Kuro laughed, "you let a gopher bite your tail? Way to go." he teased, twitching his ears. He strained to listen for other sounds in the forest, in case there were any humans nearby, but he didnt hear or smell any. Good. That means they were staying in their dens. But that could also be bad, he thought. They could be planning things. He knew humans had devices that let them talk to each other, no matter how far apart, and they had other things to, cars, that could take them places faster than a wolf can run, dogs, that could follow a wolfs's scent for days, and light that they could use at any time of day, and even in the darkest of nights, and of course, guns.He glanced around slightly nervous, but al he could see was trees, and birds. Sunlight filtered down into the forest, dappling his dark grey fur with patches of light and dark. And all he could hear was the birdsongs, and the scuffling sounds in the buses from the rabits and mice.

Krash lapped water from a small stream that fed into a larfe river. But she would avoid the rever. For a few yars on each side, there was no trees, just open land. And she didnt want to risk being out in the open. If there werent so many humans around, she would have gone in the river to cool down in the heat of the summer. Her thick coat was heavy and warm. She sat down by the stream and yawned. Here, she was safe. The humans never really came this deep into the forest, it was too dangerous. Between the wolves and the bears, they had decided that they would stay away from the mountains.
((let me explain this for a second, Krash is on the far side of Storm Pack territory, where the pack tends to sleep at night, it is safe because of how remote it is, however, there is little prey there, due to the fact that there are wolves, mountain lions, and bears there, so the pack has to go out farther(sort of toward the humans) to find prey. Does that make sense?))
