((Aw. I almost cried in the middle of clas.s. T.T Takes a bit thar, too. I'll post what I can in ten minutes.)) Nylat flicked her tail, rolling over, before realizing that she was rather close to the edge of the cliff. With a start, she scrambled to her feet, appearing much like a small horse in her haste. She snorted at the thought. Horses were not meant to lay down and sleep. So clumsy in getting up. She glanced down at the beach from her vantage point. The previous night she had decided to take the vacation to its limits, and sleep outside. Then, she'd proceeded to work her way to the top of one of the bordering cliffs, before falling asleep, about as soon as she had laid down. Now, she carefully picked her way back down, finding a quicker way down than up, now that there was light. As soon as her paws hit sand, she borke into a full-out sprint, slowing only slightly as she approached the small group forming, sliding a bit as she stopped. For the first time in a while, she felt as if she could run forever. Worry was no longer a weight on her shoulders, or was at least lighter. She would never stop worrying. But it seemed as if sleeping outside had given her a great deal of energy. She pranced around in a circle, her ear pricked and a smile plain on her face, a genuine smile. "Mornin, all. How is everyone's morning and how did we sleep?"
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

"Oh, nothing," Dravius responded to Raphael with a slight smile, the cormers of his mouth curling almost unnoticeably. "Its just that I'm fast running out of anything resembling medical supplies," He added, coughing slightly into his elbow, tapping the black gauze around his neck. "I'm down to coloured bandages," Looking away from Rapahel as he asked his question, he bit his lip contemplatively and said slowly, "Not much to talk about. But I don't mind," Dravius stepped out of the shallow water, slipping his shoes back on and yawning in response to Maya's, covering his mouth with the back of his hand. "I really don'r remember much. Don't know what you'll get out of it, Raph," Squeezing the water out of the hems of his pant legs, Dravius looked steadily at Raphael, his bad eye looking straight through the other male, as he crossed his long arms loosly, a slight grin still tugging at the corners of his lips, almost absent-mindedly. He seemed distracted as he tapped the heels of his feet on the sand, humming a cheerful tune softly, coughing every so often, reamrking, "Well, I'm getting sick again." "By the way, was my coat okay?" Dravius asked, directing his question towards the yawning Maya, a slight smile reappearing on his face. "I haven't worn it in forever," He coughed, putting the back of a hand to his mouth. "I'm going to have to go back to bed later. I don't want to get too sick." Coughing again, Dravius closed his eyes and shook his head, curling and uncurling his fingers as he coughed again, sniffling. ((Aw NUH! No crying!))
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

[[I wouldn't throw you off a bridge, Kuro. Probably Zinc. But seriously. next person to be suicidal gets murdered.]] Exhausted to the point that he couldn't even look terribly frightened, Spider moved his head, his brow merely furrowing as he looked up at Julian. "Uh?" He asked, blinking, and then looking at Sh'Yama. "Oh... I don't know. I never asked." He poked the fabric with one long finger, and shrugged. "Sentimental value? Maybe it's just really comfortable. You'd have to ask her. I doubt it's a big secret." He wouldn't recommend waking her up just yet, though.
Spider rubbed his eyes, and mumbled something about sore feet. "How long have you been here, Julian? Because so far, Sh'Yama doesn't like it. Does that wear off?" Maybe if you got over the initial shock of being stuck with a bunch of freaks forever you just go numb to it. Spider's biggest disappointment was that it wasn't fun. He had had high expectations for the Circus. Maybe Sh'Yama and Zinc were disappointed because they didn't have any expectations.

