Thornkit purred. "I'd love to Heronpaw!" She mewed excitedly. "And guess what!" She began, "Im going to be teh best apprentice ever!" She beamed. Her multicolored pelt practicaly glowing woth excitment. She staggered to her paws. She let out another purr before waddleing over to Heronpaw. "Lets go, I'm ready!" She said.

Heronpaw smiled at the kit, "Let me show you the medicine cat's den!" she exclaimed, curling her blue tail around Thornkit's shoulders and leading her to the small cave that was her and her mentor's den.

Thornkit purred with excitment. "Ive never been in a Medicine Cat's den before!" She exclaimed. She followed Heronpaw, her heart raced with excitment. Im going to the medicine cats den!She thought happily. I wonder what else is here,.......?She thought. -phailness- (( *shrug* well........))

Heronpaw pushed the curtain of lichen away with her paw, breathing in the comforting scent of herbs and berries. "Here," she called over her shoulder, padding over to the small pool of water that lay to the back of the den. She pointed to a small crack in the wall, where clear spring water was flowing in rivulets.

"Ooohhh...." Thornkit waddled over to the small pool of water. "What is this?" She asked pointing to the water. "Can I touch it?" She asked curiously. She breathed in the confortig smell of herbs. "How many herbs are there? " She asked. Sparkfrost yawned. He had nothing better to do. He thought about visiting Thornkit again shen his belly growled.He stood up and trotted over to the Fresh-kill pile.

Thornkit giggled. "When will I get my warrior name?" Thornkit asked. "And so that means......that theres like.....hundreds of herbs for us to collect? Im going to find everyone of them so if any of my clanmates get sick I could cure them before you could say 'mouse'" She anounced. "Sparkfrost said I could try fresh-kill today." She said. "Will you take me over to get a snack?" She asked.

Heronpaw smiled. "Thornkit, if you do that, I think both me and my mentor would appreciate it. But don't forget about your warrior duties as well!" She licked her tenderly on her ear, knowing that if she were allowed to have kits, she would want one like Thornkit. "Now let's go get some food. I'm starving as well!"

Thornkit giggled. "Mmhm." She nodded. " When will i be able to catch my own food?" Thornkit asked, thinking ahead of time. "I want a squirrel! No a rabbit! No! I know! I'm going to catch a fox!" She announced to Heronpaw. "And then all the others will be to afraid to come near any of my friends because I would eat them!" She bit the air as if she was biting ito a fox.

Fallenstar padded back into camp in front of Shadetear after a quick morning patrol. For some reason he'd felt restless all morning and decided to get out of camp for a bit. Shadetear had came along for company. Dismissing the younger warrior with a flick of his long tail the clan leader sat in front of his den with a sigh and looked around. Of course nothing had changed, it never seemed to. Licking one fore pay, Fallenstar shrugged his large shoulders to relieve some of the stiffness that seemed to set in when he moved to much. Grumbling to himself, the old cat looked up at the sky and prayed to Starclan he would lead his clan to the best of his power even in his weakening state. "Maybe a trip to the medicine cats den is in order." He mused to himself. Glancing over at Thornkit and Heronpaw, Falconwing chuckled at the kits enthusiasm, knowing the little bundle of fur would make a excellent apprentice for some cat. Trotting over to the fresh-kill pile, she greeted Sparkfrost with a cheery "Good morning." Before grabbing her a small mouse. Hissing about the boring atmosphere around the camp, Silentpaw paced back and forth along the apprentices den. He was about to go ask Falconwing to take him hunting when she started talking to Sparkfrost, and the apprentice grumbling in annoyance. Sometimes he missed having all of his foster mothers attention. Instantly he cast the thought away, he was no longer a kit mewling for his mother. "Wheres my mentor?" He growled. ((Would someone like to mentor Silentpaw?))

Ghostpaw looked up at the sound of Fallenstar's entrance. "Is that the leader?" she mewed to her brother softly, rolling over on her stomach and licking her paws.
Nightpaw nodded, "Yeah. It seems he's back now." he meowed back, resting his head on her flank. He watched Silentpaw with slitted eyes, wondering what the flea-bag was annoyed about now.

"Good morning to you." Sparkfrost mewed to the she-cat. Sparkfrost took a young squirrel and trotted to Thornkit. "Here, Squirrel is my favorite, look its still warm." He pushed the fresh-kill to Thornkit. Thornkit purred. "Thanks Sparkfrost, Guess what!" She exclaimed. "Heronpaw let me a look in the Medicine-cats den!" She beamed. She took a small bite of the squirrel. "It is warm!" she said gulping down her breakfast.
