Niamh looked at the offering slightly apprehensively, the reached out a paw to prod it. When nothing happened, she picked one of the pancakes up and swallowed it. She decided, as she finished the rest of the food, that this man was one who could be trusted. She was slightly confused by his kindness though. Why...? she began to think when she felt herself spontaneously transforming, again. She shivered when she held her paw...no, hand, in front of her face and saw slim pink and hairless fingers. She was clothed, that much she knew, but Niamh's skin was covered with goosebumps as the air hit her sensitive, non-protected skin. What just happened to me?!

Dravius continued playing for a few minutes, until one of his hard-struck chords avtually broke a string, and he snarled, setting the guitar next to him with a sigh The Co-master had never felt angrier, at Nylat, at Mayana, but mostly at himself, although he could't understand any of the anger. Dravius got to his feet. He lifted a lip in a snarl directed at no one, kicking the large pine tree next to him. Dravius just felt like screaming at nothing, but he knew it probably wouldn't achieve anything. Due to his..."raising", Dravius always had trouble with emotions, usually keeping them bottled up until he lost any shred of temper he had left. It only happened about once or twice yet, but it usually didn't go well when it happened. Many bones were broken, although most of them resided in Dravius's hand.

((Sure Nylat. DRAVIUS IS SUPPOSED TO BE DEALING WITH HALF OF THIS!... Too bad he's personally involved. Poor Raphael. xD)) Raphael stood, simply listening to the angry notes issuing from Dravius' van, before a flicker of movement pulled his attention away. With a startled bl ink, he shook his head, then smiled at the girl in front of him. "Welcome to the Circus," He said, in a somewhat subdued voice. "If your still hungry, you can help yourself," He gestured to the van behind him, just as the final musical note ended. He glanced at the Co-Masters van, then looked back towards the girl. "I'll return shortly, if you wish to talk," He smiled, then walked off, stopping not too far from the angry Co-Master and leaning against on of the unoffending trees. He waited only a few minutes, watching the younger Owner struggle with his inner termoil, before he sighed loud enough for Dravius to hear. "Are you going to talk to me?... Or would you prefer I leave you here to kick a few more trees, not that they deserve such treatment," He said, pausing and frowning slightly. "Naturally. It doesn't matter either way," And it was true... Raphael was nowhere near stupid enough to leave Dravius to stew in his own emotion. ~~~ Julian, still sat at one of the small dining tables, finally opened his eyes, glancing towards the van door. He seriously hoped the Circus would settle for a while... There was always something going wrong, at one time or another... Raphael, naturally, had Dravius' help most of the time... But whatever was going on now involved the Co-Master. Not that it mattered... In all reality, he, Kanec, Maya or even Nylat would easily have been able to step in. Each one of them, afterall, had been here from the start. The titles of Ring Master and Co-Master were only for show, in truth.
His gaze then fell on Spider and Kioko then, his face showing a certain curiousity as he pulled his thoughts away. "How are you finding the Circus?" He asked on a whim, his voice quiet. Sure... The Circus was never really all this dramatic... These two new kids just happened to show up at a bad time...

Niamh shivered again and stayed where she was, in the shadows. She'd always liked the dark, always watching the night skies when she had still had a home. And the small patch of shadows that the truck created made her feel slightly more secure, as if she was invisible to the harsh real world. "I'm human again," she whispered hoarsely, flinching at the sound of her gravelly voice. "I thought I could never..." She buried her head in her arms, taking a few deep breaths. "Take a deep breath and hold it for three counts, then let it go. Repeat," she muttered, though she didn't follow her own instructions. [I'm very brain-dead. No school does that. :c]

Dravius whipped around, relaxing only slightly when he saw the owner of the sigh, his face still stormy. "I don't wish to talk to you, Raphael." He said, every single muscle in his tall, lean body tensed. "I don't wish to talk at all. I feel about ready to snap." The Co-Owner growled, clenching his fists tighter, only one of his eyes narrowing. It was true, he was ready to snap, and although he said he didn't, he badly wanted to talk to someone. His anger slowly swirled until it was about half anger, and half cold, drowning sadness. He sat down next to the tree, ripping up handfuls of gras.s like it had just slapped him across the face. "This is too hard." He muttered angrily, chewing on a loose peice of skin on the side of his finger. "It's all too hard." He said more quietly, the anger in his voice apparent if you knew him. Dravius got to his feet again, his hands curled up with such force there were eight crescent shaped cuts on the palm of the teenager's hands. "It too hard!" His voice rose to a shout, breaking a branch of of the tall tree, the effort bunching the muscles in his arms. Dravius swung at the trunk of the tree so hard, he snapped the branch that was as thick around as his arm in half, the snap ringing throughout the clearing.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Spider sat down at the table, his eyes unblinking as he dribbled what look like jam over his pancakes. He considered Julian's question as he stuck a fork into his plate. "It's different." He finally said. "It's not what I'm used to. So I think it will be safe to get more acquainted with it before pa.ssing judgment." He nodded to himself, and started to cut his pancakes into pieces. For some odd reason, he felt the need to sound smarter in Julian's presence-- it was easier to be shy and terrified around the others. Probably because they were always preoccupied with something else, they couldn't give him much more attention than to ask why he was being so gosh darn weird all the time. Spider decided that as hard as it was, maybe he could try and be less wimpy. At least around Julian. Kioko probably wouldn't mind if he was wimpy. Julian was very collected. And he seemed to speak with a purpose, instead of just opening his mouth. Spider wondered if it was hard being that way, and admired him for it.

