[[those shoes are being thrown back at their heads. probably to be followed by small children and Julian. Spider is very angry. D: he is going to grow up (more) into a super villain. also Derp Kanec does win.]] Spider was about to rip the shoes out of Tapp's hands when she offered them to him, but with all of his hissing and heavy breathing he wasn't able to react quick enough before they were insulting nice Mr. Evan again. "You don't talk to him like—" his suitcase dropped out of his hands, and he curled his hand into a fist. Hitting. That was not nice. Especially when Evan was doing nothing but worrying for HIM. Fine. Everyone was always looking out for him, and now they were getting hurt for it. Spider would have none of that! The shoes took off, cracking Tapp and Spyne in the head in quick succession. "Don't TOUCH HIM! How dare you— you think you're what, LOOKING OUT FOR YOUR OWN?! I'm not ONE OF YOU, okay?! And what kind of behavior is that!? NO, you don't care about anyone! You just like hurting people! LEAVE HIM ALONE." Spider's suitcase very nearly went flying at Julian, but stopped in mid air a few feet away from him. It crashed to the ground with a soft thump, and then Spider pressed his hands to his head. His nose was bleeding, and he seemed to be trying to get a handle on his horrible rage. "I'm leaving... I'm leaving when they're DEAD or they... or they leave... ughhhh... Mr..." Spider's eyes screwed shut and he took a deep breath. Speaking was hard. He felt all dizzy all of a sudden. - - - "Oh yeah, that's gonna convince him otherwise! You know how damn sheltered the Blodwens are? Great lasting impression you're having on him— HITTING NOW? Okay that's—" Zinc was about to intervene, and stopped halfway from tackling the shadow tards to the ground as Spider's shoes collided with their foreheads. "Tartarus Himself did you deserve THAT. I hope he accidentally rips you in half. Lasting mental damage would make up for how HAPPY that would make me." Zinc was about to help Evan up, but he had vanished yet again. "...Sonuvaleopard." Hearing Julian made him feel a bit self conscious about his face. But it was early in the morning and he was far too angry to care. In fact, his appearance grew even more grotesque, and his voice reflected it, turning into a guttural hissing rasp. "Julian, what the hell! Aren't you security? Get your clowns under control! They've had a case of breaking and entering, verbal abuse and a.ssault in the course of less than two minutes!" He let out a hiss. "Your dear circus master really DID get the short end of the stick. As much as Raphael tries to uphold a positive image for this place... his members make damn sure he doesn't succeed. One day, it's going to be the death of you." - - - Spider peeked over at them, hearing Zinc, and let out a noise. "You made him LEAVE. You SCARED HIM AWAY! I hope you're happy! Now I don't have ANY FAMILY. I hope I die, this is... this is..." Surrounding objects started to shake, and then stopped abruptly as Spider started to cry. Bitter, wailing, tears. But he wasn't going to let them try to comfort him, oh no. NO NO NO no one was going to touch him. He focused around himself until felt the air around him swirl and whip. If anyone got close he'd just push them away. Until he DIED. That would be the only thing to stop him.
The force of concentrating so hard was resulting in (most likely) severe brain hemorrhaging, but Spider was too upset to notice. He liked it better when he was in the attic all alone. There were spiders there. They kept him company. People ruined everything. Tears dribbled down his chin and mixed with the blood pouring out of his nose, and Spider sobbed and coughed at how awful the world was. - - -
There was really only one thing to do. CRY BITTERLY. So Evan did that for awhile, sitting on the ground in the same place he had been when he was viciously attacked. He considered hitting the silhouettes of the twins frozen in front of him, but he would never hurt a lady. Not even a vicious serial killer hellbent on scarring him for life. Someone of his age really shouldn't be crying, but this was too much stress and fear built up over four hours. It was a wonder he wasn't raving mad by now. Obviously there was only one thing to do after he felt better: He had no idea. Yama had been warned not to stay because that would bring Carly's men around. Maybe she should just come back. They were freakishly violent to innocent people who were only looking out for their nephews, he doubted it'd matter if armed gunmen came prancing through. At least the gunman would have half a mind to shoot them. Self defense. How warped he'd become in a few hours. He was hoping horrible men would come and shoot circus performers. No wonder Boris hated this place so much. If only Ger was still alive. He always knew how to act in any given situation. As Evan thought about it, maybe he had been a bit too dependent on the man— but he hadn't forseen himself having to defend himself from insane carnies in his future. Gervaise could never have perpared him for that, anyway.
Evan stood up. With time stopped the world was an eerie gray. Even after hanging out in it for ten years he still wasn't completely used to it. This Circus... what to do with it. He'd come back in a few years... well, a few minutes. For them, anyway. Maybe it'd only take a few months... where could he find Frail? Frail knew how to deal with these kind of things. Everyone had been told to stay away from Frail... but, a desperate man has to take desperate measures. It's not like he could ask Xerah. He'd just come in and light the place on fire. No, he needed to be the BETTER MAN here. It was going to be a long walk... And so Evan started walking. - - - Since he was obviously the only one here that genuinely cared about Spider (besides Kioko, what a nice girl), Zinc was of course the first to try and pick Spider up and drag him back to his van. That face bleeding didn't sit well with Zinc, and he was quite sure bleeding out of your head was a bad sign. The trouble was, was that that force of will was strong. Zinc barely got a finger within Spider's bubble before he was thrown backwards. He'd need to touch him to make him fall asleep. And he couldn't do that. It really sucked not being able to use his talents. Maybe the loss of blood would make him pa.ss out. Zinc really wouldn't want to wait 'til then, but didn't really have a choice. He needed to blame someone for this. He decided to blame Dravius. Somehow, this was also his fault.