Raphael raised his eyebrows slightly, smiling as Dravius half-heartedly complained about his lack of medical supplies. "That's easily remedied. There are stores in town," He replied with a slight smile, watching the Co-Master emerge from the ocean. His smile slipped only slightly when Dravius answered his other question, and he exhaled slowly through his nose. "I didn't think you would. I still want to talk to you about it," He frowned slightly. "I need to know if theres any chance of this happening again. Do you want to know what happened?" He asked, glancing at Maya, who was busy yawning again and had no time to retort. "And your forever getting sick," He added with a smile, before turning to look at the oncoming Nylat. "Morning to you too~" The Ring Master sighed, then stretched, looking out across the rippling ocean with unseeing eyes. He doubted Dravius would lapse again, but it was better to be safe, he supposed; Or atleast, get some insight so he'd better understand. At his question directed at Maya, Raphael raised an eyebrow and looked at her. "Uh, yeah. Fine," She replied with a fleeting smile, blushing lightly and becoming suddenly very interested in a plain gray beach stone, using a finger to trace curving lines in the sand. ~~~ "I see," Julian replied, his eyes on the snoozing Yama, his ex pression more curious than it had been previously. "Of course she doesn't like it. If I'd just joined, I wouldn't like it either," His face darkened somewhat as he glanced off towards the ocean, his eyes a mystery. "The Circus has had a bad week," He smiled slightly at Spider. "I've mentioned it before. It's not usually this hectic, we happened to have more than just a bit of bad luck lately," He shrugged then, and crossed his arms. Well, now that Break was out of the question, they shouldn't need to worry for a while. A long while, hopefully. ((Such a crappy post. Buttt I need to go to college. :D See you soon~))

Jesca shivered and opened her eyes blearily, the night before coming back to her slowly. ‘Agh, Felix, where are we?’ she muttered grumpily, crawling from underneath the gargoyle’s wing. Swiping the yellow sand off her sweater and jeans the girl prodded the sleeping dragon roughly. ‘Still on the beach,’ she muttered more to herself than anyone else, sweeping her eyes across the landscape. To her left was the bonfire’s site, the old ashes gently drifting through the air as the sea wind picked up. A gust of cold wind nearly knocked the slim girl off her feet. ‘Crap,’ she muttered anxiously, hugging her sweater around her more tightly. Her shoulder-length hair whipped across her face as she crouched down by the old fire site, watching the sea silently. ~ Felix sighed impatiently and stood, the fine sand trickling out of the chinks in his scales. ‘Morning grumpy,’ he said happily and his rough gla.ss-breaking voice, touching her arm gently with his tail. Sitting on his haunches the gargoyle looked eerily human, with his two arms resting on his knees and wings folded in to keep the wind from knocking him off balance. A pair of crimson eyes gave Jesca an amused look.

Kioko woke up in the same position she had spent most of the night in, curled up with her head resting on her knees. Not the best way to fall asleep she realized as she turned her head slightly and winced at the soreness. Slowly and carefully uncurling her limbs, Kioko winced at the stiffness in her arms and legs before she scooted to the edge of the bed and scooped her shoes up from where they were strewn across the floor. Shoving her feet into the sneakers, Kioko stood up and tried to smooth the wrinkles from her clothes and then raked her fingers through her hair. She probably looked as bad as she felt, but Kioko didn't particularly care at the moment. She was stiff and groggy from her awkward sleeping position, and her eyes felt puffy and swollen from her crying fit the night before. Rubbing at them, Kioko debated simply staying inside the van all day. If she wasn't curious about Yama's whereabouts and the fact that it appeared her bed hadn't been slept in, the white haired girl would have stayed in the van and avoided the rest of the circus all day. But worry over her friend trumped her own unhappy mood, and she trudged to the van door and yanked it open, wincing at the sudden shift from dim interior light to bright sunlight. Pulling her cloak hood over her head, she went in search of Yama, keeping to herself as she walked along the beach. She came across both Yama and Spider on the beach, Yama snoring from under her cloak while Spider and Julian spoke. "Morning," Kioko offered quietly when she drew closer to them, head bowed under the hood. --------------------------------------- "You're getting lazy, Selvai," Disera groused at the still sleeping magician. With an irritated huff, she leapt from the floor onto his stomach. The impact drove the breath out of his lungs, and he bolted upright, gasping for air as his eyes snapped open. "Wha-" he coughed, eyes still blurry from sleep. Managing to draw in a lungful of air, Selvai's blurry eyes focused on the large creature sitting on his midriff. "Good morning, Disera," he wheezed cheerfully. "Is there a reason you chose to wake me up like this?" "It's morning. What more reason do I need?" "Point taken." He waited for her to move back to the floor before sitting up. "I suppose it is time to wake up." The sorcerer changed clothes while Disera paced impatiently in front of the van door. "Huuurrryyy, I'm bored," she fussed. Selvai finished lacing up his boots and smiled at her. "Well, I'm dressed now..." "Finally," "...although, it's been quite awhile since I reviewed my spell books. Perhaps I should look them over before I do anything else today." "...I will bite you, magician." Chuckling, Selvai pushed open the door and allowed Disera to trot out in front of him. She shifted forms once she stepped off the last step, shifting into a ferret. "I'll be in the forest if you need me," she told him as she scurried away. Selvai watched her leave, then strolled down the beach, nodding to various members as he pas.sed. "Good morning Raphael, Dravius, Maya, and Nylat," He greeted when he approached the section of beach the four of them were gathered at. "Mister Raphael." Selvai stated when the pleasantries were over. "Julian as.sured us last night that it was nothing to worry about, but I wanted to inquire as to who or what was screaming in the forest last night. It was quite unsettling for some of the members, and the volume of the noise injured Felix's ears. If it is going to happen again, I feel he should be warned to avoid any further damage."

