((Lazy Maya needs to talk to Ny soon.)) Nylat yawned, lifting her head from the fish bones that laid between her paws. She'd dosed off halfway through it, and woken upa few minutes later, finishing it. Then she'd been too lazy to move. So she slept with the bones. Lifting herself from the blankets, she winced, barely managing to stifle a yelp as pain shot up her paw. She set it down again gingerly, whining a bit as the slightest touch to the ground caused it to flare in pain. Apparently, she'd let it go unchecked for too long. And now she was paying. Setting the fish bones down beside her bed, she hobbled her way to her door, taking care not to let her paw touch the ground. She managed to get her door open, to find Kanec standing there, rolling her carvng from one hand to the other. She growled at him, and made to snatch it from his, but her jaws snapped shut on air as he pulled it away. "Nope. You aren't getting this back until you go see that Dravius checks that leg of yours." Nylat glared at him, but stepped out of the van, wincing as she bit back a growl when she stumbled, using her hurt leg to steady herself. She flicked her tail, making her way to the Co-Master's van. When she reached it, she yawned, before laying her head against the van. "Hey, Dravius?"
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

Oh great so she's sicking their murderer on him now? This place! Evangelos looked Dravius up and down, and was not impressed. Were they earlier trying to convince him that this Dravius was not a bad person? Perhaps they should clean him up better. Why it looked like he had just recently gotten into a scuffle (and probably murdered someone) just recently. Look at that split lip and his hideously threatening air...
And he didn't even know he knew he was a murderer, what was with that glare? Someone was a snitch. He went over all of this in a few seconds, looking at Dravius's offered hand as he fiddled with his pocketwatch. Widespread. Not really. They were all inbred and stupid. There weren't all that many left, if you didn't count the undead ones. Evan did not shake Dravius's hand, and after giving Anur an injured look at her attempt to have him murdered in cold blood by their filthy blood hound, he disappeared.
Or seemed to, anyway. Really, he just stepped out of time for a little bit and stared at them all, frozen in place. Well, it was getting dark. He'd just wait in Spider's van until the boy came in. They'd pack up and get out of this place before dawn if he could avoid their attempted murders until then. He pulled open the door to Spider's van, and stepped inside, despite his aversion to the webs all hanging in there.
He sat down on a cushion and rea.sserted himself into time. He decided to step back in to it this morning. Hopefully the manhunt would be over by then. Sighing, he put his pocketwatch back in his vest pocket and rubbed his eyes. He didn't know if he'd be able to stand existing here for such a long period of time. Hopefully with a little help Boris would learn to live alright on his own.
Speaking of Boris, there he was in the corner. Good to know he made it to bed without being stabbed to death by his murderous circus friends. It took him a moment to realize that Spider wasn't the only one in the van, since the lights were on. The startled gasp was another good giveaway. Evan stared blankly at Zinc, who was currently sitting at the table. It looked like he had been doing something with sparkle glue. That explained the glitter everywhere.
"Ah. Good morning." Evan said, smiling awkwardly. "I'm Evan. Relative of Boris's. I don't think I introduced myself earlier. What was your name again?" Zinc pulled his jaw back up and scowled. "Well it's a good thing I'm fully dressed, you invisible sneaky-sneak!" He wailed, and then set his glue down. "Call me Zinc, strange goatee man. How did you get in here?" Zinc put on his best suspicious face and folded his hands on the table. "The usual way?" Evan muttered, looking apprehensive. "May I ask what you're doing here?"

Dravius noticed Evan's skeptical look, and jerked back as the short man seemed to disappear. "Alright, he's gone. Perfect," Shaking his head, the boy turned on his bare heel, and waved to those collected there. "Kioko, get some rest, and if you need anything, get me." Sighing, the Co-Master slipped back into his dark van, and curled up on one end of his bed. Uch. Sleeping was so boring. It was just eight hours of staring at a bunch of rocks. How dull. ----------- In the morning, the sound of Maya groaning woke him, pulling his think black blanket over his head, and pressing his face into the matress. He returned her sounds with a groan of his own, getting to his knees. Gently, he slid himself off the bed, and swiftly changed, with a pair of identical pants, and a long sleeved, baggy shirt. The shirt was a bright, vibrant red, with a pocket on the left side of his chest, which had what seemed to be ink splattered over it. The neck on the shirt was wide, almost on the verge of falling off one shoulder. The ends of the sleeves had printed "Ink" splattered on them as well, and as Dravius stretched, both his shoulders cracked in unison. Coughing more, the youth slipped out of his dwelling, rubbing his eyes with both hands. Spotting Nylat, he tilted his head and raised a brow, sitting down on the steps. "What happened, Ny?" Crossing his legs, Dravius leaned closer to the hybrid, and gently took her paw, extending the leg to examine to joint. "Mmmm. Swollen. What'dya do to it?" Shaking his head, Dravius remarked, "Well, we'll have to keep it immobile, and after I wrap it, you're gonna have to stay in one place, and get some rest. There've been a lot of ankle and leg injuries lately. Two of Rev get their feeet stuck in a sink in the ocean, and twisted their joints," Sighing, the Co-Master gently set Nylat's paw down, leaning back on the step.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

