{Eh, I think one of Eastie's charries was going to mentor him....seeing as Blood asked on this thread, i'll let Nightspell mentor him. (Sorry Eastie D:)}

Nightpaw grinned and padded up to his mentor, tail waving around happily. "I was thinking, since pinning a smaller, faster cat down is harder, i'd have tobe light on my paws right? That way I could easily pin the cat down and then there'd be no escape."

Ghostpaw scowled at his comment but nodded, "Well, it's because I can still see out of my right eye...sort of. That's why I try to use my right side more often. It's a bad habit." she admitted.

Raven sighed and sat down, curling her black tail around her paws. "Territory? As in a large group of cats has claimed it? But who's stopping me from hunting? I need food as well you know," she told the apprentice, feeling slightly dwarfed by the larger cat, not a feeling she cared for.

Heronpaw smiled at Coalfire, "Thanks. It would have taken ages to clean up alone," she mewed, her eyes shining with gratitude.

Gingerfrost smiled happily and nodded. "Exactly, the lighter you are the faster you are. But there are downsides to it, just like everything. If your light on your paws then a blow will knock you off your paws easier." She leap forward and tried to pin the other cat down, and warp her paws around his chest and neck, aiming a nip at the back of his neck. "This is how you pin down a cat if you don't want them to run."

Shadetear sighed lightly, and flicked her shoulder with his tail. "If you favor that left side and focus more on the right then a enemy will notice that. I know this is hunting practice but I think I should educate you a bit on this." He stated. "An enemy will exploit it that you cannot see them on that side and hit you there. Open your senses to everything on both sides."

Silentpaw smiled grimly. "Of course you do, and seeing as most of this land belongs to the clans then it could get dangerous. I'll let you go rouge, but not all of my clan mates will do the same."

Nightpaw nodded, "But...if I do this," he mewed, kicking his paws upwards, legs stiff. Because Gingerfrost was lying on him, she wouldn't be able to dodge his move. "Since warriors don't kill un-needfully, you would just be holding me down. And since you are lighter, I send you flying, rather than a heavier cat."

Ghostpaw nodded, seeing the sense in her mentor's words. "So, what you're trying to say, is that even if you do have a weakness, you must hide it." she said, thinking about it carefully. She got up from her sitting position and buried the thrush under the tree's roots, then sat back in front of her mentor for another lesson.

Raven sighed, "I don't see what the point of Clan rivalry is. I mean, I know you guys have fought for so long it's like a second sense, but still, wouldn't life be simpler if there wasn't any battling?" she mewed seriously. She closed her eyes for a moment and mused over what she had just said, "On the otherhand, battles keep your population down..." she purred in an amused way. 

Coalfire nodded and silently returned to picking up the herbs. He glanced at the lazy Dreamstone from time to time, wondering when she would leap off the rock.

Dreamstone sighed, bored, as she felt rested. Getting back onto her belly, she lifted herself up from the rock and leapt off. "Have fun, kits." She called to Heronpaw and Coalfire as she slowly padded away. She smirked to herself.

Dreamstone made a little 'hmmmmmf' sound while she waited for Heronpaw to catch up. "Alright, to the Twoleg place!" Dreamstone said a little too enthusiastically, and marched off, her tail stuck straight up in the air. She paused and waited for Heronpaw a bit, wondering what was up with the apprentice.
