Fallow, not saying a word, shook her wings loose, spreading them, while taking care not to hit anyone. She glanced over her shoulder at the man, wondering what in the world he wanted her to spread her wings for. It wasn't like she was the only one with wings. Gale, meanwhile, was sitting on her head, not even visible to Fallow, but the girl could feel her there. There's something odd about him. No duh. He's here at the Circus, requesting to be a part of it. No doubt he's odd. He did say he was void of all emotion. When? I, unlike you, pay attention. He said it earlier. Forget this. New subject. Why do you never leave me alone? I told you before, I am your spirit guide. I am to guide you. Obviously, you need a map. You never listen. Fallow ignored this comment, waiting for Gale to stop talking, but the bat spirit just continued ranting to her. ~~ Kanec, *censored*uming that everyone was too distracted by new members to see him, shifted into a draft horse again and, with his bad timing, almost got hit by one of Fallow's wings. Jokingly, he called out a suggestion. "Woah, watch where you spread your wings!" Of course, he'd only managed to avoid being hit because Fallow had moved her wing slightly just as he'd shifted. So all he got as a response was a glare. ((Pff. Kanec's making himself unlikeable.XD)) ~~ Nylat smiled at Dravius's response, and shook her head as he wandered off. She listened intently to what he said, and stood, jumping from the van with ease. She looked around, at no one in particular, before dismissing herself. "As much as I would love to stay here and chat, I'm going to be off." She wove around until she was out of the group, and broke into a trot, in the general direction Maya had gone. She knew she should probably leave her alone, but Nylat worried easily, and knew that if she didn't worry, something would happen.
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

Raphael raised his eyebrows. Alright... So he was correct about the whole lack of emotion thing then... "Interesting," He murmered in a barely audible voice. "No emotion, hm?... What a life you must lead... Of course, I'm sure we'd all like to bypas.s the pain of our emotion, but the joy can be worth it..." The Ring Master slipped into a thoughtful silence as Julian tilted his head. When Gem revealed an image of Break however, Raphael's mood changed, if only slightly. His eyes, as they so often did when they laid on the tall, blonde street performer, became irritated. He glanced sharply at Dravius when the Co-Master spoke, Julian looking a little disgusted at the thought. Looking back at Gem, the Ring Master spoke in a voice that sounded exactly the same as previously... Well... To those who didn't know him, anyway. "Your *censored*ociated with Xerxes?" He asked flatly. When Dravius stepped beside him, he looked at the younger male once, then sighed. "Mm. I'm suddenly very nervous." He stated, quite calmly, his eyes on Gem. "Reading people is an easy thing... But with someone who has no emotion, well... And one who has previously been involved with Xerxes no less." He shook his head. "I'm not too happy with this situation... Dravius?... Just what do you know about this guy?" He asked quietly, his eyes still on the green eyed stranger. ~~~ It hadn't taken all that long to reach the town at which the Circus had situated itself, and Maya, on a whim, removed the cloak she wore as she walked just outside the town. She was still very wet, though the warmth of the sun was welcome, flaring her wings in an attempt to try and dry them off... She very much felt like she needed to fly... Damn it. If she'd been born with the wings of a bird it wouldn't be so freaking diffiicult. Sneezing, she folded the material beneath her arm, then came to a stop beneath an oak that resided beside another of the many fields outside town. With a sigh, she threw the cloak on the still wet gras.s, then literally flopped onto it, her blazing orange wings outspread and her hair glinting in the sunlight... It was unbelievable how tired she felt... And with what seemed to be a great deal of effort, folded a slender arm over her eyes, the one uninjured. Her injured arm had started aching, and the slightest move hurt, thanks to the fading anastetic.