Jesca looked up at the members gathering around and got up swiftly, clinging to Felix like he was the only thing keeping her from dying or drowning as they walked over to them. 'Hello,' she whispered shyly to Raphael, Selvai and Diresa, a flush spreading across her cheeks and turning them pink. ~ Felix let out a small rumble of welcome, scratching his injured ear gently. 'I would like to know that as well,' he growled after a moment, though he didn't seem to angered by the event. 'It's rare that anything or anyone can scream loud enough to injure my ears from that distance.' Sticking a claw into his large bat-like ear he scratched off a bit of residue blood that had dried in there over night. Giving the blood an irritated look his long black tongue flickered out and sucked on it gently, wiping the ivory claw clean.

Raphael had been smiling sedately at Nylat, when the arrival of Selvai caused him to glance away, raising his eyebrows at the magician. "Good morning~" He said in his cheerful tone, his voice betraying none of the uncertainty he felt at Selvai's question. He couldn't full well explain while Dravius was here, unkowing himself just what had been the core cause. He inhaled slowly, glancing in the Co-Masters direction before smiling back at Selvai. He didn't have much time to answer, seeing at that moment Felix and Jesca chose to approach. "Oh, hello there," Maya, still having been focusing most of her attention on the sand in front of her, looked up sharply at the magician when he asked his question, before frowning at Raphael. The tall blonde caught her gaze, then waved a hand and evasively answered. "I don't think you need to be concerned," He said with a smile, glancing between Selvai, Jesca and Felix. "I don't believe theres all that much chance of it happening again. You needn't worry," He smiled warmly, before looking back in Dravius' direction. The kid probably deserved to know what happened, and he and Maya only knew. He frowned slightly, then sighed and stretched. He'd be told, eventually. Maya, by this point, had returned to staring at the sand with a firm and unneeded concentration.

Felix looked over his shoulder at the butterfly-winged teen and his ex pression softened. 'Why's she so sad?' he asked Raphael softly, his gaze flickering back towards the illusionist. Curling his ridged tail around his paws slowly he gave a small sigh. 'That girl looks like Jesca did the night I found her. Like something had happened to someone precious to her. I don't mean to be nosey but I hate seeing people down like that,' he growled in a low voice, claws digging into the sand as the memory came back to him.

Nylat glanced up at Selvai's approach and nodded to him. "Morning to you as well." With that, she turned her attention to Maya, sitting in front of her and watching her with needless focus. Her blue eyes seemed to bore into her,but the hubrid was smiling a bit, unable to shake her re-found energy. She flicked her tail over her paws, tilting her head slightly. The sneezes and sniffles from the other day seemed to have disappeared. And they wouldn't be missed. "So, Maya, what's on your mind? I know there's something, so don't try and deny it." Her eyes shone with not just curiousity, but knowing. The firmness that flitted through her voice showed that she wasn't going to let this go. There were a multitude of things that could be making their way through her friend's mind, but she doubted it was something she was aware of. ~~ Kanec padded around the vans, making sure to not leave a bit of area un-stepped on. He had no idea why, but he wasn't going to swim. Yet. The water would still be cold from the night, and he preferred to not swim in water half-iced. Flicking his tail, he flicked an ear. He was one of his usual--a tiger--but he was debating on trying out new shifts. After all, it was the perfect chance to maybe try out a sea monster.

