Nylat sat up, yawning. She stepped carefully out of her makeshift nest-bed, and groaned. Her side was stiff again. She tretched her front left paw as far as she could, then her back left paw. Shaking, she was content that she didn't have to go another day with a sore side. She looked around her van for a second, thinking. On the inside of her van, the walls were lined with fur pelts. She had never stopped collecting them. And now, the newer ones were stacked in a pile in a corner. No room anywhere. Even the floor was covered. Sighing, she made her way to the door, having decided to not be lazy all day.

She lightly pushed open the door to her van, and jumped out, taking care to shut the door behind her. No matter how small the town, there were always theives. She shook her fur again against an unnaturally chilled wind, and padded away from her oddly designed van. Both sides were covered in a picture hard to define. It seemed just blood-covered teeth and claws, but there was a fur-covered body somewhere in there. Nylat would know. She'd painted it herself.

Glancing slightly to her left, she saw a wolf loping up to her. Rolling her eyes and huffing grumpily, she glared at the approaching creature until it slowed, falling into step with her before she looked away. The wolf didn't leave. Nylat glared down at him again and growled. But, he still remained. Finally, Nylat snapped her jaws quite close to the wolf's leg, and he gave her a frustrated look.

"Kanec, just leave me alone. Please? Its not a good day."

Frustrated, the shifter returned to his 'normal' self, flicking an ear at Nylat, who was half as tall as him. He never understood why she held a grudge against him, especially after he'd killed the wolf that'd almost killed her. Then again, few understood Nylat. He shook his head as she kept walking, and flared his wings, beating them a few times to get airborne. AS soon as he was, he shifted again, this time into a peregrine falcon, and circled above the Circus in lazy ovals.

Nylat, meanwhile, padded up to Raphael and smiled. He was one of the few people she could tolerate. Many others seemed to always find a way to get on her nerves, Kanec included. But, aside from him, the older members didn't bother her. She'd been around them too much for that.

"Well, good morning, Raphael. I hope it's been a pleasent one so far?"

OOC: Don't worry, Chi's not going to go around possessing every other person just for the heck of it xD She's just slightly insane and has a weird split personality ^_^

BiC: Chi was smiling happily, walking through the less-crowded part of the city. Why? Because, Chi hated crowds. All those people bustling around her, bumping into her and accidentally touching her. Chi hated being touched. It felt wrong. She especially hated the strange looks she got from people. Hmmm... They must think I'm creepy because I look weird. Well, that certainly was half of it. She had different styles of black ribbon starting at her wrist and ending just before the elbow. It did kind of stand out in the crowd. And she just acted like a little girl most of the time when she was obviously older. So people tended to think: Nu uh. Insane person. Not going near them.
Don't mind them she told herself... Her other self that tended to be the part that "turned on" whenever she got a little bit angry [no. not another demon thing going on. Not that I was even part of it last time. xD].
Chi found the number of people decreasing by the second as she kept on walking. She saw a huge circus tent not far ahead. Her smile grew wider and she broke out into a run. She had never been to a circus before. She was completely unaware of when any show was, or the fact that the members of this particular circus were preparing to leave that night (or the next day...).
It was then that Chi spotted a couple of strange looking people and random vans... Her eyes grew wide and she felt suddenly like she was trespas-sing on someone's private property.

(( I think... I shall skip posting a new BIO for Alto and just start playing him at random times. But he's going to die off soon too. I feel like playing Silverbane this time. ))

Alto sat in the treetops, yawning. He gazed down at the circus, his head cocked slightly. He slowly shifted into his tiger demon form and he jumped from the tree, landed neatly and quietly on all four paws. He padded into the clearing and sat down, flicking his ears and blinking his blind eyes. It had been a while since he had shifted into the second in command demon. It felt good. He yawned, pearly sharp teeth glinting slightly in the sunlight, and waited to be noticed. It had been an even longer while since he had seen the circus.