((Pff. Just try to keep Nylat in one place. Not gonna happen easily. XD)) EDIT: Nylat shifted a bit at Dravius's question, and mumbled an inaudible response somewhere along the lines of 'accident.' But is was lost as she winced when he took her paw. She was silent for a bit after, but when the Co-Master mentioned staying in one place, she managed to bark a laugh. "Me? In one place? Never happens. Never will. And especially not during a vacation. Or whatever you wish to call this." She flicked her tail, wincing again as she brought her paw back closer to her, and drew a sharp breath. Looking up at Dravius again, she met his eyes, her's a bit amused. "And who exactly do you expect to hunt for me? After all, it isn't like I prefer cooked meat. And I wouldn't dare let Kanec touch anything relatively related to my food." ((Fail. DX))

At the sound of scuffled movement, Maya attempted to drown out the sound by again covering her head with the blanket. Upon hearing the opening door, the girl forced herself into a sitting position, which took more effort than she had previously thought, and looked up just in time to see Dravius leave. She sighed quietly. Dravius. He was always moving., though that was probably to be expected. Stifling a yawn, Maya attempted to disentangle herself from the blankets, flopping back onto the pillow every couple of minutes. Yes, she's slept, and yes, she felt slightly better, despite the fact she knew she could probably sleep all day. It was prboably the lack of food contributing to the lack of energy. Yawning again and grumbling, the butterfly winged girl eventually managed to get herself out of the twisted covers, using the chair to pull herself to her feet as she glanced around the inside of the Co Masters van. The light from the open door caused many of the words coating the walls to glitter like wet ink, which actually cast a pretty, shimering effect that had not been present the night before. Who knew there could be such beauty in the darkest of places. Inhaling through her nose, Maya debated on staying in here a little longer, until she heard Nylats voice. Well, that plan went out the window. As much as the teen wished to just stay away, she figured doing so would prove to be beneficial in no way. Besides. She really owed the hybird an apology. That, and she probably needed to eat. If, of course, she could make it to the food van without falling on her face. Her body was still trembling somewhat, though it had dimmed noticeably. Throwing a final glance at the carved name in the wall by the chair, Maya finally put together enough motivation to move herself to the door, having to quickly place both hands on each side of the door frame to prevent walking into Dravius, who had sat his tall frame on the steps. Her attention immediately fell on Nylat and her obviously injured paw, and a look of concern settled itself in her eyes. "Are you alright?" She asked, moving an arm so that she could hold one side of the door frame with both hands, before she blinked at the Co-Master sat on the stair. "Dravius," She murmered, tugging lightly on a lock of the tall males hair. "Did you know your hair's growing out black?" Huh. How hadn't she noticed?... She exhaled slowly, idly wondering whether she dared brave the steps. It was probably a good idea she go eat something... Even if she didn't really feel like it. ~~~ Raphael had been up a good while, and currently sat on the beach with a thoughtful ex pression on his face. He had come out this morning wearing his board shorts and a shirt, though he had at some point removed the shirt thanks to the unbelievable heat of the day. He watched silently as many members of the Circus had gone on to immerse themselves in water in the hopes of keeping themselves cool, and Raphael idly realised that this "vacation" was almost over. Another couple of days and the Circus would return to being just that, a Circus. He smiled slightly. Well, nothing quite like business to take your mind off things. He also wondered just whether or not anyone had actually got anything out of this vacation... It seemed to be just as stressful as a week of shows, if not more so. With a quiet sigh, he glanced off towards the wood, and noticed immediately the presence of Zyano, a curious ex pression on his face. He didn't believe he'd spotted that wolf before, and a momentary concern made its presence felt. Really, if something else went wrong. The Ring Master kept his gaze on the wolf, noting strangely that the creature seemed to be proving no threat as of yet, and the male returned his gaze to the ocean, though he kept his senses alert. Just in case. Well. Flopping onto his back, the Ring-Master closed his eyes, basking in the overly hot rays of sun as he placed his arms behind his head. They'd see how the rest of it went, he supposed.

Nylat flicked her tail when Maya emerged from the van, looking down at her question. "Uh. Uhm. Well...I was...uh...venting my frustration. And the branch...broke. And I fell..." She laid her ears back, not wanting to say much more on the subject, and was saved by her stomach growling. She panted in the heat, and welcomed a small breeze, catching the slight scent of the wolf from yesterday that the breeze carried. She was halfway tempted to go after him, but chose not to. Not on an empty stomach and not as hurt as she was.

