"I'd like to actually see you try," Sethera snapped back, his glowing eyes narrowed further as he saw that the vampire had begun to break the crushing metal. His yellow orbs pulsated in their glowing. It caused the metal dumpster to pause slightly before increasing their crushing speed. But that had been enough of a pause for the vamp stuck in the constricting metal to shout a warning to a newcomer; a female. And, to Sethera, it looked like they knew each other.
Acheron had slipped in front of Sethera when the female came up to them, leveling a crowbar in their direction. His weathered jade eyes narrowed and he clicked the claws on the tips of his fingers together. "If you do not wish to hurt us, then just leave. My quarrel isn't with you," the shapeshifter growled.
Half-turning to glanced at his friend, Acheron asked in a low voice; "Hey, Seth, if I have to fight, which form?"
Sethera cocked his head slightly at his friend's question. "Velociraptor, perhaps. Or a cave lion," he said, shrugging slightly.

Sinth hissed and felt the metal loosen as he clawed hand pounded into it. He was this close from freedom and just as he was about to insult the bender, he once again felt constricted. The vampire's eyebrows furrowed in concentration as his body was slowly being crushed to death. More bones snapped, but his abilities couldn't heal any damage quick enough.
The shapeshifter was only halfway pointed towards Gemini, but she knew that he obviously had a close eye on her. She took that valuable time to glance at Sinth. Although she couldn't feel his soul, the other vampire still had some sort of presence that he gave off, and it was telling her that he was giving up. Gemini inwardly cursed and shot her head back over to the humans. If Sinth died, she was screwed.
"I don't understand why you would say that then, seeing is how you're making this my quarrel, too," she shot back, thinking of how odd his hands looked.
Afraid of another shapeshift by their conversation and her patience running out, Gemini acted instantly. Although she hated to use vampire abilities to her advantage, she knew that Sinth's time was running out.
With a little leveraged push, the vampire swung and let go of the crowbar in Acheron's direction, hoping to at least spare herself some time if he was distracted. Gemini immediately shot forward after that, pushing all her weight forward into tackling Sethera.

Acheron scowled. She didn't have to barge in though, the shapeshifter thought as he turned his eyes back towards her. The scales on his arms rippled. So did the downy feathers on his cheeks, but he blinked when she threw the crowbar at him. With it already being too late to dodge it, Acheron only had a few seconds to shift is position so it wouldn't hit his head. The metal bar hit his upturned arm as he blocked it. But he stumbled back slightly with a grunt.
A blur flashed past him as he saw the female tackle Sethera.
Sethera had basically had no warning. Other than the sudden pressure on his side before his concentration broke and he hit the floor. His glowing yellow eyes faded to dull before his vision blackened.
"NO!" Acheron shrieked, not watching the other vampire stuck in the twisted metal structure that had been a dumpster. In a moment of anger, the shapeshifter shape changed into one of the feared dinosaurs of its time; the Tyrannosaurus rex. He roared and lunged down with his head, open maw closing around the female.

Gemini fell on the floor after that, but she quickly scrambled to her feet using her elbows as leverage, pulling all her attention over to Sinth.
It simply hurt for the other vampire to open his eyes. He waited a moment before snapping his shoulder blade back into place and pounded on the metal structure that entwined him, much easier now that there wasn't much of a concentration on it. He gave another solid punch on the dumpster's surface and managed to break it.
I'd like to see a human do that, Sinth thought but quickly groaned in pain after that. He angrily hit at the metal that restricted him and crawled his way out, falling on the floor in front of him while his broken bones finally were able to mend properly. The vampire's head snapped up towards Gemini and glanced over at Sethera, addiction to blood boiling in the back of his throat.
No, he told himself and simply swallowed back the urge to drink blood. With enough energy to only heal half of his wounds, Sinth wobbled his bruised body to his feet, shrinking back to his more human form and looking up in time to see his fledgling companion become prey to the shapeshifter.
In an abrupt instant, a mouth plentiful of razor sharp teeth pierced into Gemini's skin. She bit into her tongue to stop from screaming out and felt the metallic taste of her own blood pool in her mouth, much like it was around her body as well. Anger practically leaked off of the shapeshifter, and any second he was going to chew her body into pieces. As hastily as she could, Gemini attempted to claw at the giant beast that enclosed her.
Sinth ignored it, however, and slowly stalked his way over to the mind bender.

