((Pfft. Thanks Gravee~ <3 Woo~ If you switch the M and Y in Maya's and Yama's names you get the other. xD)) Raphael continued towards the vans, his hand still firmly on Wolf's arm, almost feeling the weariness that emanated from the blind girl. She clearly wasn't well, that was certain. As soon as they reached the Ring-Masters van, he gently sat the girl outside before dissapearing into it. It didn't take him long to re-emerge with a glas.s of water and a pill of some sort. Raphael handed both to the girl before speaking. "Take it, it'll ease that sickness of yours," He glanced over his shoulder, noting the blazing red of sunset as the sun slowly descended. He then looked back towards Wolf, an eyebrow raised. "Just what have you been doing?" He asked, unsure of whether or not the Magic of the Circus could have caused her lapse in health. He doubted it though, seeing as she seemed to be no-where in the vicinity when they stopped, which only left whatever she had been doing previously... Unless, of course, it was a normal illness, which he also seemed to doubt. Call it intuition. ~~~ Maya had still been watching the Ring Master and Wolf when Yama spoke, and turned back just in time to listen to the tall womans declaration of what she was likely to do once she caught her cloak thief. She raised her eyebrows, glancing at Kioko, before watching Yama leave with a somewhat concerned ex pression. She craned her neck slightly to follow Yama with her eyes. Blinking, she pulled her gaze back to sand in front of her feet, putting a hand on the back of her neck before looking at Kioko. She was about to ask how the girl was when Dravius spoke. She didn't bother to point out that a walk had been why she had headed down here in the first place, glancing at him with an unreadable face before turning to look back at the vans. "I guess," She replied quietly, looking back towards him at his second question. "Mm... We havn't been here all that long," She added with only the smallest of fleeting smiles, looking off towards the ocean, now brimming red with sunset. "Alright so far though, I suppose,"

Wolf grimaced and swallowed the pill, chugging the water greedily. When she was finished the whiped her mouth with the back of her hand. "I was sleeping and I lost myself...." She whispered. she shuddered. "One rule I shall let you in on about telepathy is that, whenever you sleep, remember to close your mind. Or else, your mind and body will become not your own, but the earths." She shivered and her face visibly paled. "It's like being a puppet. Unable to control yourself or even your thoughts. Only able to watch and listen....." She whispered haorsely.

((Runnin on a summary here. Sorry if any of this is off.)) Nylat shook her head as she sneezed again, before nodding. "I'm fine. Caught a slight cold. But I'll live. Been through worse. Anyways, must have been a funny joke, yes? You may have to tell me later." With a smile, the hybrid leapt smoothly from the van, flicking her ears back. She wanted to go join Maya, but also wanted to go swimming. Deciding upon the former, since she'd probably swim that night, she nodded. "I'll let her know." She started off at a slow walk, before picking it up to a trot. By time she reached her normal position at Maya's side, there was a clear path of where she'd been. Of course, the hybrid had arrived just a bit too late, and had been off in her own thoughts, and therefore had not caught what Dravius said, nor Maya's answer. If she had, things would have taken a much different turn of events from what did. She glanced up at Maya, grinning. "Spider says hi. And I say 'Hello there.'" ~~ Tara glanced up, jumping a bit at Julian's sudden appearance. "Oh, I'm not intending to avoid everyone, personally. I just a few loose ends to tie up in my hobby before I take a break. That and, well..." She held up her right arm. "Before this came around and hit me hard, I used to love to swim, but now...I'd rather not. Its a bit harder these days." ((for Kanec, Ima have to actually read what's gone on. Braindead.))

