Kanec gave a start as Raphael seemingly appeared out of nowhere. And a 17 hand tall horse was not one to scare easily, nor was it a good idea, normally. But with Kanec, he was always careful. Upon realizing it was Raphael that had spoken, he walked over to him, tilting his head slightly. "I seem lost, then, eh? I didn't notice. I was just wandering about, thinking. Nothing to do at the moment." He tossed his head like a horse would. "And what have you been doing that requires you to be wetter than a puddle, hm?" ~~ Fallow, having been lost in her own thoughts, was caught completely off guard when Maya bumped into her. She took a step back to try and regain her balance and, on instinct, she flared her wings, careful not to hit anyone that may be nearby. Folding them again in her sloppy manner, she glanced at Maya. "It's okay. I was always run into before. I don't even mind it anymore." She nodded as Maya voiced her as.sumption. "Yes, I'm Fallow. And no...Haven't been as.signed a van yet." ((Pff. Fail.)) ~~ Nylat laid her head over Dravius's shoulder, whining. She wrapped one foreleg around in a one-armed hug sort of thing, blinking slowly. It was not a moment for words, that she could tell, and she wasn't going to speak. She flicked her tail, remembering days where she'd been Dravius's comfort--the one he'd talk to when he had a problem. She halfway wished it were like that again, but the other half of her didn't. She didn't mind, either way it went, she'd not get carried away on her own train. ((Pff. fail. But I'm braindead today.))

Dravius closed his hand around the rag, sighing deeply, then started to say something before Maya left, putting his hand to his side, and his other on Nylat's head, looping his arms around her neck and pressing his face to her fur, breathing in the smell of slightly damp fur. "It's alright." He murmered, breathing into her soft pelt. Dravius started to cry softly, wrapping his fingers in Nylat's fur, sobbing silently. Sometimes he wished he could do this more often, like he had when he was little. It was weird, how poeple thought that when they got older they couldn't do things like that anymore. Whyever not? Sighing, as he felt Nylat rest her leg on his shoulders, and he wiped his eyes, sitting up. "Yeah, I have a closet." Dravius said to Zinc, raising an eyebrow. "As long as you don't mind a lot of musical instruments. I could move them if you like." He had wrapped his arms back around Nylat's wet neck as he had talked, raising one hand to rub behind her ear. "Oh, or you could stay with Spider. I don't care." Tugging on a lock of hair, he muttered to no-one in particular, "I could use a haircut."

Raphael raised an eyebrow at Kanecs question. "My, my... You must be lost... Did you not see the weather?" He asked, a smile on his face. With a quiet sigh, he pushed himself away from the van, stretching in the process. "Alright... Suppose I should get out of these anyway," He said, tugging on his shirt, before glancing off towards Nylats van. Hmm?... He noted Dravius sat on the roof with the hybrid, then shrugged mentally. Guess he'd have to talk to Nylat later. He looked back at Kanec. "I'll talk to you a little later. I really need to sort things out, what with one thing or another," He sniffed, then waved a cheery hand, before continuing on his way back towards his van. Once he reached it, he entered, not bothering to change his attire despite how wet he was and flopped straight onto the bed, holding a hand over his eyes. Damn... What a day... ~~~ Julian glanced up towards Dravius when the Co-Master spoke, shrugging his shoulders. "Either way, there are closets all over the place," He replied, before snorting quietly. "And that's all you ever complain about," He added, looking back towards Dravius when he spoke of his hair. ~~~ Maya smiled slightly at the girls reply, then sighed, which was promptly followed by a sneeze. Shuddering slightly, she pulled the cloak she wore a little tighter around herself, noting that it really wasn't helping, she seemed only to be holding the cold in. "You should probably head over," She said softly, gesturing at where Julian and the others stood. "Your going to need someone to stay with for a while. It usually helps when you first enter the Circus,"
She smiled, then stepped around Fallow. "See you soon," She said quietly, turning on her heel and continuing on her way out of the Circus camp, feeling somewhat lightheaded and more than just a little shaky. With a small sigh, she glanced up, noting the sudden lack of dark clouds. Well... One thing was improving today, atleast...

