Sighing Holly snuggled against her rock. Maybe today would be-

No such luck. Even from across campus she could here Allie. Another wonderful day in Looney Town. Gods willing, Winnie would be there to chill her out. It was waaay too early, and the abyssinian had not yet fully awoken. Her long, slightly poofy tail twitched, ears flicking to the soun of swooping wings.

Out of instinct she looked up, and smiled despite herself. It was so amazing to see the winged come to land. It made her wish she coul fly, just once. Again she sighed, watching the winged wolf with slight interest, already having written of the gragon months ago as Winnie's territory. Any boy who might like boys went to him, as a general rule. The girl, on the other hand...

Holly's light olive eyes flashed, pulling her legs, clad in skin tight black demin, up against her barely there chest. Her torso was wrapped in a loose grey graphic tee, decorated with interlocking foxes that seemed to have been made entirely of Celtic knots. Over this she wore a nice black tux jacket, the cuff-links silver set with peridot, just a shade off her eyes. Black chucks completed the look for her, classic and casual, formally relaxed. Perfect.

Adrian tossed Iris' paper ball back to her before he glanced up at the newcomers. Iris glanced up at exactly the same time and her nose twitched idly as she surveyed them. The hint of a smirk curved at her lips as she watched Jake blush before she turned her attention back to her notebook. She would leave this one up to Adrian because she knew for a fact that thee people would turn him into the shy type, especially the bubbly girl.

"Nice to meet you, Allie," Adrian said with a strained smile as he watched Iris totally pull herself from the conversation. "And Jake," he said with a nod. So he assumed this girl was a senior like Iris and him. He scratched the back of his head, kitsune ears swiveling with embarrassment as he fumbled for what to say.

"So are you all on the prom team or the anti-prom team?" he asked with a laugh. He caught Iris' light frame shake with silent laughter and he almost smacked her on the leg for laughing at his obvious discomfort.

Ready... Set... GO!

As the countdown started and then ended, a pale girl with a purple and white swim cap pushed herself off the starting block. A small bump in her clothing showed where her fluffy tail was, but other than that, she was practically human. She counted the laps in her head. 2, 3... 4... 5. When she got to 16, she knew she only had 4 left and finished them quickly, her hands and feet cutting the water like a knife on food. She slammed her hand into the wall just as the bell rang, cutting off her time by 3 seconds, which was still pretty good.

"Avalia, your new time is 7:56." The man grunted

"Alright dad, but I can do better." Avalia muttered, her cheeks growing warm with embarresment.

"I know you can, but that is for tomorrow, now go, hope along to school." He said gruffly and then kissed her lightly on the cheek. She smiled at her father and literally hopped to shcool after dressing herself in a white halter top and jean shorts. When she got to school, she stuffed her purple swimsuit into her backpack and zipped it shut, glaring around campus to see if she could spot her brother.

-Later at Lunch break-

"Oh there you are! I've been looking for you all day!" Avalia cried, throwing her arms over her brother who was patiently drawing in his sketchbook. As she cuddled him, he attempted to finish his drawing, but even Avalia's light weight made it hard to draw. 

"Ge'roff me." He peeled her off of him and laughed, showing he wasn't serious

"Ali, why are you so mean." She whined, sitting down and scratching her ear with her shoe. The nekomimi looked at her with a strange ex
pression on his face and then shook his head. 

"Get off of the ground Avalia, your getting your clothes all dirty." He guffawed, helpnig her to her feet. Ali sighed and looked over at the tree where Adrian and Iris were.

"Why don't you go and introduce yourself to them." Ali said to get his twin to stop bugging him. She did have a fault, many, but her main was being too clingy, unless she was around other boys, then she was shy and quiet.

She jumped up and down, her ears flopping all over the place. "Alright." She said in a defeated tone of voice.

She stepped lightly over to Adrian...

 Glaring down at the four people, Athena jumped out of the tree. She landed lightly on her feet, silently. There was obviously to be no peace and quiet for today, so set off in the direction of the main building, doing her best to ignore the small group of people that would most likely start babbling on about the prom any moment. To her, they looked like a bunch of idiots. Two of them just crashed into each other and were on the floor, for gods sake.

She couldn't avoid them completely without making it obvious that that's what she was doing, and, much as she thought they were idiots, she still had manners. So, she skirted around them, just outside the litttle group, keeping her eyes low. If any of them talked to her, so be it, but that didn't, under any circumstances, mean she would talk to them. It wasn't like they had a reason to talk to her. No one did. She made sure of that. She didn't talk, she kept to herself almost constantly. If they wanted to talk to her, they definitely must have something wrong with their heads, she thought.