((Oh gosh Momo. Alright. Very basic... xD The Circus is taking a week long vacation. They're currently at the beach, have been there only a few hours now, its currently sunset. Uhh~ Maya, Dravius, Kioko and Nylat are on the beach. Yama's gone off to look for her missing cloak, Spider and Zinc are just outside Spiders van. Raphael is outside his van with Wolf, who isn't feeling too well. There's a few new characters, but not much has happened with them yet. xD))

[[No recaps, go back and read 40 pages. D:<. No but seriously. AND MAYA YAMA. DUNDUNDUN.]] "Such a Saint, Mr. Dravius. Yes, let us kick her out so she can prey on other people. Someone who is taken in to such a place and continues to cause trouble... frankly, do they even deserve to live?" At this point, Sh'Yama was already examining the "patchwork" van from a distance, and Dravius was not in ear shot. But she liked hearing herself talk, a bit like Zinc. Of course, she was probably more pleasant to listen to. Or at least, more amusing. "Meh meh meh, mah mah mah, excuses excuses! The priorities of some people! This place needs better policing. I wonder, is that an available ti tle in this place?" She rolled her eyes and abruptly slammed her fist into the door of Mordecai's van. It was just the start of knocking, but her irritation caused it to be a little more like a ram being slammed into the door. "I need to speak with the small midget Mordecai concerning a certain thieving red-haired creature!" She attempted to open the door, but it was locked. Yama knocked a few more times, ignoring the growing dent that was producing. She smelled something. And it smelled an awful lot like fear. The sun was going down, and that put her in an even darker mood. She'd rip that girls head off and throw it at Dravius just to prove she could catch her before the sun went down. She had a few minutes. Hadn't he said something about a back door? Yama stopped knocking, and crossed her arms over her bare midriff, and listened. She'd hear him. And then she'd vault over this blasted piece of work and wrestle the little twerp into the ground. That certainly wouldn't be a hard task. - - -
Spider waved at Nylat as she plodded away, amazed and frightened by the grace of something so big with four legs. He wondered where Kanec was and if he was feeling tiger-y again today. That had been quite a sight. Spider brushed sand off of his legs and looked at Zinc, who was talking to himself, again. Spider didn't know what he was saying. It went "blah blah blah Me, blah blah I, blah, fabulous" or something like that.
"Do you think Nylat would like chicken soup? That makes colds feel better. I remember I had one once." He recalled it faintly. He had been cured by chicken soup and a lot of cough syrup. Maybe too much. That stuff sure made you sleepy. "She'd probably rather tear off your head and drink what comes out." Zinc said, standing up and brushing sand off of his rear. "I'm tired of sitting here. Go to the beach. You can pick up rocks or something. Maybe shells? Lots of shiny things." Spider wondered if Zinc was confusing him with a magpie, but stood up anyway. "No water." he said, scowling suspiciously. "Of course not, Cl--, Spider dear!" Zinc abruptly grabbed Spider by the back of his coat and started dragging him down to the water.