((Mmn. Sorry guys. ;D You can have your competition later. We have issues to deal with. O_O)) Flying suitcase. Hm. Julian was pretty sure he could avoid it if it got too close, though it turns out he needn't have bothered. The case fell short of making contanct, and the dark haired Sword Master kept his steady gaze on the Spider boy. It seemed like one member after another was succumbing the built stress of the past week, each one of them letting loose like a tensed spring. Kioko, Maya, Spider. Sighing through his nose, the tall male glanced only fleetingly when Zinc spoke, seemingly paying no heed to the bogeymans change in appearance. Maybe he should be added to the list of those who were quickly reaching their peak. No wonder, really. He rolled his eyes and sighed again, sliding his hands into his pockets and closing his eyes. "Tapp, Spyne," He repeated, laying his gaze on the two before jerking his head slightly to one side. Basic Julian talk for get lost. It was obvious that their presence here was agitating the surrounding beings, though Julian had not, in fact, been present when they'd committed all of Zinc's accusations. Either way, it was probably best they move off, and if Julian was telling them it usually meant something. Looking back towards Spider, he watched in silence as Zinc was thrown away from the oys bubble, scratching a temple. It seemed calming this guy down was going to be a problem, though the Sword Master had a bit of inkling as to what could help. Could. He couldn't say whether or not it actually would. Still. Worth a shot. Turning his back to the group, he moved swiftly from the roof of Spiders van to come a stop besides Kanec and Disera. "I hate to interrupt your plans but I have a request," He glanced off in the general direction of Spiders van, waving a hand. "We have an incredibly irritated arachnid over there. I'd appreciate it if you'd go and talk to him before he decides to cause more damage to himself, or anyone else, for that matter," The Sword Master raised an eyebrow, looking back at the two. "Preferably in the form of something he'd rather not harm. Getting close is proving to be a problem," The tall male shrugged, then dissappeared again, pausing just where the beach started, his eyes on Raphael and Kioko in the distance. He had come in order to alert the Ring-Master to this slight... Issue... But with the presence of the pyro decided against it. He'd rather not upset anyone else just yet, and he knew for a fact after Yama's decision Kioko was probably not prepared to watch another leave. Not unless there was no way Spider could be convinced otherwise. Shrugging, he turned and walked off, heading back towards the Blodwens van. They just needed to get Spider calmed a little. Julian sincerely hoped Disera and Kanec would be of some use. It wasn't like there were all that many shifters around here, and he was pretty darn sure the Circus needed no-more of this. Raphael, after all, was not the only one looking after this place. ~~~ It wasn't easy for Zyano to miss those sounds, not with ears like his. His amber eyes immediately sought out the commotion, though failed to locate it due to it being within the midst of Circus vans just off the beach. His attention remained on said sounds for only a few moments more, before a movement caught his eye and he glanced to the vans edge. The hybrid from yesterday, the one that looked like a fox, had plopped herself on the ground looking more than just a little fed up. Hm. Seemed this place wasn't nearly as calm as Zyano had previously thought. The place was obviously in a state of some kind of turmoil, going by the sounds and visible expressions. Sniffing, Zyano stood, then promptly made his way over to the vans. Going by the way everyone had greeted him yesterday, his presence would only be of minor interest, and he'd be able to approach without much problem; Though he kept it fully in mind that he was probably being watched by inivisible guards or something. A Circus of Freaks would need some sort of seccurity after all. He jumped onto one of the vans in absoloute silence, before padding to the edge of it and flopping on his stomach, his eyes on the hybrid below. "You don't look particularly happy," He said, flicking his ears forward and searching his memories. "Your name is Nylat, I believe?"

Nylat gave a slight start at the sudden appearance of Zyano, before settling herself back on her side. She glanced up at him, not having enough energy to even debate on driving him off. Once she'd laid down, she'd realized just how exhausted she was. "Well, it hasn't been the happiest of weeks. You wouldn't know it, but it's been the worst week of my life since I escaped. Maybe even before then. It makes me wish I could perform and get this show on the road, rather than stay here. And yes, I am Nylat. Though if I recall properly, I didn't tell you my name. And neither did you tell me yours." ~~~ Kanec had been about to leave Disera to go work on his shift when Julian appeared seemingly out of nowhere. Well, he could have walked up with a band announcing his approach and Kanec would not have noticed, for all the attention he paid most of the time. At Julian's words, he flicked an ear. "Hm. Something he wouldn't harm, huh? Spiders definantly, but..Not sure on how well I can shift into arachnids. Never really had the need to. But I guess this is a good chance to try, eh?"

