Nylat flicked her tail again, shaking her head. "I'm another mouth the feed, and I'm no help with costs. As far as anyone else...I'm fully aware, but it's you that worries me most. And like I said, there are alot of things to contemplate." She sat up, meeting Maya's eyes, her own seeming to harden a bit, yet soften, at the last statement. "You have nothing to be sorry for. I've been thinking about this for the longest time. But you've brought up another factor in the equation." She stood, and swiftly bounded up the tree to a branch just above Maya's head, and looked down with kind eyes as she laid on it, somewhat suprised that it held her weight. "Of course, if I did leave, I wouldn't do so without extending invitation to you." She flicked her tail. She finally got to the point she'd been wanting to. With a whine, she spoke again. "I told you, I'd never leave you alone. But I'd also never leave without you. You've got ten times the stress on your shoulders than I do. You're in more need of a vacation than I." She breathed in deeply, enjoying the cool night air. She was always more comfortable at night, and was more peaceful and at ease during the dark hours of the day.

Still frowning, Maya kept her eyes on Nylat, her ex pression not faltering as she listened. She did, however, looked shocked at the hybrids suggestion. She was asking her to leave?... The idea was both compelling and impossible... She shook her head violently, then placed her good hand on the tree trunk, her eyes on Nylat. "You... Can't be serious, Nylat... I'm useless without the Circus, you saw me 7 years ago. I wouldn't last 5 minutes away from this place..." And it was true, Maya felt too tied to the people here, and despite everything, she was pretty sure she wouldn't be able to leave Dravius behind, either. She felt again, that tearing of her emotion. She couldn't leave, she wouldn't permit herself to... The world beyond the Circus wasn't made for people like them... Despite how much she wanted away from all this, actually leaving the place just wasn't possible. She couldn't go that far, leaving behind everyone here, even if only for a short time. She leaned against the tree, and sat again at the base of it, staring at the ground. "I can't do it," She said, more to herself than the hybrid as she started tearing up small clumps of gras.s and fallen leaves, her eyes pained.

Nylat smiled a bit, the kind and caring light in her eyes stronger than ever. She started humming a tune to herself, for no apparent reason, and it was a rather calm and peaceful tune. She glanced down at Maya. "Then it's settled. I'm not leaving. And I'm sure you'd survive. You know more now. But it doesn't matter. I won't leave without making sure you're okay, and I'm not comfortable with just anyone there to support you. A dog with their bark is not a dog at all. Without you I am not me." She flicked her tail and continued humming her tune, tapping a claw against the branch alongside her humming. "I promise you, I'm always there." ((*flees from song lyrics* <3))

((Fine, Nylat. THIS is the last post. *Pouts*)) In the middle of tearing a leaf in two, Maya glanced at the hybrid situated above her head, still frowning somewhat. When Nylat said she wouldn't leave, a small, relieved sigh left the girls lips. The last thing she wanted was to lose Nylat, especially at the moment. She dropped the torn leaf, crossing her legs and looking back at the ground as Nylat continued. "I didn't mean it that way," She said, looking up when Nylat spoke about survival. "I just... Can't leave my family here... I'd be no good out there without them," She smiled wanly at the hybrid, then returned her gaze to the gras.s. She listened to her friends little tune, smiling slightly at the last statement that left the fox's muzzle. She sighed, using her good arm to move a mas.s of gold hair away from her face, her gaze falling towards the direction of the Circus. She frowned slightly, then looked back at Nylat, still humming. On an impulse born of her sad emotion, and a need for distraction, she began to sing, her voice not so much taking over Nylats little tune so much as working with it, despite the huge difference in tones. It didn't cross her mind that it was the second time that day, but it made her feel somewhat better, if only a little. Her voice was shockingly clear and soft, despite the quiet volume at which she sang, and the sound echoed every single emotion in that girls heart, her despair and situation clearly stated in her words. The sound was one that would easily have carried over a distance, and had anyone heard, it would most likely have made them sad, moved