There was a snap, much like the sound of a whip, and there in the alley stood three people that hadn't been there before. Two men, and a woman.  The woman had a faintly smug look on her face, and the man beside her looked positively livid. The one between them was slouching, and was dressed in an overly large trench coat. A large sun hat obscured his features, and he moved his hand timidly to push it back. The other man-- who looked more like a boy from his height and his features, gave him a slap. "No." he said, slowly, as if he were talking to a small child or perhaps a dog.

Spider didn't seem to mind, however, and dropped his hand back to his side. "I don't see any tents." he remarked, looking around the dirty alley. They never took him anywhere, and frankly, he was very excited to be out of that basement. He very much wanted to smile, but he'd been told that his smile was a little unsettling, so he hummed contentedly instead. Spider's cousin, Em, smiled at him, and tugged at his sleeve. "We'll get there, I want to make sure you'll have everything you need though..." She paused as she started escorting Spider down the street. "Sera, you did get his things, didn't you?" Her brother, paying no heed to the fact that they were in public and anyone could be watching them, materialized a battered briefcase into his hands. "Yes." he said, smiling venomously.

Em merely rolled her eyes at him, and strode down the street with her arm linked with Spider's. They went shopping. Spider had never gone shopping before, and it took a lot of his self-control to not touch all the pretty and nice things that were on display. Though they were an odd group, nobody gave them a second glance, and Spider suspected that was one of his cousins' doing. Most of the things Em bought were boring, like spare clothes and the like, but Spider enjoyed it anyway. Sera, on the other hand, did not, and could only stand so much of Em's giggling and motherly behavior. "Will we get on? We don't know how long the freaks are going to be in town. Unlike you, I'd like to get this," he gestured vaguely at Spider "Over with."

Spider didn't like to be a bother, he really didn't, but sometimes Sera was a bit too selfish. He didn't ask to leave the house, he didn't ask to be taught something he wasn't good at. It was almost like Sera just didn't like him, which was preposterous. Em waved her hand at her brother impatiently, folding some clothes and sticking them neatly in the one battered suitcase. It seemed that the suitcase could hold a lot more than it was letting on, as Spider was sure he had filled it to the brim before leaving home. Ignoring Sera, Em stood and smiled at Spider. Tentatively, he smiled back, keeping his mouth firmly shut.

Without speaking she gave her odd cousin a hug, and stepping back, she held his hand. "Don't mind him. He's unreliable anyway. Now, I don't want you to miss me too much. I'll always be around if you really need me." And that was that. Spider followed his elders, one hand carrying his over-stuffed briefcase, the other being held tightly by Em. Finally they stood at the edge of the town, and ahead there were tents and vans and colors everywhere. Spiders excitement was subdued slightly, now that he had realized his cousins were leaving him here. He was very fond of them, and he wondered what it was he had done that constituted this.

"Well," Sera said crisply, clasping his hands together. "Here you are, Boris." He sidled up next to his sister, and placed one hand on her shoulder. She looked slightly startled, and gave him a glare. "We may or may not come back to find you in a year." Continued Sera. "Or five. I'll try not to forget." And there was that snap again, and where his cousins' had stood there was now only empty air. The only thing left, in fact, was Em's protest at being zipped away without her consent.  Spider stared blankly at the thin air, and then back at the carnival. His knees started to shake. Spider wasn't sure he was so happy about this anymore.

Um... Kuro, I posted my bio and yet Ariskye's name isn't under the 'New Members' spot on your first post...

Just want to point that out before I posted my intro... If I can think of one...

Dravius Wolfe, the young co-owner of the sprawling circus spread out in a meadow outside of a small town called Kismet, sat in his dark van, looking through one half-lidded eye to the dim window, shrouded with dark cloth, and the weak sunlight that filtered in glinted off of the hundreds of nails studding every square inch of the cabin. The young boy had hardly moved in almost eighteen hours, since the show late last night. He sighed heavily, his only good eye vacant and his now-white hair hanging thickly in his face. Dravius got to his bare feet, carefully navigating the nails, so that they did minimal damage to his feet, although blood did slide down the metal points. Putting a hands gently on the sharp door, Dravius contemplated going out, fingering each seprate nail on the thick, black door.