Dravius laughed a little more when the girl next to him coloured a deep red, sighing at Maya's questioning tone. "Some guy, yet another Blodwin. Short, creepy goatee, looked terrified. Then he disappeared," Shrugging, he popped a few more grapes into his mouth. "Uch. Spyne's gonna end up hitting something, and Tapp'll probably go along with it." Exhaling through his nose at her next comment, the co-master nodded, "It never does. It's enough to make one go mad, hmm?" Leaning back once again, Dravius glanced out the window just in time to spot a wildly rocking van, and a flying suitcase. Knocking his head gently against the table, Dravius stood, and leaned down, bringing his still-grinning face close to Maya's. "Eat," He said, gently touching his forehead to hers. "I don't want you to end up fainting," Stretching his arms over his head, the tall boy stepped out of the wagon, his grin fading before his bare feet touched the gras.s. In fact, he looked positively furious by his sixth step, his brows nearly meeting in the middle of his forehead. "Well...what's gone on here?" He asked, rather darkly. Tapp and Spyne, already taken aback by both Spider and Julian, took one look at the obviously very displeased Dravius, and sank into the ground, showing as shadows that quickly slithered away, gripping each other's hand. Dravius, watching Julian leave silently, he too watched Zinc get thrown back, and walked foreward carefully, stopping a good ten feet away, then resting on his haunches, watching the young boy bleed heavily. He said nothingm just turned, and took a whistle out of his pocket. Dravius's whitle was slim, and of some unknown, dark metal. He brought it to his lips a blew, never taking his eyes off of Spider. A minute or so later, a girl trotted up, with flaming red hair and smooth horns curling from that bright mane. Dravius muttered a few incomprehensible sentencesto Anur, who scurried off and and returned shortly, carrying a box, so large that she had difficulty wrapping her arms around while seeing over the top. The box was made of tightly woven mesh, glittering in the sun. The entire cage seemed to be jittering, making clicking noises, along with an occasional thud. Dravius pointed to a spot next to him silently, still keeping his blue eyes on the white-haired boy in front of him. "Anur, right there." Was the only words that emerged from his mouth, but the red-haired girl nodded furiously and set the cage down, opening the top to whisper with whatever was inside, sticking a hand in to pet it as well, before she cautiously removed the entire front side of the cage, undoing tiny hooks in the mesh. After a moment of pause, the gound was covered in a seething, roiling carpet of arachnids, from huge Tarantulas, and even a Camel Spider, to tiny spiders that could rest ten to the tip of your finger. The insects clustered nervously around Spider, shifting from four legs to four legs. Every so often one would try to approach further, only to be flung back to lie stunned on it's back, before shaking slightly and rushing back into the milling crowd.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Maya had been half-heartedly playing with her food when Dravius spoke, and she looked up to listen to him. Another Blodwen, hm?... They seemed to be coming from all over these days. She frowned slightly. It wasn't often somoene joined the Circus who had so many outside contacts. "For someone who constantly gets involved, yes," She replied, referring to Dravius's last comment ragarding people going mad with all this commotion. She felt that Raphael and Dravius were probably worse off, seeing as they usually had to deal with all these issues and problems. When it came to the other members, they were perfectly fine to just try and avoid it. She sighed quietly, through her nose, tearing another waffle piece in two with un-needed concentration, only looking back up when she heard the dull thud that was the Co-Master lightly headbutting the table. She watched him stand, moving back only slightly when he lowered his face to her level and blinking at his words. The girl smiled fleetingly at the tall youth when forehead made contact with hers, then watched him leave with a sad sort of ex pression. Sighing, Maya turned back to her waffles, looking at them for a moment before picking up a small piece and eating it. She still didn't feel particularly hungry, but she knew as well as anyone else that she needed to eat. ~~~ Julian paused a good distance away from Spider and the others, watching as Dravius approached, his eyes narrowing slightly. He refrained from sighing. Perhaps this was part of the problem. Whenever something went wrong, a crowd always appeared, probably because everyone was wanting to help in one way or another. Naturally, these crowds would prove to just make things worse. After all, if your stressed and pretty much just being Spider, a group of people around you was the last thing you needed. Crossing his arms, Julian watched the Co-Master try his own tactic, following his same train of thought on the arachnid line. Sure, that might help too. He still thought Disera and Kanec would be of some use, actually being able to communicate with the kid. Shrugging to himself, Julian turned his back and walked away. No point staying there. Doing so would probably just make thing worse, what with the arrival of Dravius and Anur. Crowding the kid might not be a good idea. He headed for the food van, intent on just getting out of the way for a while. As soon as he entered the vehicle he picked up an apple, then glanced over his shoulder to rest his eyes on Maya. "Good morning," He said quietly, leaning against the door frame and looking off in the general direction of Spiders van. The girl, wh had made her steady way through half the waffles, glanced up and smiled slightly. "Morning," She murmered, looking at a piece of waffle between her fingers. "What's going on out there?" She gestured at the door, looking up at the Sword Master with a frown. "Spider," Julian replied shortly. "It's Yama all over again," "He's leaving?" "He wants to," Julian sighed, finishing his apple and throwing the core into a nearby bin. Maya was looknig increasingly concerned as she spoke again. "Wait... You left him on his own out there like that?" "Not exactly. His usual company is present, and of course, Dravius just showed up alongside Anur," He frowned slightly. "I think that may be this place's problem. Too many of us try to get involved when there's a bump in the road," He shrugged, then headed out the door, waving to the butterfly as he left, heading in no place particular. Maya spent a couple of minutes simply thinking, before she turned and pressed her back to the wall of the van, ignoring the food left on her plate as she lifted her legs up and crossed them. It made sense, she supposed. She hadn't wanted to be crowded last night when she'd locked herself away. Even now, she still felt unsure. Sighing, the girl looked out of a nearby window, which had a view of the beach. Maybe Julian had a point. She frowned, then sighed, her ex pression sad. Whatever. She'd just stay here til it blew over. She was tired of all of this. ~~~ Worst week of her life?... "That's quite the statement," Zyano replied, laying his head on his paws and watching the fox hybrid silently. "And no, you never told me your name. It was the girl, Tara, who mentioned it. As for me, my name is Zyano," He flicked an ear towards the beach, before lifting himself to sit on his haunches. As curious as he was to know just what had happened here, he was also too polite to ask or even mention it. With a slight shrug of his furred shoulders, he stood up, jumped from the van, and padded off. He stopped some distance away, sitting down and facing Nylat. "You said you want to get moving?" He glanced towards the vans, his amber eyes curious. Maybe... Just maybe, tagging along with this... Circus, wouldn't be a bad idea.