Acheron barely felt the clawing. The only thing he felt was rage. He growled and tossed the female up with a quick flick of his head, his teeth tore through her flesh as he did so. Causing her blood to splatter across the black scales of his snout. Straightening his legs, Acheron stretched upwards so that when she came back down, she met his sharp teeth again.

OOC:// so am i. o;; i kind of want a werewolf now, to be honest. 8K jumping war sides like a bamf.
BIC:// Sinth gave another grunt of pain, but he managed to bend down far enough to grab at Sethera's arms. He could still feel the heartbeat echo off the human's chest and picked him off the ground, keeping the male close to his body.
The vampire's eye twitched at the smell of blood being so close and he hoped that his morals would get the best of him in the end. Sinth parted his jaws and exposed his fangs, keeping them close to Sethera's neck to make it appear like he was about to take his blood.
Gemini winced as the blood in her body was slowly drained out through her tore skin. Her deadweight was thrown in the air and the only thought that came to mind was how this must be what death felt like.
"Acheron!" Sinth shouted from the ground, barely pronouncing the name but knowing that he heard the other male address the shapeshifter as such, "let go of her or your friend is dead."
He only hoped that his bluff would pay off.

With his jaws firmly around the female, Acheron heard his name -- very badly botched by the way -- and turned his attention to the vampire that held his friend close. His fangs were exposed and poised above the telekinetic's neck. Acheron growled deep in his throat.
At the vampire's threat, Acheron narrowed his eyes and flicked his tail in a manor that could be taken as; "You first."

When the shapeshifter's enormous head turned his way, Sinth paused. He obviously wanted the vampire to let the human down first, but he knew that humans were deceivers.
There was a moment of silence as he contemplated this, but eventually gave in. There was no emotion or anything that he cared for Gemini, really, but he knew he'd feel guilty if he didn't help the fledgling out. Sinth's grip on Sethera loosened and he lightly set the human back onto the floor. Reconnecting eyes back to the shapeshifter, he took a few steps away from the body, waiting for Acheron to let drop the other vampire.

When the male vampire let go of Sethera and took a few steps away from his friend, Acheron finally let the female go. Actually, he just tossed her at him. His teeth ripping more of her flesh open. When she was away from him, Acheron slowly shifted back into his human form; crouching with his elbows on his knees. His red hair fell down his back in a loose braid; a few strands falling into his narrowed, weathered jade-eyed gaze.

Sinth blinked in surprised and managed to catch Gemini in time before she could fall to the ground. The female winced in surprise and held onto each opposite shoulder with her arms, desperate to keep her skin on her body. She licked at the blood on her cheek and shivered out of the other vampire's arms.
"What, do I have cooties?" He shot, glaring at Gemini as he wiped the blood onto his jeans from holding her.
She glared back at him and spit saliva into her hand, rubbing it up and down on her arms through her damaged jacket to get them to heal faster. Sinth looked up and over at Acheron suspiciously, wondering how he was going to get around the shapeshifter and out of the alley.
"We will be taking our leave now," he stated suspiciously, taking a few cautious steps towards the human with Gemini close behind him, "you sho-"
Before the vampire finished his sentence, a large crashing sound from outside the alleyway caused both of their heads to whip towards the sunlight. Another large crashing noise and a shout. With his suspicions raised even more, Sinth abruptly gave off an aggressive and agitated body language as he whipped past Acheron and stalked over to the edge of the building next to him.
"Gemini, we have to go," he said urgently, pulling his hood up and taking off down the sidewalk, as fast as his broken body would allow him to.
The female vampire's head perked up as she briefly saw a glimpse of brown fur, and under the wolf a bloody figure that was slowly burning in the sunlight.
"Um, sorry," she mumbled to the shapeshifter, unsure of the awkwardness as she stalked back to the end of the alley to grab her crowbar and power walked past him.