Turning the black metal doorknob, Dravius squinted in the thick sunlight, moving his bare, bloody feet onto the soft gras.s. He hissed slightly, tugging a stud in his left ear, looking around. Ever since that town about eight months ago, his hair had grown out a stark white, and although he still had black tips on the back of his hair, it was mostly the new color. It also seemed to have had a lasting psycological impact, and he had virtually stopped talking, and the only time the old Dravius could be seen was during shows. His long fingers spun a silver lip ring he had peirced through the right side of his thick red lips, and caught sight of a girl with short black hair looking aorund with what seemed to be wonder. As we watched silently, she seemed to grow nervous about the other members of the Circus milling about.

He strode up to her, all six feet and three inches of him, and said in a tone that was half angry and half annoyed, "Enjoying the show, young lady? I do not belive you are part of this Circus as of yet." His one blue eye flashed, looking down his nose at Chi.

"Never bring that horrid drink here again."

"It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Alto watched Dravius with lazy blind eyes. he yawned, then smiled his tiger smile. He sauntered near them, then stopped, hidden in the shadows. "Dravius...." he purred. "Leave the poor dear some courage." he purred. His purring rumbled through the ground.

((Sorry Dragonstar. I'll correct it immiediately. xD))

Mayanna stirred, listening to the distant sounds of the other Circus members beyond her van walls as she roused herself. Sitting up in a makeshift hammock, she rubbed her eyes and glanced around. Her van, as normal as it was on the outside, harboured what could only be called a minature forest. Vines, beautifully decked with a number of coloured wildflowers crawled up the walls, and the shafts of sunlight filtering through the windows highlighted the gras.sy earth that covered the floor. A couple of small trees resided in pots, and the image was almost surreal as the butterfly made her way to the door.

Opening it, she glanced around at the members already out, waving once at the Ring Master before leaving her van entirely and closing the door behind her. She wallowed in the sunlight for a few seconds, then glanced over at a figure; It wasn't anyone from the circus...

Picking her way over, she could see he looked nervous, and made sure to approach so that he had her in view. Maya immediately noticed the boys white hair and dark eyes... He wasn't normal, that much was certain... Stopping a few feet away, she smiled slightly before speaking in a warm voice. "Can I help you?"

~~~
At the sound of Nylat's voice, Raphael pulled his eyes away from the sky to look at the fox hybrid, a grin on his face. "Naturally~" He replied, placing a hand on her head as a way of greeting.
"You won't have to."
Raphael looked over at Julian when the black haired member spoke, blinking a couple of times before he realised just what he was talking about. Raising an eyebrow, the Ring-Master quickly looked over at Dravius's van, before actually locating the guy himself, talking to a girl that was unrecognisable.
"It's about time..." He mumbled, striding forward.
It had been too long. Dravius seemed to have retreated into a shell no-one seemed able to break, and Raphael had pondered aimlessly over how best to address the issue. He didn't particularly want to push it, but he was worried. Either way, he needed to talk to Dravius, not least because he hated seeing his oldest friend suffer like he did...
The Ring Master placed a hand immediately on Dravius' shoulder as he came to a stop right next to him, ensuring the now white haired male wouldn't immediately retreat towards his van before Raphael had the chance to speak to him.
"Welcome~" He smiled, his eyes focusing on the girl Dravius had previously been addressing. "I'll have to ask your patience... I need to speak with my friend here for a moment-"
The Ring Master faltered at the sound of another voice, one that was all too familiar. His eyes snapped to the shadows as memories as sharp as Julians knives fell on him all at once... Oh great...
Alto stepped out of the shadows, having shifted back into a human. A small smile glinted on his face. he lifted his arms, as if Raphael was going to hug him. "Don't I get a welcome back?" He teased. He dropped his arms and slouched, placing his hands in his pockets. His friendliness dropped. "Long time no see...." He said quietly. "I felt it prudent to inform you that Sara, my lovely friend, died only a few short weeks ago." His face was cold, emotionless. "I felt it was time to return to an old circus I once knew that saved my life, on a deadly cost, once long ago." He sighed.