"It is a very pretty place, isn't it?" Dravius sighed, taking a few long steps away from the Circus, smiling slightly in the growing shadows. A whistling wind swirled through the beach, kicking up loose sand and stirring the shallows of the rippling ocean. It certainly was peaceful tonight, the sun painting streaks of bleeding orange and purple across the sky, a full, round moon hanging in the night sky. Dravius squinted into the darkness, where a bright, if small, pair of green lights flashed rapidly in the darkness, seemingly searching the beach for something. If you listened, there was a string of numbers drifting out over the waves, a seiries of ones and zeros, disjointedly strung together in spoken binary, with a pause every so often, and the ones and zeros would start again, bouncing across the sand and dancing around Maya and Dravius. "What's that?" Dravius asked, tilting his head. "Or who's that?" He added, pulling the tie from his hair and running his fingers through it. It was oddly soft once he m*censored*aged the slat out, smelling like the sea and a mixture of blood and chocolate. "Almost looks like Gem, the way those lights are positioned, and the colour, don't you think?"
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Félix slowly banked to the left, arcing closer to the shore. 'Mmm...what have we here?' he said softly, hovering just above the water close to a few of the odd people. Tilting his head questioningly, Félix gave a grin, somehow forcing a smile onto his craggy gargoyle face. -- Jesca leaned over Félix's shoulder and looked at the people cautiously, a worried look overcoming her face. 'Who are you?' she asked, giving a small blush. I should probably try to be more forewards, she though with a sigh, and leaped off Félix's back gracefully. 'I...err, am Jesca Aiye. This is Félix Lefevre. Uh...do you mean us any harm or...?' She wrapped her sweater around herself more tightly and shivered as the cold seawater seeped through her jeans, even though she had rolled them up before climbing onto Félix's back. Kioko barely had time to nod an affirmative to Maya's suggestion before she had to run after an irate Yama, who was now putting dents into an unlucky van door. "Either her legs are too long, or mine are too short," Kioko thought tiredly as she caught up to her. Bent over, hands on her knees as she panted, the pyro silently hoped Yama wouldn't lose her temper and attack this Mordecai or Heather over the stolen cloak. She really didn't think she could beat Yama in a fight, short of setting her on fire. And Kioko had a feeling that would just make her mad. "I think you've scared him," Kioko pointed out unnecessarily when she straightened up. Stepping between Yama and the abused door, she knocked softly on what was left of it. "Hello, Mordecai? We need to speak to you about Heather. Could you come out for a moment?" ----------------- Selvai stepped forward when the gargoyle spoke, making sure he was within range if his spell became necessary. "This is the Majikus Circus, although we are taking a break from performing at the moment. I am Selvai Mayoso," he introduced himself, noting the worried look on the girls face. "As far as I know, no one here means to harm you in anyway. We were simply enjoying a day at the beach." Noting the girls shiver, he stepped back to allow her to leave the water. "Would you like to come to shore, Miss Jesca? You seem to be chilled."
"I WISH THAT PUNCTUATION HAD A PHYSICAL FORM SO I COULD SMOTHER YOU WITH IT."

"Alright," Raphael replied somewhat uncertainly to Wolf, raising an eyebrow in slight confusion. "I'll be glad I'm not a telepath, then, but I suggest you follow those rules if this is what it does to you if you forget," The Ring Master looked away from the blind member of the Circus to watch as the beach began to empty; The members making their sluggish way back to the vans, and settling on the fields in chattering groups. One member had even started what seemed to be a rather large fire, hidden from view of the town, at which a large number of people had gathered, talking and laughing. Raphael smiled slightly, then turned his grey gaze back to Wolf. "It might be a good idea for you to get some sleep. Just remember to close that mind of yours before you do," He said as he scratched behind an ear, turning back towards the beach at the sound of a scuffle and blinking as he saw Zinc dragged Spider off towards the water. "Oh dear," He murmered with a slight smile, before walking away from his van, no particular aim in mind. The Ring Master had been simply walking the Circus grounds, talking to the members in pas.sing when he came upon Mordecai's van, Kioko, and a very irritated looking Sh'Yama. He waved off the member he'd been addressing, then spoke to the taller female over his shoulder, his eyes both curious and amused. "Something wrong, Yama?" He asked, turning to face her as he looked at the patchwork van, watching Kioko knock on the door. "Heather?..." He mumbled, raising an eyebrow, before sighing and roughly running a hand through his hair, speaking with a note of clear exasperation in his voice. "Dear me, what has she taken this time?" Damnit. He really needed to deal with that girl, and he was probably going to have to do it soon, before Yama got a hold of her, preferably. ~~~ Yawning, Julian sighed, then focused his dark eyes on Tara as he listened to her talk. He raised an eyebrow, then looked off towards the Circus camp, crossing his arms over his chest. The fact the tall Sword Master was wearing nothing but black was making it increasingly difficult to see him in the quickly fading light, and he figured it might be a good idea to get within range of the van lights, if only to stop anyone walking into him. He wasn't fond of people invading his personal space, delibrate or not. With another sigh, he dropped his hands to his pockets and spoke, not bothering to move his gaze away from the glowing vans. "Hobby?" He asked, glancing over at the girls laptop, before focusing his vision on her arm. "And what exactly is wrong with your arm?" He added bluntly, loosening one of his ever present daggers from his waist and throwing it into the air in a very offhand sort of way. ~~~ Having been staring at the moving tide of the ocean, Maya hadn't noticed Nylats approach, and jumped slightly at the sound of the hybrids voice. She frowned over her shoulder, crossing her arms behind her as she turned to face the fox. "Hello, Nylat," She replied with a slight smile. She watched the hybrid for a few moments, then turned her head to watch as Dravius headed off across the beach. Biting her lip, she sighed through her nose then crouched in front of Nylat, running a slender hand under the hybrids muzzle. "I'll be back," She said softly, lifting her hand and scratching the hybrid behind the ear before straightening herself up. The teen then followed after the white haired Co-Master, her wing tips brushing lightly over the sandy terrain as they fell simply down her back, seperated only by her mas.s of golden hair. They almost seemed to mimic the exact hues of the stunning sunset; The fading sunlight itself causing the wings to blaze in a vivid medley of colour, seeming almost to be set alight, and that permeating glow lasted even after the sun had finally set. She kept her eyes firmly on the sand in front of her bare feet as she walked away from the Circus, replying to Dravius' first statement with a somewhat evasive "Mm,". She did, however, look up at the sound of another voice, blinking at the pinpricks of glowing green in the distance. The name "Gem" caused her to glance sharply at the Co-Master, then start to tug at the gauze that bound her wrist in a nervous manner. "I suppose," Was all she could say to the white haired boys last question, her usually vibrant voice devoid of any real interest. She still found herself feeling somewhat uncomfortable around the glow-eyed Gem, and as such, had done her utmost best to keep her distance from him over the past few days. Crossing her arms over her stomach, Maya looked off towards the ocean, noting the reflection of the moon some distance out and chewing on her lip, throwing a furtive and nervous glance in the direction of those blinking lights.