Kioko started to tell him about the large, albino wolf that had just dashed in and out of the van, but decided it would probably upset him. Besides, Raphael and Dravius would probably take care of it, like Spider said. "You're probably right," she told him as she took the syrup and poured a generous amount over her own pancakes. She had picked up her stray apple and placed it back on the plate when another person spoke to her. "I don't think you need to worry," Julian called out, twirling a dagger between the fingers of one hand. "I'm sure they'll take care of it," He continued, before closing his eyes and sighing. "How are you finding the Circus?" the dark haired man asked once he opened his eyes again. Kioko sat down beside Spider at the table before answering. "It's... a bit hectic so far. But I like being here." she began cutting up her pancakes before continuing. "No one makes a fuss about my looks or my weird abilities around here. It's nice."
"I WISH THAT PUNCTUATION HAD A PHYSICAL FORM SO I COULD SMOTHER YOU WITH IT."

Nylat flicked her tail, almost flat to the ground as she crept up upon the rabbit. She hadn't been able to find anything bigger, so she decided to settle on just hunting a few. With almost exact aim and great swiftness, the hybrid leapt at the small creature, killing it with a powerful blow to the spine. With rather expert skill, she cute it open and skinned it with great precision. Normally, she would do this back at the Circus, where she had little worry of being disturbed. But today, she just couldn't go back for a while. She'd probably end up taking a bit of a run. Maybe a day or two. ~~ Kanec, having been wandering around aimlessly, flicked his ears back at the music, a bit worried. He made his way over to the van, his stomach growling. As he came closer, he wondered if they'd have any raw meat for him. It wasn't exactly healthy, what with his being truely human, but he had an appetite for it at the moment. He padded up to the door, then reared up on his hind legs, his large paws fiddling with the handle for a second before he got it opened. As the tiger walked in, he dipped his head to Julian, his animal way of greeting. He gently grabbed a leg of the chair beside him and pulled it out, before leaping up into it and sitting calmly. "Hello Julian." He nodded to Kioko and Spider as well. "I trust your stay has been well so far?"
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

Raphael kept his eyes on Dravius as the younger male spoke, his ex pression never changing. The blonde haired Ring Master was an adept at hiding his own emotion, well... Most of the time. He sighed. "Of course, I won't listen to you," He said in reply to Dravius' first statement about not wanting to talk. As far as Raphael was concerned, he wasn't going to have a choice. If Dravius so much as tried to move away,he'd have to make use of his ability, and he would, with little prompting. He watched with an unwavering patience as the Co-Master took his anger out on the closest tree. Again. Raphael raised an eyebrow and crossed his arms. "Your going to have to explain. Why are you so angry?" He glanced at the broken tree limb. "By the way... Please keep an eye on what your doing... I'd rather not have you do permenant damage to yourself," He sighed again, then slid both hands into his pockets, leaning against the tree so that he faced the Co-master without having to turn his head. "Well?" He asked, his voice leaving no room for protest, yet being as understanding as Raphael could be. ~~~ Julian glanced at Spider as he started to speak, the Sword Masters eyes eventually landing on the van door again as he listened, only looking back at Spider when he replied. "Naturally." His gaze rested on Kioko as she spoke, and he chuckled quietly. "Hectic. It's not this bad, usually... What happened yesterday was not an everyday occurance." He glanced around the van at this point, reading all the members faces before turning back to Spider and Kioko as he mulled over the current problem. "And yes. No one would, none of us here are normal, though you've only had the chance to see Dravius' peculiar ability, or so I believe," He locked his hands behind his head and closed his eyes again. "Everyone in this place is unique, and very unusual," Raising a hand, the dark haired male greeted Kanec without opening his eyes.

