{I want pizza *drool*}
Heronpaw nodded and followed Dreamstone, wondering why the elder cat was so intimidating and scary to her. "Maybe she likes it like that..." she muttered under her breath.

Dreamstone sniffed the air and flicked her tail. She drew in the scent of many herbs, but none resembled the sweet smell of catmint. "Nowhere near the nest yet." She told Heronpaw. Dreamstone then decided to keep quiet, afraid of offending the medicine cat apprentice. 'She will be treating my wounds in a few moons.' Dreamstone thought to herself and smiled.

Heronpaw suddenly jerked to a stop, the euphoric scent of catnip filling her nostrils. "Here!" she cried excitedly, pulling back a small, low-slung willow tree branch to reveal a bush of the precious herb. She immediately started to pluck the leaves off the bush.

Dreamstone looked around and saw the she-cat sprinting towards a willow tree. Dreamstone briskly walked towards the willow tree, and followed Heronpaw's example, and slowly picked off leaves from the bush of catmint. After plucking a large amount, Dreamstone stopped. "Should we leave a few leaves to let the bush continue growing?" Dreamstone asked Heronpaw.

Heronpaw nodded distractedly, "Yes, but since it's leaf-bare, they won't survive anyways...actaully, we can take them. It's the roots that grow the leaves and such." She grasped her own large bundle between her jaws, ready to head back to camp.

Dreamstone sighed and picked up her bundle of leaves again, following Heronpaw. The apprentice seemed pretty sure of herself, so Dreamstone swiped a few more leaves off the bush before leaving the willow tree. Dreamstone looked up at the tree and made a note of this place. It seemed rather calming.

Falconwing grinned impishly as she landed on her paws, striking out at his paws. "True, you can. But is that not a little dangerous on your part? After all you need to be on your back to kick a opponent off, so a lighter cat would probably land on their paws not far from you and strike your exposed belly." She laughed lightly. "But your on the right track, and very quick. Some day you'll make a great fighter." She dropped down as if a cat was on her shoulders. "Here's how you do it. Your opponents paw is normally around your muzzle, which means you can bite it, they tend to loosen their grip, then you can wriggle your way out. If their paw is not around, then yowl as if their seriously hurting you and let your muscles relax as if you've given. Your right on the lines of we do not kill others in battle, so the yowling as if in pain tends to startle them." She winked. "Thats my little trick, don't tell anyone." ~ Shadetear nodded, eyes gleaming in delight. "Exactly! You can never let a cat know you have a weakness, they'll use it against you. I'll teach you ways to change that, both in hunting and in battle. To start,m your blind in one eye, and are not so good with sight in the other. So cutting off your sight altogether is a good way to start. Now, I want you to close your eyes and pad over to the Ancient Oak." ~ Silentpaw paced back and forth a little ways from the rouge, a slight scowl forming on his face. "You, it does keep the population down, but kits tend to die more then warriors in this life." He looked her in the eyes. "Whats your name anyway?" He asked

Coalfire shook his head in frustration when Dreamstone and Heronpaw left the camp. 'I'm much more useful than that she-cat.' He thought to himself. He sighed, settling down on the spot, flicking his tail and wondering what to do. "Perhaps I should visit the apprentices when they are training..." He wondered out loud. With nothing better to do, Coalfire picked himself up off the ground and started off towards Ancient Oak.

Nightpaw grinned, "That's a great idea. But, I heard that one great trick is that after you've made it seem like you've given up, you push up with your legs all stiff. And besides, wouldn't a lighter cat fly further, because they're easier to push? I think the most dangerous opponent in this case is a heavy, but light on their paws cat." He twitched his whiskers at his mentor and licked his paw as he waited for her next instructions. -- Ghostpaw nodded and shut her eyes. It seemed as if the world was blacker than before, but she was surprised to find that her other senses -ears, whiskers and nose- were working even better than before. She twitched her whiskers and took a small sniff in front of her, scenting the rich smell that came from the earth by the roots of the tree, and the nutty scent of the acorns. She padded forwards almost as if she could see perfectly fine, and stopped when her long whiskers felt the roots to her sides and front. "Is that good?" she asked. -- Raven sighed, "Raven...my mother named me for my fur. Honestly though, those birds are very loud and annoying." She licked one of her paws absentmindedly, "I'm sad to hear that the kits die so young here," she remarked. "My siblings never made it past birth, even though I was the runt of the litter. My mother soon died and my father abandoned us before I was born, so I've never really known my paernts." -- Heronpaw thanked Dreamstone happily, "I think you're lucky Dreamstone! I've never seen such a good bush before. I'm glad you came with me!" With that last remark she padded off to the medicine cat's den, determined to tidy it up before her mentor came back.