Kane stayed in teh shadows of the trees, his black clothes blending perfectly in with the dark leaves. His eyes stared out a tthe beach, watching the members of the circus with a flickering smile. It entertained him to watch other's confusoin and distraught. But it also irritated him when they became to emotional. He noted the one girl at the beacha nd his eyes narrowed slightly. Some part of him, the probably more sain part, yearned to go up to her, acting a regular person on the streets, and talk to her. Another part of him, the less sane part, wanted to explore her dreams and twist them, watching with glee as they molded like putty in his fingers. He decided, for once, to go with the sane part of himself. He jumped down and strolled onto the beach, walking along the water line, his bare filthy feet being washed clean by the salt poisned water. it was cold, yet pleasantly soothing. "Got something on your mind miss?" He drawled, taking on the stance of a teenager who looked slightly drunk. He lolled his head in a curious way, but his sharp quick eyes made him look like a bird watching it's prey. He checked himself mentally and, satisfied that nothing of him showed what he truly was, he turned his attention back to the girl. She was beautiful in every aspect and it knocked his breath away slightly. Which suprised and irritated him. He didn't know petty emotions like love. He waited for her to respond, curious as to how she would act to his drunken like facade. ~~
Wolf nodded, then sighed and leaned against the door of his van, listening to the world. When she heard Kane speaking to Maya, she felt a small shiver of absolute pure fear worm down her spine and it made the sweat start on her forehead again. Never. Ever had she felt fear like that before. It was pure utter fear. Not the mild fear most people experiance. No. This was something more and much more terrifying. She got up, greatly disturbed, and she skirted a few vans, getting closer to the beach. She hid in the shadows and listened to them. But the closer she got, that worm of fear knawed harder and harder at her until the animal instincts that all humans have buried deep within them kicked in. She backed away until shewas at a better distance. But the constant feeling of fear lingered. This man, whoever he was, was dangerous. That was clear. What also was clear, was that Maya was in possible danger.

