Dravius cracked a smile, although not a mean one, at Spider's distress. "I tend to become more formal when I'm apologizing, Spider. Why would calling you 'Mister' make you feel bad?" Turning to Julian, he laughed quietly, saying, "Whyever not? I feel bad," Lengthening his stride to match Julian's, Dravius walked beside him, chewing on the skin beneath his right sleeve, grinding his sharp teeth together repeatedly. Looking up when they arrived at the large pharmacy, Dravius nodded quickly, taking his wrist away from his mouth for long enough to say, "Thanks," Trotting inside the doors, Dravius walked quickly down the aisles, collecting armfuls of gauze, antiseptic, and plenty of other medical supplies, murmering, "'S a shame they don't sell anesthesia..." Balancing piles of things on top of his arms, Dravius approached the counter, shoving the heap of purchases over the counter at an elderly clerk, who looked past the pile to watch the strange white-haired boy, who seemed to be chewing not only on his sleeve, but on the wrist under it. "Quite a lot of stuff you have here, young man," The teller said, calmly scanning the large mountain of medial supplies. "Oh? Oh. Mmmhmm. I work in a circus, and people are always getting hurt,"

Recieving an odd look from the man behind the counter, Dravius shifted uncomfortably, chewing more swiftly on his wrist until an audible, if however quiet, ear was heard, and the already red sleeve of Dravius shirt grew wet and heavy. Muttering a quiet swear, Dravius shoved the amount owed to the cashier and gathered up the things he had bought, dragging them out the automatic doors and shaking his hand.

Julian had been staring down a number of locals who had been giving him funny looks when Dravius entered the pharmacy. It was to be expected, he supposed. It was, afterall, very hot, and he was now stood with his arms crossed, wearing his usual black leather jacket. He wasn't really all that uncomfortable, though clearly the people here seemed to think otherwise.

The Sword Master had barely had time to lean against the pharmacy wall when Dravius re-appeared, carrying an armful of supplies and more. He scratched a brow with a middle finger, standing away from the wall and looking between the Co-Master and Zinc.

"Mmm. Perhaps, Dravius, it may be good for you to head back," He glanced pointedly at the equipment the younger male carried, his eyes flitting to the boys now obvious wrist wound. "No doubt walking around with all that is uncomfortable, and your hand needs seeing to. Doesn't Raphael keep telling you to keep your wrist out of your jaws?" He asked with a crooked smile, before glancing off over his shoulder incuriosly. It was a good point. There was that, and then the fact Dravius' nervousness in this particular town far outstripped his own agitation, no need for the kid to suffer if he didn't have to; Besides, it seemed pointless to have both of them tagging along here with Zinc while the bogeyman looked for dyes and dresses.

[[torn between laughing at Julian or worrying for him.]]

 Spider mumbled something as he watched Dravius follow Julian, and turned back to Kioko. "Oh... she was just upset. There was a weird girl following me around in the dark. A suspicious... girl. Uh. Sh'Yama got a little angry. She thought she was gonna hurt me and then I thought she was gonna hurt her... I intervened and Yama chased me around... in... uh, instead. Yeah." He said, rubbing his palms together and shrugging.

"Don't know why she was so on edge, but then, I don't know what happened at town and... weird stuff is always happening anyway. I can just guess it was not good." Spider sighed loudly. "But I'm okay. And I think she'll feel better when she wakes up. Might wanna find her something to eat though..." He trailed off and stared blankly towards the vans, the gears in his head very slowly turning. The food van was down there somewhere.

"Wouldn'... mind some... hmm, french toast sounds good." Sh'Yama said, groggily from her place on the ground. "Food, then more napping." She continued, suddenly sitting up and clipping her cloak on. "So I wont be too tired to punch that Spelter in his stupid face when he gets back." Sh'Yama finished, with some bitterness, as she got to her feet.

