Stomping through the overgrown field, the red haired man sighed dramatically as he followed the path the large hybrid had tamped down in the gras.s.  "Oh, don't bother waiting for me," he said.  "It's not like I have only two legs and a suitcase full of clothing to haul with me.  Just run ahead, I'll be fine," he grumbled, although without any real annoyance in his voice.  Dropping the case once he caught up, he took a seat next to Zyano, leaning sideways and propping up one arm on the large wolf's back.  "So, are you actually going to appraoch them this time?  I enjoy playing the stalking game myself, but it gets boring after a few towns.  And you know I hate being bored.  Also, I think following people around without them knowing it is illegal."

Frowning, Erik brushed a few clinging weeds from his clothes.  "Ugh.  I wished you'd thought to come get me when they were at the beach.  That I would have enjoyed.  Sand, water, and bathing suits.  But of course, you drag me all over the place afterwards.  Not that the shows weren't nice.  But it would have been easier to get to know everyone if they weren't rushing around from one place to another."  Sighing again, the red head flopped sideways, draping himself over the wolf's back.  "There had better be some pretty girls in this circus," he said, voice muffled from his freckled face being buried in fur.  "Or handsome boys, I'm not picky.  Either way, you owe me."  Lifting his face, he squinted into the distance at the lights.  Not that he could have made out anything at this distance, without the benefit of enhanced eyesight like his companion.  "What are they doing tonight?  Since we're too far away for my sadly inadequate human eyes to see."

Without waiting for an answer, he squirmed away from the giant wolf, dragging the suitcase closer and flipping open the clasps.  Inside were a variety of different sorts of clothing, folded into two distinct piles.  On the left were a stack of men's t-shirts, jeans and dress clothing, while the right was dominated by camisoles, blouses and skirts, all in different sizes and obviously for females.  Picking up a flowery shirt from the right side, several sizes too small for him, Erik unfolded it and held it up in front of himself.  "Hey, Zyano.  Think I should change before we go meet these new friends?  I want to make a good first impression, since you've gotten attached to them."

Zyano, who had been perfectly content to simply lay in the gras.s and watch the Circus for a little while longer, sighed inwardly when he heard Erik's voice. His human friend was one of those you either loved or hated.

Fortunately for the giant hybrid, he was very, very used to this man by now. He''d spent a good couple of years with him, both having met seemingly in the same situation. Well, sort of. It was more a case of... Finding someone as bizarre as yourself. Erik had been a brilliant kid to be around. Now. Well. He'd definately grown, to put it "bluntly".

Shaking his head, Zyano snorted quietly over his shoulder, amber eyes focusing on the oncoming human. "Don't be such a wuss. I did not walk all that fast." He shrugged a shoulder best as he could while lying down. "I told you. If you had that much of an issue, you should have simply transformed into a toddler and allowed me to carry you."

Placing his head on the gras.s, the wolf didn't flinch as Erik settled himself pretty much on top of him. "And I was simply watching them. I had never expected to come across so many people like you."

As the red-headed young man went off on a rant, Zyano rolled his eyes. Figures all he'd be interested in was the opposite gender. On both sides. "Of course you would." He agreed flippantly. He never really saw the attraction Erik saw. But that was to be expected. He wasn't human. Zyano looked back over his shoulder at the man, then responded to his question as he allowed his gaze to wander to the nearby town.

"Dancing. It seems. And I am not attached. I simply think it would suit you better." The wolf turned only when he felt the males entire body leave his back, and watched him as he rummaged around in the suitcase he'd brought. "I really do not know. It's a Circus, nothing too formal, I should think." He glanced at the too-small shirt. "Tell me... Are you planning on walking in there as a female? "

"Well, excuse me for not having four legs.  And needing to carry things like clothing around."  Erik retorted, rolling his eyes.  The giant wolf tended to forget not everyone had his strength and stamina.  A consequence of not spending much time around any other humans, probably.  The red head hmphed at Zyano's suggestion, stucking his tongue out at the back of his large head.  "Just kill my pride, why don't you?  Plus, I'd look like a little kid wearing his dad's clothing if I did that.  Unless I changed just long enough for us to get here, which is just a waste of effort."

"You've been watching them for a few days now.  It's unusual for you to be this interested in humans.  Especially such a large group."  He smiled broadly at Zyano's second statement, bad mood temporarily forgotten.  "Thank you!  I am very fascinating, aren't I?  If these circus people are even slightly like me I can see why you decided to tag along."