Dravius tilted his head back to look at Mayanna as Mayanna emerged out of his van, shifting to the side. When she pulled on part of his hair, then remarked about the colour, he put one hand to his mouth and laughed quietly, and grinned, "Yeah. It has been for a while. Maybe I'll end up with stripes, huh?" Turning back to Nylat, he laughed more at her almost embar*censored*ed manner. "It broke?" Tugging a stiff roll of gauze out of a pocket, he took Nylat's paw in his hands again, gently pulling it straight, and swiftly rolling the cloth around Nylat's injured paw. Dravius had used gauze so stiff, it almost acted as a cast, that reached from just above Nylat's claws, to the reversed joint close to her torso. The wrappings were almost as the same colour as the hybrid's fur, but it forced her paw straight, so that if she had broken it, it would heal right. "Alright. But, you know, I'd say that I know just a bit more about injuries and the like. Stay off it as much as you can, and I'm sure Beron will help you if you're not too proud to ask." Tucking the stiff wrappings back into his pocket, Dravius stood and held out his arms, with a crooked smile resting on his face. "Where to, Mi'lady?" Raising a brow, the Co-Master seemed prepared to carry the butterfly-winged girl around, and asked, "You seem like you need breakfast. You're shaking like a leaf," ((Mmmm-fail.))

Maya snorted at Dravius's comment regarding his change in hair colour, and the sudden image of a zebra came to mind, which would have made her giggle had she not been interrupted by Circus members who shot by Dravius's van, heading for the beach. She watched them leave, then turned her eyes back to Nylat as Dravius dealt with her injured limb. Broken?... Whatever would she do that result in a broken paw?... Almost as soon as that question came to mind, Maya shook her head slightly. Nylat was actually rather predictable when it came to her temper, and with things this week, well... It was a surprise that a broken paw was all she ended up with. She frowned slightly the entire time, her ex pression concerned as she focused on the hybrid. No doubt Maya would talk to her about it later, that was, if she could convince the hybrid to do so. Talking to Nylat was sometimes difficult. Sighing to herself, the blonde teen glanced down, judging the steps before she glanced up to Dravius, staring at his outstretched arms. It took her a few seconds to realise what he was asking, and she blinked, frowning slightly. She wasn't an invalid, she could walk, albeit a little unsteady she'd admit. But still. The girls slight frown turned into a pout as she glanced back at the steps and chose that moment to brave them. She did well on the first, and almost lost it on the second, grabbing hold of the door frame to avoid breaking an ankle. With a heavy sigh, she frowned at the Co-Master. At least she tried, she supposed... She'd probably just try again in 5 minutes. Stupid drugs were not helpful.

A million and one possible explanations flooded Zinc's head. He decided to go with the truth. "Oh I'm just the boogeyman. Happen to be Spider's non-certified guardian." Zinc shrugged, "Yep. That's the story. What are you doing way out here? You know, I don't remember you, and I know a lot of the Blodwens." "Guardian, hmm? You probably wouldn't know me. I'm not around much. Anyway... I think it would be in Boris's best interest to leave this place. He has a family, he doesn't need to be... fraternizing with a bunch of homeless murderous ruffians." Evan stood and dusted his hands. "That is my impression of them, in any case. They tried to change my perception (barely). What would you say?" He asked, looking a bit unsure as he looked at Zinc. "What? No, no, that is a good idea. These people are psychopathic FREAKS. It's a wonder you're still alive. If it wasn't for me and Yama... poor Spider. You know, this place is full of arachnophobes." Zinc's voice lowered, and he looked over at Spider with a saddened ex pression. "They were hitting him with newspapers and absolutely scarring him for life. Did you see how dead eyed and unhappy he was? Severe mental scarring. It's all their fault. Hey, I'll get his stuff packed. You're a saint for doing this, Evan." Zinc looked at his unfinished picture frame, and shrugged, turning to prowl through spider webs and find Spider's suitcase. Evan had put a hand to his face when Zinc was explaining the horribleness of the situation. He was really far to trusting of this friendly man, and couldn't tell that he was lying. "Oh my... it's, it's worse than I thought. How could they leave him here? Oh, I bet it would have only been worse with his sister gone!" Evan rubbed his eyes with a handkerchief and lamented at what a horrible great great great uncle he was for not coming sooner. Not that that was entirely his fault. He was a very hard man to get a hold of. "Yeah. Sure. Should have seen what they did with his little spider friends. They're a delicacy around here." Zinc placed Spider's suitcase on the table and folded some sweaters and set them on top of it. He still couldn't figure out the combination to the suitcase... it was probably something really dumb and obvious like 1 2 3 4, 5 6 7 8. Ah well. "I'm sure he'll get the rest of his stuff when he wakes up. Hard to find where he hides stuff. Little weirdo. Anyway, best to act casual and not tell anyone you're taking him anywhere, if someone happens to see you or something. They congregate into vicious mobs and attack people who try to leave. Yama almost couldn't get away. It was horrible." "Gracious!" "I know, right?"