Gemini extended his long measuring tape, gently pulling Fallow's wings to their full length and measuring them carefully, muttering the wing length under his breath before turning back to Raphael and saying, "Previously. Xerxes was extrordinairily unpredicable, so I severed most ties with him. I still do keep tabs on him. And do not be nervous." Stuffing the tape measure back into his bag, pushing his glas.ses back up on his face with the heel of his hand. Gem's long fingers dipped into his bag, drawing out several long knives before finding what he wanted. "Pipistrellus pipistrellus. Common bat." Gem said with a slight nod, making a mark in a large notebook he had pulled from his huge bag, with what looked like a pen made of some kind of animal bone. "And I see no reason to posses emotions. The negatives greatly outwiegh the positives." Adjusting the frames of glas.s on his face again, he looked around the Circus, remarking, "I would suggest you put this girl either with someone very small, or by herself, as most of the vans that reside here would not have room for full wing extension and room for another of your or Wolfe's size." <~><~> Dravius sighed and said softly, "Not much, to be honest. He isn't violent though. More intersted in math than he is people, and doesn't care much for money or things, except for that bag he wears. And you know, I never once saw him whenever Break and I went...out to get something." Tugging on a fingernail, the Co-Owner watched Gem measure Fallow's wings. "You might not want to let him get too much information. If he does fight, it's only because he's sure he can win no matter what." Shaking his head, Dravius tapped his chin softly, muttering, "Don't let him build anything, either. He's a little too good at making weapons." Shivering slightly, he watched without another word as Gem marked things in that pad of paper, turning on the spot and muttering to himself. "He didn't have those glas.ses last time I saw him, and his eyes weren't as bright, but Break seemed to be rather fond of him." Biting the side of his thumb, he added after a few seconds, "Gemmi can tell a lot about people from their speech patterns and their looks. It's always been really creepy to me, the way he looks at you as if you were an abstract apinting, and he was trying to see everything that is painted into you, if that makes any sense."
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

[[eck. don't know when I'll be able to post. Hey what do you know, boys outweigh girls now. (basing on the most active/new characters) Girls: Kioko, Maya, Nylat, Fallow, Break, Zinc, Disera Boys: Raphael, Julian, Dravius, Kanec, Andrew, Spider, Gem, Sh'Yama, Selvai .... joking aside. that is 5 girls and 10 boys. And here I was worried before about too many girls... I'm brain dead right now so sorry if I missed anyone.]]

[[man it is like redonkulous to even try reply to people after missing so many posts. so yeah.]] Sh'Yama observed the sudden appearance of a glowing eyed freak, and really, really didn't want to know. She heard the words "Break" and "boyfriend" in the same sentence shortly after she decided that maybe she could hang around for a little while more, and hightailed it to her van, dragging Spider with her. She was so tired. And not only that, but as she waited patiently for Kioko to enter, another one showed up. At least this one was polite. She watched them all... socialize, silently, and tiredly shoved her way into the van, not really noticing she was still pulling Spider along with her. "Huuuuuugh." Yama said, and pulled her damp backpack off her back. "Nice and quiet..." She murmured, throwing herself onto the nearest seatable ob ject and pulling her boots off. Sh'Yama rubbed her eyes blearily. "Is it always like this?" she asked, looking hopeful that it wasn't. Spider shrugged, and nodded slightly. "Urrrnnghhhh." Sh'yama grabbed her bag and pulled her cloak out of it. "Perhaps it will be bearable if it is the two of us..." she said, pulling the blissfully warm cloak around her. "And we... now we can... talk... for..." With all of the excitement, Sh'Yama forgot that she was exhausted-- walking all day and having two tantrums could do that to a person. She was asleep before she even finished her sentence. - - - Spider fidgeted for a moment, afraid that maybe she'd died or something horrible like that. He waited a few seconds to see if she was still breathing and then nodded to himself, puffing out a quiet breath of relief. They'd talk tomorrow then. As quiet as he could, he opened the door to the van and slipped out. It wouldn't be good to bother Kioko by being there when she finally came back. As he squelched back toward the group he realized he was quite sleepy too. But that was probably because he liked sleeping. It wasn't that late already, was it? But time could have gone really fast. He noticed Zinc standing by himself, staring in mild irritation at the group. Spider walked over. "More new people?" he asked, quietly. Zinc glanced up at him in surprise, smiled, and then frowned. "Yes. She sure did drag you off quick enough... what was that about?" He looked back around at the others. The glowy one creeped him out. He couldn't explain it. "I dunno. Probably... the topic of discussion..." Spider mumbled, shuffling his feet. "Why are his eyes glowing?" His voice seemed to get quieter, as if he was afraid they'd hear him from way over there. "I don't know." Zinc said, with obvious dismay. He was supposed to know everything. Spider let it go, however. He didn't know that Zinc was supposed to know everything. "Nobody can make decisions here... stay there, stay here, I have pointy things, he doesn't like you... " Spider sighed. "I don't mind being told what to do... why not just order me around? I'm not used to making decisions..." Spider pulled at his earlobe, and looked nervously at the group, again afraid someone somehow heard him. "People are weird like that. Wanting you to make individual choices and all that nonsense." Zinc patted Spider comfortingly on the back. "No need to get all bent out of shape about it. Since they've made it obvious they don't care, stay wherever you want. What are they gonna do? You may or may not have noticed, but Sh'Yama is a bit of a vicious woman. I doubt she'd let them get away with looking at you the wrong way." "I don't... I don't want anyone to get in trouble... not over something silly. Would she really hurt someone over something little like that?" "Family isn't a little matter to her, Spider. She's always wanted a sibling... and now she's got one." He sighed, hoping her attachment wouldn't cause more problems for the poor thing. "How do you know so much?" Spider asked, a sudden, suspicious tone entering his voice that Zinc had never heard before. Spider was pretty surprised by it, too. Zinc smiled thinly. "I eavesdrop." He said.