Erik prodded Zyano sharply in the side with one finger, the wolf's light colored fur softening the blow.  "Well, that's because I'm a romantic sort of person.  If only we could find someone for you, you'd understand, grumpy."  The red haired man went back to reclining against him, skinny fingers playing with the embroidery of the women's shirt.  He sighed wistfully.  "Dancing... I haven't done that in awhile.  Wish we'd gotten here earlier."

"You've been staring very hard for someone who's not attached.  And, you don't need to worrying about it suiting me.  You know I can fit in almost anywhere."  He told the hybrid.  The read head raised an eyebrow at his question.  "I thought about it.  Do want to look good...  But I don't want anyone to be confused, either.  Hmm."  Refolding the shirt, Erik placed it back inside the suitcase before shutting it.  "I'll go as is.  No need to make your new friends uncomfortable.  Yet."

Nylat flicked her tail, watching Maya and Kioko. Suddenly, a thought hit her, and she stood suddenly, grinning widely. She bowed her head, backing away as she did. "I'll...be right back." With that she turned and dashed off toward her van, just missing Disera and Kanec approaching, and took a roundabout route so she could enjoy the run more and avoid the various Circus members wandering about instead of being at the party. When she finally got to her van, she leapt up on her hind legs, resting her front paws on the door and nosing it open. She slipped inside and shut the door behind her.

A soon as the door was shut, she practically shoved herself under the bed, wiggling and scrabbling to back up after a moment. Gently held in her teeth was a carving of a butterfly and a fox. It was crude, but good work all the same. She lightly dusted it off with her tail, before wrapping it up messily in a large wolf pelt and taking it again in her teeth, just as carefully. She had a little more trouble getting out with it in her mouth, but she managed all the same. She flicked her tail and started around the Circus, skirting the outer edge until she came close to the bonfire, then came up behind Maya and setting the gift on her lap from the side. She sat back down where she had been, her ears back bashfully. "I had...intended to give that to you for your birthday. But...I sorta lost it. I don't know why I remembered now. Probably all this gift-giving." Her face and front half was a little grayer than the rest of her, what with all the dust she had attracted getting under the bed. She completely missed the tw shifters, which was probably better on their end. She was likely not to ever stop bothering Kanec. Even about this.

~~

Kanec let himself be guided over to the table with their friends, laughing a bit at Disera's comment. "Your right antler, hm? Not a common phrase, even around here. And I think anyone in the Circus would kill to have a camera right now. Karene in a dress is not common." He took the offered cup of punch, about to take a drink but stopping at Disera's reaction. He laid back his ears in amusement at her 'poisoned' statement. He gladly relinquished the cup, noting Dravius's sign. He snickered a bit, his joking side coming out a little more. "It's not poisoned. It's spiked, if I'm as.suming right. Though, to me, they might as well be the same. Alcohol is definantly a no for me."

((Edit: EPIC Fail... sorry, I accidentally posted the rough draft for what was going to be the next installment instead of the proper one... so only read this post if you want to give me feed back on the rough draft.))

 Aya shyly peaked out her camper door, taking in the bustle of colors and sounds as preparations for the day ahead were already in motion. Taking a deep breath to calm her nerves, she stepped outside with one final look at the comforting familiarity of her home before forcing the broken door shut. Aya could feel the eyes of p*censored*ersby follow her as she cringed and gracelessly made her way through the crowd, dodging workers with props and performers with their animals. At six feet and seven inches, she easily towered over most anyone, and her lithe form accentuated that height until she was comparable to giraffe's long neck. At one point, Aya had bitterly thrived on the attention she received from onlookers, but now she was desensitized to their stares, feeling only a mild twinge of isolation. Aya continued through the stream of people, and silently prayed to whichever god was listening for acceptance and luck for her debut performance.

Reaching her destination, Aya stepped into the overgrown field adjacent to the circus grounds and scouted for any negative omens that might signal failure or embarr*censored*ment in her future. She froze as a feral black cat sauntered towards its den, Aya held her breath until the threat of crossing paths with it had faded. Legs spread shoulder-width apart, she relaxed her muscles and began to stretch, starting with her neck and working her way down. Several bones made small crackling sounds as they were forced back into alignment. As a contortionist, Aya had to go to extremes to get a full stretch, especially with her back, bending over backwards until she was looking at the dirt between her feet. Next came advanced Yoga to increase her balance and strengthen her core muscles, followed by a quick jog around the field, carefully avoiding the black cat's den.