Dravius watched Maya frown, then attempt the steps. He pouted back at the girl, crossing his arms in front of his chest. "Can't you just admit you need help?" He asked, moving forewards to pick up Mayanna anyway, lifting her slight frame easily. "I'm technically your superior, so I say, I'm going to carry you to breakfast, and then you will eat something. You're still trembling," Sighing through his nose, the tall, white haired boy navigated the uneven ground, turning to Nylat and calling, "Stay off the paw as much as possible, Ny!" Eventually, the two reached the food van, when Dravius opened the door and gently set Mayanna down on her feet, and crossed to a chir, leaning it back on two feet to grab a plate of fruit, mostly comprised of grapes and strawberries. Suddenly, with a slight yelp, Dravius's chair slid out from under him, and food went flying everywhere. "Miranda, Now I have to pick those up!" He exclaimed, and when he re-emerged from below the table, he had a small blonde girl hanging from his shoulders, and his shirt and hair even more dishelveled and askew than normal. The little girl giggled, and slid down to sit on the table, a grin on her round face. "Sweets, tripping me is fine, but pulling my chair out and making food go everywhere is not." Miranda looked sad, wrapping her arms around the boy's neck. "Alright, Mir. It's fine. Now. Off, please," The girl slid down and trotted away. Dravius bent to collect the fallen fruit, a slight grin resting on his face. ------------------ There was a deep hissing sound that resounded around Evan's person, and his shadow seemed to be twisting, and it split in three, two figures separating, and then rising, filling out to become two identical figures, whose skin seemed to be constanly shifting. The figure's eyes were a glowing yellow, and they both sported long, high pigtails. They were gripping each other's hands, and they hissed, a sound that was similar to a snake. "You're both extrordinairily foolish," The two, Spyne and Tapp, hissed together, their voices resonating loudly. "You, Evan, for trusting Zinc. You Zinc, for telling such blantent lies. We've put up with you and your chattering, and now you're trying to get into Spider's belongings," The voices, feminine and harsh, were accompanied by a high, headache-inducing whine. "Evan, this is something that causes nightmares for enjoyment. He enjoys making people miserable and scared. And you belive anything that spouts out of his candy-coated, sugar-glazed mouth." The two girls turned to Evan, their glowing eyes narrowing. "You come in, knowing nothing about us, and as.sume us killers, and are set to believe anything bad about us. You also call yourself a guardian, when you've decided to come just now, and are more terrified of us, than you are concerned about Spider." They spat, separating and placing their hands on their hips. The two were mirror images of each other, as they squinted at Evan. One stepped forewards, pigtails whipping back and forth in the van. "And Evan, what child in their right mind would enjoy sitting in a house filled with the sound of clocks? Especially Spider. Even not being around him much, we both know how much he hates loud noises and the like." She growled, crossing her dark arms over his chest. "Your naivete is stunning, Galahad." The girl made the name sarcastic and cutting, waving her hands in the air. The other girl nodded, stepping forewards to whisper something in her double's ear. "Fine, do what you want," the one being whisperd to snapped, and the other figure bowed and said, "Our names are Spyne, and Tapp. I am Tapp," Raising up, you could tell that Tapp's eyes held more orange than Spyne's, and she was much quiter, at least away from her sister.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