[[don't welcome Zinc into your closets. that's just silly. also wow Kuro is like 7 hours ahead of me. D: time zones man.]] Zinc was a bit disappointed in how naturally and okay everyone was with his request for a closet. It's not like he needed just one. He just wanted to make people raise their eyebrows, maybe get a little flustered. But no, they had to take away all of his fun. 'A closet you say? Well sure, come on down!' Boring. "Spider? I wouldn't mind bunking with--" He faltered, staring apprehensively at the cool glare Sh'Yama was giving him. "But you know, on second thought, I love instruments. And I could help you with that." Zinc said, making a snipping gesture and staring critically at Dravius's hair. - - - "That would be fine." Sh'Yama said, not liking the thought of living in such an enclosed space. But it was also a nice, warm, dry place. The chill and the wet was bearable, but when you have the chance to get out of it you might as well take it. "Just any one of them, hm?" It was obvious which ones were free. She examined them, and wandered to one on the right. - - - His own van? New members shouldn't get their own van. Again he was plagued with that rule. That gentlemanly girls separated from boys rule. He wandered after Yama as she looked at the vans, and realized he had left his things in the food van. He wondered if it was too far away... maybe if he concentrated really hard. Squinting blankly for a second, Spider accomplished nothing but looking really silly. Oh well... he'd just have to get them later. He didn't feel like going back that way right now. "So um, I guess I get next door?" Spider wondered why he all of a sudden didn't want to be alone. Just yesterday, he had wanted nothing else than to be left alone in his own "room". Now he wasn't so sure. - - - "Yes, I should think so. After we have made are arrangements, I think we should talk. Get to know one another, yes?" Yama pushed a finger to her lips thoughtfully. "Though a mystery is fine, I think in this case we should clear a few things up."

((Woo! New person on page two! The fooooture! EDIT:: Hehe. Whoops.)) A boy strolled thorough the forest, his almost glowing green eyes looing around. They were flat, for all their bright color, and emotionless. He had a deep purple messenger bag over his shoulder, his eyes hooded as he emerged from the trees to see a looming circus, adjusting his square glas.ses on his face with a slight outward breath. His almost brown-red hair stuck up in the front and back, and partnered with his shortness, lent him a boyish look. Spotting several figures in the middle of the Circus, including a few on top of a colourful van. Coughing slightly, he trotted up to the man with short black hair, and a belt ful of knives, his face completely flat. "Hello. May I speak with the person in charge?" The boy, whose name was Gemini Marks, spoke in a voice that could only be described as monotone, his lips barely moving as he phrased his question. "I have heard that this Circus is rather friendly towards those unsual." Gemini spoke with no pauses, wrapping his long, dark-skinned fingers around the dark plum strap of his bag, and rubbing the side of his face. <~><~> Dravius nodded, and said, "Thank you. I never caught your name, did I?" Tilting his head slightly, he jumped visibly at the appearance of a boy with bright green eyes. He felt he had seen the strange man before, but he just couldn't put his finger on it at all. Maybe from when he was younger. He dismissed the thought with a shake of his head, turning back to Zinc. "Would you like me to get most of the instruments out of the closet before you so in? I'm afriaid some of them would have to stay, as they're kind of heavy." Dravius yawned, crossing his legs with a stretch of his knotted muscles.

((It will. Yus. 8D)) Julian kept his eyes on the new people as they took a look at the available vans, nodding at Yama and closing his eyes for a moment. "Whichever you wish. Your pretty much granted the freedom to do what you want with your vans, so if you don't wish to sleep in it one night," He shrugged, then yawned. He pulled a dagger free of his belt and started throwing it into the air, almost doing it without thought. It was, essentially... A habit. Opening his eyes at Spiders question. "Whatever you wish. Unless you want to share with someone," He smiled slightly. "I'm as.suming Raphael wouldn't be a good choice for you, you seem uncomfortable around our Ring Master. There is also mine, if you don't mind sharp objects," He placed his hands behind his head, closing his eyes again. The weather had brightened considerably, the only leftover of the storm being the now mushy field and wet people. At the arrival of Gem, he opened only one eye, then delibrately walked over to Raphaels van, banging once on the side. With a jolt, Raphael sat up, glaring at the wall of his van, before grumbling and making his way back outside. "What is it?" He asked, coming to a stop by Julian, his eyes landing on the red-haired arrival. "Hm?" He blinked. Julian shrugged. "He was asking for you," Raphael raised an eyebrow.. "Oh?" He murmered "Hello there. Welcome to the Circus," He said, sliding his hands into his pockets. "My name is Raphael, the Ring Master, and you are?"