Nylat, once Maya had walked off, finally got ahold of the situation and smiled, turning sharply as she walked and angled for the water. She found a rock that jutted a few feet out into the waves, and leapt up on it, letting a paw hang limply in the water. She sneezed, then laid her head on her other paw, which was crossed infront of her. She flicked her tail, enjoying the growing dark that came after the sunset and before the moon got high enough to illuminate everything. She always cared more for nighttime. She glanced back, over in the direction of Maya, being as protective as usual. When she caught sight of the guy nearby, she tensed, growling a bit. But she stayed where she was, which was a little ways away, probablky out of earshot. But she was ready at the slightest movement from him. She trusted few nowadays. ~~ Tara had long since shut her laptop, taking a break from trying to hack the site. Every time she closed her eyes, numbers and letters would play themselves in front of her. She'd much rather it than what used to display itself, but it still got on her nerves. She sighed, glancing over at Julian when he asked about her hobby, staying silent long enough, trying to find an answer, that she decided to reply to his second question first. "Well, its a long story, actually. But I was born with a disease that's constantly weakening me. When I was younger, my parents actually managed to delay it by taking me to a doctor almost daily. But, as soon as they found out about my 'gift'--through a slip-up of my own--those visits ended, and the disease caught up with me. It's made my right arm useless for carrying anything for great lengths of time, and it sends jolts of pain through me every now and then. But I've gotten used to it. I barely notice it any more." Still unable to find and answer about her hobby, without making her sound like a troublemaker, she decided to be as blunt as possible. "As far as my hobby goes, its merely just hacking sites. For fun, not to cause trouble. I've never really had a reason to hack a site. Well, until recently, that is." ((Zinc has a bad outlook, hm? Nylat wouldn't tear anyone's head off and drink the resulting fluids unless they were messing with Maya. ;D))

'Yes, please,' she murmured listlessly. She stepped forwards but still managed to keep her hand on Felix's back, her pale hand running over his midnight scales. Pale blue eyes glinted from under thin black eyebrows, flickering from side-to-side as she took in her surroundings. She knew she probably didn't look much like a threat, even dressed up in all black and hiding her face under a hood. She sloshed through the water towards the shore, hesitating only slightly when her hand left its comfort spot on Felix's neck. 'Majikus Circus?' she asked a few moments later, squeezing the last of the sea-water from her jeans and rolling them up again. 'It sounds different from normal circuses...' ~ Felix rumbled his approval at Jesca's attempt at being less shy. He twisted his head and stared at the boy who had graciously moved to allow Jesca to step onto shore with flashing red eyes set deep into his craggy face. The sea-water rippled when Felix slinked forwards and stepped onto the hard wet sand. 'Excuse me,' he rumbled, and moved apart from the others. Water flew everywhere as Felix shook himself vigorously, a ripple of pleasure shuddering down his spine as he dried himself off. [I will finish. Gotta take the cat to the vets. e.o]

"Ah, he can take care of himself," Dravius shrugged, walking backwards so he could loo at Maya, but every so often he had to look back to prevent himself from tripping over a rock, or a bit of driftwood. Sighing, he blew into his hands in the steadily cooling air, rubbing his palms together. He had a slightly dreamy ex pression on his face, shoving his hands into the pockets of his pants with a slight sigh. "I get the feeling that you don't like Gem. No one really does," Dravius murmered, tugging on the short sleeves of his caution tape shirt, coughing slightly. Dravius looked mildly surprised when Kane ambled up, narrowing his eyes at the boy's seemingly drunkenness. Dravius could detect these things quite well, having seen many a drunk try to worm their way into watching the show, and something about this didn't seem quite right, and he was deely suspicious of people who just showed up places when they weren't particularly wanted, and he said smoothly to Kane, "I'm sorry, sir, but what is your business here? If it isn't anything important, I'd ask you move on and leave us be." Dravius's voice held a steely, almost angry note, as his ice blue eyes bore into the boy, his arms crossed defensively.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