She woke up with a stiff ankle and a grainy feeling in her eyes. Kioko scrubbed at her eyes with the back of her wrist in an attempt to wake herself up. The white haired girl lay in her bed for a few minutes, wondering if she should even wake up yet. Despite how late in the morning it was, she was still tired from being up so late the night before. Rolling onto her side, burrowing her face into the large, folded bulk of Yama's fur cloak. She'd found the item on the steps of their van after she had finished speaking to Spider and managed to hobble back to the van. Seeing it had brought home the realization that Yama had really left, and her previous good mood had quickly disappeared. She'd been so distracted by Maya and Dravius that the fact that Yama was really gone had slipped from her mind, and she'd curled up on her bed with the large slab of fur and tried not to cry. Without anyone else, the circus van seemed too large. Kioko had briefly considered going back to Disera and Selvai's van to stave off her loneliness, but she had chickened out and instead had buried herself under her blankets and tried to sleep. Realizing she wasn't going to be able to go back to sleep, Kioko pushed herself up, carefully moving her bandaged foot to the floor. She placed Yama's folded cloak on her pillow and grabbed her crutches, standing up from the bed and heading to the door. Standing on the steps, Kioko caught the scent of breakfast foods wafting from the direction of the food van. Normally, she would have gone to eat, but this morning the thought of food simply made her stomach cringe unpleasently. Instead, the white haired girl slowly walked aimlessly around the circus grounds, eventually coming to the beach where several circus members were splashing in the water. She spotted Raphael laying on the sand not far from her and hobbled over to the Circus Master, carefully lowering herself to the sand a few feet away. "Hello, Mister Raphael," Kioko muttered quietly, eyes downcast. ---------------------------- Disera hopped down from her perch on the headboard, shifting into her true form as she hit the floor. She slowly made her way to the door, being sure not to make too much noise and wake up Selvai. Quietly opening and closing the door, the shifter changed into her raven form and took flight. She let her mind wander as flew, not paying attention to where she was headed. So far, her plan wasn't going so well. If Kioko was correct about Dravius having feelings for Maya, then it would be a bit more difficult than she had originaly thought to pair up Selvai and Maya. "Not like that's going to stop me," the shifter told herself. Not when it came to Selvai being happy. Disera lazily circled above the circus grounds once more, this time paying attention to the beings on the ground. Spotting one in particular, the blue raven circled lower unitl she could land on the large, carved branch that he was carrying. "Hullo, Kanec," Disera greeted, shifting slightly to get a better grip on the wood. She noticed the details of the animal carving that covered the branch and tilted her head to the side to better follow the pattern. "This is nice. Did you carve it?" She hopped to the ground, changing into her true form. "Mmm. Anyway. What are you doing today?"
"I WISH THAT PUNCTUATION HAD A PHYSICAL FORM SO I COULD SMOTHER YOU WITH IT."

"That would be because I'm just fine," Maya grumped, pouting at Dravius further and glancing at the stairs again. She had been on the verge of stepping down from them when Dravius decided to take things into his own hands and lifted her off the floor. The girl had barely time to bl ink or react, and instinctively wrapped her arms around his neck for the sake of making herself feel more secure. She trusted Dravius, sure, but his sudden moves had caught her off guard. When he walked off in the general direction of the food van, she grumbled loudly in response to Dravius's other statement regarding his superiority, before snorting in reply. "My superior in stupidity," She huffed, puffing out her cheeks at him and crossing her arms. Her ex pression and tone of voice weren't really agitated, but she remained pouty faced as she sniffed at him, still grumbling. The entire effect was actually rather adorable, seeing as the butterfly wasnt really one who could pull off an angry ex pression all that well. Only cutting off her mumbles when Dravius put her down, Maya watched him silently when he went to retrieve the bowl of fruit. Glancing around, the butterfly noted there were few members in here this morning, either because they'd already eaten or hadn;t got up yet. She was distracted however by a loud thud, and turned swiftly in time to see the Circus Co-Master pull himself from the floor with Miranda around his neck. The butterfly felt the corners of her lips twitch. She should have figured, that kid was forever sabotaging Dravius. Smiling slightly, Maya refrained from laughing at the two of them as Miranda scarpered past, watching the girl leave in silence. She looked back to watch the smiling Co-Master for a moment, before sighing quietly and walking over, kneeling to help collect the fallen fruit. "You should probably keep an eye on her, you know. She seems to have it in for you," Maya said, smiling slightly at him before straightening herself and placing her collected fruit on the empty plate, sighing quietly. Mmm. Darn. She still felt drained. ~~~ Raphael had been in the process of pleasantly dozing off on the sand when he was interrupted by shouting members. Sighing through his nose, the blonde illusionist opened one eye to stare at the clear sky, covering his eyes from the glare of the sun. My my... It really was hot out here today. Yawning once, the blonde had been about to settle himself back into that dozing state when a voice interrupted. "Mmf," Opening his eyes and tilting his head back, Raphael blinked, then smiled. "Morning, Kioko," He replied, sitting himself up and shaking sand out of his hair. He glanced over his shoulder, frowning slightly when he noticed the girls expresasion. "Kioko?... You really don't look all that well, are you alright?" He asked, still frowning slightly, before he stood up and attempted to shake sand free of his pants as he walked over to flop beside the girl. "What is it?" He asked, his voice warm as he watched the girl with a careful and slightly concerned ex pression.

Nylat barely managed to remain silent, between the dull pain as Dravius wrapped her paw and the exchange between the CDo-master and Maya. She flicked an ear, with a somewhat amused ex pression. Her and Maya would have to chat later. It seemed as if the hybrid had missed a great deal. Flicking her tail, she glanced at her paw. Try to stay off it, hm? It woldn't be too hard. She hobbled over to the edge of the vans, watching the trees beyond wistfully. She wanted to hunt, or do something, but, of course, she wasn't going to get much done in her current state. She flopped down on the ground, careful of her paw, and heaved a sigh. There went the rest of her vacation. ~~ Kanec was inspecting the carving when Disera graced him with a visit. It'd been a while since he'd actually seen it completed. At her question, he looked up at her. "Ah, hello Disera. To what do I owe the pleasure of this visit? And no, this is Nylat's." He set the carving just inside Nylat's van, before answering again. "I'm not sure what I'll do today. Maybe I can convince Raphael to help me try out a new form. Hm.." He flared a wing, also contemplating going for a fly. But he'd flown alot the past few days. Maybe he'd take his own suggestion and start working on a sea monster shift. That'd be interesting.