Gemini looked over Raphael, before saying in the same monotone, "Gemini Marks. I should like to join your establishment." His eyes, though flat, focused sharply onto Raphael, drilling in as he stated his name with cold efficiency of a machine. His almost unnaturally thin body seemed to weigh less than the large bag he carried against his simple black long sleeved t-shirt and jeans tucked into steel-toed boots. "I am one of unusuality, and I have heard that you are accomodating." Gem stated further, examining the tents and vans around him. Looking in particular at Raphael's van, he stated under his breath, "Approximately six hundred." As he had finished talking, he seemed to scrutinize everything around him with an almost creepily neutral ex pression. His face seemed dead, the only part that held a trace of life were his neon eyes, and even those were hard to imagine smiling, or doing anything other than studing.

Nylat sighed at Dravius's comment about his hair. "I swear, the only words I've ever heard come out of your mouth since I met you are 'I need a haircut.' You always need a haircut. Always have. Always will." The hyrbid was not suprised at the arrival of someone else--the Circus always seemed to attract 'freaks'. She remained as she was, perfectly content with comforting Dravius. She had since they met, why would she stop? She was paying little attention to the conversation about accomidations. Unless her name was mentioned, it was likely she wouldn't. So she was lost in her thoughts, keeping her eyes on Maya until she was out of sight, then whining a bit. ~~ Fallow nodded, and started toward the group, arriving just as Julian left with someone behind him, though she didn't recognize him. She didn't speak, as just then, Gale decided to make herself noticed. You should try and get your own van. Why should I be selfish? The girl's eyes again took on the distracted look they had before, when she had been in her last arguement with Gale. It would be better. You'd have more room. To, quite literally, spread your wings. But others might need space as well. I'm not going to ask for my own van just because I have wings. You should. But won't. ~~ Kanec nodded. "Yeah..the weather..." He continued about his wanderings as Raphael left, shifting into a peafowl, his brilliant tail feathers trailing behind him. He decided to make his way to the group that had started gathering, to see if there was anything he could do. It took him a while though, but when he got there, he tilted his head curiously at Dravius. "What're we up to over here, hm?"