[[Man this forum moves so faaast. Zinc could pop up for you Det~ He isn't doing anything else. Edit: Yay Zinc came out of the closet.]] At first, Spider was utterly terrified of the the enormous animal that climbed into the seat at the table. For a second, he forgot his little promise to himself to stop being wimpy, and almost started freaking out. But the creature spoke and had a nice voice. He was relieved that it was just another shifter. How would he ever tell them apart? There were so many at this circus. With the fear over with he had an intense urge to stick his hands into Kanec's fur. He'd never been this close to a cat quite so big and he was positive that the bigger they were, the fluffier they were. But he resisted. Most animals took offense to that kind of thing anyway, shifter or not. His fork was frozen in mid bite, and he just noticed he was staring, and recovered quickly. "Uh, fine, yes." He rushed, shoving the pancake in his mouth shortly afterward. He again looked at Julian. Spider didn't know what happened yesterday, and decided it wasn't his business anyway. But the abilities... That was true. Only Dravius's disturbing ability and Kioko's fire had been displayed. Spider had almost completely forgotten he was "special" and the thought made him feel warm and fuzzy inside. He didn't even have to worry about whether or not he was moving things without meaning too! Why, he could levitate all the things he wanted here! - - - Zinc bumbled out of the trailer. He wasn't sure who's trailer it was, and didn't particularly care-- he had only been using the closet for a little while, anyway. So tedious, having to use that means of transportation. What was he, some lowly bogart? Sniffing, he wondered how Spider was faring. He'd only left him a little while ago, but it seemed much longer than that. He was about to head on over to the food van-- he smelled pancakes-- but hesitated when he heard the sounds of someone either in pain or crying. Though Zinc relished in making people cry himself, when people were crying and he hadn't caused it, it made his little heart ache. The sound was coming from the truck, and whoever it was sounded a bit surprised to be "human again". Zinc'd be surprised too. Lowly, nasty creatures. Coming around the vehicle cautiously, he squatted down on his haunches. "Everything alright?" he asked the shadows, far enough away that he could make out a shape but not close enough that a startled creature couldn't try to rip his throat out.

Jazz sighed and pushed away her plate after finished about half."Once again I'm ignored? This is getting ridiculous!!"She accidentally had shouted one her really loud shouts."Oops...sorry..."She then mumbled quit, and somewhat shyly. She felt embar*censored*ed about that. She at times hated her ability. She didn't like beign ginored but didn't want to be rude. Ria watched as trees were snapped from where she was.It was getting interesting for her.She hopped down from a rock she had been sitting on.She was relatively nearby and was curious. She kept her distance though and decided to stay low and just watch for now.She knew if she was approached she could easilyuse her ability as temporary defense to flee and tried not to make much noise, but there wasa loud snap froma few sticks she stepped and she flinched for a moment we each snap waiting to see if she was detected yet.

Niamh glanced at the man in front of her. "I don't know..." she whispered, the words rasping in her throat. "I don't want to be human!" A tear dripped from the corner of her eye and down her cheek. It was soon followed by more. Niamh knew she ought to feel ashamed, or even embaras.sed about crying like this in front of someone, but she didn't care.

Nylat quickly ate the rabbit and caught another, eating this one whole--fur and all. She wasn't quite full but at this point, she was too bored to really catch more. And it wasn't like her to get bored of hunting. But it'd been just rabbits for the past while. She wanted to catch something big and challenging, like a moose. But there were no moose here. So that was a denied hope. She laid down, her rabbit pelt under her paw, and flopped over, not caring that it was her scarred side. ~~ Kanec yawned, not noticing Spider staring at him. And he honestly wouldn't have minded if he had. He glanced around, and leapt lightly from his chair, before aquiring a few raw steaks. As he padded back to the table and leapt up into the chair again, his breakfast in hhis mouth, he glanced at Spider and Kioko. "My eating this wouldn't bother you would it?"

Zinc, feeling that is was safe to move closer, did just that. He peered at her out of his nearly glowing silver eyes, eyebrows furrowed in genuine concern. "There there, child. What were you before? It really isn't too bad being one of these two-legged flesh bags... once you get used to it." Zinc could understand her plight, because in reality he wasn't a person either-- or an animal. Or anything a humans brain could comprehend. His own existence confused even him, so he didn't think about it much. He wondered if it would be safe to give the girl a comforting pat, but remained with his hands on his knees. Some people didn't take kindly to strangers touching them, whether they looked like they needed the comfort or not. "I'm sure whatever the problem is, that it isn't permanent." he told her.

[She's acting like a little girl because she's confused. She's actually 19 xD] "Doesn't matter...I can't control it," she sniffed, rubbing one eye. "I'm a menace to myself. Sooner or later I'll just go mad." She sighed and put her chin on her knees again. "I don't know what I am, but I don't want to be it. It's like living in a constant state of limbo, my mind is forever switching from wolf to human." She pulled some hair out of her eyes and traced the ground with her finger. Name: Aicra Age: 17 Gender: Female Appearance: Aicra strikes a very imposing figure, not only with her physical oddities, but with her odd contradictory personality. She is the size of a large housecat, with long gangly legs and a wiry, fit body. Her fur, which is soft and slightly fluffy, is a brilliant lime green. Her underbelly is a darker shade of green. Other colorings include white paws and muzzle, and black ear tips. On her head she has two antlers, both with fours tines. The antlers are a matte black with pale green swirls. On her left haunch is a black splotch of fur that looks suspiciously like a strawberry. Her eyes are dark blue, almost a cyan or indigo color, and large yet slightly slanted. Old/New Member: Old Personality: Most would call Aicra difficult by just looking at her. She dislikes socializing of any kind, and is not afraid to speak her part. But, occasionally Aicra will show a brief flash of kindness, though there is no telling when, or where, this will happen. Ability: Poisonous and acidic blood, as well as poisonous claws and fangs. Crush: Not really anyone to crush on. o-o' Other: She's a feline, and loves waffles more than you. >8u