- - -

With one final goodbye to Spider, Zinc skipped after Dravius and Julian, an "eee" of excitement barely suppressed. Walking in to town didn't create horrible feelings of out of placeness or nervousness in Zinc. Because, Zinc liked attention, and therefor, weird staring and such only increased his mood. Jeez grinds his teeth like Sh'Yama does when she sleeps... Zinc couldn't help but constantly give Dravius looks of disapproval when he wasn't whistling at people on the street or returning dirty looks.

He was mostly disappointed in Dravius for being nervous. Because that wasn't suspicious or anything. It was bad news when the stupid little pointy-teethed kid was getting more attention than he was, that's for sure. As Dravius walked into the pharmacy, Zinc was very reluctant to follow. He hated how those places smelled. Noticing some of the overly nosy patrons glancing at Julian, he decided to voice their question: "Aren't you hot?" Though, it didn't sound like much of a question. Something about the way he worded it and his rather wide grin made it sound like a declarative statement.

Zinc was wondering how uncomfortable Julian would have to be made before he lost his cool and ran back to the Circus, when Dravius walked by with supplies. He stared at Dravius's sleeve and made a face. "Ew." Was all he said about that, and he put his hands on his hips and decided to look preoccupied with the nearby wall to keep from saying anything else. He should be on his best behavior... or at least, almost best behavior today.

His preoccupation with the wall was quickly replaced by rapt attention to the current situation when Julian told Dravius to go back. He also somehow had a change of heart, and his look of disgust was replaced with (faked) genuine concern. "Yeah Dravius, I mean what with how nervous you are and astlay ightsnay events. You should really get that bandaged, you poor, poor dear. Go relax, it is a vacation after all."

"Yes, he does," Dravius answered Julian quietly, shifting from foot to foot while looking at the ground. "I need something to do when I'm nervous and don't have an instrument, though," A slight smile flashed across his face, as he pulled his sleeve over his palm, staining the tips of his fingers red. Dravius smiled again at Zinc's blunt, ew, but his smile was brief as Zinc seemed concerned. His ex
pression went south as he frowned deeply, his eyes hooded as he looked at the bogeyman. "I get the impression that you belive I'm stupid, Zinc," Shifting the things he had bought from one thin hip to the other, his face critical.

"Alright, Julian. Although I'm reluctant to leave you with Zinc, I need to get this stuff back." Waving a hand at the wrist, Dravius turned on his heel, a roll of gauze wobbling unsteadily on top. Coughing slightly as he went off, Dravius sighed deeply, weaving around staring people, his eyes fixed on the tall stack of things, narrowly avoiding several collisions on the way back, making it almost all the way back to the beach before catching the black lace of his shoe on a root, falling forewards. Dropping overything, Dravius turned and used his ingured hand to stop himself from hitting the ground, anding up on his hanuches, with a pile of medical supplies littered around him. "Uch." He grunted, piling his things up again and heading into his van, tucking the supplies into each one's place. Stretching, Dravius took off of his shirt, wrapping his still bleeding wrist and curling up under his thick black blanket, coughing loudly, and shuddering, falling alseep almost immediately.

"There was a stranger following you around last night?"  Kioko asked, chewing on her thumbnail nervously.  "That doesn't sound good,"  she mumbled, almost too low to hear.

"I don't know what happened in town either," she continued absently.  "It guess we're lucky we missed it.  Everyone was worked up when they came back..."  The memory of Dravius from the night before loomed in her mind suddenly, and Kioko's mouth went dry.  "So, yeah.  I'm not all that hungry right now, but I'll go with you and Yama to get breakfast if you want."

---------------------

Selvai watched without comment as Raphael and Dravius spoke at a distance, and noted the sober look the Circus Master had cast at the younger man when he left.  Apparently, whatever matter Dravius was dealing with still had him worried, despite his cheerful reas.surances to the contrary.

He mentally reminded himself not to over analyze the situation, since he had only known the circus members for a short time now.  According to the stories, Raphael and Dravius had known each other for years now.  Undoubtedly there existed quite a bit of back story that Selvai wasn't privvy to.

The magician shrugged one shoulder languidly when Raphael returned to speak with them.  "Honestly, since Disera is off on her own at the moment, I have no idea what I am going to do for the rest of the day," he said.

