, is, afterall, the past. As a sidenote, the Demon no longer resides in the Circus, though who knows what else may happen? >3

- I request that all characters be HUMAN with peculiar/strange abilities. No vampires/werewolves/Fairies etc. You can have abilities that relate to these species, but your character must still be human. It's just part ofr the setting. ;D

Name: Raphael Evora Age: 22 Gender: Male Appearance: Don't include the blades. xD and his hands are bandaged from wrist to knuckle. :3 Old/New Member? Ring Master Personality: Raphael is generally a warm and very forward character. He tends to portray himself as fun loving and very student-like, easily amused and just as easily distracted. He has a very outgoing personality, more than willing to confont and befriend anyone, and as such can sometimes come across as immature.
Despite his usual cheerfulness, Raphael takes great responsibility for the Circus and it's members, often referring to them as his "family". As such, he is very protective of them, willing to do anything within his power in order to secure their welfare. Raphael also has a habit of hiding his negative feelings, which can usually lead to him blaming himself for a situation gone wrong.
It's not particularly uncommon for Raphael to drop his "happy go lucky" persona, and adopt the role of a far more serious and logical character. No matter how often he acts as Ring Master, he always knows when to drop the charade and will act accordingly. He can quite literally go from one extreme to the other.
Despite everything, he will always put the Circus and it's members safety first, even before his own.
Ability: An Illusionist. Raphael has the ability to mess with all 5 senses, feeling included.
He can quite literally bring people's dreams and nightmares to life, and the technique is almost impossible to fail, seeing as he manipulates senses rather than the outer world. He can create the feeling of flight, or even severe pain, depending on his mood.
His illusions usually cover a certain area, and anyone who pas.ses into that area will fall into the scene he sets, unable to pas.s back out unless Raphael halts his ability.
He can also cast illusions in people's minds, so that only they and he will see whatever he casts, anyone on the outside will see nothing out of the ordinary.
His illusions can kill, depending on what it is exactly he does with his ability. For example, the experiencing of drowning, when carried out over a long period of time, will kill, as well as his ability to make a body believe it has been killed, prompting the heart the stop. Crush: None yet. But this is open. xD Other: Stands at 6'3" ~~~ Name: Julian Elois Age: 23 Gender: Male Appearance: Old/New Member: Old Member Personality: Calm, collected, and serious. Julian is quite literally the opposite of Raphael. His aura is that of someone who would rather not be disturbed, though in reality is he perfectly sociable, usually towards his fellow members. Like Raphael, though he won't mention it out loud, he cares deeply for the other members of the Circus. Julian isn't particularly fond of "normal" people, seeing as he holds a bit of a personal grudge with the way they treat people like him, and with the way he was treated as a child, though that feeling has dimmed incredibly while being a member of the Circus. Despite his feelings, he treats them as a host should, seeing as the Circus' audiences are usually entirely of that kind, though in reality he would never harm them. It's just a personal nag he can't seem to shake off. Generally, he's very easy to get along with once you get to know him. Ability: Is unable to miss a target. He can quite literally throw anything and hit any target, his performances usually consisting of very dangerous seeming acts. His ability is generally seen as one of the safest. His success is mostly due to his ability to read a situation, and he adjusts his speed to suit it. While he is able to throw fast, he can also move his entire body just as quickly, seeming to almost dissapear then reappear depending on where he heads. These abilities are closely linked, and are clas.sed as one. Crush:

Old member~ Personality: Maya is one of the warmest personalities in the Circus, and is forever showing her emotion to the world. She has an inability to hide her feelings, and as such, people usually tend to know when she's in a bad mood. She once had childlike features, which remained permenant until she hit the age of 17, at which she went through a phase of metamorphasis (To the Circus's dismay... Just imagine putting up with a moody teenager for a week or so. xD). Her hair, previously white, became gold, and her wings became far more developed. She will always accept "freaks" and humans, believing that hating the latter for the way they treat people like her is pointless, and quite frankly a waste of energy. She is bubbly and loud, unless she's upset. She is very, very protective, and despite her looks, is not afraid of the dangers that come with being a part of the Circus, or protecting those she loves.
She is, and always will be, the "child" of the Circus, no matter what age she may be. Abilities: Mayanna has the ability to talk and communicate with butterflies, having a certain amount of control over their movements. There are always a number of the fluttering insects within her van at any one time. Her wings release a coloured, shimmering dust, which she uses during performances to create a stunning haze of colour for an audience while she dances, performing alongside a spectrum of butterflies in a number of formations. The dust can be manipulated at will.
She can also sing, and harbours a natural attraction and way with all species of animal. Crush: Still Dravius. xD Other: Now stands at 5'6" ~~~ Name: Karene Faiyre Age: 21 Gender:

Appearance: Karene isnt too tall, standing at around 5'8, with dark, caramel coloured hair. The length of her hair easily reaches her shoulder blades, though is usually tied back in a wavy ponytail, side-parted bangs just brushing over her green eyes. She has a slender build, and slightly muscular, though it's not noticable, really.
She constantly wears dark jeans and a black, long sleeved shirt with white arms, sleeves rolled up to her elbows, usually. Old/New Member: Older member. Around 4 years old.
Personality: Calm, witty, and very forward. Karene's not one to beat about the bush, and will usually tell it as it is, bluntly, if necas.sary. She's very nice when it comes to the newer members, though constantly teases the older ones. She's one of the few members who will actually act her age, and only rarely shows a childish side. Though that's not to say she doesn't.
Ability : Reads people. That is, she can detect a persons ability, and anything that might be unusual about said person, incuding searching their memories. She can also create powerful protective measures, such as barriers and invisiblity through the use of Magic. Because of this, she is one of the main sources of the Circus's protection, and usually provides some form of magical protection, though she is not, by any means, the only one who has some involvement in Circus protection measures. Ability: Anur doesn't really have an ability, just her odd looks and her weird habits. And funny clothes. She also really likes bugs and snakes. I dunno. Crush: She kind of likes Spider, actually. Other: She's pretty boyish, flat as a board, etc., although she gets really quite annoyed if mistaken for one. She always wears some variation of the clothes in the picture, no matter how hot it is out.

