She screeched when the chain wrapped around her. She found she could not answer Spirit, she didn't have he strength or energy to do so. She tryed to wriggle her body out of the chain that was wrapped tightly around her slim waist, but she found that in doing that action it only made her bleed more.
Alyx tilted his head in the gloom, and said, seeming puzzled, "I'm taking Sister Worm to Brother Dravius. He hasn't worms in his head, you know." The mad boy tapped his head and added, " Brother's green and Alyx's purple!" He giggled, and pulled Ceirse closer, dragging the girl closer to her doom. "Brother pulled the worms out when they turned poor Alyx out." He frowned, and wound the chian aorund his hand. "Come, Sister Worm. The harder you pull, the owrse it gets. Better to just come and save yourself the pain."
"Never bring that horrid drink here again."
"It tastes of blue, not the river-dwelling reptile, as I had thought."
(Get her into the shadows and your on her turf. o-o)
Ceirse snarled. "I'd rather kill myself trying to get away from you than go willingly." She paused. "Pain is my friend. You. Aren't." She meant to say those words bravely, but the whole effect was ruined by her only being able to say it weakly. She kicked her self mentally for sounding so weak. She paused again. "And what's with all the worms?"