to tears by the purity and anguish of Maya's heartwrenching melody. Name: Wolf Hill Age: 17 Gender: Female Power: Wolf is able to read the minds around her. She's not only telepathic, but she's also unnaturally skilled in Survival. With strength, speed, sight, hearing, taste, touch, smell, agility, and etc. far more advanced than a normal human being. Occupation: None Born: December 1st Origin: Unknown Skills: Wolf is an amazing shot with the longbow, but her main skill is not in archery or fighting, but in deceiving. With a false outfit and a new name, Wolf is an entirely different person. It's hard to look at Wolf and believe she's the same person. She's also unnaturally skilled with animals, most animals and shapeshifter's taking an immediate liking to her. Personality: Wolf is an unnaturally quiet person at a distance and usually listens rather than speak. But once you open up that touch shell, you'll find Wolf to be not just a loyal companion, but a friendly and curious friend. Able to lighten the mood with a few small jokes. She's incredibly stubborn and is known not to give up easily. She's sharp and quick tongued, with a quick mind to go. But also be aware that she has known the pain of starvation, loneliness, and the death of a loved one. She is not someone you would want to anger. She's a bit wary of speaking of her past and prefers not to speak of it, so very few truly knows her past. She has a temper that's great and once it get's ahold of her, I pity whoever angered her. For they might just leave without their head. Other: Wolf is completely blind. But although she lacks sight, she has incredible hearing ad sense of smell, taste, and touch. She also, over the years, has built up a tolerance to a few lethal poisons. She knows all the small tricks of the thievery trade. History: When Wolf was just a child around the age of 4, her home was burned down and her parents and older brother were killed in the fire. Left without a home and family, she took to the streets and became a thief, skilled in deception. Often heard of, she's known to scale walls and leap across the roofs, chasing her quarry until it's the right moment. Then, she would leap down and land like a cat and begin her show. She's also often known well in the thieves grapevine, known to rally small gangs and lead them when raiding a certain shop or such. In a fight, Wolf is incredibly fast and agile. Not to mention stubborn. Where most would of fallen, she would still stand. It was on the day that she turned 14 that she was taken in bya strange wanderer. He cared for her and talked to her, but what he mainly did, was teach her. He taught her strange tricks, like how to catch fish with her bare hands, or how to hold her breath for over 15 minutes undre the water. He taught her how to live through a feirce winter and how to hunt. Then, he began to teach her how to fight. Wolf, being a fast learner, soon was able to fight against the wanderer, nothing holding her back. And for one who seems so old, he is rather fast and strong. So the day she defeated him, he nodded his head, gave her a small smile, and told her well done. The next day, he was gone. Heartbroken, Wolf searched for him, only to find a letter. "My time with you is finished, for I have taught you everything I know. Know, my child, go and find a place where other's like you live." And thus she did so. She searched and searched, keeping up her reputation as a Thief Leader at the same time. It was then, that she heard of the Circus Majikus. She followed them for some time, watching them and learning about them. Finally, it's come to the day where she's decided to speak to them. Family: None, Deceased Height: 5'7" feet Weight: 140 lbs Stature: Slim with wolf like features, Wolf is flexible and she has muscles that are barely visible, but there, working up the length of her form. Habits: She tends to write small short songs when she is not sleeping or keeping watch. These songs tend to be sad, and slow, but beautiful all the same. She also is unnaturally comfortable with sleeping in a tree and rather than sleep on the ground, she sleeps in the nearest tree, her light form easily held up. But when she is forced to sleep in a house or such, she'll reluctantly do so. Friends: She doesn't have any friends at the moment, but she is unnaturally soft around small children and she is extremely protective of orphans, having been one herself. Crush: She doesn't have one, but she is open. Perhaps.... Raphael? Old/New Member: New member, but I'm an old roleplayer in this RP Appearance This is the best picture I can find of her. I hope to draw her late rin the future.