[[The short short awful Grayvs summary: Where people would sleep was discussed. Break's creepy glowing eyed ex-boyfriend (Gemini) showed up. Kioko's new character Selvai showed up. Welcoming and being creeped out by Gemini ensued. and then my post which has barely any reference to what has transpired because I am lame. and doh that is who I forgot. *adds Andrew to the list*]]

Selvai cleared his throat quietly before continuing with his introduction. The appraising look the red haired young man had given him was unsettling, but it wasn't in his nature to become disturbed over such a minor thing. "My name is Selvai Mayoso, and as the young man so succinctly stated, I am a student and user of magic, especially those arts labeled as "dark". And yes, I do have a summoned creature as a companion." "Her name is Disera, and she is sleeping at the moment. But when she awakens, I am sure she will be more than willing to introduce herself to everyone here." He continued. "As for my abilities... I'm not sure they count as abilities in the same way as the others here, but I am skilled with magic, and can perform many different feats with it, such as warding spells, summoning supernatural creatures, and countering spells that have been cast on others. Disera is able to shift forms and can sense magic, both by itself and those who are able to use it." He gave a polite bow to the Circus Master. "I hope that we can be useful to you, should you allow us to stay." -------------------- She hadn't been completely sure about brining Selvai to meet the others; after the whole Break confrontation, no one needed more drama right now. But watching him give another small bow to Raphael, she managed to relax a little. He didn't give her the creeps, at least. More than could be said for the other newcomer she had seen when she had returned with her belongings. The bright, glowing green eyes looked like something that belonged in a low budget horror movie, not on a real life person. And the past as.sociation with Break couldn't be a good thing either. Kioko noticed Spider with Zinc off by themselves, away from everyone else. Not seeing Yama anywhere, she walked over to the two of them. Thinking that her sudden departure from the food van earlier may have offended one or both of the siblings, she thought it would be best to apologize. "Um, Spider?" she began. "I'm sorry for just running off like I did earlier. I was feeling unwell, and I needed to get some air. I hope you and Yama weren't offended by it."
"I WISH THAT PUNCTUATION HAD A PHYSICAL FORM SO I COULD SMOTHER YOU WITH IT."

((Nnn... Weddings. ;~; Back soon I guess. T^T... Pfft. So many boys. xD)) With a quiet sigh, Raphael nodded pas.sively at Gem's comment, turning to smile at Fallow as he did. "If it's alright with you, your more than welcome to have a van to yourself," With a stretch, his eyes returned to Gem, his smile giving way to a small frown. He really wasn't sure about this. It wasn't even so much the fact that the guy had been involved with Break... But Raphael had always been able to read people, and because of this persons lack of anything even resembling emotion, he was unable as.sess the guy accurately. It made him edgy. With another sigh, he glanced sideways at Dravius. "It makes sense," He mumbled. "I've done it enough times. Not quite so obviously, though," He paused, an ironic smile on his face, proceeding to hit Dravius over the head when the younger owner started biting his skin. "You should break that habit, I'd rather not have you lose your fingers," He added, looking back towards Gem. Inhaling deeply, he grimaced, then shrugged, speaking to Dravius as he glanced at around at the others. "Guess we'll just have to keep an eye on him, hm?... And sure." He replied to Selvai warmly. With asmall yawn, he glanced towards Dravius again, his ex pression still somewhat confused by Gem's appearance. "On another note, how's the hand?" He asked, rubbing his own shoulder distractedly. Julian, who had been watching Gem with a silent stance, finally ran out of curiousity and strolled over to stand by Kioko, Spider and Zinc, his eyes on the males. He smiled only slightly at them, before sitting on the side of the closest van. "You'll have to get used to it. The Circus doesn't exist for the entertainment of people. It goes quite a bit deeper than that. But yes," He added, looking at Spider. "You have a lot of freedom here... And getting used to Raphael's and Dravius' way of doing things may take time. It's really not that bad, however," He leaned back, his dark haired head hitting the van with a soft thud, his dark eyes thoughtful. He eventually turned to Zinc, leaning a little ways away from the van and resting his wrists on his knees. "So what are you, if not human?" He asked bluntly, an eyebrow raised in question. He was pretty sure everyone by now had deduced the guy wasn't all human, and boredom had prompted him to ask.

