Leafsong crouched down and cuddled Angelkit, "I'll visit you when I can but I'm not a queen and I can't feed you. I'll miss you but I'm not your mother," she mewed sadly, hugging the kit closer.

((Re-post. Dx Because I'm lost and too lazy to read. -fail-)) Limefeather stretched, padding out of her den and into the harsh sunlight with a smile. The scent of herbs clung to her pelt, making her head feel light and slightly fuzzy. It was a nice feeling. She started to look for a warrior or apprentice to help her gather herbs; she had quite the few that she needed. _________ Oakfeather padded into camp with a mouse and a sparrow clamped between his jaws. He glanced at the fresh kill pile, setting his kills with the rest. Although he hadn't eaten today, he wasn't hungry. He felt like just sitting by a stream, or dozing in the sunlight rather that going on patrol or hunting more.

Limefeather blinked at the tom in surprise. "Hello Adderstrike," she said gently. "Are you busy right now? I need to collect some herbs, but nobody else seems to be available." She stretched nimbly, smiling as the sunlight beamed down on her fur. It was nice out today, it seemed.

Limefeather nodded, standing back up. "All right then," she said quietly. "Let's go find some yarrow and nettle seeds. The only ones are near the border." She turned to him momentarily, then turned away again and started to pad out of camp.

Limefeather chuckled lightly, in good manner. "I'll show you when we get there." She plucked a large, green leaf off of the ground and kept walking. She mumbled from it, "Carry them in this dock leaf, so you don't hurt yourself or eat any."

Limefeather stopped walking, setting her dock leaf on the ground so she could scent the air accurately. She turned her bright green eyes on a tall green plant with smallish purple flowers on it. "Burdock root," she chimed, starting to dig at the base of the plant.

Adderstrike shrugged, "shouldnt you let them grow untill we do need them?" he suggested, "I understand the yarrow in case a kit eats some deathberries by accident or something, but a infection can't cause immeadeate death can it?"

Limefeather mumbled over the burdock, "Any wound on the chest, throat, head, or stomach, that becomes infected, can become fatal quickly." She blinked at him evenly. "And I didn't take that much anyways. There's still plenty left for next year."