((Let's do a small time-skip. An hour or so, maybe. Not too much will change in that amount of time. <3))

Lifting the back of a hand to cover a small yawn, Raphael leaned heavily against his brightly coloured van, his eyes roaming the surrounding area. It was early afternoon, and, as expected, most of the Circus members had stripped themselves down to their swimwear by this point and were taking advantage of the ocean.

He smiled and stretched, rolling a shoulder before heading back down to the beach. He'd spent the last hour simply walking the grounds, pausing to converse with many of the members as he pas.sed. The vacation seemed to be doing wonders for them, and he was pretty sure if nothing else got in the way, the older members would also have a chance to benefit from this break. He sighed through his nose quietly. He absolutely hated these turbulent periods.

Stretching again, he paused just where the fields sloped onto the sandy beach, his eyes searching both the shore and the sea. As well as taking part in friendly conversation, the Ring-Master had been doing his best to avoid the group of members whom had made a promise to get him back for yesterdays antics. He'd managed pretty well... So far, anyway. Smiling slightly, he crossed his arms and walked onto the beach, his bare feet shifting slightly in the warm sand as he headed towards Maya and Nylat.

Maya, who had been asleep for the majority of the last hour, shifted slightly over Nylat, being careful not to wake the hybrid as she did so. She was staring distractedly at the sand when Raphael approached, and yawned widely before sitting herself up, running her hands through her mas.s of golden hair, locks falling freely down her back and over each shoulder.

"Any better?" Raphael asked with a smile as he flopped onto the sand next to Nylat, Maya residing on the fox's other side. He leaned back on both his arms, crossing his long legs in front of him as he looked out towards the sea, looking abstracted.