Acheron flinched at the loud crash. He hadn't been paying much attention to when the male vampire spoke to him. But when the male rushed past him, the shapeshifter sprinted to Sethera's side. His friend was still unconscious and Acheron furrowed his brows in concern. In fact, he barely heard the female vampire he mangled apologize before following he male Sethera half-crushed.
"Seth?" he asked as he gently ran his knuckles along his companion's jaw.
No answer.
That meant Acheron had to go find a safe house. One that wasn't compromised, before he himself passed out from lack of energy. Shape-changing did that to him.

What appeared to be a large brown wolf slowly shifted and descended towards a more human-looking figure. The werewolf dropped the corpse in his hands and watched as it dissolved to ash in the sun, taking his time to glance over and wink at Gemini.
The female vampire spit in his general direction and hissed before taking after her companion, making the werewolf frown.
"Am I not attractive enough for you?!" he shouted across the street at her retreating figure, flinging his hands up in the air for dramatic emphasis.
The werewolf turned around to the elf, who was busy checking the supplies in his bag, and snorted. "Did you see that?"
"Shut up Richard, maybe if you wiped the blood off your face once in a while you would actually be attractive to someone," the elf suggested, walking over and glancing into the alleyway, "besides, you're not important."
Richard ignored the dent in his pride and focused on the more current situation, bounding headfirst into the alley and taking a large sniff in the air. "Reaks of dead stuff. They're alive though."
The elf nodded and followed after the werewolf, gently bending over to to take a quick and skillful glance at the humans before him. "Um, I don't know if I can help them, Richie."
"You help people all the time."
"Their problems aren't really physical or anything. More like a lack of energy, and this other guy, I don't even know what's with this guy."
Duke thought about it for a moment before pulling on Acheron's deadweight and dragging him over to the building, leaning the male against the wall. He wasn't that strong and had difficulty carrying the weight, but Richard followed his lead instantly, doing the same with Sethera with no effort before bounding back towards the sidewalk to keep a lookout. The elf sighed in concentration and squatted down, resting his hand on the shapeshifter's arm, who appeared to have the brunt of the damage, and waited a moment before the pain finally warshed over him.
There were small cuts and bruises here and there, and Duke figured if he could do anything, then he might as well help a little bit. His eyes flashed teal and he squinted them in endurance as he felt blood leak out of his own arm.
"Dude, you guys don't look so good," the elf said after a moment, then glanced over at the werewolf, "think we could get them somewhere?"
Richard nodded and suddenly disappeared from sight, until Duke heard the crash of a window and figured that he must have broken into a house to unlock the front door.