Aya returned to the center of the field as she replayed the routine she had chosen for her first performance in her head, preparing to physically rehearse the scene. It was a fairly simple act, starting with general shows of flexibility and coordination before outright flaunting her arm strength by carrying her stretched body solely on her hands as she walked around the ring. This was followed by choreographed gymnastics before she began the main event as she contorted her body to spell out “Majikus Circus” and “Having fun?” complete with question mark before moving to a single hand hand-stand followed by a back-flip to land her right-side up in the center of the ring to take her bow. As Aya confidently went through the motions, a set of curious eyes caught her attention from the opposite end of the field as she was turning around to face her imaginary audience. When she returned to face the strange spy, there was nothing to see except the rustling of tall gr*censored* as the pair of staring eyes escaped.

Finishing her rehearsal, Aya straightened to her full height, brushing dust off her red and gold uniform and smoothing the creases in the long, flared sleeves. A patch of large dandelions near the edge of the field caught her attention, and she smiled, moving closer to pick a hand full of yellow weeds and gently hiding them in the secret pocket of her left sleeve.

Aya returned to her dirty, faded camper without incident and kicked off her running shoes before placing then neatly by the door. The tickle of long whiskers against her calf alerted Aya to the presence of Mischa, her three-leg Russian Blue cat. She leaned down and picked the spoiled cat up, stroking the soft fur on his head and the stump of his right front paw. Having greeted her, Mischa decided he had more important things to do, like sun bathe, and quickly jumped out of her arms. After bathing, Aya sat down heavily in front of her small, mirror-less vanity, and began relaxing into her morning ritual of brushing out her long, jet black hair. She matched her breathing with her brush strokes easily slipping into her zen, that is, until a grotesque ball of fur landed in her lap, making her yelp in surprise as the thing burrowed into her sleeve. Chuckling to herself, Aya removed the forgotten dandelions from her sleeve and dangled them in front of the mal-formed rabbit.

With both lop-ears missing and his grossly obese size, not much could be said for poor Khanja in terms of beauty, but his appetite was unmatched. With a silent huff of satisfaction, Khanja inhaled the flowers with his always present enthusiasm. Aya smiled as the fuzzy creature enjoyed his morning snack and returned to her brushing. After all tangles had been gently removed, she began braiding her thick locks, weaving numerous charms into the strands for luck, balance, and protection.

Aya glanced up to where the vanity's mirror should have hung and smiled at the portrait of her father and late mother. Kissing her fingers, she gently laid them on the intelligent mask of Kahn Dae-Jung before caressing the European face next to him. She gave the photo one final, sad smile before placing the content Khanja on the floor.

As she stood, Aya took a shuddering breath and whispered, “Wish me luck, Dad,” before leaving to meet with the odd ringmaster.

Dravius jumped slightly when Maya touched him, then turned to the side and brought his hand away from his face, looking slightly worried. "You're probably right." He stuck his free hand in his pocket and rubbed his jaw on his shoulder briefly. He turned his head more towards the girl, keeping her in the center of his vision. "Sure, but it's not like they're irritating. It's like....." He paused for a moment, blinking slowly. "It's like...there's little bugs, and they're eating at the corners of my eye. With every little bit they eat, I can't see out of it anymore." He sighed, then looked towards Disera.

"Not poisoned. I think it's tequila. Something strong." Dravius pointed at the sign, raising an eyebrow. He then rose, and looked at the others gathered there. "I'll be right back. My eyes are bothering me." He turned and skirted around the fire, waving behind him. On the way to his van, a sound caught his ear, and turning to the side revealed shapes hovering in the darkness beyond the lanterns. Two shapes, to be prescise. He walked slowly towards them, until the shapes took form as one quadruped creature, and a humanoid. "Who's there?" He called, squinting in the darkness. he moved more towards them, glaring into the tall gras.s. His long legs rustled through the foliage, until he came to a stop directly in front of the humanoid, and hauled the figure up by it's shoulders. Judging from the figure, it was a male, and he growled slightly, saying, "What're you and your friend doing out here?"