"A little," She replied, stretching her arms above her head as the Ring-Master returned his gaze to her. "But I should sleep tonight," She returned his smile, unsure exactly of whether or not that statement was true. She still felt a little shaken and out of it. Absentmindedly running a hand over Nylat's back, the butterfly-winged teen yawned again, before humming a quiet, musical tune as she glanced off down the shoreline.

~~~
Julian had, again, been simply watching the local people pas.s with no imminent interest, his ex
pression almost bored. He turned only to raise his eyebrows slightly at Zinc, not bothering to answer the bogeyman and exercising a great deal of effort to not roll his eyes.
He did, however, frown slightly at Zinc's words to the Co-Master, watching in silence when Dravius finally decided to leave and head back to the Circus grounds. He sighed, lifting a hand to scratch the jaw area just below his right ear, still frowning. Ah well... He shouldn't really be all that concerned about Dravius, considering he had his own problem to deal with currently. Zinc. He knew, somehow, he was probably going to regret staying behind here with the pink haired bogeyman, and the thought caused him to sigh again, his ex
pression foreboding.
((I'll leave Zinc to time skip from here. ;3))
Nylat blinked awake, and groggily yawned. She was dimly aware of Raphael on the other side of her, but at the moment, she had to wake up. She shook her head rather roughly, before yawning again.
"Worst part of sleeping--waking up."
It was clear she addressed no one in particular and expected no answer. Now more awake, she was aware of Maya running a hand down her back. She urred lightly, sitting up. She looked over at Raphael, nodding in greeting, before leaning slightly against Maya, the purr still in her throat. She flicked her tail, and flicked her ears up, listening carefully to the tune Maya hummed, humming herself after a short while.
Dravius had been up for a few minutes, sitting with his knees to his chest, his barefeet flat on the matress of his bed, resting his chin on top of his cloth covered knees, looking at his drape covered windows, coughing every so often. His white hair had flopped over his bad eye, and Dravius had't bothered to brush it away. Sliding one foot to the floor, Dravius tapped it swiftly, using the one foot to lift himself from his seat, his bare feet making hollow thuds on the hole-ridden floor as he crossed the floor to sit in the large squishy chair next to the large window. Sighing, Dravius picked up an acoustic guitar, running his fingers across the smooth, cherry-coloured wood. Dravius coughed again and put the instrument down, making his way over to the door and hopping out, plopping down on his steps and breathing in the sun, leaning back on his elbows.
It was indeed another beautiful day, and he grinned and waved at any pas.sing circus members, Dravius's legs crossed and resting on the bright green gras.s. Sighing pleasantly, he got to his feet slowly, and stretched his arms over his head, back in his green and black long sleeved shirt. Spotting Maya and Raphael on the beach, he shook his head and grabbed the edge on his van, vaulting himself up onto his roof and stretching out on his back, his arms and legs splayed out. "Oh, this feels nice," He grunted, turning his head to the side with another huge sigh.
[[Zinc's time skip: Julian has been knocked out and thrown in a sack. Uh. And that's were his plan kinda ended.
also yeah Det. Pretty sure Selvai was talking to your peeps.]]
As mischievous as Zinc planned on being, it was actually a pretty normal shopping experience. Though, it was probably a bit irritating. His first stop was the grocery outlet, where he got a few cans of soup, and complained the whole time about how they didn't carry purple hair dye. That should be a staple, right? So he had to cross that off his mental list, and fell back on the one he thought was more important: getting Yama in a dress.
So here he was, standing in front of a rack, paper bag full of soup cans at his feet,  looking at a plain black dress. "Hmm... I dunno. If only they had something pink and poofy. Why don't girls like poofy anymore?" Zinc shook his head, grabbed one dress off the rack, and another off one nearby. One was a long black dress and the other knee length and purple, with a few odd frilly accents. "What do you think, Jules?" Zinc asked, holding both of the dresses up and giving them a critical look.
Zinc was ignoring the short bespectacled employee who was pretending to be working nearby. She seemed to find them hilarious. But this was very serious. He supposed he could ask her for a.ssistance but she'd probably ask dumb questions, so he'd rather ignore her. "Wendy doesn't have very many curves... she needs something that will not bring attention to that, and still look flattering. Or make her uncomfortable... I'm fine either way." He mumbled this to himself, and wondered if they should go with a dress with long sleeves. Something elegant. But it also had to be a dress that was durable and easy to put on because it was going to be hard trying to force her into it.
- - -
Spider and Yama, having finished breakfast were sitting outside of the food van. Sh'Yama had almost face-planted into her breakfast a few times, and the ends of her hair were all sticky and gross. But she didn't seem to care, since she was quickly dozing again and about to face-plant into the dirt. Spider sat next to her, watching her with some apprehension in case he needed to tug her back to a sitting position. "Are you sure you're still not hungry?" He asked, looking around at Kioko. "I'm sure we could dig something up if you have a certain thing in mind..."
"Afternoon," Raphael said with a laugh, watching Nylat emerge from her doze. He leant forward and crossed his legs, resting the elbow of each arm over his knees. "Where have you been all night anyway?" He added, raising an eyebrow at the humming Maya. Despite the fact it had no real tune or meaning, it was a calming sound, and Raphael quite suddenly remembered what Nylat had mentioned about the girls hidden talent.
He smiled slightly, then looked off towards the ocean again. "A little fox told me your able to hold your own quite well when it comes to vocalising beautiful sounds," He said quite off-handedly, glancing sidewaysas Maya responded with a stricken look.
It barely lasted a second however, before she turned her eyes on Nylat, frowning. "Thanks," She said, sniffing slightly, though she continued to run her hand over the hybrid, ignoring the extra weight Nylat was putting on her.
"I wanted to talk to you about that," She added quietly, biting her lip lightly and watching two Circus members roll about in the sand, each trying to pin the other down. "Oh?" Raphael replied, turning his eyes on the butterfly.
"Mm. I was thinking... Maybe... I could, you know. Use it in place of my usual performances... I don't want to sit in my van for however many months watching the rest of you do it all," She sighed, then inhaled slowly. "I'm bound to get bored," She added with a slight smile.
Raphael blinked, then laughed. "I don't see why not... We don't have a singer in the Circus performances, and once your able to dance, it'll prove to be quite a spectacular and stunning act, I'm sure. I will ask one thing though," He said with an expectant smile.
"Hm?"
"Why don't you demonstrate this voice of yours. I'm guessing I'm correct to think no-one but Nylat knows about this," He grinned.
Maya frowned, then stared at the sand, allowing her hand to fall from Nylat's back. She was biting her lip abstractedly. She wasn't really shy, she'd been a part of the Circus too long for that. No, she couldn't quite pin that feeling down though. Perhaps it was simply because she had never such a thing before, singing in front of people for the simple pleasure of doing so.
She exhaled loudly, then stood up, brushing herself off before crossing her arms behind her back. "Alright," She said, looking at the ocean. She sighed quietly, then closed her eyes.
I'll sing it one last time for you
Then we really have to go
You've been the only thing that's right
In all I've done
And I can barely look at you
But every single time I do
I know we'll make it anywhere
Away from here
Light up, light up
As if you have a choice
Even if you cannot hear my voice
I'll be right beside you dear
Her voice, as it always did, carried across the grounds when she began singing, causing many of the Circus members to pause what they were doing and look at her with incredulous and disbelieving faces. They knew Maya as the Circus dancer, and this unheard of talent was most definately not what they had expected. It was something that could have been brought from a fairytale, pure and untainted. It was beautiful, in all sense of the word, causing goosebumps and raised hairs an all who heard.
The closure of the song merged into the clapping that issued from the gathering crowd, and Maya glanced fleetingly over her shoulder at them. Raphael remained where he sat, his face both awed and very impressed.
"Your voice is beyond stunning. I'm surprised you kept it to yourself so long," He said with a proud grin as the crowd dispersed, chattering with a dense shock and obvious thrill at what they had just witnessed. "That was amazing,"
~~~