Disera smiled back at him. "Good to hear it. Well, why don't we get to it?" She began to run through the different sea creatures she knew of when Julian suddenly appeared next to them. "Whoa! What's going on?" the shifter asked uneasily. It was unusual for the normally solitary sword master to simply approach out of the blue like this. Not unless there was something important to be discussed. The shifter tensed as Julian made his request, her tails twitching. "Just great," she muttered. Like yesterday hadn't been dramatic enough. "I could try, Julian," she responded. As the black haired man walked away, she turned back to Kanec. "I've shifted into a tarantula. It was just the one time, but I think it would work for this. Spider has already seen that form, so it won't surprise him." Disera listened to Kanec speak, nodding in understanding when he finished. "I'll go ahead, and see what I can do for him. Come on when you think you've got it and back me up. I'll probably need help to talk him down." She spread her wings and took off, flying over the circus vans until she spotted the chaotic scene that was unfolding near the human arachnid's van. Landing, the shifter was startled by the white haired boy's appearence, most alarming the blood dribbling from his nose. "What the hell happened to him?" she demanded, looking over at Zinc. "I thought you were supposed to be his guardian, how did he end up like this?" Without waiting for an answer, Disera strode forward, noting the small mob of spider's that were currently trying to reach him. It seemed Julian wasn't the only one with this idea. She just hoped she would have more luck than the arachnids that were being flipped over and repelled by Spider's power. Disera came to stand beside beside Dravius, watching the sad sight. "I hope he can hear me," she said, before shifting into her spider form. Inching forward, it took her several moments to manuver through the mas.s of other spiders, having to occasionally climb over one whenever it refused to moved. Disera stopped a few inches from the whirling barrier of wind, wondering how best to approach. "Spider!" the shifter called out, braving another few inches closer to him. Her progress was stopped when the wall of wind pushed her back into the crowd of arachnids. "Oh, move already," she snapped as she wriggled free. Skittering around to face him, Disera tried again. "Spider? Can you hear me?" She waved one front at him to gain his attention. "What is it that's gotten you so worked up? What happened?" ------------------------ "You don't really need to apologize," Kioko told Raphael quietly. "It's not like what's happened is your fault." She idly ran her fingers over the sand, listening to the circus master's words about Yama. "Still. I'm going to miss her. She left her cloak, so maybe she'll come back someday." The white haired girl rubbed her fingertips against her thumb, watching the grains of sand as they fell to the ground. "I don't want her to be here if it makes her unhappy, of course. But I didn't really get to say goodbye, so I want to see her again just once." She dusted off the remaining sand on her jeans, looking over at Raphael when he mentioned staying with Maya. "I'd like that, but... I don't want to crowd her. She probably doesn't want someone always hanging around in her space." "Well, she was going to leave, actually. But Nylat and Selvai kept her from going. Dravius talked her out of it." Kioko ducked her head again, blushing slightly. "Thank you, Mister Raphael. For talking with me." She fidgeted with the crutch that was placed beside her on the beach. "I know I get upset over stupid things." ----------------------- Covering his yawn with one hand, Selvai looked around the inside of the van, not seeing Disera anywhere. Already gone, then. Standing up, the magician combed his hair out of his face and proceeded to get dressed. Stepping outside, Selvai strolled to the food van and entered, idly wondering if Disera had bothered to eat any sort of breakfast after she had woken that morning. After picking out a few pieces of fruit, Selvai spotted a familar face among the crowd in the van and headed in that direction. "Good morning," he greeted Maya, noting with some relief that the buterfly seemed to be attempting to eat a waffle. "Would it be alright if I ate breakfast with you today, Maya?"