((Alright. Time skip it is *Hugs Dravvy* Awww. Don't feel bad. D: Wolf, I said follow my bios so it's not so huge. xD Nevermind. <3 And whats with all the Wolves? xD)) ~~Time Skip~~ Raphael had been awake a good hour or so, and he sat in his van with his back to the door, one elbow resting lightly on a small table, his eyes on a number of papers sprawled over the polished wood. Last nights show had gone well, without incident. Yawning slightly, he shoved the pile of paper to one side, then stood and glanced towards the van door. The weather was good, and, exhlaing through his nose, Raphael walked to the door and pushed it open. His mind had been somewhat flightly all morning, he couldn't seem to pin himself to one thought. With a quiet sigh, he stepped onto the field, snapping his van door shut before leaning heavily against it. The field had been cleared last night of the broken candy butterfly, which the Ring Master had questioned with a somewhat perplexed ex pression; Not that he got a reason for there being a smashed confection on the grounds. Julian, who had also been awake a short while, sat just outside his van, his head on his hand and his eyes closed. Raphael, on a whim, stepped away from his van and walked towards the Sword Maste, frowning. "Has Maya still not shown up?" He asked, slipping his hands into his pockets. Julian shook his head. "Nope. Not yet. Nylat's with her so I'm not all that concerned," Raphael pouted. "That's a reason to be more concerned. You know Nylat as well as I do," He was still frowning slightly. He had, last night, wanted to go looking for the girl seeing as she hadn't returned, Julian however, had pointed out that she wasn't on her own, and looking for her would probably just complicate things. With a sigh, the Ring Master looked off towards the other member vans, his eyes unusually wary. ~~~ Sunlight streamed through the many boughs and branches of the surrounding trees, causing Maya to flinch slightly when said light hit her in the face. She raised a tired hand, sheltering her still closed eyes. After a few moments, she finally opened them, allowing her hand to fall to her side. Blinking blearily, she leant forward, then glanced up towards where she believed Nylat to be, still sleeping on the branch some distance above her head. With a quiet sigh, she got to her feet, flaring her wings in an attempt to work out the stiffness. "Nylat?" She murmered, reaching a slender hand towards the hybrid, her eyes glancing at her surroundings. Considering she hadn't been paying any attention to where she ran last night, she wasn't too sure of her location, not that it'd be a problem. It was however, a very pretty sort of place; With any number of coloured wild flowers, joined naturally by the ever present butterflies. The gras.s was a lush shade of green, and the place practically buzzed with life. The place made the butterfly winged girl feel somewhat better. Maya's eyes eventually turned back to the hybrid, a small frown on her face. She wasn't entirely sure she wanted to go back to the Circus yet.

(( Crap! Sorry. Lol I'll get started I guess then. I have no idea. but it's my favorite name, considering it's my nickname on the vitrual world and the real one. )) With a small bl ink of her eyes, Wolf awoke. She yawned and stretched, hitting her head on the trunk of the tree in doing so. "Ouch!" She hissed, sitting up quickly and rubbing the back of her head. She blinked again, then realized that it was morning. She sighed ad yawned again, stretching her legs. She could hear the birds as they sang and the animals moving about. If she opened her mind mor, she would be able to 'see' the world with her mind. But for the moment, she didn't feel like it. She grabbed onto the small branch she had been sleeping on and swung from branch to branch, slowly sinking downwards until she reached the base of the tree. She sighed and dusted the tree bark from her fingers. She felt warm coarse fur brush agains ther leg and smiled and knelt, rubbing her hand through the wolf's silky under fur. She heard a low grumble, almost like a cat purr, and a cold nose butted her cheek. "Alright." She laughed. "Let's hunt. I'm starving." With that, she stood up, and opened the tight fist inside her mind. Colors exploded inside her mind and she viewed the world, a small smile on her face. "it's so beautiful today, isn't it?" She whispered, turning her head and gazing at the sharp black wolf by her side. The wolf turned ot her and blinked it's green eyes. With a small bark, it jumped and sprinted into the woods. "Alright!" She cried, laughing. She set off asprint, moving faster than a normal human. She let her mind range over the wolves that ran beside her and slowly she dropped to all fours. Yet her speed did not decrease, she