Altair shrugged lightly. "I'm not what you'd call...a 'social butterfly'," he replied. "Nor am I one of the 'Populars'. I stay away from large group conversations because I usually get lost with all the different people talking about different things." He chuckled a little after finishing that sentence, but it was more of a nervous chuckle than a happy one.

"Hmm, I don't think a lot of people here would be considered popular. Nor 'social butterfly' or whatever." Espen grinned devilishly. "The jocks don't have the girls to drool over them, and none of the guys -- gay or not -- are gonna be doing that for them." He laughed. "In other words, no one here is much for conversation, unless they actually leave the campus." Espen took a deep breath, still smiling.