[[Spider finds people eavesdropping in his van to be a serious offense.]] “Oh boo, oh boo hoooooo, Zinc is lying. Wah, wah wah— WHAT ARE YOU DOING IN HERE?!” Zinc's usually pretty face deformed into one most hideous, his mouth splitting wide and his mouth filling with razor sharp teeth. “HE'S NOT YOUR RESPONSBILTIY, GET OUT OF MY VAN!” He howled, hair literally standing on end. Evan sneaking into his van was one thing. Two little 'tards who did not know their place was another matter intirely. “A.ssume you're killers?! They came right out and said it! How dare you! I bet you don't know Spider either, you harlots! You're not making any sense, either! What kind of argu—EEEKKK!” Evan quite nearly jumped five feet in the air, and cowered by the table as he watched Zinc. Oh no, this was horrible. They're whining about clocks? What about the freaks this circus houses!! Clocks didn't hurt anyone! THESE PEOPLE DID. It was at this point that Spider woke up. He had been slightly awake when he heard the hissing and grating noises of the shadow twins, but now he was fully awake. At least Evan had had the deceny of whispering, and he was used to hearing Zinc prattle on to himself in the morning anyway. He examined the situation with wide, startled eyes. And then his eyes went black. “What are you DOING!? That's IT! I've HAD ENOUGH!” There was a reverberating crash, and Evan found himself flung backwards into the wall. Small items sailed off the table and whirled around the van, along with Spider's suitcase, and Zinc's arts and crafts. Zinc was thrown unceremoniously into the door. It was like a whirlwind had erupted inside the van. The door threw itself open, and Zinc was thrown out. Evan was whirled about and tossed out after him, screaming wildly the whole time. “And YOU! W-who are you—? You know what, I don't care! You keep chasing my family away and grah!! Get out of MY VAN before I throw you out!!” But Spider decided not give them a choice, as he couldn't really control his anger at this point. The van was practically doing jumping jacks, and it was taking all of his willpower to keep it on the ground. Tapp and Spyne were lovingly removed from the van in the same way as Zinc and Galahad; sent hurtling face first out the front door. Shadows got nothing on poltergeists. The door to Spider's van slammed shut, and then the whole van shuddered like some sort of angry beast as it settled back down on the ground. Spider stumbled out of his now quite tattered hammock and fell on the floor, shouting expletives he shouldn't know. Ugh, that really took a toll on you. Now he had a headache. Spider pulled on the sweater Zinc had folded over his suitcase (now located in a heap in the corner), and then pulled his suitcase out from under a cushion. He didn't need any of them! Blast them all and their meddling and their caring and not caring and SNEAKING INTO HIS VAN! If there was one thing Spider couldn't stand, it was privacy invasion. He shoved his window open and his suitcase shot out like a bullet, hopefully not killing someone in the process, and he wriggled out the window after it, nearly hitting the ground in a painful heap, but managed to stop himself. He was really out of practice with the psychokinetic voodoo, maybe sending the whole Circus into a swirling ma.ss of telekinetic death would be a fitting parting gift. Rubbing his knee, which he had bumped on the exit, Spider hissed angrily and pulled his suitcase out of the mud puddle it had landed in. Shoes. He'd forgotten shoes. Oh well, shoes were for people who liked other people sneaking into their rooms in the morning and breathing heavily over them while they eavesdropped on your friends conversations. He was not that kind of person! - - - Evan had landed on Zinc (who was still looking VERY upset), and was bawling uncontrollably. Zinc was a ticking time bomb. Think of the rules, think of the rules, THINK OF THE RULES, were his silent mantra. “They're all going to kill meeeee.” Evan whined pitifully, “Run Boris, while they're distracted with mutilating my corpse!! Be free, you poor, wonderful creature!” Zinc shoved Evan off, and then stood. He noticed his arm was broken, and he examined the bone jutting out of his elbow with some interest. Maybe he'd just leave it like that to scare someone. After a moments pause, he poked it back in, and there was a horrible whistling noise as his body put everything back together. “Great. Now his tantrum has been pushed to “use physical violence to make a point”. Instead of "mope like a baby". You are the stupidest “do-gooders” this side of Narnia. Or something. I was just thrown headfirst out of a hurricane, excuse my lack of witty comments.”