Nylat is usually very kind and calm, but she can have her moments when she can be very disagreeable. Kanec knows this first-hand. Despite being somewhat of a loner, Nylat is very loyal and will throw herself in the line of danger for the Circus. It is a family to her, as she has grown up in it. For this reason, her judgement is often biased of fogged when concerning the safety of the Circus at the risk of her own safety. Aside from that, she has the the tendency to attract the danger, but she is capable of handling it most of the time. Other times, she manages to live with what she can do. She is very proud and not one to admit defeat, which is only good in few cases. Other cases, it just gets her in more trouble. Oh, and for you Rpers from the old Rp, she still holds that grudge against Kanec. ;D Ability:
Due to being a hybrid, Nylat is incredibly strong. This strength leads to her being fast and able to jump great distances forward, or up. However, she doesn't normally attack others with this strength. Her gentleness prevents that. Crush:

I've failed at drawing him lately, but I'll give you the basic looks. He's got shaggy brown hair and green eyes(I forgot what color they were so live with green. D<). He normally wore simple clothes, but since he's started flying higher, he now wears a rather thick coat. All the time. He has no idea how he stands the heat. He has two large, brown wings, cream-colored and flecked with brown on the inner feathers. He also has fox-like ears, which have grown less reddish and are now browner. Old/New Member:

Kanec was usually fun and free-spirited in the old roleplay, but now, he is more likehis age. He is quite serious, especially with new members. However, when around the older members, he tends to let out his fun side, seeing as he's knon them for a while. He has been considerably quieter since he killed Jevak(the black wolf. Old Rpers will understand this), due to the fact that he killed, but he easily makes up for his silence by his new look on things. He's still trying to get Nylat to stop holding her grudge against him.

Old friend of Nylat's. During those one and a half years, he actually left the Circus for a month or two, but returned, naturally. This may be brought up. <3 Also, he has developed the ability to shift into a gryphon. This is used for acts only. He decided upon that. He is also Daniel's older brother. ~~~ Name: Daniel Jones (Unlike Kanec, he did not discard his last name) Age: 10 Gender: Male Appearance: Shaggy blonde hair and sharp green eyes. He was found in a near-shreded shirt of unknown color, for all the dirt that was on it, and a pair of dirty blue jeans. He usually has his bone dagger slipped ino a belt loop, even after running into Kanec. He's about 4'1", and is a healthy weight, suprisingly. His canines are filed to a point, and his breath usually smells of raw meat. Old/New Member: Uhm. Neither. Yet. Personality: Due to being abandoned, he's rather shy and untrusting of people, but loves animals. He is very jumpy and easily frightened. Daniel is rather uneducated, and has bad grammar as a result. He loves his brother, especially since he found him.
Ability: Can talk to animals. And understand them. ;D Crush: None. He's too cute and adorable. Other: Kanec's younger brother.

Ariskye still has her crimson eyes, but this time, they are confined into two small circles surrounded by white. The crimson irises are hazy and clouded, but the pupils seem to be non-existent. But when she gets angry, her pupils fade into being in the form of narrow slit-like pupils. Her hair is still hip-length with its blue-black strands that seem to reflect crimson in certain light. When she has her hair up in a ponytail, part of her bangs covers the left side of her face and a jagged, white scar that runs from her hairline to her lower jaw. Ariskye is dressed in all black which is totally out of whack against her pale white skin tone, but the white scar is a bit darker than the rest of her skin. Her shirt ends at her waist while it curves around her neck, it is skin-tight, and the shirt is sleeveless. Her pants start at her hips and does down long, muscular legs until it reaches her ankles. The pants are also skin-tight. Her shoes are black boots with silver skull fastenings. The boots also have two-inch heels. Black scales start at her shoulder blades and curl down her arms until it ends around her wrists, looking like a long tattoo. Her fingernails resemble claws and they are tapered to a pretty sharp point. Her canines are slightly longer and she looks animalistic when she smiles. Her hair covers the tips of her pointed ears. Ariskye stands at six one.

Ariskye is mysterious in her own ways. It is because of that, some people are drawn to her; thinking that they can unravel the mystery behind her. Because she is rather hard to befriend and/or “tame,” she has very few people she can actually call her friends. To those select few, she is loyal and protective. Not to mention, if anything were to attack her friends, she would ultimately give all of herself to save them from impending doom. When caught in a corner, she will fight to escape it. And she can get a small amount of blood lust when in the heat of battle. Ability:
Ariskye has the ability to shape-shift. But her forms are slightly bigger than the normal animal and have a more rugged appearance. The forms also have black fur/feathers/scales and seem to have deep-to-light crimson markings on them; and they have an extra set of wings that is smaller than the first or an extra tail. Sometimes, she can fuse two animals, but it usually happens when she isn't thinking.
Linking itself with the whole shape-shifting shpeal, Ariskye can also sprout certain things to help her. Whether it be a tail or a set of wings, and these are also black with marks of crimson and sometimes silver.