((No, Selvai. It ISN'T okay.)) Dravius watched Disera dive into the mas.s of spiders, sighing. He murmered to himself, "Well, s'about it." He lifted himself off of his haunches, stretching onto his tiptoes, and twisting his spine from side to side. He shook his head quickly, still with a dark ex pression on his face. "Not like I can do anything other than that." He turned to Anur, who shivvered and shrunk under the Co-Master's thick blue gaze. It was very easy to forget that the tall, usually friendly boy could be indeed dangerous. The way Anur saw it, Dravius was ultimately frightening, especaily when his icy gaze was aimed at her. At this point, the youth's light eyes were nearly sending out lasers. "Do you think you could get your spiders to be a bit quieter? I doubt Spider can hear the one that's talking to him," The crowd of insects were making a racket of clicks, squeaks, and rustles. The girl nodded, and stepped forewards to touch the back of a huge spider, whispering something to it. One by one, the spiders all grew silent, still attempting to breach Spider's barrier. Dravius nodded, and said softly, "Thank you. Can they stay here for a bit without anyone else?" At the short nod from Anur, the boy turned and began walking away, flicking a hand behind him. Anur relucatantly followed the frightening Co-Master, back into the breakfast van, where she quickly split away to sit with four of Rev. Dravius went back to his spot by Maya, slipping past Selvai to sit in the other empty seat, that lay on the other side of the blonde haired girl. "Hello, Selvai. Hi, Julian," The boy's face was still fairly stormy as he waved a hand at the two. "Already quite an eventful day. And all I was aiming for was to lie on the beach..." Coughing, he leaned back carefully until the top of his chair made contact with the wall, and he looked at Maya's plate. "Seems like you have as much trouble eating as I do," The corner's of Dravius's mouth twitched upwards, as he pulled a shred of waffle from Mayanna's plate. Slipping it past his lips, the Co-Master smiled a little wider, closing his eyes and setting his head against the wall of the van. "In fact, I think Raphael's lounging about on the sand right now. I'm jealous," Pouting, the boy glanced out the window. "Oh, there's Kioko," Then, as an afterthought, "Why's she up?" Sighing, Dravius just went back the setting his face against the table, his eyes half-closed.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

"Maybe not... But I have this unfortunate habit of probably taking more of the blame... Personally, anyway." Raphael replied to Kioko's comment with a slight smile, glancing off towards the ocean. The sun was strong, despite the fact it was only morning, and the blonde Ring-Master blew a small strand of hair out of his face. He glanced sideways at Kioko as she continued to speak, this time about Yama, and Raphael sighed quietly. "Understandable," He murmered, yawning once before crossing his legs and laying his elbows on his knees; His gaze having fallen to the sand. "And I'm positive Maya wouldn't mind. She's awfully good with people, that one. She'd probably be happy to have you as a roommate," He smiled slightly at the pyro, rubbing at one of the black tattoos that curled around his wrists. He returned to his semi-attentive state, and only reacted at the fire girls next statement. "What?!" He asked sharply, on the verge of getting to feet, though he didn't. Kioko had explained before he need panic. "Oh, that girl," He sighed, placing his face into one of a palm, the eblow still on his knee. He'd had absoloutely no idea she'd wanted to leave. That wasn't something Maya would do. Frowning, Raphael looked back at the girl next to him, catching her slight blush and raising an eyebrow, replying to her last words. "Oh... Don't worry about it. It's not stupid. People get attached, it's normal... Particularly for people like us. It's pretty easy to cling to something," He smiled, then glanced back towards the ocean. "Does that ankle of yours still hurt?" ~~~ Having been somewhat busy in her own thoughts, mostly about how the vacation had proved to be... Well, not what it was supposed to, it took a moment for Maya to realise fully that someone had been addressing her. Blinking, she looked up at Selvai with his bowl of fruit, then smiled fleetingly. "Sure," She replied, uncrossing her legs and lifting them from the chair she resided in. It's was a mere second or two after that Dravius re-appeared, and the butterfly watched the stormy faced youth with a slight frown. Well. Whatever had happened outside was definately not good if Dravius was walking around with a face like that. She couldn't help thinking it was a good thing they weren't doing any shows. With that ex pression, Dravius would probably scare off the audience. Maya watched in silence as he greeted Selvai and julian, the latter of whom had already left the van, and only looked back to watch him steal a bit of waffle. Not that she cared, she felt like she'd eaten enough. Sighing slightly, the blonde girl started playing with a small piece of her breakfast, pouting slightly at Dravius. "Go lay on the beach then. It's your own fault, getting yourself stressed, going off all the time and taking on everyone elses problems," She sniffed, looking back at the leftover waffle for a moment before following the Co-Masters gaze to the window. "Go join him," She said, watching as the Co-Master smushed his face into the table. Going to talk to Kioko was probably something she should do. Just to see how she was. "Might do that myself," She murmered under her breath. Standing up, the girl slipped past Dravius and paused by the van door, flaring her wings slightly for balance and holding onto the door frame; Looking outside and towards the beach, only sparing a fleeting glance in Spiders van's direction. It would help, probably, to head to the shore... The beach didn't seem too crowded today, the open space would be very welcome to Maya. Besides, many members were beginning to swarm the food van, and right now. The butterfly didn't want to feel too cramped. Her nerves hadn't completely recovered. ~~~ Julian, having missed Dravius's greeting, obviously didn'trespond and simply continued to walk, seemingly without aim. In reality however, he was heading back to Spiders van, but not to try and solve the problem. Merely to watch. The Sword Master, after all, was one of the many members of the Circus who took it on themselves to keep an eye on things. A few steps away from the food van, he dissapeared into thin air, reappearing in a tree some distance behind where Zinc stood, and the swarming crowd of Spiders. He noted that Disera had finally made an appearance, and stood with his shoulder to the tree trunk, his eyes on the scene below. Guess they'd see if this worked or not.