((And now Kioko's going to be sad over Spider leaving, too. Nice work, guys D:)) Kioko placed her crutches next to her on the sand, then pulled her knees up to her chest and dropped her head onto them. "I don't know," she mumbled in response to Raphael's questions. She lifted her head slightly, white hair falling in her eyes. "I was happy yesterday. After Maya and Dravius finally talked everything out, I was happy, because Maya is my friend, and she was happy. But then, after I talked to Spider, I went back to my van to sleep. Yama's cloak was laying on the steps. I guess I must have missed it when I stepped outside the first time. So I brought it inside with me." The girl hid her face in her knees again, as her eyes started watering suddenly. She squeezed them shut before continuing. "And when I was inside, I realized how messy the van still was. Because of how Yama and Spider were fighting in it the other night. And it just... made me remember suddenly. How Yama is gone now." Kioko wiped her eyes before risking a sidelong glance at the Circus Master. "I know it's kind of dumb. I haven't even known Yama for very long. But she is my friend. I never had many real friends before I came here. Even after I was on my own, after my parents left me. But I came here, and," The white haired girl suddenly gestured wildly with one hand. "I'm not smart enough to explain it. But last night, I was trying to sleep and I couldn't. Without Yama in the van, it's just... lonely." ----------------------- "Mm. Just stretching my wings a bit and spotted you." She reached out one hand and delicately traced the pattern of wolves that decorated the wood. "It's beautiful," the shifter murmurmed. She stepped aside as Kanec placed it inside Nylat's van. "That Nylat has some hidden talents, it seems." "A new form?" Her pointed ears perked up. "Sounds like fun. If Raffy's busy, why not let me help?" She smiled suddenly, eyes lighting up. "In fact, we can make it a challenge. Let's see who can come up with the best sea-creature shift by the end of the day. I haven't had many chances before now to shift into water animals. Besides, I could use a distraction to get my mind off some... things."
"I WISH THAT PUNCTUATION HAD A PHYSICAL FORM SO I COULD SMOTHER YOU WITH IT."

Kanec nodded. "Indeed she does. She actually started working on that just after we met Maya. Didn't take her too terribly long to finish it. Maybe leter you can convice her to show you it's true beauty. She claims only she can do so." He flicked an ear as Disera suggested letting her help with his shifting, and even made it into a challenge. He smiled, already thinking of what he was going to do. He gave her a skeptical look at the last sentence, but nodded. "Fine. You got yourself a challenge." ((Pff. Just needed to post for him. Makes my post look even more fail. DX))
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