(( He he.... *evil* ))
Kane's eyes narrowed only slightly. He slouched his shoulders and shifted onto his other hip, his head lolling. "Who are you to tell me what to do?" He slurred. His hands inside his pocket's were white fists. One was curled around his knife tightly. The sane part of him was slipping away. He gripped it tightly, refusing to loose himself yet. He glared drunkenly at Dravius, then turned back to Maya. "A pretty girl like you shouldn't be out here at night. Scary people are about." He said witha d runken chuckle. And for a second, his sanity slip and a sadistic smile threatened to show. But he grappled it back and the moment vanished in a bl ink of an eye. But someone nearby trained to sense these things felt it. And she felt absolute fear. ~
Wolf raced towards them, ignoring the thirll of pure fear racing through her. "Maya! Get away from him! Now!" She cried. Fear was surging through her, almost stopping her heart as it raced through her body and sped up her heartrate. She dropped to her knees, taking shallow short breaths, eyes wide and pupils tiny. She placed her hands on her head. "STOP IT!" She screamed at Kane. ~
Kane sighed and the facade disapepared. He stood up straight again and his hands exited his pockets. His eyes became sharper and his mouth curved into a wicked sadistic smile. He glared at Wolf. "You brat." He hissed. His smile grew as she dropped to her knees. He took a step towards her, relishing her scream as he amplified her fear. "Does it feel good? I don't know. I haven't felt it for a long time."He sneered, the sadistic smile widening. he took another step towards her and she dropped, writhing on the ground, clutching at her heart. It was racing as fast as a jack rabbit's heart when it was terrified for it's life. He licked his lips. It was all fun and games until they died. Then he had to find someone else to play with. ((Oh yeah. He's sadistic. But don't worry guys. He actually does have a human side to him. it's just buried deep down inside him, where only Wolf could reach. ))

((Your characters always seem to be tied to eachother in some way, Wolf, and... my goodness, you like to make them suffer. o_O Also. Your controlling fear there. xD)) "It's not that I don't particularly like him..." Maya murmered, tearing her eyes away from the ocean to look at reversing Dravius, the image giving her a strong sense of Deja vu. She cleared her throat quietly and looked away quickly, her eyes once again finding the moons reflection on the rippling surface of the ocean. "He just, makes me uncomfortable," She shrugged as though that explained everything. Which, in a sense, it did. She couldn't really say anything else about it, because she wasn't entirely sure what it was, not really. It was just one of those unexplainable and probably unfounded feelings you could sometimes have towards someone without really needing a reason. With a quiet sigh, the butterfly-winged teen brought her eyes back to shore, again watching where she put her feet, her golden hair shading her face and reflecting the glowing moonlight that now bathed the beach. She paused, glancing quickly over her shoulder at the sound of an unfamiliar voice, her eyes narrowing. Seeing as the teen had been following Dravius at a distance, she found herself considerably closer to the stranger, and took an immediate step backwards the moment her eyes landed on him. Like Dravius, she noted the unusuality surrounding the guy, and she quickly as.sessed he probably wasn't what he appeared to be. On top of this, there was an almost unnatural fear making it's presence painfully known, and Maya was suddenly, desperately tempted to just run away from the guy; Despite the fact it almost felt like that deep seated fear would simply follow her wherever she went. "Yes. I know," She said quietly in reply to the dark males words, her voice betraying absoloutely none of the fear she felt. How ironic, and here she'd thought Gem was one to worry about... She faltered when Wolf appeared, watching in silence and flinching visibly at the girls screams, feeling unable to really do all that much. She wouldn't hold out long against the guy, most likely... She shook her head quickly, then did something quite unexpected, and probably very stupid. She figured, somehow, a distraction would do to loosen the guys grip on Wolf. She lifted a palm, holding it in a way that seemed almost as though she was about to blow a kiss. With a sharp intake of breath, she blew sharply, and a huge cloud of multi-hued powder flew directly at the males face with incredible speed, very much the same way a fire breather would do. It should serve to temporarily blind the guy. Such powder could be incredibly irritating when directed specifically in one place, especially with the eyes, and with luck... Would distract him long enough to allow Wolf to atleast get a hold of herself... ~~~ Gently placing the dagger back onto the belt around his waist, Julian kept his eyes on Tara as he listened to her in silence. A disease, hm?... That would explain the reason she evaded his question back in the forest two days ago, it was afterall, somewhat personal. He sighed, then slipped his hands into his jacket pockets, glancing at the ground. "I see. That can't be an easy thing to live with," He glanced towards the vans before continuing. "We do have specialist healers here, ones who deal more with magic. Perhaps they can help you," He mused quietly, his eyes unblinking. With a shrug, he sighed quietly, then raised his eyebrows as he looked back at Tara. "Hacker?" He blinked, frowning slightly. Well... There were weirder things, he supposed... He lifted one hand out of a pocket, scratching his temple with a finger, before exhaling through his nose and starting to walk towards the ruddy glow of the fire that had been created by a few of the Circus members back towards the vans. "It might be a good idea to head back," He said without looking over his shoulder, his voice carrying over the sea breeze that skimmed the fields. "I don't think you'd want to be out here when night falls completely,"