Acheron didn't react when he felt somebody move him so his back was against the wall. His weathered jade eyes blinked dully at the pair of figures that invaded his vision. But he couldn't make out what species they were. Though, since they were helping him and Sethera out, they couldn't be that bad. When one of them healed [[ Duke did heal it, yes? ]] his injured arm, he bit his lip slightly at the pain it caused. Once over, Acheron relaxed slightly, resting his claw-nails on the ground. But he re-tensed when he heard the person who healed him tell him something.
It sounded like a statement of their appearance. Or something.
"We fought... two vampires... and lived," Acheron managed to get out through his rapidly approaching fatigue. "Seth almost... crushed one... with a dumpster." The shapeshifter tilted his head slightly to stare pointedly at the mangled metal dumpster. "He is... in worse... shape... than I am."
Then, he tilted his head to his still unconscious friend. Wake up soon, Sethera.
---
Hiding in a different shadow, a female with snow-white hair stood leaning against the side of a building. Her arms were crossed against her chest, the red kimono wrinkling slightly from the gesture. Well this was interesting. She had just witnessed a battle -- if it could be called that -- between a human, a shapeshifter, and two vampires. The human and the shapeshifter had piqued her interest when she was first walking through and so she decided to stay and watch it out.
But it seemed that her "entertainment" was interrupted by an elf and a werewolf.
She sneered. Black eyes flashing as she bared her teeth into a snarl. Her fangs were out; a natural response to her growing thirst. With a snort, she pushed herself off the wall and strode away from the group.
"I saw you stop, Imōto-chan," a voice said, causing her to pause and look at the person who spoke.
"Was interested, Zekkyounii-chan," she stated simply. "Reminded me of things..." She trailed off in her statement and brushed past the person. "Come. Let's go find these two vampires. I am much interested in meeting with them."
Zekkyou sighed and ran his fingers through his light brown hair. "Of course, Denthe," he said. He couldn't disagree with her. He was just as interested as she was since he did stop to watch as well.

((Hey you guys, sorry I haven't posted much. I didn't really see anything I could do with my characters without interrupting the battle (Which I find incredibly rude) and there wasn't really much I could say with Kevia, Zane, and Ace (I'll make a bio for Zane though, since I've decided to make him a full-fledged character). I thought about putting Sitri the demon in there sometime, but I have no idea how demons would be regarded, since they technically make deals with both sides, but fight with vampires. Any ideas? I've been keeping up with the story still, and you two really are pretty good. ^.^))
"Be careful where you throw your accusations," Kevia snarled, but she realized that this guy wasn't really much of a threat. At most, he just wanted supplies. And probably first aid.
"Causing more destruction in an already damaged city seems unwise. Setting the station on fire would be a foolish move, if only it destroys a valuable energy source and shouts our position to the world," Zane pointed out cooly. He noticed that Kevia had sheathed her weapon, but he wasn't so quick to believe that the threat had passed. "Would you mind coming nearer? It's really inconvenient shouting across the street when you look like you could bolt into the alley at any moment."

OOC:// yes duke did. c:< BAH you so should have interrupted the battle. that would've been fun. c: just jump in whenever and wherever, as that's what i've been doing. xD; so if you want, the house that richard just broke into could so be where Sydri lives of the sorts. o: AND THEN AN ALARM GOES OFF LOL. as for sitri, i'd almost say she could be regarded as a threat to everyone, simply for being a demon. o__o you could pull her off any way you want too, though.
BIC:// Duke leaned in carefully to hear the words coming from Acheron, realizing that the man was somewhat conscious in his state. Those two vampires were responsible, of course. He had expected it but decided not to jump to the conclusion. The elf glanced back to stare at the unrecognizable dumpster that the shapeshifter pointed to and let out a short laugh.
"Ha ha, well hopefully those vampires won't get far and we can finish the job. For your friend, though, I can't really help him. He'll wake up though, right?"
As Duke patiently waited for the other male, he unzipped his bag and took out a large gauze, unrolling it and wrapping it carefully over his right arm. Richard picked himself off the floor once he crashed into the window and looked around the well-kept house suspiciously, swishing the glass on the floor with his feet and directing the shattered pieces out of the main part of the floor. The werewolf unlocked the front door and kept it open as he raced across several houses to the alley.
"Okay, found a place," Richard panted, walking over and pointing his attention towards the shapeshifter, "if I supported your weight, do you think you could walk with me?" --- Gemini finally caught up with Sinth and gave a relieved sigh to find him safe under the shadows of a few connecting buildings, and she wasn't surprised to know that they weren't far off from the fight scene. He was busy holding onto his broken shoulder that kept popping out of place.
"Don't even say anything," Sinth hissed, standing up from his resting position and trailing around to the connection of alleyways he usually dabbled in.
The fledgling was in better condition than her elder, who was almost crushed to death, and she trailed slowly behind him and watched as he swatted at the every now and then rodent that scurried by. For a few minutes, Gemini watched dully as the vampire sucked dry the carcass of a rat he managed to find, which was just enough to heal a few surface bruises, and right before that, two unfamiliar scents caught on the wind and she cursed.
Gemini carefully gripped the crowbar in her hand and she glanced at Sinth, slowly leaving him in private as she walked away and glanced cautiously around the street, hoping for the unknown scents to pass. --- "You're not supposed to point out the flaws in my plan," Ace complained, slightly upset at how the other human processed things in a more survival way than he did, "besides, does it really matter? It's not like any of us are going to survive in the end, anyway."
The male bit his lip in thought as he stared over at the other two companions. What did he have to lose? Ace shrugged and spun the machete in his hand as he walked over to their building, carefully giving a quick knock on the abandoned building like they actually lived there. He awkwardly ruffled his blonde hair and said softly, "y'all never told me your names."