Dravius huffed slightly, hair covering his eyes. "Explain yourself." He stopped for a moment and shook his head, dropping the other back to his feet, and rubbing his eye. Brushing his hair out of his face, he growled at the other, lightly coloured shape, teeth glinting in the light from the distant lanterns. He seemed genuinely insensced, arms crossed impa.ssivly in front of his chest. He waitied for an answer with narrowed eyes, and snarled slightly.

"Never bring that horrid drink here again."

"It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."

Having been watching Kanec and Disera with an amused face, Maya noticed very little of Dravius' reactions until he spoke, and looked back at him to listen. She snorted quietly when he finished. "Little bugs, hunh. Still. If you don't leave it alone it's bound to get worse." She frowned slightly. "You need more sleep." She added, letting go of his hand.

The butterfly threw a glance at Disera when the Co-Master addressed her, then watched him as he rose to leave. "Oh. Okay." She murmered, leaning her chin on the back of her chair and watching as Dravius walked off towards the vans. Of course it wasn't long after that Nylat mimicked the males words, and fled the scene also.

Blinking, Maya shifted in her chair so that she was once again facing the table, pulling her feet up onto the flat surface and placing her chin on her knees, fiddling with the flowery clips Kioko had presented to her, before placing them lightly on the table and watching the members over by the fire.

It wasn't too long later when Nylat reappeared, though Maya hadnt noticed until she felt a small weight in her lap. "Hm?" She mumbled, looking at the ob
ject before noticing Nylat. Turning back, she very carefully picked up the wooden shape, laughing quietly at Nylat's words, "My birthday, huh?... That was months ago." Not that she didn't appreciate the gift. It was, to be blunt, very, very pretty. And it was clear a good bit of concentration had gone into creating it. Smiling, the butterfly slipped off the chair and crouched by Nylat. "Thank you." She responded, hugging the hybrid firmly around her fuzzy neck. (But not before attempting to brush off some of the dust).