"Whoo beach!" Dravius jumped up, grinning hugely. "Bye!" He called, slipping out the door and into his van, only to emerge a minute or so later wearing a pair of swimshorts, all black save for three white stripes that wrapped around his left leg. Nearly sprinting towards the beach, the Co-Master skidded to a stop on the edge of the sand, picking up a heaping handful of the smooth white grains. The boy stood behind the serious Raphael, and he shot a wide grin at Kioko, letting the load of sand cascade over Raphael's hair and face. "And how was your sleep, Raph?" He asked, leaning over so that his grinning face hung in front of the sandy Ringmaster's, completely upside down. He then stuck his tongue out, the purple-black tip of it nearly coming in contact with the spot between his old friend's eyes. Standing back up, Dravius sat down with a thud, then flopping onto his back. "Hiiiiiii, Kioko!" He waved exuberantly, sitting back up. "Odd, I'm even more hyperactive than the last time I went four days without eating anything." Shrugging, he rolled over to rest his elbows on the sand, and in turn hs chin on his hand. "Oh, Kioko, Maya's trying the stairs on the food van. She didn't want to be carried," The Co-Master's manner of speaking was very quick at this point, and he was grinning hugely. He did a quick handstand, walking circles around the seated Ringmaster, as steady on his hands as his feet. Switching to hop lightly on one hand, Dravius tilted his head, using a cartwheel to pop back to his feet in front of Kioko. "Y'see, this is why I don't usually eat, Miss Kioko, I get really quite hyper, or I fall asleep for a large number of hours." He still wore a smile wider than the Cheshire Cat's, and sharper than a shark's. "I just remembered, we don't have a file for you yet. We'll have to take a few pictures...." He seemed to think for a second, tapping a finger against his lips, only a ghost of a smile still on his face. Dravius shook his head, flipping back onto his hands. "I'll see if Anur'll take them for me," Thudding onto his back in his original spot, his arms and legs spreadeagled. "I'm- I'mma go to sleep, now..." Dravius trailed off, slipping slowly into unconsciousness. He seemed oddly peaceful, breathing slowly and regularly. He was still smiling slightly, although not the huge one of before. Rolling onto his side, the Co-Master reached out a hand and drowsily took hold of the hem of Raphael's sleeve, muttering something about undeveloped film and cumulus clouds.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Nylat looked up at Zyano, still on her side. "Yes. Very true statement, too. And Tara has too good a memory for her own good." She snkickered atthis, knowing that the other hybrid would not know the reason behind it unless Tara herself had told him. "And I'd normally say it's nice to meet you, Zyano, but this week has sorta thrown my good mood out the wondow and into a volcano." She let her head fall back to the ground, and sighed, lifting her head back up again when he asked about her wanting to get going. "Yeah, I wanna get moving. But it's doubtful it'll happen until the week's over. Despite the week, the Circus is large enough that some of the members still hold good peace. And we promised everyone a vacation, despite it turning out to not be." She sighed again and flopped her head back on the ground, closing her eyes and shifting her bad foot a bit closer to herself. ~~ Kanec nodded as Disera left, and thought about the anatomy of a spider. Disera would be a tarantula, but he was going to choose a smaller form to take, one he'd seen many times. A wolf spider. Closing his eyes, he shifted, and suprisingly, it worked. Being smug to himself, he scurried off to join Disera, taking a while to make his way through the mas.s of arachnids. He stood beside Disera, watching Spider carefully.
"You're off the edge of the map, mate. Here there be monsters."

[[ffff, could be better. D:]] Flipping out and launching himself at tiny spider Disera wouldn't be a good plan. As much as he'd love to scoop up all those spiders and throw them a football field away. He was, however, about to do SOMETHING. He wasn't sure what yet, but he had a muderous intent when he stood up to glower around at everyone and everything. That was when Evan came back.
He appeared without any fanfair and looked around with confusion. It was a stern, unsurprised confusion. Zinc wondered how he could make such an ex pression. The situation had certainly escalated in the few minutes he'd been gone. But then, how he remembered it, it was a bit fuzzy. Going back and forth like that... he wouldn't do that for a while, not if he could help it.
Despite being gone for quite longer than a few minutes, Evan was still wearing the same clothes. Whether he planned this or it was entirely accidental is just one of those mysterious things. "Oh dear, that's not good. Hopefully he won't faint." Evan remarked, noticing Spider's predicament. Zinc hissed at him, "This is your fault." Evan looked around at him, a frown on his face. "No, it isn't." He said, and turned away, his nose practically in the air.
Zinc continued to hiss, and then turned around. "I'll... fff... I'll be back." He grumbled. "If he isn't fixed when I get back... I'll break a rule... a..." he didn't finish his sentence, and Evan was a bit relieved when the strange man slithered off. Looking for... shadows, Evan would presume. Where had he left his notes about this date? Truly not the best time to loose them.
He stepped a bit away from the ma.ss of spiders. There wasn't anything he could do while Spider was throwing his tantrum, so he waited for the nice talking spider to coax him out.
- - -
Spider's eyes peeked open at Disera's little voice, and the whirlwind of pain surrounding him ebbed slightly. He had ignored the other ones. He didn't want to think about them. "I don't... wanna talk about... ugh... ask stupid..." He trailed off, eyes unfocusing as he stared blankly forward. The wind gave one last shove and then stopped completely as his eyes rolled up in his head. He was about to fall forward and decimate a bunch of tiny eight legged lives, but Evan had gingerly stepped up after the last burst of air and caught him around the shoulders. He promptly shoved his handerchief under the boys nose.
"Don't let his head lean back, or he'll drown." Evan looked up, as if for some help, and then back at Spider, moving him a bit forward so that there was no risk of him falling on his back and drowning in his own nosebleed. "I know that. Shush." Nose bleeds. What did he know about telekenetics and nose bleeds? Absolutely nothing. Hopefully someone around here had a medical book. "Where did that boogey go? No help whatsoever."