An entire hour of nothing but following the pink haired Zinc had replaced Julians usually neutral ex
pression with a scowl, and he walked with his eyes unseeing. Zinc wasn't so much "annoying" as he was... Ugh. There wasn't even a word for it.

Sighing, the Sword Master looked almost longingly out of the window of the store they currently occupied, inwardly wincing at the name, "Jules". He swore under his breath. If the damn bogeyman called him that just one more time. He gently touched the hilt of a dagger almost unconsciously. He sighed again in resignation, then looked at the dresses. "Either,"

Either, had been his response most of the last hour, and there was absoloutely no enthusiasm present in his voice. At all.

"You still havn't revealed just why your shopping for a dress of all things," He added as an afterthought, laying his forehead against the window and looking out into the street with a slight frown.

((Yes, Ny. You'll know those lyrics. <3))

Dravius had reached the threshold of sleep as Maya began her song, and he sat up quixkly as it started, leaning back on the palms of his hands and moved forewards, sitting rather precariously on the edge of his van's roof, a slight smile tugging at the corners of his mouth, as he hopped lightly down, his bare feet stricking the gras.s.  Coughing slightly, Dravius made his way over to the back of the crowd, standing at least a few inches above most of the members, a wide grin resting on his face. As the crowd dispersed, Dravius stepped forewards onto the beach, his hands behind his back, and he had changed the both the bandages on his neck and put some on his bitten wrist.

"Indeed it was," Dravius grinned, agreeing with Raphael with a large nod, grinning even wider as he coughed again, putting his face close to the crook of his elbow to muffle the harsh sound. "I do wonder why you didn't sing at all before now." He added, shaking his hair out of his bad eye, and yawning. "'Twas the best singing I've heard, to be honest," Dravius coughed, tucking his hands into his two back pockets, with another huge grin. "What song was that, by the way?" The Co-Master asked, tapping each heel on the sand after the other, then looking around and questioning, "Where's Julian?" I would've thought that he'd be back by now," Looking at the bright blue sky, Dravius took his hands out of his pockets and tapped his wrists together, humming the same tune Maya had just been singing. "I'll have to play that," He muttered to himself, already picking part the tune and separating it into chords and melodies.