((Eh. Not quite night. I don't think. And Sh'Yama is a girl, Grayvs was just messing around. Like Break and Zinc were put on the girls list. XD)) Fallow, snapping her wings shut, shrugged again in answer Raphael. "I really don't mind whether I share or not, though I'd much rather share. I've lived alot of my life alone, and I'd like a change. Anyways, I've grown used to little room to spread my wings. Houses aren't exactly made for the 'gifted'. Either way, i'd be fine wherever I'd be best." ~~ Nylat yawned as she crossed yet another road. She ignored the car horns as a light turned green, and she flicked her tail. One made a move as if to try and scare her off with a 'threat' of running her over. She snorted. Two problems there. One--She'd leave a dent in the car big enough to dent the frame, and the car would be totaled, and two--she could easily repel any car that came at her, if she felt like it. She finished crossing the road and heard multiple drivers cuss colorfully at her because she'd managed to take up all of the green light time, and it was again red. She only grinned toothily. Turning around, and continuing to ignore the cussing directed at her, she continued to wander. She was looking for Maya, yes, but not vigilantly. If she saw her, she'd be happy, if she didn't, she'd worry. It was as simple as that. No freaking out required. She flicked her ears, and glanced around again. She hadn't noticed that she was on the outside of town. She'd only counted the number of roads she'd crossed. Which was quite a few, considering she'd backtracked alot. Finding a rather nice sized tree, the hybrid, in boredom, climbed up to the tallest of the branches that could support her, and laid there, content. A few people pas.sed by and gave her odd look. It wasn't common for a dog to want to climb a tree, let alone be able to. She yawned again, and glanced around. Sudenly, she caught sight of the unmistakable color of Maya's wings. Standing on the branch, Nylat leapt down, and crossed the small road that lay between them, before coming to a stop by her friend's head. Looking down at Maya, she grinned. "Why, fancy meeting you here, hm?"

Andrew found himself intrigued as a boy came up to Julian and started to speak to him in the most monotoned voice that he had ever come across. He tried to guess his age, at first glance he looked like a little kid. But the way he talked and carried himself told a different story intirely, pushing Andrew's curiosity level higher. He was a little surprised when more people showed up at the same point in time, also asking to stay here. A magician and a summoned being... Andrew thought, "Hn." This was getting interesting indeed, perhaps he would stay a little longer and observe the newcomers. But he soon sighed, getting bored as he so often did when he had been doing one thing for any short period of time and disappeared farther into the wagon, into the darkness where he preferred to reside. He wouldn't sleep, he would only rest. He told himself as he leaned against the wall and proceeded to become almost statue like and close his eyes. He slowed his breathing, tricking the body into thinking that it was sleeping. This usually saved him the grief of actually doing that.

[[.... pfft. yeah. woops. forgot my own character was actually a woman. silly me. xD]] Spider was glad to see Kioko again, she looked better now that the strange man was gone. Well. One of them anyway. "Oh? Oh! N-no... I was a little surprised... but not offended." Spider put his finger tips together and nodded. He couldn't speak for Yama though, so remained silent. "I needed some air too... got really crowded all of a sudden. That's probably why I'm still out here. Pretty nice now that the rain stopped." Spider took a deep breath of air and smiled. He jumped when Julian came over. Not that he had been sneaking or anything, but he had been focused on Kioko. Oh no. Had he heard? But he was being so quiet!! Spider made an odd noise in his throat and pulled his sweater over his face. - - - Zinc automatically tried to pull the sweater away, but this time Spider was keeping a tight hold on it. "That's a bad habit, you know." He rolled his eyes skyward but found it amusing all the same, and smiled while shaking his head at the mortally embarra.ssed spider boy. He grinned in response to Julian, and wiggled his fingers in a "spooky" gesture. "I'm the boogeyman. The creature under your bed. The bump in the night." He shrugged a shoulder. "You know the legend, I'm sure. I'm not the oogey boogey, but I am something similar. I thought the need for a closet was a big hint. While we're at it, what're you?" There were the normal ones and the weird ones. Usually Zinc could guess what their mysterious ability was. He couldn't guess when it came to Julian, or Raphael... simply because they seemed to normal and never did anything strange.