"It is, quite different from a normal circus," Selvai answered the girl. "Mister Raphael is the Circus Master, and he and his Co-Master Mister Dravius formed the Majikus Circus to help those of us who are different from the rest of society. So everyone here has some sort of unique ability." "It's quite alright," Selvai told the gargoyle, stepping back to avoid most of the water droplets. He had relaxed slightly, although he still watched the creature from the corner of his eye. The two of them seemed not to know anything about the circus, so it was unlikely they had come here to join. "I'm sorry to pry into your personal business, Jesca, Felix, but unless I'm mistaken you haven't intentionally sought the circus out, have you? Do you mind my asking why you chose this certain beach to land?" He noticed the young girl squeezing sea water from her soaked jeans, and mentally smacked himself. She was probably chilled, and he was standing her questioning her. "Ah, you appear to be cold, Miss Jesca. I believe some of the members have started a bonfire on the beach. Would you like to warm up, and try to dry your clothes?"
"I WISH THAT PUNCTUATION HAD A PHYSICAL FORM SO I COULD SMOTHER YOU WITH IT."

Dravius glared deeply at Kane, opening his mouth to shoot some entierly viscious comment at the other, but his eyes widened as Wolf interuppted, flingin herself towards them, but sank to her knees and began shreiking.Dravius looked slightly bewildered as Kane's entire act was dropped, and he began doing only-god-knows-what to Wolf, his eyes narrowed again, the ice blue in his eyes darkening to something stormy and almost feral. A breeze stirred his loose hair as a slow growl curled from his throat, his long fingers hooking into something akin to claws. Dravius blinked quickly as Maya sent a wave of glimmering powder towards Kane, his eyes widening, and he began chewing almost frantically on his lip, shifting from foot to foot. It looked as if Dravius was applying every muscle in his body to not begin attempting to tear this stupid, cruel man apart, muttering something under his breath, before his head turned sharply, and his muscles grew even tighter as the twin lights from the distance approached, the sound of spoken numbers growing until the lights rested on Kane, sending small, oval-shaped bits of light raking up and down him, and the numbers changed to deep muttering, about sadism and cruelty, and mostly about insanity. It was indeed Gem behind the lights, blinking quickly, which made his glowing eyes appear to flash. Gem kept his eyes open while he muttered at Kane, his fingers twitching over the camera in his hands, filled with pictures of fish, and one of Yama. Gem tilted his head at the screaming Wolf, and his muttering petered out, simply staring at Kane. "Over...loaded." He muttered, the lights that were his eyes seeming to dim, and then brighten again with twice the light, aimed solely at Kane's face, light strong enough to make any human reel.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."