seemed the become a wolf. Not physically, but mentally. She yipped and growled and a few wolves growled back. A wolf pup, on his first hunt, bounded happily beside the beta's. Wolf growled and snapped at him and he dropped back into his place, smiling sheepishly. As they neared the Elk herd, the pack split, the beta and younger ones going to the west, the juveniles going to the east, and the alphas and Wolf going to the north. As the beta's and juveniles distracted the one buck, a tall twelve pointer with a broken hind leg, the alpha's leaped for his throat. Wolf snarled and lunged, landing on his back. With her sharp nails digging into the elk's flank, she bit down with semi-sharp teeth, tasting briny blood in her mouth. The alpha male lunged and tore open the elk's throat, succesfully killing it. As the elk fell, the alphas began to feed. Wolf joined them, having the special privelage of eating with the alpha's. Slowly, as she grew full, she drew away from the wolves and came back to herself. She grimaced adn tightened the fist in ehr mind slightly, blocking out the wolf minds so she didn't loose herself again. "Raw meat is all fine and dandy, but I have to remember that I am a human. Not a wolf." She muttered to herself. It was easier to loose herself among the wolves and forget that she was human. Perhaps that is why her mother and father, both like her, named her wolf. her mother had been telepathic, b her father had been as shapeshifter, p*censored*ing on the skill of mentally becoming the animal to her. Her brother had been pure shapeshifter and the two had used to play toghether, Tom taking on an animal shape and Wolf reading his mind, becoming that animal mentally and loosing herself with him. her blind eyes saddened and a tear escaped. She sat in the meadow, listening the wolves eating and trying to block out there screams. When they finished, they left one by one. The black alpha male came to her and nosed her gently, thanking her. Then they left, racing away like shadows in the night. Wolf sighed and stood up. She wandered back into the forest, smelling the invisble magical barrier of the Majikus Circus. She stopped at the border, circling it for a while before finally stepping voer it. She flinched as thoughts invaded into her head and she closed the fist inside her head entirely, blocking evyerhitn goff. The colors and images in her mind's eye vanished and she was once again left with only her senses. She climbed into a tree and jumped from tree branch to tree branch, finally stopping in the clearing where the Majikus Circus was. She hid in the shadows of the tree and leaned on the branch, opening her fist slightly and letting the images flood in. She could see two men speaking wiht each other. She had come to learn just by listening that the one was the Ring leader, Raphael, and the other Julian, a rather skilled entertainer. As she listened, she noted the hint of waryness in Raphael's voice. She cocked her head, instantly curious. "I wonder.... What's going on?" She whispered to herself, curious. She was tempted to read Raphaael's thoughts, but that was extremely rude and she didn't like to stand the consequences of him finding out she had read his thoughts.

There was a stir underneath thick black blankets, a thick shock of bright white hair standing out against the dark sheets. A moan escaped as well, as the covers twisted and fell away from Dravius's face as the boy moaned again and rolled off the bed with a yelp, hitting the ground with a thud, and another yelp issued from underneath the pile of sheets, as two males crawled out, one with dark hair and glowing eyes, wearing crooked glas.ses and a button-up shirt with white pants, and the other with white hair, one eye and wearing a pair of baggy black cargos. "Sorry Gem," Dravius muttered, wrapping the dark duvet around his shoulders with a sigh. "No trouble." Gem replied, wrapping a bright green blanket around himself. Both yawning, Dravius opened the shade over the large picture window, squinting in the bright light. "Oh, too bright." He moaned, as Gem winced and crawled under his bed, covers over head. "I do believe I shall rest a while longer." Came the flat reply from under the wooden frame. "Whatever, Gem," Dravius answered blearily, covering his yawn with one hand, and keeping the thin blanket over his thin shoulders, stepped out the door. Coughing slightly, Dravius walked over to Raphael and Julian, poking a hand out from under his dark blanket to wave. Rubbing a brand new set of stitches by his jaw, he withdrew his hand again, asking, "How'd we do?" as he shivered slightly. "So tired." He remarked, pulling the blanket around his chin. "And cold." Dravius added, yawning again, and watching the bright sun with narrowed eyes.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