Once the initial excitement had pas.sed, and the beach had returned to a semi-empty state, or atleast, the area around Raphael and Maya had, the butterfly turned back to the ocean and sighed again.

Raphael was still sat on the sand, still smiling at the girl. "Such talent shouldn't be hidden," He said, leaning forward and brushing sand from his legs just as Dravius appeared. He glanced once at the Co-Master, chuckling at his words.

Maya glanced sideways at him, before turning back to the ocean and chewing on her orange gauzed arm out of habit. "I never saw any reason to," She replied, frowning slightly and not bothering to mention it was a somewhat recent developement. She blushed furiously at his comments however, keeping her eyes firmly on the sand before flopping into a sitting position. "Run," She murmered in response to his question, still frowning. She couldn't believe how tiring simply talking to him could be, no doubt a result of the past week in general. She started picking at her gauze again, turning so that she sat facing away from the Co-Master, looking distracted.

When the Co-Master asked about Julian, Raphael, who had raised an eyebrow at Maya's change in mood, looked back at Dravius. "You know what he's like. He spends a lot of time on his own," The Ring master said with a slight smile."He dissappears from time to time,"

((*squeals and snuggles lyrics* <3 Next is the other one I spazz over, yes? The one where my MP3 goes psychic.))

Nylat grinned at the mention of her telling Raphael about Maya's singing, and continued to hum, though softer as Maya sang. She wasn't as amazed as the others--she'd heard Maya sing before--but it still amazed her how something like that could stay bottled up. She flicked her tail, tapping claws in a rhythm that closely matched that of the song. Well, it would, if she hadn't been sitting on sand. Sand never made a sound to tapping. She hummed again, her ears laid back in contentment. She glanced over at Dravius and nodded in greeting, as she had with Raphael, and took care to flick her tail behind Maya as she turned away, laying her head on her friend's shoulder.
"Picking at that, no matter how distracting it is, will not help much. Nothing else, it'll make things worse, no?"
Her voice was soft--meant only for Maya.

For a moment, Sh'Yama only listened to Maya singing. She wasn't aware it was Maya, and in her sleepy mind, didn't really care who it was. It was very pretty, though, and that was the last thing she thought before she fell backwards against the van with a rather loud thump and fell asleep. Spider glanced at her momentarily, blinking a few times, and decided she was okay.

The singing. It reminded him of something, but he couldn't place his finger on it. All Spider knew is that it was probably gonna make him fall asleep too. Not out of boredom, of course, but simply because it sounded so nice and he was dog tired.

Zinc could probably say "The dress is for you" and still not get a good response, but Julian in a dress would be a hideous sight, so he wasn't even going to joke about that. He looked at both of the dresses with some apprehension and then shoved them both back on the rack, making no effort to put them back where he got them. "It's not a very big secret, Mr. Grumpy-Pants. It's for Yama. She's such an uptight thing. Even bloodthirsty witches deserve to feel pretty every once and a while. Don't you think so?"

Not waiting for an answer,  Zinc clambered onto a little step ladder that clearly stated "employees only" to reach a dress on a high hook. Why they even put them up there was beyond him. "What do you think she'd look good in? I was leaning towards ball gown, but it seems they're fresh out." He said, stepping down the ladder, now holding a silver dress with an enormous black bow on the front. "I hate strapless." He mumbled, and continued his mumbling about dresses and clothes and maybe something about skin-tones and who knows what else.

The nosy employee looked like she was gonna chastise him for climbing the ladder, but Zinc shoved the dress at her. "Ring this up." He said, and that was that. "Probably should get something for ickle-Spider-kins too." And Zinc felt a bit helpless when he got the sudden thought that Spider would probably appreciate a dress more than Sh'Yama would.  "Oh hey, did you need anything?" Zinc asked, turning to Julian. "Long as we're out and I'm buying. Hungry? We could get icecreeaam~."