Kioko laid her head sideways on her knees, watching the circus master as he talked. "You shouldn't," the pyro told him softly. "Even if you are in charge, you can't be responsible for everything." She pulled a strand of white hair from in front of her eyes, twisting it between two fingers as she listened to his suggestion of rooming with Maya. "I'd like to ask her, but since she's kind of sick right now, I don't want to bother her." Her eyes flicked downward for a moment before she continued. "Plus I don't want to accidentally set any of her plants on fire. I still lose control, sometimes." The white haired pyro dropped one hand to her side, running her thumb along the side of her crutch. She flinched at Raphael's sharp exclamation, relaxing after he dropped his head into his hand. "Um," She fidgeted awkwardly, not knowing what to say until the blonde spoke again. "Oh... It's a little better today. It's kind of stiff, but it doesn't hurt as much." Kioko bit her bottom lip shyly. "I guess I should have listened to Dravius and stayed off of it last night." The pyro was interrupted from saying anything further when the white haired boy showed up, promptly dumping sand over the circus master's head and performing a series of hyperactive moves. Kioko merely stared at him for a few moments when he spoke, a bit stunned by the speed of the encounter. "Um, alright," Kioko replied when Dravius finally collapsed on the sand. She looked over at Raphael, wide eyed. "Is he alright?" ----------------------- The magician took a seat next to the butterfly, smiling back at her. He picked out a slice of cantaloupe from the as.sortment of fruit and took a bite, chewing slowly and swallowing before he spoke. "You seem to be in better spirits today, Maya. I as.sume the talk with Dravius last night cheered you up." His eyes traveled to the bits of waffle scattered across her plate and his lips quirked up in a smile. "Although it looks like your appetite hasn't returned yet." The magician nodded as Dravius appeared and lapsed into silence during their conversation, eating his food as he listened to the pair. Selvai finished and stood up from the table, walking over to the corner and placing the bowl with the other dirty dishes. He began to walk back, only to see that Dravius and Maya had both left the table. He spotted the butterfly in the doorway of the van, frowning when he noticed the way she gripped the door for as.sistance as she stood. Sighing, the magician shook his head slightly. It seemed she was far from recovered, physically at least. He strode over to the doorway, smiling cheerfully at Maya. "It's a beautiful day, isn't it? I believe Dravius has the right idea about going down to the beach." He held out one hand to the unsteady butterfly. "Would you like to come with me? We could see what Raphael and Kioko are up to." ----------------------------- "Stupid? Who's stupid?" Disera asked the incoherent human arachnid. "Whoa!" The blue skinned shifter skittered backwards as Spider began to fall, relieved when the newcomer managed to show up in time to catch him. She skittered over beside Kanec nervously. "Uh. Not good. All of you back up so I can have some room here," she told the other spiders. "You too, Kanec," she ordered the other shape shifter. "Okay, now." Shifting back into her true form, Disera carefully scooted forward, helping Evan hold Spider upright. "Oh. Not good," she muttered distractedly. "We need first aid. Um. Dravius. Yes. I think he knows... medical stuff. He could help." The blue skinned shifter pulled the hem of her long dress upward to gently wipe the blood and tears off Spider's face while she continued rambling. "Oh. And, um. Anur. To round up all the little ones here. So they don't get underfoot. Definitely. Kanec, could you get them? Quickly? Please?" She continued wiping at the blood, ignoring the mob of various spiders that were still scurrying around in alarm. It took a conscious effort to keep her tails from swishing in agitation and knocking them through the air. Deep breaths, that's all. Stay calm. Focus on something else besides the blood. "So. Thanks for the help. And keeping Spider from falling on us just then." Disera told the goatee wearing man holding the arachnid by the shoulders. "Very nice of you. What's your name by the way?"
"I WISH THAT PUNCTUATION HAD A PHYSICAL FORM SO I COULD SMOTHER YOU WITH IT."

Having been watching the scene in silence, Julian saw Dravius and Anure leave, leaving Spider alone with Zinc, Disera and Kanec, as well as the swarm of writhing spiders. The Sword Master as.sumed it was better this way, with less people around (Kanec and Disera not really included thanks to their current forms), though he wondered whether or not the huge crowd of Spiders would pose a problem. It's basically the same thing. Over-crowding. Hence the reason Julian had asked only the Shifters to get involved.
Sighing through his nose, Julian watched Zinc's agitated ex pression for a moment, before glancing back towards Spider just in time to see Evan appear. He raised an eyebrow only slightly. This man, he had been the one who had followed Spider yesterday. He continued to watch like some dark sentinel as Zinc slinked off, then Spider seemed to lose all fight, being held up only by Evan. With a sigh, Julian prepared himself to move from where he was, just in case the new Blodwen needed as.sistance. There were 2 members, after all, already down there with him. Watching as Disera moved to as.sist Evan, Julian finally moved from where he stood, stopping some distance behind the summoned creature. "I can get a hold of him," He said, glancing at Kanec before disspaearing again. ~~~ Maya's moment of silent contemplation lasted all of 30 seconds before Dravius chose that moment explode with hyper-activeness, practically flying out of the van door and off towards his own. The butterfly winged teen barely had time to bl ink as she watched the tall youth head toward the beach, before sighing quietly. Honestly. He should probably stop eating if he was going to do this all the time. Saying that, she should probably have been used to it by now.
Pouting slightly, Maya managed quite well with a couple of steps, though her pace was not at all ideal. She had been about to step down yet again when she had to pause, looking over her shoulder when she heard Selvai's voice. "It is," She replied to his first statement, glancing skyward. It was really ,really warm out here today. She looked back at the magician when he held out his hand, and she blinked once before sighing. Nnn. Nothing quite like feeling helpless. She'd had enough of feeling this way as a kid. Well. If it helped her pace, she supposed.