Laughing again, Maya quickly threw herself back onto her chair, putting the carving by the clips, and using a hand to brush Nylat's snout. Small clouds of dust forming with the movement. "I think you need to go jump in a bath." She said, her ex
pression amused.

~~~
Huffing, Zyano watched Erik, listening silently to his sentences. "Fasciniting?... More like supremely annoying." The hybrid grinned at the red-head, then placed his snout on his paws, yawning. "And the interest stems from these humans... Peculiarities. They are very unusual."
He snorted a little at the prod, then yawned again. "That has nothing to do with anything." He responded to the man's romantic statements. "You're free to do as you wish. And, from what I understand, love is different to simply being romantic. I don't believe I will ever quite understand your ways. Also, you might like to note that the dance seems to have only just started." Zyano lifted his head, watching the people far in the distance before resuming his previous position.
"Your choice." He responded to Erik's final words, ears flicking forward at the sound of footsteps. It was only when the footsteps headed towards them that he lifted his head again. His eyes easily caught sight of the oncoming human. My god. He must have had excellent hearing, or eyesight, to have noticed them all the way out here... The Circus was, afterall, rather far, a good couple of fields away.
It was one of the leaders of the Circus as far as Zyano could place him. Having watched them the past few days it wasn't too much of an issue to recognise him. The one who couldn't feel pain.
"Calm yourself." The wolf growled, sitting up on his hind legs. "We are not hostile. We are merely watching. That is all." He responded blandly, yawning for the third time. "You are one of the Leaders of the Circus Majikus." It wasn't a question. "I was going to wait until morning but... We are considering joining your... Pack, if you will. My friend here-" He snorted in Erik's direction. "Is one of you."
((SO BAD. But I didn't sleep well. And I'm tired. And hungry. And nnn. :<))
Kioko blushed as Maya leaned across the table and hugged her.  "I'm glad you like them... I thought they might be too little kid-ish."  She watched both Dravius and Nylat leave, then leaned forward on the table.  "Everything looks very nice tonight," the pyro commented, looking around the party area.  "There must have been alot of thought put into this."
As Nylat returned, she scooted over to give the hybrid more room on the bench.  She looked at the hide-wrapped bundle as Maya retrieved the carving from within, surprised by the delicate carving.  "That's amazing, Nylat," the girl said, slightly awed by the detail in the carving.  Seeing the dust covering most of Nylat's fur, Kioko laughed quietly, following Maya's lead and picking up a decorative napkin from the center of the table.  The white haired girl swiped the pink heart covered napkin over her friends fur in an effort to wipe away the dust.   "You aged a few years between here and the van, Nylat," she said good naturedly.
-----
"Eck.  Tastes about the same to me," Disera said, wrinkling her nose in distaste.  "Can't believe people willingly drink this stuff," she muttered.  No wonder Selvai had never allowed her around anything alcoholic before.  It was vile.  Frowning, she shook her head, before pricking her ears forward at Kanec's snicker.  "Hey, it's not like I have any experience with alcohol myself.  Not that I want to, after that.  Ugh, my throat is still burning."
The shifter snorted slightly at Dravius' gesture to the sign, sticking her tongue out at his departing back.  "Next time, make the sign bigger, maybe.  And, is there anything else to drink?  Preferably without alcohol in it.  I need to get this taste out of my mouth."
--------
The magician laughed quietly at Karene's backhanded compliment, unable to keep from smiling himself.  Well.  He could have phrased his words better, he supposed.  He blamed the unexpected situation.  It had nothing at all to do with Karene's smile, or the way her caramel hair managed to fall over one shoulder while still being pinned up...  "Thank you," Selvai told her, trying to bring his attention back to the party.
He attempted to be interested in the gathering as Karene scanned the crowd.  He spotted Disera and Kanec at one of the tables, but resisted the urge to go over to the pair of shifters.  He had promised to give them some time alone, after all.  And he suspected Karene wouldn't appreciate feeling like a third wheel while he intruded on their date.
The magician mentally cringed at the word.  Disera.  On a Date.  Sighing through his nose, Selvai tried to put the unpleasent thoughts aside and focus on Karene, nodding in agreement at her suggestion to join the members by the fire.  Aside from her obvious discomfort with her clothing, Selvai felt it would be better to give Disera some distance at the moment.  "Gladly," he answered, following Karene to the roaring bonfire.  He nodded a greeting to Raphael, and stood beside Karene, facing the fire.
------
"Annoying... That's just an insult boring people use against those who are more interesting than them," Erik retorted, although his smile took any bite out of the retort.  "And, I disagree.  You simply don't understand because you've never had a love life.  You poor, lonely thing."  He perked up at the mention of the dance.  "Ooh.  Think they'd let us join them?  Would be fun...  And maybe there's someone you'd like.  Couldn't hurt to go see," he smirked, leaning back again.
Having gone back to lounging against Zyano's side, Erik was surprised by the angry voice suddenly coming from the darkness.  He sat up, about to answer, when the owner of the voice pulled him from the ground, growling another question in his face.  This close, the red head could see the ruffian in detail.  Black hair tipped with white, cut rather oddly in a shaggy pattern, multiple scars, including ones over his right eye which seemed to have destroyed  it, and an unattractive scowl on his face.  Dressed in a formal shirt and pants, Erik guessed that whoever this was, he had just come from the dance.  As he was placed back on his feet, the red head huffed slightly.  "Excuse me, but you placed your hands on me, growl in my face, then demand I explain myself?  You're quite rude, you realize."  He paused for a moment, and appeared to be considering something.  "Although not that bad to look at, even with the scars and mismatched eyes.  But, if you want to place your hands on me again, I demand you be gentler about it.  Some people might find a bad temper appealling, but I'm not one of those," Erik told him, either unaware or uncaring about any possible negative reactions to his words.
