Stormtalon sat under Highrock, his blue tail curled around his white paws as he waited for Fallenstar to make his announcement. He could tell just by looking that the ginger tom was a fiery and strong cat, whild the beige was quite level-headed. He was a bit doubtful of the blue though, for she looked nervous and small next to her confident littermates.

Leafstorm lay just outside the Med. Cat's den, lying on her side so she wouldn't re-open her wounds. Having recently been attacked and mauled in the stomach by a fox, she was unhappy that she was missing the ceremony. Luckily, she knew that Stormtalon could tell her all she needed when it was over.

Rainflower trailed after her apprentice, slightly tired from chasing and watching her for a long time. "Slow... down... Duskpaw!" She panted, unable to understand how this apprentice was still full of energy. Rainflower finally managed to walk up to Duskpaw. The she-cat put the tip of her tail on Duskpaw's shoulders. "You did well today, Duskpaw." Rainflower said. "I'm proud."

Fallingstar approached Flamestrike first. "Flamestrike, you are a valuable deputy, and a wise and loyal cat. You shall be the mentor of Skypaw." Fallingstar made a small emphasis on Skypaw's name. 'This cat, and her littermates, will become Clan.' Fallingstar thought. 

Skypaw looked up at the large tom, eyes wide with apprehension. What if my mentor doesn't like me? she though anxiously, looking down at her paws in confusion.

Duskpaw's ears swiveled as she attempted to listen to Fallingstar, but she couldn't. She was too busy thinking about wha tshe had done today. Realizing that she was still carrying the vole, she set it down at her feet and waited for Flamestrike to see it...

Lifewing gazed longingly at the kit she ahd given up so many moons ago. Her blind kit had grown into such a nice cat and she had grown out of handicap. She sighed lovingly and returned to watching the ceremony...

Leafstorm gazed at the ground, then put her head on her paws and tried to sleep, seeing as she had nothing else to do till Stormtalon came with the news.

Stormtalon stiffled a mreow of laughter at the small blue kit, who looked nearly frightened to death by the whole process, and Flamestrike.

Shadowstorm's eyes twinkled with starlight as she padded up to the newly named Scorchpaw. She bent down to touch noses with him, her pelt rippling in the starlight. "You're doing great. Don't worry. I'll teach you all I know so you can be a great warrior." She whispered to him.

Flamestrike padded up to the highrock and stood beside his leader. He looked down at Sky and realized that this would probably be his apprentice. The wiry she-cat stood tall and he immedietly liked her attitude.

Icepaw watched the ceremony play out. She felt bad for letting Coalpaw do all the talking though. She crept over to him. "Three new apprentices, huh." She whispered to him and remembered how Sky had clung to Coalpaw's side for the entire walk over. Her tail thumped against the ground as jealousy stabbed her. She shook her head angrily. Coalpaw was just a friend, but as she looked at the smoky tom who knew her so well, she realized she liked him.

Emberpaw padded back into camp and was startled to see Fallingstar and three kits on the highrock. She padded into the medicine den and dropped off the poppy seeds and the cobwebs. Then, she went to check on Leafstorm. "How are your wounds?" She asked, examing the line of a scab running down Leafstorm's flank.

Flamestrike shook his head from watching the apprentice and dipped his head closer to Fallingstar's ear. He whispered words from Pantherclaw to him. "Pantherclaw tells me that Coalpaw is ready to be a warrior. He also says that Icepaw performed magnificently in her a.ssessment today. Blizzardpaw is also ready. I believe after the kits are named, they should have their warrior ceremonies." He said. 

((Coalfire, Icewhisper, and Blizzardwind for their names. You wanted Coalfire right?))

Flamestrike dipped his head to his mate, grateful for her support. Icepaw twitched her ears as she heard some of what Flamestrike was saying to Fallingstar. Jealousy forgotten, she nudged Coalpaw. "Did you hear that?" She asked him, her ears still pricked. "Fallingstar's going to make us warriors tonight," She mewed happily. Blizzardpaw padded over, his ear wrapped in cobwebs. "Mousebrain," Icepaw muttered and Blizzardpaw flicked his tail at her. "I'll tell you about it later. Fallingstar's going to make us warriors?" He asked and Icepaw nodded enthusiastically. Blizzardpaw rolled his eyes. "Calm down, would ya," He muttered and Icepaw wondered why he was so glum. Leafshadow glared at them from her spot a little ways away from Coalpaw. "A naming ceremony is taking place. Stop your talking," She hissed at them and Icepaw resisted the urge to roll her eyes again. Why did everyone want her to be quiet?