Dravius grinned at Maya's response, nodding slightly before bringing his attention back to his older friend, yawning before answering, "I suppose. But that town still creeps me out." Shivering slightly, he waved to Nylat. "I don't think so, as long as I keep myself aware of what's happening. I snapped," Dravius explained, rubbing his jaw contemplatively. "I would like to know what happened, though. I hate having blank patches in my memory. It's pretty annoying," Dravius sneezed, nodding slightly to Selvai and the others, his eyes widening at their questions. A bright red tinge crept across his cheeks, crawling down his neck and to the tips of his ears, and he coughed deeply, burying the bottom half of his face in his sleeve, edges of red highlighting any scars on his face and crepping downwards as he tried to staunch the bright red away from his face. "Sorry, that was me," Dravius waved a hand at the wrist, his cheeks still pink as he frowned worriedly. "I hope I didn't hurt you too much. Are you alright?" He asked with a tilt of his head, a worried expressio in his good eye as he studied Felix. "I didn't mean to. And no, I don't think it'll happen again, although I'm still smelling rotten fruit,' Dravius stuck his tongue out in disgust, sneezing again. Scuffing a foot on the sand, he looked at Jesca and Felix and said, "Actually, I don't know if we've met. I'm Dravius, the Co-Owner of this Circus. Pleased to meet you." Bowing his head a bit to the two people he didn't recognize, and turned away to cough, shooing a fly away from his face, with a slightly amused smile twitching on his lips.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Jesca swivled her head around to look at Dravius with a look of consternation on her face. 'You were the one who screamed last night?' she asked, her voice slightly skeptical and filled with a healthy amount of sarcasm. 'I mean, you really scared some people.' Giving a small frown the girl tugged her hood back up and stepped closer to Felix, a chill sweeping over her.It shouldn't be possible that one could scream like that. It just wasn't...possible. ~ Felix nodded agreeably. 'Hello, nice to meet you. I'm Felix and the rude one is Jesca.' He gave the man a smile and held his paw out in greeting, wondering if the man was brave enough to take it. After all, it didn't look so safe to grab hold of a giant clawed hand studded with multiple sharp bumps, an unfortunate trait of his kind.

Mentioned it before and over and over. Week gets worse and worse and worse. Felt like months of torture. Spider decided not to say anything out loud, however, as whining like that didn't even deserve a response. So Spider sighed, nodded and dropped his head onto his knees. "Bad fortune... shouldn't have to rely on luck." He mumbled, sleepily.
Spider's head jerked back up at Kioko's greeting, and he rubbed his eyes in a fitful, almost exasperated manner. "Good morning, Kioko." he said, promptly. And then he realized he hadn't exactly greeted Julian, and felt guilty... but then, he hadn't really either. So Spider decided that was fair. "Did you sleep okay, Kioko?" Spider didn't know what had gone on yesterday night, and had spent a majority of it running circles on the beach. He hoped Kioko was feeling better than he felt. - - - Zinc was lurking. He was absolutely drained. Ugh, last night had been horrible. No interesting dreams to but in on. Everyone seemed keen on making their own nightmares. Zinc was trying to push the events of last night out of his mind, lest he throw up his hands and leave this place for good. He hadn't yet gone looking for Yama and Spider, but he'd seen them a half hour ago, jogging in a wavy circle a ways down the beach. He was sure they were fine.
It had come to his attention that he didn't nearly eavesdrop on the others enough, probably because he loathed them, and was taking this opportunity to listen to them without making himself known. It was easy enough. Most of the time they didn't notice something dancing naked right in front of their faces, so he doubt sitting archly a bit away from them obscured in shadow would get him any attention.
He did make comments to himself, though, and couldn't help but roll his eyes at Selvai. What a square. Man, if he got any more posh and sober, Zinc was gonna throw a rainbow at him.