Dravius looked down at Maya, his eyebrows curving downwards as he noticed Maya's bright red face. "What's wrong?" He asked, bending down until his butt rested on his bare heels, his arms resting on his knees. He managed to line up his good eye with one of Maya's, a concerned ex
pression on his face. Looking back up at Raphael, he frowned and said, "Oh, he's not by himself. He's with Zinc, looking for hair dye, soup, and a dress," Laughing quietly, he sat back in the sand, crossing his legs and scratching the thick mane of fur around Nylat's neck, his long fingers finding the best spots to scratch the hybrid.

Dravius tilted his head, turning his attention back to Maya. Noticing the girl picking at her gauze, he rubbed his bitten wrist, deciding not to say anything, as he was the one always picking at anything he could find when he was nervous. Coughing, Dravius got to his feet, brushing most of the sand off of his black pants, putting his hands into his front pockets, and humming the song Maya had been singing again, taking out a pen and muttering to himself, scribbling notes and chords on the gauze of his arm, producing a full musical measure of the song on the white cloth, filling the lines in with the song, managing to decipher the tune fully. "Ah ha." He grinned, holding out his arm to Maya. "Is this right?" He asked, showing her the spiky notes he had drawn.

"Never bring that horrid drink here again."

"It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

"Oh?... Whatever would he need a dress for?" Raphael blinked at Dravius, his eyebrows raised and his ex
pression curious. He was sure, more than sure, even, that whatever Zinc had planned for said dress would probably cause a good few confrontational ripples

Maya was still somewhat abstracted when Nylat spoke to her, and she sighed quietly. Easy for her to say. "Mm. At this point, I doubt much could get any worse,"

She glanced at Dravius when asked his question, and it took her a moment to realise what he'd wanted. She frowned at him, honestly?... She couldn't have answered it, because there were too many answers, and she didn't particularly want to remind him if he couldn't remember. She'd had a bad week as it was, last night had topped it, and he was here asking what was wrong?... She placed a hand over her face and closed her eyes. He really was stupid. She'd hit him if she thought it would make her feel better, too bad it wouldn't. That was one of the many pitfalls of falling in love with a dense kid who couldn't feel pain. That was just her luck. If only the guy could come up with his own answers without having to be told, things probably wouldn't have ended up as they had, or nearly so complicated. She was sure her lack of sleep wasn't really helping.

Inhaling slowly, she dropped her hand and smiled at him. One that was quite obviously requiring effort and not all that genuine. "Nothing," She replied blithely, waving a hand. She went back to looking at the sand, only looking up to read Dravius' musical notes. She raised her eyebrows at him, answering with a quiet "Mm", and looking with concern at his injured arm, then over her shoulder when Raphael spoke.

"Oh, dear. I'll be back," He murmered, heading towards the vans at a speedy pace. He'd spotted a couple of the members from yesterday, and decided it was probably a smart idea to get away from the sea, just for now, anyway. He stopped only once he was sure he was clear, sighing slightly and chuckling. Oh well. They'd get him eventually. no doubt.

Maya watched him leave with a slight frown, then went back to amusing herself with the sand in front of her in order to stop herself picking at the gauze again.

Raphael, once he was back around the vans, glanced around, and, spotting Yama and Spider, made his way over. "Good aft-Oh," He raised an eyebrow at the sleeping Yama, frowning slightly. "Ah... You both seem awfully tired," He said quietly, moving his gaze from the female sibling to look at Spider. He hadn't been present during yesterdays problem with the Spider twins. "Are you alright?"

 Julian had still had his eyes on the street outside when Zinc spoke, and it was only with slight interest he actually turned his face to the pink haired male. He raised an eyebrow. "You'll have a hell of a timegetting that one near a dress, let alone in it," He said, turning back to the window. You could know Yama for only half an hour and know instinctively she would refuse anything that may have hinted at being "girly".

"Who knows," He replied to Zincs second question. Stupid question. Julian was not a fashion guru. He had no interest whatsoever about people and what they chose to wear. Why would he?... Pushing himself away from the window, he glanced only once at Zincs chosen dress before speaking again. "Not particularly," He sighed loudly at the last few words from the bogeymans mouth. This was going to be a long day...
