"There we go!" the nurse chirped, stepping back and wiping her hands off on her thighs. "All better...ish. Just don't move the cartilage and your nose should heal back to normal. Of course, there might be a slight difference, but you'll be fine." She dug through her jacket pockets and came up with a lollipop, which she promptly held out for Ian.

Cade's eye twitched. Just watching I made his face hurt... And he also wanted a lollipop. The nurse must've been a great mood, as she was normally never as nice as she was acting now. But asking for one for himself would be like stepping on a landmine.

Haiku smiled, relieved that the other was going to get angry or defensive. It would have only made his non-existance suspicion rise. After all, those who took the bait must be hiding something... A peck to the side of his head brought H back to reality. Roddy looked at him with a leveled glare and the red head realized he had been rocking inplace the enitine time. The bird must have finally gotten tired of the swaying.

"Sorry, Rods. " He said apologetically, reaching up to stroke the little bird's feathers.

Roddy calmed and chirped softly, but seriously, ruffling his feathers and twisting his wings in little jerking motions. Haiku raised an eyebrow before his eyes widened.

"Oh yeah! You're totally right, buddy! Thanks~"

Haiku looked over at R and grinned sheepishly. 

"We were supposed to be getting back, weren't we? Well, at this rate L's gonna be finished before we get there."

Haiuk chuckled a bit and glanced back towards the kitchen, smiling widely.

"Can't wait to hear that idea of yours, but in order to be able to do that, we gotta grab your brother and go, right?"

Ian nodded his thanks and gently took the lollipop out of her hand. "Thank you so much for your help." He muttered quietly before turning back to face C easily holding back a smile. "Well, I guess I gotta be careful but- Let's go find R,H, and B so we can get back to L." He then slowly began to walk out of the room, waiting for C to follow after him.

"Right! Oh, and how'd you understand Roddy-" Before Red could enter into the kitchen a low quiet voice answered both of them, calling both out. "You don't have to spy, or sit there and whisper about me, I can hear you know. If your wondering what I'm up to, why not just get in here and ask me instead of sneaking around to try and find out?" Red felt a large embarr*censored*ing blush cover his cheeks as he poked his head into the entrance way of the kitchen. "Sorry brother, I wasn't spying on you, just curious to what you were up to is all." Blue smiled gently toward Red, forcing Red to actually begin to doubt the idea that his brother could be the killer and forced himself to smile back. "What do you mean /I/?" He asked gently. "Heh, I know H is out there with ya, there isn't a reason to lie to me." He laughed gently and patted Red's shoulder gently, in a loving manner. Red let a real smile cover his face. "Who's bird?" He whispered and went up to pet Gil gently. But Gil snapped out at him with his feathers ruffled. Red glanced at Gil curiously and shhhed him gently rubbing his head. "Ehh.. Gil, what's gotten into you?" He whispered gently and nuzzled the bird. Blue watched the scene curiously before putting away his black notebook, and finishing up his last bite of ice cream. "Well, I'll let you two eat your ice cream, sorry it took me so long..." Red smiled and shook his head. "Oh, no, it's ok! I promise. We'll be quick. Isn't that right, H?"

Haiku jumped at the sound of Blue's voice and turned quickly to shoot an overly-exagerated happy grin at B. Seriously... He gave him the creeps, man. Carefully, H reached out a placed a hand on Blue's shoulder. Roddy twitched and shifted over to the other shoulder.

"Yeah. we'll be real quick. I just need to fill up the tank~"

H patted his stomach to make his point. And at that moment, all else faded and he realized that, right there, just a few feet away, was his favorite thing in the entire world. 

"....Ice cream~!"

He shot forward and rumaged through the freezer for his favorite, Gr*censored*hopper, before grabbing the largest spoon he could find, and eating the sweet substance right out of the container. He was in heaven~ Mint ice cream and chocolate crunchies and marshmellow, yum! He hummed and absentmindedly rocked back and forth, tapping his fingers against the tablein a silent redition of Beethoven's fourth. Roddy hopped down to the table and rolled his eyes, warbling in tune to the tapping. Sugar and cream took over the teen's mind before his manners kicked in.

"You want some?" He chirped, holding out a spoon to the other two.

It was good to be polite, after all.