"But I'm anxious!" Dravius protested, taking his hand away from his mouth with a slight sigh, adding, "It's fine. Scabbed over." Sighing again, he watched Gem carefully, as the man took notes on anything within his sight, the pen moving faster and faster over the paper. Gemmi wasn't exactly a bad person, or a good person, for that matter. He just went wherever he felt the power was. Dravius remembered him leaving briefly to work for the police, although that only lasted a few weeks, at the most. <~>~<~> Gemini, having finished his inspection of the Circus grounds, closed the book he had been scribbling in and adjusted his glas.ses, which was obviously a habit of his. Catching sight of Spider, a slight look that may have been a spark of intrest showed breifly in his eyes as he hurried over to the boy, bringing his glowing eyes about an inch away from Spider's, and re-opening his notebook. "Strong enchantment, likely ethreal parts, most definitely Achaearanea Tepidariorum, found in attics and garages..." Scribbling furiosly and every few seconds glancing up at Spider, Gem said flatly, "If you could open your mouth, please? I'd like to see if you posses teeth. And specifically, what kind of ghost are you made of?" Catching Zinc's remark about what he was, Gem turned to a new page in his book and began scribbling again. "Boogeyman. Is that the scientific name for your species?" Gem asked, exmaining Zinc's hair before muttering, "Naturally pink, huh..." Gem seemed almost indescisive whether to examine Spider or Zinc first, writing at a mile a minute is extremely messy handwriting, seeming more like just up and down lines than letters. His glowing eyes moved back to Spider, moving closer and gently uncurling Spider's finger's from his sweater. Gem's olive skin was as cold as dipping your hand into a bucket of ice, with short fingernails, and fingers that seemed to have an extra joint. His hands were black in places with ink, and looking over his glas.ses, his eyes seemed to glow brighter, as their flat stare studied Spider.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Raphael rolled his eyes at Dravius' comment. "That's not the point," He replied with slightly raised eyebrows. "And good," He added as an afterthought, his gray eyes following Gem. Anxious, huh?... His presence certainly effected the Ring Master, however dull that feeling was. With a slight sigh, he glanced around, then upwards, his eyes narrowing at the sky. "Mm. We'll be opening soon. Might be a good idea to get things sorted," He murmered, looking at Dravius. "Think you can stop chewing your fingers long enough to help me out here?... Unless you have something better to do," He said, a small, amused smile on his face. ~~~ At Zincs revalation, Julian merely looked curious, his dark eyes on the "Boogeyman". Really now?... What an interesting thing... Chuckling slightly at the pink haired males question, he shrugged, leaning back against the van and yawning slightly. "Human. Most people here are human... In fact, besides Nylat, your the only one who isn't," Rolling one arm, he looked back at Zinc. "We're just unusual," He continued. "Either we look unusual, or we can do things normal people couldn't even dream of,"He snorted quietly, then looked off towards the main tent in the distant, the canvas rippling in the slight wind. His eyes were brought back to Spider, Zinc and Kioko when the glowing eyed Gem approached. He watched, his ex pression not flaltering in the slightest. What a strange person... And that was saying something coming from a member of the Majikus. No emotion was what he had said?... Julian wondered just how that worked... He couldn't imagineliving without emotion, despite the fact he never seemed to have any himself... Whatever. He yawned again, then glanced skyward, his thoughts a mystery. ~~~ Ignoring the constantly growing ache in her wrist, Maya moved her uninjured arm from her face, still sprawled out on the damp cloak underneath the oak tree. Her violet eyes watched the bristling leaves with little interest, her thoughts turning to the fact that she was still wet... With a sigh, she as.sumed she'd probably have to return to the Circus soon. The sun was, slowly, setting, and Raphael had certain requests about when his members should be back at the Circus... Well... Ever since Dravius was attacked, anyway... He deemed it unsafe, which for people such as they, it probably was. She closed her eyes, that one painful memory hitting like a wave. Grumbling at the thought of having to walk back into camp, Maya opened her eyes and her vision immediately became clouded by a fox-like face and two, large blue eyes. She blinked, then frowned. "You know, Nylat... You'd think you were following me..." With another quiet sigh, she pushed herself onto her good elbow, then into a sitting position, shifting so that she could look at Nylat. With the smallest of genuine smiles, she placed a hand under the hybrids snout. "What would I do without you, hm?" She asked, her voice somber, wincing with the pain in her wrist.
