Leafsong rolled her eyes and gathered the kits up, "come on, we're going back to camp. I'm sure any of the queens will take you in," she purred.

Leafsong looked back, "Oh dear," she mewed as she padded back to the kit, nudging her with her nose, "Come on then Angelkit. Would you rather I carried you?"

Angelkit frowned, uncomfotable.

Applekit and Starkit giggled, they were always teasing Angelkit because she was a baby.

Swiftdash shook her head, "lets get going then!" She said, padding toward camp at a brisk pace.

"Sorry." Adderstrike said to Angelkit, "I'm not a big fan of kits. You are too small." there was a teasing edge to his voice. In truth, kits always appealed to his soft spot, but that was his secret.

Angelkit looked up. " I ish always teased, so it no matter" she mewed.

Applekit looked in the nursery, it looked bare.

Starkit played with Leafsong's  ear.

Applekit climbed on Leafsong's head.

Starkit climbed over her tail.

Angelkit wiggled and slowly stumbled over to Leafsong, she tumbled between Leafsong's paws and layed there, smiling.

Angelkit giggled. " Big won" she said, poking Leafsong's nose. Angelkit had no claws, she was born that way.

Starkit giggled. She climbed on Leafsong's back and smiled. 

Applekit smiled, and tumbled onto her tail.

Adderstrike fought back a smile as he slipped out of the nursery silently. He badded to the Freshkill pile and began to gnaw of a vole, when he was joined by his brother.

Feralwind's dark ginver fur shone in the light, "greeting brother." he said with a dip of his head.

Adderstrike shook his head, "I have no brother." he hissed bitterly.

"C'mon Adderstrike! You cant still be mad qabout what happened to our parents!" Feralwind complained, "It wasnt my fault!"

"I NEVER BLAMED YOU." Adderstrike spat, rising to his paws, "And you know that. I didnt JUST lose my parents that day. I lost a part of myself. We lost Mintcomet! You know how much she meant to me!" His ears were pinned today, "Your brother is D-E-A-D!" he hissed, "Along with his mate, and the kits she carried." He spun and stalked out of camp, tail lashing furiously.

"You can change your name." Feralwind called after him, "but you cannot change who you are Windrush!" he called.

Adderstrike winced at the sound of his true name, but kept stalking forward in a angry silence.

Feralwind dipped his head to Swiftdash as he padded to the warriors den.

Dreamsplash still dozed in the sun, it warmed her thick, grey fur. Her ears twitched as she heard Feralwind and Adderstrike argue, but she ignore it and fell back asleep.

Swiftdash shook her head and walked ove rto the nursery, "how is everyone?" she asked Leafsong.

The three nodded.

Applekit smiled. " But we all eat differently" she meowed.

Starkit bounced. " I eat fruit and berries" she meowed.

Applekit smirked. " I eat meat, and Angelkit still takes milk" she mewed.

 Angelkit giggled sweetly.