((Even more new people! XD)) The sun finally emerged from behind the storm clouds, and began to shine with a vengeance as an older pickup truck traveled the road alongside the forest. Sitting in the bed of the truck, a man with black and white striped hair pulled back the hood of his jacket and turned his face up to the sun, eyes closed. Delicate, thin black lines crossed over themselves repeatedly over his upper face, forming a pattern that began on his forehead, stretched over his eyelids, and ended on his upper cheek bones. He reached out one hand and tapped the back window of the truck, signaling the driver. He waited for the vehicle to stop, them climbed out of the back and waited for the driver to roll down his window before digging a crumpled twenty out of his jeans and pas.sing it to the older man. "Thank you for your help, sir," he told him, shifting his pack onto one shoulder. "I will be able to walk from here." "You sure?" The driver, a generic, plain looking middle aged man asked as he took the money, still eying him suspiciously as he did so. "The only thing around here is that Circus that just set up." The striped hair man gave him a small, polite bow. "I am touched by your concern, sir. But the Majikus Circus is my destination, you see. Thank you for allowing me to ride with you this far." The driver merely responded with a grunt as he shifted gears. "Fine by me. Don't get yourself killed." Was his only parting comment as he drove away. He walked into the woods as th truck drove away, heading for the direction of the Circus grounds. A strange creature swooped into a branch of a tree not far from him suddenly, and he stopped to address it. "Ah, there you are Disera. I had thought I wouldn't see you again for some time." The creature resembled a raven, if ravens were made of dark smoke and had visible skeletons. It hopped off it's branch with an irritated squawk, and transformed into a wolf-like creature before trotting over and circling him once. Done with the inspection, it walked back in front of him and sat down with a huff. "I told you not to ride with that old cretin." "That's very rude, Di. I would have had to walk all this distance if not for him. He was kind enough to give me a ride when no one else would." "Because you paid him for it, Selvai. And he still made you ride in the back. During a rainstorm! You're soaked. You may as well have walked, for all the good it did you. You would still have your money, as well." He simply shrugged at her rant. "But we're at our destination. What point is there in arguing about how we arrived here?" The creature merely snorted at that. "Whatever you say." Dissolving into a cloud of dark blue mist, she reformed as a cicada, then flew onto the man's shoulder and crawled behind his right ear. "I'm going to take a nap," she buzzed. "Don't wake me unless you need me." He chuckled at that, and began to walk toward the many vans and tents of the Circus. ------------------------------ Kioko examined the empty vans along with everyone else, then simply picked one at random. "Um, I suppose I'll take this one if no one cares," she said, gesturing to it. She her bag left in the other van. Now that she had her own quarters, it would probably be best if she moved her things into it, instead of leaving them in someone else's way. "I need to go get my things. I'll be right back," she told the group, before leaving. Walking the path back to the food van, Kioko soon found the van she had spent the night in. Retrieving her bag, she stepped outside and was startled as she nearly walked into a man who had been standing near the van. Stunned, Kioko nearly dropped her bag in the mud, only to have the strange man with black and white hair grab it in mid hair. "I'm sorry," he said, looking down at her. "I didn't mean to startle you." ------------------------------ Selvai offered the young girl her bag back, feeling a twinge of guilt when he noticed how startled she had been. He certainly hadn't meant to scare anyone when he showed up here. Bowing to her, he spoke again. "I apologize again. I didn't mean to frighten you." "I-It's fine," the pale, red eyed girl stammered. Looking at her odd coloring, Selvai wondered to himself if she were an albino, or magic user like himself. It would explain her being a member of this place at such a young age. "Umm, can I help you with something?" she asked him nervously, and he realized he had been staring at her hair. Bringing his attention back to her face, he spoke again. "Ah, forgive me. I was lost in thought. My name is Selvai Mayoso." He noticed the girl inspecting the mark on his face while he spoke. Probably not knowledgeable about magic, then. Most who were would be able to recognize the mark for what it was when they first saw it. "I'm Kioko Fuurin," she responded, eyes still tracing the loops and lines above his eyes. He smiled in what he hoped was a friendly, comforting way. "Hello, Kioko. Sorry to be so forward, but I have a request to make of you. Could you possibly direct me to the owner or manager of this Circus? Or, if they are not available, someone who deals with those who want to join?" She nodded once, gesturing some ways away to another van. "They're over this way," the girl told him, looking over her shoulder at him once as he followed her. The two of them walked past many different vans and people, finally stopping at a collection of bare, empty vans where several people had gathered. "That's Mister Raphael," she told him, pointing out a blonde man with bandages covering his arms. "He's the owner of the Circus. If you want to join, you should ask him." "Thank you, Miss Kioko," Selvai told her. Stepping forward, he bowed to the man she had pointed out. "Hello, Mister Raphael. I have heard that you allow people who are "different" from the status quo to join your establishment. If so, I would like to become a member of your Circus." ((My brain juice is depleted nao. Must sleep x_x))