((I'll make it Sydri's house then :) Good way to introduce her.
And you're perfectly right. Sitri is not to be trusted.))
"That's a pessimistic way of looking at things, champ," Kevia goaded, crossing her arms stubbornly. The door fell down at Ace's knock, and she snorted in amusement. "My name's Zane, this is my subordinate, Kevia. I run the Theives Guild," Zane said, sheathing the throwing dagger and extending a hand to shake. He promptly received a sharp elbow in the gut from Kevia.
"I'm no one's 'subordinate,'" Kevia snarled, "And I can very much speak for myself."
"We've got a few bandages upstairs. You got a name?" Zane asked, ignoring Kevia's objection. It was her out of control attitude that made her a subordinate. She was only proving his point.
-~-~-~-~-
It was late in the afternoon (or so I assume) when Sydri heard the peculiar, and yet unmistakable, sound of shattering glass on the first floor of her mansion. How unfortunate. The alarm rang softly in her bedroom, and she shut it off before the assailant could know that he or she was discovered. Her pointed ears were angled slightly forward, and as she crept down the winding staircase, the light from the sun lit up her thin, angled features, marking her as an elf. Her hair was raven black with thick, unorganized curls that bounced whenever she moved and framed her blue eyes, which were atypical of elves where she came from.
She was pretty sure that she was still unnoticed when she saw the broken glass and the figure. He seemed human enough, and was clearly masculine, and her heightened elven senses told her that he was a bloody mess. He was unarmed, but she wasn't about to take any chances.
As he left her abode through the front door, she teleported to her doorway. "Nahir!" she shouted, the word for fire, creating a short wall of flames in the arch and the broken window. "Yeh dare trespass in me own home?" Sydri yelled over the crackling flames, her voice a thick Irish accent.

Acheron tilted his head back to Duke as he realized the other man had spoken. "I hope. His... head... hit the ground... pretty hard," he said, remembering when the female tackled the telekinetic. When the other male's friend came back and asked a pointed question to the shapeshifter, Acheron paused to consider it before slowly nodding.
---
Denthe strode with his hands clasped behind her back, following the scents of the two vampires. Her black irises were a stark contrast against the white sclera of her eyes. Under her breath she hummed a Japanese tune. Stopping, she spotted one of the vampires.
A lean female who was looking around at the mouth of an alleyway with a weary presence. "Found you," she said as she slipped up closer. "I saw that battle. Got whooped by a shapeshifter and a pure-blooded human? That is rather sad, considering they are fragile."
Behind her, Zekkyou smirked slightly at his younger sister's teasing tone. He knew he shouldn't be speaking at the moment. Because now was not the time.

"Oh, you're injured," Sydri said with a bl ink, swiping her staff to dismiss the flames. "Yeh know, all ye had to do was knock. I've got some supplies, but breakin me window was uncalled for," she said. She opened the door wide enough for everyone to enter. "My name's Sydri Robins."