"Um... Alright," She murmered, reaching out a hand and grasping hold of Selvai's with a slightly apologetic smile. As long as she had something, or in this case, someone, supporting her even slightly, she felt she'd probably be fine. Ah well. With any luck, this lack of strength would soon improve. ~~~ Flicking an ear, Zyano listened to Nylat in silence, sat on his haunches, his eyes visibly curious. He had, naturally, always as.sumed a vacation was something to be enjoyed, what with the scuffle people made over it, specifically human beings. Going by the fox hybrids tone, however, this clearly was not a vacation, not if anyone wasn't enjoying anyway. As curious as he was to know the root of this displeasure, he chose not to address it. It wasn't really any of his business.
"Ah. I see," He replied, exhaling lengthily through his nose, before standing up and shaking his sandy pelt. "I hope the situation improves for you, and the others," He added, guessing that others were probably involved. "Perhaps I'll see you again,"
Glancing towards the vans and beach, Zyano bowed his head slightly to Nylat, before turning on his tail and heading back toward the wood, away from the beach. He didn't feel quite up to committing himself to getting involved with the Circus. It did seem, however, going by the female hybrids words, he had a few days to think about it. He would of course, keep close to the Circus. Just in case. Maya almost started walking as soon as she held onto Selvai's hand, gently tugging him in the general direction of the beach. She was, needless to say, a little eager to get away from the milling and ever growing crowds. ~~~ "Ah well... It's one of my bad habits I guess," Raphael laughed, glancing off towards the ocean. "Maybe you should ask her when she's feeling better. As for your ability, you can always practice outside the van it shouldn't be too bad," He smiled at the white haired girl, nodding. "And good. Trust Dravius's advice. He's probably the best when it comes to ailments and injuries," The tall blonde again looked towards the sea, just before he felt Dravius dump a load of sand onto his head. He had little time to react or even answer the Co-Masters question before he was looking at his upside-down face. Shaking his hair free of sand and closing his eyes to make sure he didn't irritate them, he leant back slightly when he opened them again, blinking and looking bewildered at the boys active nature. "You let that toungue of yours touch me even slightly and I will lock you in your own imagination for a while," He said, watching with a snort as Dravius lifted himself up, going on to perform a number of acrobatics. The kid never changed. "Whatever got you so happy?" He asked, raising his eyebrows. He watched the boy carefully, then sighed when he started dozing, grasping hold of one of Raphael's sleeves on his shirt that lay on the sand beside him. He watched for a moment, then looked at Kioko when she spoke, actually laughing at her words. "He's just fine. He does this, not often, but he does. Its normal. As soon as he's sleeped it off he'll be back to his old self. Stupid kid needs to find something else to cling to," He smiled, looking at the boys grip on his sleeve. It was probably about time he found something else to get comfort from, after all, Dravius was no longer 11. At that moment, Julian appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, and Raphael looked at him as the Sword Master mercilessly kicked Dravius lightly in the side. "Get up. Spider requires mmedical as.sistance. Your the one best suited for this," The Ring Master blinked, then gbegan brushing sand from his pants. "What's happened?" He asked in a serious tone of voice, his eyes on the dark male. "It's nothing too serious. The kid over-exerted himself is all," Shrugging, Julian glanced at Dravius and spoke again. "Don't take too long," He added, before turning on his heel and walking away. He could leave everyone else to deal with this. It wasn't really his place to do much about it.

It took Dravius a moment to registered Julian's foot connecting with his side, but after a bit, he moaned slightly and sat up, his hair covered in sand. "Medical. Got it." Yawning hugely, the Co-Master got to his feet, bending backwards to lock his hands around his ankles, the motion producing a rolling string of cracks. Straightening up, he sighed, muttering, "Now I need to go get all my stuff. They need to make swimsuits with larger pockets," Coughing, he tapped his toes on the sand, shaking his head to dislodge a large shower of light grains, and turned to Kioko. "Sorry. I hadn't eaten in a while. I get a little fidgety afterwards. You look appropriately freaked out." Coughing more, he stuck his tongue out and said quietly, "Bleck. My enitire mouth tastes like sand." Dravius twisted his neck sharply to the side, almost to an unnatural angle. The resounding snap made him grin. "Much better." He murmered, looking at Raphael. "Sorry about the sand. You just looked so stoic and unusually serious, I couldn't resist." Smiling almost wickedly, the tall boy hopped off the beach and walked on his hands back to his van, leaving a trail of sand after him. After a few minutes, Dravius reappeared dressed in his previous outfit, albeit also with a checkered, newsboy hat resting on his sandy hair. "S'getting hot," He yawned, heading towards Spider and Evan with his hands in his pockets. The heat of the morning was making him drowsy, coupled with the rather rude awakening, contributed to his extremely bored, heavy-lidded ex pression. The same ex pression the average teenager would have if forced to do something they didn't want to. The Co-Master waded through the crowd of panicking spiders, who, like their mistress, seemed to be easily riled. "My goodness, what's happened to him, Mr. Easily-Frightened-Goatee-Man?" Yawning again, Dravius tilted his face to the side, still veiwing the bleeding Spider almost lazily. "Well then," He moved forewards to lift one of Spider's eyelids, and watched the pupil contract slightly in the strong sunlight. "Do you mappen to know his blood type?" Dravius directed this question to Evan, looking up through thick black eyelashes. The Co-master bright two fingers to Spider's face, to pinch the fleshy part of the boy's nose. "We'll have to move him back into his van. Would you be adverse to helping me?" He asked of Evan, pausing to yawn hugely, and push the brim of his hat away from his pale face. "Hmm. I do wonder where Zinc's scurried off to." Dravius wondered absently, blinking slowly. He maintained his calm air, looking rather sleepy in the warm summer air.
"Never bring that horrid drink here again." "It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."