((As far as I know, Mychelle was having problems with the thread, that's all the testing if I'm right. =/)) Julian sniffed, leaning forward and crossing his arms over his knees, his eyes on Raphael. Eh, the guy really shouldn't worry so much... All this fretting was going to do the blonde no good. Lifting a hand, he rubbed the side of his neck, standing and yawning. "Mm. Stop worrying Raphael," He said in his sombre voice. Raphael pouted some more, his eyes glancing once at the Sword master before they returned to surveying the field. Julian waved at Dravius' arrival, the Ring Master seemingly lost in his own thoughts. With a swift elbow to the ribs, Raphael's eyes shot back to Julian. "Wha-" He paused when he saw Dravius, then raised a hand. "Oh. Morning." He raised his eyebrows at the white haired boy. "We did as well as we usually do... And you shouldn't have come out in your blanket then." He added with a quiet laugh. At that Moment, Julian stepped forward. "Excuse me for a second..." He said quietly, literally dissapearing from where he stood. He was pretty sure he hadn't been seeing things, and when he came to a sudden stop beneath that tree, his eyes narrowed at the girl who stood there. "Hello." He said bluntly. "May I ask what your doing here?" Flopping against Julian's van, Raphael sighed, then put on a dramatic ex pression. "If I didn't know any better, I'd feel like my members were abandoning me," He said, sighing again, in an over dramaticised manner. He ran a hand over his face, then looked at Dravius. "I trust that friend of yours caused no problems for you last night?" He asked in a level voice, his acting air no longer present.

[[Ah. Opera sometimes has issues posting... but yeah that... probably isn't it. wow it is really disheartening to see "no gay people they are cliche" as a rule in a roleplay. I mean... ouch. anyway. post now.]] He was sitting in a chair, a straight backed chair that was somewhat uncomfortable, he thought. In front of him was an old easel, and a sheet of yellowing paper was sitting on it. There was a paintbrush in his hand, and Spider watched blankly as a drop of green paint dripped off the end of the brush and splattered onto the wood floor. Spider wondered about this for a moment, as he didn't recognize where he was. Slowly he realized, that he must be dreaming. He glanced up, slowly. In fact, everything seemed to be moving very slowly in this dream, and it was a bit irritating. His eyes faltered at the edge of the bed, and a strange, horrible fear crept into his bones. Spider wondered why he was so afraid. After all, what was so scary about the bed? It was only then, as his eyes adjusted to the darkness under the bed, that he saw clawed hands that scrapped across the floor, and eyes that glowed dimly. He couldn't be sure if this was what he was seeing, since the mind liked to play tricks... but it was the air of dark amusement that seemed to seep out from under the bed that reinforced Spider's belief that he wasn't seeing things. Spider had never had reason to truly fear anything, except a boot, or perhaps a heavy book being thrown in his direction, and this new fear, this true, horrible fear, made him shiver. And for a moment, he had the odd feeling that he wasn't the one that was afraid-- and wondered, for a moment, if he was even himself at all. But as he wondered about this, fear fading away, Spider's eyes slid open and he stared, blankly, at the floor. - - - Someone was humming, and as he sat up, his hair dangling around his ears and his sweater nearly coming off over his head, Spider stared down at Zinc as he plodded around the van, mumbling this and that to himself as he sang under his breath. With some surprise, Spider realized he was trying to figure out the combination to his suitcase. "Good morning." Spider said in greeting, eyes widening and closing again as he tried to stifle a yawn. "Oh!" Zinc stopped his snooping and shoved the suitcase behind him, only to have it fall sideways and land on the floor in plain sight. He looked up at Spider, wondering for the second time that morning where exactly all of the web decorating the ceiling came from, and waved a hand at Spider. "Good morning. Did you sleep well?" He asked. Of course, Zinc already knew the answer-- and was a bit confused about that last dream. Spider shrugged and with all the grace someone as long and gangily as he could muster, flipped around and with his hands planted on the ceiling, pushed himself back to the land of right-side up. For a moment it seemed as if his feet wouldn't stick on the floor like they should have, but he dropped from the ceiling easily enough and stretched his arms sideways. "Much better than sleeping in a wagon." He said, rubbing his neck.