((:3)) Raphael kept his eyes on the strange red haired being, his eyebrows raised and his ex pression curious. It was in the Ring Masters nature to be able to read people, and although he didn't pinpoint exactly what was unusual about this guy (Minus the looks), he did notice the lack of anything even remotely resembling emotion... No emotion?... What an intriguing thing... "Alright," He murmered. "I think we can do that. May I ask why, however?" He glanced around at the other newer members, before looking back at Gem. "We usually take in those who need it. You seem pretty capable of taking care of yourself," He shrugged slightly. "Either way. Your welcome to stay, if that's what you want," At that moment, Raphael's eyes flickered to Fallow, seemingly off in her own world again. He still hadn't found out just what it was she could do, though he wasn't really all that disturbed. He was pretty sure he'd seen worse. "Fallow, yes?" He said, a warm smile on his face as he glanced at Julian. "Do we have a van for her?" He asked, glancing up towards Nylat and Dravius when the hybrid whined. The Sword Master shook his head. "But we can get one," He looked at Fallow, his dark eyes penatrating under the stark black bangs that hung over them, Raphael blinking in his direction. "Or would you prefer to share?" He asked the girl in his quiet voice. "I'm sure we could place you with someone," As Julian dealt with Fallow, Raphael nodded at Kioko, then watched as she left. He glanced over at the amin tent, then at the sky, trying to deduce the time. Late afternoon, as far as he could tell. The Ring Master then looked back up at Dravius and Nylat. "Are both of you planning on taking part in tonights performance?... And Nylat... Could I talk to you a little later?" He asked, only to be interrupted by another voice. "Hm?" Turning, his eyes focused on another new face, one who was incredibly polite. He laughed quietly. "We do. What is your name, and just what are you capable of?" He asked, before glancing towards Gem. "The same question to you," He added with a curious smile.

Nylat drummed her claws against the side of her van again, keeping an eye on everyone. When her name was mentioned, she lifted her head to meet Raphael's eyes, flicking an ear. She had, luckily, caught what he'd said before. "Oh, no. I don't care to be too stiff tomorrow. I've only just loosened up. And...if you wish to talk to me, I am available." She flicked her tail as someone else came up to Raphael, and ignored him, laying her head down and closing her eyes, It had been a long day already--why couldn't they just get to the performance. Even if she wasn't planning on performing, she still had something to do to occupy herself. ~~ ((Fallow wasn't talking to herself/air. She was thinking to Gale. XD)) Fallow was jerked out of her arguement with Gale at the mention of her name, and shrugged at the question. "I really don't mind whether I share or not." At this, Gale started ranting up a storm, but Fallow ignored her, instead, waiting for what she should do. ((Fail))

Gem brought his slightly creepy eyes back to Raphael, saying flatly, "It is not so much an ability as much as it is an abnormality." Blinking a few times before he continued, "I am incapable of any kind of emotion, both feeling and expressing." Rummaging in his bag, he pulled out a newspaper clipping, holding it up to about Raphael's eye level and asking, "I do hope that this man has left." Clearly residing on the paper was a rather distorted but obviously there Break, and Gemini looked over at Dravius, his eyes widening in the slightest bit. "From the fact that Wolfe is still here, I deduce that he he either left or never came. Very good." At Julian's response to Fallow, he walked over and whipped out a dark purple measuring tape and said to Fallow, looking at her with those strange dead eyes, "Extend your wings, please." While waiting for Fallow to comply, Gem looked over and raked Di and Sevlai, coughing slightly before saying to Raphael, "Black magic, and summoned creature." Turning back to look at the erected tent, saying with his back to everyone, "Others have called me Gem, Gemmi, and Marks. I do not give regard to what I am called." Gem looked back at Dravius, blinking slowly. <~><~> Laughing slightly, Dravius nodded to Nylat, saying, "Well, I don't like when it's in my face. It distracts me. " Then, Dravius thought for a moment at Raphael's question, before shurggng and saying, "Why not? I've nothing else to..." He trailed off when Gemini held out the picture of Break, his forehead furrowing in thought, before he snapped his fingers, nearly yelling, "Gemmi was Break's boyfriend!" Gem turned back to Dravius and noded almost mechanically, extending his tape before snapping it shut with a loud click. Dravius shivered slightly, sliding down from the van to stand by Raphael, rubbing his bad eye hard. "Creeps me out, Raphael." He murmured, sliding his hand over his right arm. "He just always looks at you, with those eyes." Draius added, sliding a blunt iron bar out of his pocket and sliding it in between his fingers. It was true., the man Break always reffered to as 'Gemmi', did scare Dravius slightly, if only because if he wasn't capable of emotion, he wasn't capable of mercy.