Brushing the wrinkles out of his shirt, Erik raised an eyebrow at Zyano's reaction, seeming to just then remember Dravius' questions.  "Oh, yes.  What he said.  Except, I was simply laying around.  He was watching.  My eyesight isn't quite good enough to see that far.  Especially at night like this."  Rolling his shoulders, Erik took a half step back in order to get a better look at the white haired man.  "But, anyway.  Call me Erik.  Pleased to meet you," he said, smiling in what he hoped was an alluring way as he held out one hand.
Nylat ducked her head, and would have turned red if human. "Yeah. Like I said, I lost it." She shook herself out, filling the air with a cloud of dust, but she was still covered. "And I don't need a bath. Just a good roll in the gras.s should fix this." She flicked her tail through the gr*censored* behind her. "No need to thank. It's ony kind, yes? I'm your friend, after all." She stretched, the fur on her spine spiking a bit before she let it lie flat again. She shook her head and neck again, the shaggy fur around the latter sending a bit more dust into the air. At Kioko's comment, she glared playfully. "I don't need any old jokes, young one. I'm already older than most dogs should ever be."
~~
Kanec was still snickering at Disera, trying his best to hide it. "I don't blame you. They're about the same, in my eyes. It seems to be a poison and an antidote to some, though. Poison to the brain, cure to the problems. Like a stress reliever, I guess is what I'm trying to say." He flared his wings a bit, shaking them out as if he were ridding himself of something, before he furled them, flicking an earup at Disera's request for a different drink. "I'd ask Dravius when he gets back. He seems to always know where there's good punch."
"She does, doesn't she?" Maya laughed in response to Kioko's statement, noting the hybrid's somewhat aged appearance and continuing to brush dust from her nose. Eventually pulling her hand away, the butterfly rubbed her hands to rid them of any clinging dust, and sneezed twiced in succession due to the little cloud created. "Maybe it wouldn't be a bad idea for you to go find a patch of rolling gras.s right about now." She smiled, pulling her legs up onto the chair.
She spent a quiet moment watching Kioko with the hybrid, eventually turning her gaze to the two gifts she'd recieved. The young woman hadn't really expected anything today, having not known it was Valentines, but even then. Dravius, Kioko, and Nylat had all put in. It only occured to her then that she had nothing in return, and all things considered it seemed unfair.
Dravius had his half. No doubt he'd be playing with that box of ink for hours once he had the time to do so. But she should really get something for these two. Smiling slightly at the thought of the Co-Master and his gift, the butterfly turned back to the two sitting at her table just as she heard Disera speak over on the other one.
Figures everyone wanted alcohol free punch. It was too bad Dravius hadn't been bothered to fetch some more earlier. Sliding her feet to the floor, Maya stood, smiling at Disera. "I can go get some. No doubt everyone else might want some later. I'll be right back." She threw a quick smile at Nylat and Kioko, then grabbed her gifts and walked away from the table and back towards the vans.
The blonde pas.sed the food van despite having said she'd fetch more punch. She could get it on the way back after all. Instead, she made a beeline for her own van, quickly slipping inside and putting on the corner lamp, creating a warm, homey glow across the green walls and light wooden floor; Placing her gifts next to Brandon on a nearby chair. She spent a good few minutes rummaging around in one of the drawers,eventually coming up with a sort of charm bracelet. It was rather old, Maya having obtained it years ago after joining Raphael and the others.
Quickly tying it around her wrist, she frowned at a nearby butterfly that was slowly making it's way toward her across the top of the drawer. Sighing through her nose, Maya watched the little animal for a while, before being hit with a rather bizarre idea. Smiling, she held out her hand, allowing the large, lavander butterfly to crawl onto her hand before placing it on her shoulder and fleeing the van.(Having being sure to check her thoughts were okay with the butterfly in question, first)
It took her all of five minutes to get the food van members to make another bowl of punch, and headed back towards the party with her arms full of glas.s bowl. One that was rather heavy, she might add. The young woman did however, make it to the buffet table without incedent, placing the bowl onto with an "umph" of breath.
"There." She said breathlessly, blowing a strand of hair away from her eyes, before practically running back to her own table.
"Here, Nylat. Sorry, it's not much... But I hadn't realised I'd be gifted quite so much today." She undid the bracelet, then knelt and tied the pretty little chain around Nylat's paw, ensuring it was wrapped twice so that it was secure.
Lifting herself back into her seat, Maya smiled at the hybrid, then looked apologetically at Kioko. "Im sorry. I don't really keep a lot of gift worthy items in my van... I would like to ask you a favour, though."
She lifted a hand to her shoulder, the lavander butterfly immediately following it's que and crawling onto her fingers, wings quivering a little in anticipation. "This little friend of mine is rather unruly when she doesn't have something to stick to." The girl smiled, albeit a little sadly. "I swear she may as well be a puppy for all the clinging she does."
She allowed the little animal to continue walking over her hands, then quite blatantly held it out to Kioko. "Wanna keep an eye on her, for me?... You don't need to really look after her, she can do that on her own. But I really think she'd enjoy having something to follow around whenever she feels like it. She can stay in your van with you." Maya paused, then laughed. "It may seem stupid, but butterflies are awfully good listeners."