Gil looked at the ice cream and flew over to the table, purposely landing on Roddy's tail and causing the other bird to squawk in discomfort, before delving into a blotch of ice cream that had landed on the table when H had removed the lid.

Kio walked from his previous position by the table over to rub against Blue's legs before leaving the room, eyes glinting in abject hapiness. Finally, someone without the attention span of a six-year-old to follow~! Maybe this one would be even better than his very first owner. It was such a shame that he had to die... His mustache was really funny looking, and Kio got hours of amusement from it. Also, he was very scary and hilarious when he was angry, screaming in that funny language of his~

(Yeah... I dun know. Was reading up on WWII, and started thinking of Kio as evil and amused by any sort of creulty, so, yeah. If you guys are offended by that last part, I can change it. >w>; )

( My characters all got pretty violent after I read about WWII. :P It's fun to learn about it. )

C blinked, then walked after I, stopping once he caught up to him. "I bet they're all in the kitchen. Where else would they be?" he tried, wondering what to say. At that, he was wondering if he had made any stupid comments. He had an urge to dig through his pockets for some matches, but the nurse or any other adult that was nearby would probably scold him for lighting a match for no absolute reason. So he stayed put.

( As I told Kira, Hiara, I'm so sorry, keep bumping this for me ok? I'll be back on whenever I'm numb... But my grandmother died at 4:00 a.m this morning and I just found out... I don't feel as if I can rp right now, or in the mood to rp right now, but again, shall be back whenever I'm numb to reply... This'll help me take my mind off some things.... Sorry again guys... )

"Hnn... Your right. But we need a point B, what if they moved?.. Eh.. Never mind... Just a thought." Ian sighed shaking his head and glanced behind him noticing C was looking a little fidgety. "What is it?" He asked curiously tilting his head, the knuckle of his index finger going into his mouth from his curious train of thought.

"Beethoven's fourth?" Blue questioned glancing at the over eager H and smiled. "That's a good choice of song- it hardly fits your hyperactive personality- but it's a real good choice for a song." Red laughed and took the spoon out of R's hand and took a bite. "Mmm, that's some good ice-cream. Yo, get me a bowl would ya, brother?" Blue nodded and handed his own bowl over to Red who eagerly grabbed another spoon and dug it into the ice-cream container and dumped it into Blue's bowl. "Wow, and I thought that Chocolate Vanilla fudge swirl was good!" He chuckled. "Ah, personally, my favorite is strawberry." Blue added in and watched the previous bird on his brother's shoulder eagerly eat the ice-cream as well. Blue also caught himself smiling as he watched the cat he had made friend with only moments ago- leave. Personally he couldn't blame him- the happiness in the room was tainting the air worse then the putrid stench of the dead body.

(Omg! L grew! Nuu, Everyone has been clicking L and leaving Raito out, that's hilarious! xD Well, I told ya I'd reply didn't I? :3 Thanks guys for keeping this going. <3)

"I want to light a match," Cade said, frowning and cracking his knuckles. "But, I'm afraid I'll get yelled at. So, let's go get the others, and I think no one will mind me lighting a match in the kitchen." He motioned for Ian to follow as he walked off towards the kitchen, completely forgetting that he might need to help him walk again. It's not like he remembered little details much. At least, little details that have to do with people... 

(Aww... Poor Raito! D'8 *huggles the brunette*)

Haiku swallowed and grinned, laughing very quietly.

"Yeah, well, I love the cl*censored*ics. And not only because Roddy gets aggravated whenever I play any other type of music. Even though Gil hates it."

H immersed himself in the ice cream once more before looking up.

"Strawberry's pretty high up on my list, but fancy flavors catch my attention more. Something about things that shouldn't go together fitting so well in the same niche, am I right?"

He looked over the scene and noticed all of the things that shouldn't be together here. Dead body, happy mood (even if it was forced by at least two of the three); innocents, the accused; bright lights, dark intentions... Nothing about this place made sense and yet they all thrived in its embrase. The red-head allowed himself a moment to dabble in the thought that maybe none of them were meant to live. All of them, even if they didn't know it, longed for the darkness, because all they knew was the light. Another second p*censored*ed and these thoughts flew out the window.

H noticed Kio leaving, but just shook his head and took another bite, less enthusiastic this time. Whatever. Moody cat.