Spyne and Tapp didn't flinch when Zinc's face changed, merley stepping a bit closer to each other, so that their shoulders touched. They did however, start when Evan let out a shreik that sounded like some woman who had spotted a mouse. "With all due respect, Mr. Blodwin, you're a moron," Tapp said, raising one shadowy eyebrow. Then, both girl found themselves being struck with what seemed to be a large, glittery picture frame, snapping their heads to the side. Then, both figures were tossed uncerimoniously out, one landing on top of the other. Tapp winced at all the cursing drifting from Spider's van, then managed to dodge a locked suitcase as it shot out a window, ducking swiftly. "Well, it seems you have a backbone after all," Spyne remarked, earning her a yank on the pigtail from her sister. "Spyne, be quiet," Was the muttered response. Spyne rolled her glowing eyes and turned to the sobbing Evan. All the while, Tapp had been watching Spider clamber out. Spotting a piar of shoes that she had narrowly avoided in the van, the girl picked them up and offered them to the boy. "If you're going to leave, at least take these," The shadow begged quietly, her hair writhing with a sound similar to cloth rubbing against cloth. "Otherwise, you might cut up your feet." Spyne crossed her arms at Evan's whining, and hissed, "Galahad, you idoit. No one's going to mutilate you." At that point, Tapp growled, set down Spider's shoes, and turned, stalking to stand in front of the trembling man. "Hopefully, without offending you too much, shut up," At this point, both shadow twins drew their hands back and slapped Evan in quick sucession, one after the other. "Much better," Spyne muttered, turning her head towards a whistling noise. "Hmmph. Mybe now, he can learn to stand up for himself, Bubblegum," She growled, she and her sister sitting in unison. ---------------------- Dravius grinned, setting the rest of the fruit up on the table. "Aww, she's just playing, Maya. Kids do that. It's just you and I who didn't. Well, I did. You were born old." Laughing slightly, he added, "Also, have I ever told you that it's adorable when you try to act angry?" Settling back into his chair, he grinned wider, leaning back again. "Now, stupid or not, I'm telling you to eat something." The Co-Master had a slightly mischevious look on his face as he collected another plate of fruit and a plate of still-steaming waffles for Maya, holding it out to her with one eyebrow raised. Yawning, he set all four feet of the chair on the ground, and tapping a quick beat on the wood of the table. He jumped slightly at a series of crashes and screamed words. "I do belive that that's Spider, and that weird little man from yesterday." Sighing, Dravius decided to ignore it for now. Breakfast was an all engrossing thing right now, at least in his opinion. Coughing slightly, he crossed his arms, and tapped his feet quickly. "I'm probably going to have to check that out, aren't I?"
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Yawning, Julian stood basking in the rays of sun, looking very different with the lack of his leather jacket. The arms that were usually covered by said material were both slender and slightly muscular, his build lean. The lack of the black collar revealed the skin of dark males neck and build of his shoulders. Despite the fact he was, in this state, somewhat more revealed, the white t-shirt seeming to lighten the male's image, his dark air was still very much present, and his gaze was no less threatening. Running one hand over his eyes, Julian looked towards the beach, watching as Kioko made her way over then began to converse with the Ring-master. The tall males sharp eyes had told him everything he needed to know about her current mood. She certainly was not happy. He watched the two for a good few minutes, until a number of loud, thudding noises caused him to glance over his shoulder. Oh what the hell. Honestly, if there was just one more person causing trouble he was likely to run a sword through someone. Taking one step forward, the Sword-Master seemingly dissapeared from where he stood, coming to an abrupt andsteady stop on the roof of Spiders van, his eyes focused on the boy in question, who seemed desperate to get away. Well. That much he could guess judging by the suitcase and shoeless state. He then looked at Zinc and... Well. Someone he didn't know, before allowing his gaze to fall on the shadow twins. "You two," He said quietly. "Zephyre was looking for you earlier. Perhaps you should go find him?" Looking back towards Spider, the Sword Master raised an eyebrow. "Leaving?" He asked, his voice neither interested or curious. But heck, he had nothing else to do. May as wellsee what all the commotion was about. Besides, it was probably about time. This kid had clearly reached the end of his tether. No surpise. ~~~ "I know she was just playing, Dravius," Maya responded with another slight smile. "Surprises me, actually. You don't exactly look like cuddling material," She added, her ex pression slightly amused as she watched the Co-Master deal with the rest of the fallen fruit. She puffed her cheeks out at him again however at his next comment. "You'll always be a kid," She huffed, elbowing him in the stomach. Alright. It wasn't hard, but it didn't need to be. It wasn't like he could feel it anyway. Frowning slightly, she looked at the gathered fruit on the plate, then glanced back towards the tall, white haired youth when he spoke again. Adorable? She blinked at him for a moment, then blushed furiously and pouted, grumbling under her breath as she looked at the floor in an an embaras.sed manner, pulling lightly on the gauze on her arm. Acting angry, pfft... Ridiculous. It was just too bad she couldn't stay angry at this dope. Things would be much easier. Pfft. Sighing, a slight blush still visible on her features, she looked up to watch him hold out the plate of waffles and try to keep herself from smiling at him. Taking it out of his hands, she chose not to retort to his recommending comments, setting the hot plate on the table in front of her, next to the fruit. The girl barely had time to settle herself when the disturbance outside caused her to wince. Ugh. She hadn't fully recovered from that feeling of being over-whelmed, and the mere thought that something else may be going wrong caused her to close her eyes for a moment, before glancing off towards the door. Really. If something else was happening, she was going to abandon breakfast and go sit in a tree somewhere. "Weird little man?" She asked, looking over at Dravius with a slight frown. At his last comment, she refrained from sighing again, looking back towards the door, Spiders van just visible in the distance. "It looks like Julians there. So is Tapp and Spyne," She murmered, sighing quietly through her nose before she smiled somewhat sadly at the Co-Master. "It never seems to end around here, huh?" She asked breaking off a small piece of waffle and looking at it, her face abstracted and strained. She wasnt too sure about eating anymore. "Go and check it out if you feel you need to," She added, looking away from the waffle piece with a slight frown, proceeding to break the rest of it apart without showing any signs she was going to eat it, her ex pression subdued. ~~~ "Ah" Raphael murmered, smiling sadly at Kioko. "I'm sorry. It's no surprise really, what with our week," He glanced at the ocean, then turned his gaze back to the clearly upset pyro. "We can't really blame her, or any of them, for that matter, and there are always those people who will leave. It's part of the way things here. People can, and do, find lives elsewhere," He ran a hand through his hair, looking over his shoulder at the vans when he heard distant noises of a commotion. He chose not to investigate, after all, there were many Circus members, and it was likely one or two of them were already addressing the issue. "If it helps, Maybe you could stay with Maya once she improves," He paused, then raised his eyebrows. "I take it she came out of her van if she spoke to Dravius?" Raphael let loose a quiet sigh of relief. "About time too... I spent a good hour the other night trying to get her out of it," He smiled slightly at Kioko. Well, if Maya was finally getting out, maybe things were going to improve with her. He could hope, he supposed. "There will always be other people here for you Kioko, if you need someone to talk to,"
