Falconwing picked up speed and felt as if she were flying. As the forest raced by the warrior soaked up the scents and sounds of the forest, narrowly stopping in time to jump over a log that lead into the hollow. Whirling around so she could face Nightpaw when he got there, she grinned cheekily. "Attack me." She commanded. 

Shadetear huffed in amusement and picked up speed, keeping his paw steps light so not to disturb the prey. "Nope, I got up early and had to patrol with Fallenstar this morning." He meowed calmly, pricking his ears as the Ancient Oak came into view. "Alright, let me see what you can do."

Silentpaw scowled at the rouge, or was she a kittypet? "Jeesh, watch where your going." He muttered, rubbing his sore nose. Looking at the other cat,

[[Alright! And for personalities, this is the short version. Dreamstone is lazy but clever and quick-thinking. Coalfire is strong, ambitious and short-tempered]]

Coalfire paced around restlessly in the camp. He knew that he was made a new warrior, but the boredom was life-threatening. Coalfire swung his head side to side, wondering whether he should approach the deputy and ask for a border patrol. He spotted Dreamstone sunning herself on a rock, her tail swinging from side to side in pleasure.

"Hey, Dreamstone!" He barked at the she-cat. Dreamstone opened her eyes and looked at the young warrior. "Aren't you supposed to be on patrol or something?" He asked.

The caramel she-cat smiled at the stupid new warrior. "Coalfire." She purred. "Shouldn't you know better than to lecture warriors older than you?" She asked.

Coalfire instinctively shut his mouth. Turning away, he grumbled something like 'only a few moons older than me'.

Dreamstone watched as Coalfire wandered off. She twitched her tail in satisfaction and settled back down on her rock to bask in the sun. 

Coalfire grunted as the apprentice bumped into him. He rolled his eyes and sighed. He remembered when he himself was an apprentice. Coalfire tried to forget about the lazy Dreamstone and bent down to help Heronpaw pick up her herbs. "It's alright." He sighed, as he dropped a small pile of herbs in front of her.

Dreamstone watched the head-strong warrior and the flustered apprentice from atop her rock. Dreamstone was still swinging her tail as she smiled again. "Stupid cats." She sighed, rolling over onto her back and looking up at the sky. 

Gingerfrost slithered from under the heavier tom and narrowly ducked her head to avoid a collision with his paw. But the stinging in the tip of one ear told her she was not fast enough. Impressed, Gingerfrost feinted to the right and aimed a blow to his muzzle then pivoted to the left just as quickly to swipe at his fore paws. "Toms often think that she-cats cannot fight. In part their right, we're not as strong as you. But what we lack in muscle build we make up in with speed." She leap backwards and forward swiftly and aimed a gentle blow to his ears. Grinning cheekily, she crouched again. "Remember that. I'm also smaller and harder to pin because i'm lithe. Not that i'm bragging or anything but it's much easier for a large cat to pin another large cat and get in a good blow." She stood up and flicked her tail for a stop. "Come here, I want to show you a move to pin a cat so it's much harder for them to escape."

Shadetear watched as his apprentice caught the thrush, whiskers twitching in delight. "Very good. You would have had him easily if it was not for the wind." He padded over and sniffed the prey. "But you favor your left side a bit, try evening out your weight. Makes prey, such as mice, easier to catch."

Silentpaw growled in his throat and itched not to cuff the she-cat. "This is Whispclan territory! Your not supposed to be hunting here anyway." He snapped. The let his fur lie flat. "Who are you anyway. I have not seen you around before."