- - -
Zinc smiled at him, a smile that didn't quite reach his eyes, and told him he should change his clothes and come outside, at some point. Zinc wouldn't blame him if he decided he didn't want to go outside, but Zinc hadn't yet realized that the distaste he felt for this place was not shared with Spider or his sister. Zinc stepped out of the van, shut it tightly, and made to get as far away from it as possible as he noticed Sh'Yama stepping out of her own van, a look of groggy anger on her face. Normally he might have been able to get away, but he had convinced himself that it was going to be cold this morning and his human limbs didn't want to cooperate with him in running away. Sh'Yama deftly intercepted him, not even needing to break into a longer stride. "Good morning, Dreamwalker." Sh'Yama started, her voice thick with sleep. The slight cynical twitch of her lips did nothing to quell Zinc's fear of her this morning. Zinc was a bit surprised when her long, cloak draped arm wrapped around his shoulders. Air hissed through her teeth and she rubbed her eyes with her other hand, as she tugged Zinc around and started walking him out towards the trees. She said nothing else as she started walking purposely away from the vans, dragging Zinc with her. Sensing a quick and painful death, Zinc tried to convince himself that he was something that wasn't fleshy, weak, and ridiculously pathetic. "Problem. We won't be having problem. Ss." Sh'Yama continued, sleepiness still evident by her slightly slurred words and disregard for grammar. "You understand?" Her eyes turned on him, slightly narrowed, but the puffiness of her eyes and the cowlick dangling in the middle of her forehead made it a bit hard to take her threatening tone seriously. "Well, I should think so. But I'm not sure what you mean by "problems". I a.ssure you, I wouldn't anger you on purpose." Zinc said, a sickeningly sweet tone to his voice as he resisted the urge to push her hair out of her face. Realizing a little slowly that Zinc was talking to her as if she were a child, Sh'Yama jabbed him in the chest with her finger. Usually a harmless gesture, but Sh'Yama had very sharp nails, and Zinc yelped despite himself. "No problems, pet of that man with the woman name! Or the pet of his sister? Arrogant woman. You see how she dress... dresses? What kind of mage wears such clothes? No wonder girly named boy think she is so foolish!" Again, despite himself, Zinc let out a high-pitched giggle that dissipated into painful whining as Sh'Yama pinched him. "Aaai! Okay, no problems, and I'm no pet. What do you take me for?" Instead of verbally responding, Sh'Yama gave him a cool look, from his intricately decorated boots to the top of his pink-haired head. One eyebrow rose. And she turned away and stepped away into the trees, a flicker of a grin on her face. Zinc stuck his lip out in a pout and pulled self-consciously at his hair, but inwardly shared Sh'Yama's grin. She was such a fun woman, as long as she wasn't tearing your liver out and eating it in front of you. Quite fun. Dravius grunted good-naturedly at Raphael's remark, smiling at his drama. "No, no-one's abandoning you, Raph." Shivering again, Dravius looked around, spotting Sh'Yama dragging Zinc around by the neck, and he laughed slightly, sneezing afterwards. "Ah, Gem was fine, he's a sound sleeper. He's still sleeping, actually." The Co-master said, twisting his back to produce a series of sharp cracks, sighing in pleasure. "He'll probably end up setting up his harp later today, so that's that." Cracking his knuckles, the male continued cracking nearly everything possible, from his bare toes to his jaw, and when he finished, yawning again. "Mmm. That felt nice." He said absent-mindedly, his wide eyes hooded. Scratching a set of wounds near his bad eye, Dravius said slowly, "I much prefer cold to hot. Much nicer. When it's hot, you get drowsy, but cold always wakes you up." Shaking his head, Dravius shivered and said, "I'm going to get dressed." Stepping back into his van, he noted that Gemini was in fact constructing a harp in the corner, fitting long tubes from his bag together to form the frame of the instrument, and carefully stringing it, he glas.ses slipping down on his nose. Pulling on a bright red shirt with printed stitches around the waist and chest, he shivered and slipped on a pair of red and black shoes, tieing the white laces quickly and sloppily, and leaving, closed the door softly, strewtching his arms above his head. "I might head into town." Dravius remarked to Raphael, pulling the sleeves of his shirt around his wrists. "I'm running out of guitar strings."
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."
