Josh frowned for a minute, thinking hard. He stopped dancing, as the music stopped, and looked at her. "What's your name?" he asked quietly.

"Jacoby," she teased, "I could hardly reconise you under all those fancy clothes and that mask." Her eyes sparkled, and she could help but hope he'd ask her to dance.

Scourge slipped her hand away from his as they stopped dancing. "Uhm... it's a little crazy..." She said, and glanced around for a moment, "My name is Scourge..." She said, her voice fading, "What about you? what's your name?" She asked quickly

Jacoby rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah..." he said sarcastically, and then fixed his tie, laughing, "I do look quite nice though, no?" he stated, chuckling. He turned his head to Reverend, and bit the bottom of his lip slightly, blinking once.

Reverend glanced at Jacoby, then Charlotte, Oh! he wants to dance with her i bet! He said in his thoughts. He grinned, "Well uhm, i'm thirsty, so i'm gonna go grab a drink." He stated, winking at Jacoby, as if to say 'go for it' and he turned and disappeared down the hall

Josh's heart nearly stopped. So she is the girl from the park... "My name's Josh," he smiled, carefully, "And I'm the guy you met at the park." He braced himself for swearing and yelling.

Charlotte blushed. "You look great," she said simply, watching nervously as Reverend walked away. That started to make things really akward. "Soo..." she chuckled nervously, looking at her feet. She had the feeling he wasn't going to ask her to dance.

Jacoby nodded, "Thanks... you look better though." he stated. He glanced up at the music player as another song slowly came into play. "So, may we dance?" He asked nervously, he almost wondered if she was going to say no, but he shook off the feeling

Scourge's face went blank for a slight seocnd, before she shook her head once, "Whoa, wait... what?" She half-stammered, you mean the as.s who doesn't know how to stay on the low-down with his powers? She refrained herself from saying. "The drawing-in-the-sand/i'm-a-grumpy-bum kid i met in the park?" She asked, and couldn't help but smirk.

Josh grinned a rare, dazzling, handsome smile. "You forgot the part where I stabbed someone when I was twelve," he chuckled, "Yeah that's me."

"I'd love to," Charlotte breathed, heart giving a little jolt. This song was slower though, Charlotte realized, and she glanced towards the only people dancing.

A girl with red hair, and a boy with brown, were dancing. The boy had both hands on her waist, and the girl had her arms around his neck, resting her head on his shoulder. Charlotte's heart jumped again. How I'd love to dance with Jacoby like that... But she shoved it off. After all, they hardly knew each other.

"and stabbed someone when he was twelve." Scourge replied, "I didn't forget it now." Her eyes narrowed for a moment, "Don't tell me you've been... shadowing about in public still." She whispered, the lasting thing she needed was to get kicked out of this town because her or some other powered kid got found out.

Jacoby smiled at Charlotte, he extended his hand for her to take it. (fail of shortness XD)

"I learned my lesson," Josh chuckled. "Don't worry."

Charlotte took his hand gratefully, flushing a deep pink colour again. "Gosh, I blush so easily.." she mumbled. But that wasn't true; she was just jumpy around Jacoby for some reason.

Jacoby nodded, hearing what she'd said, "i agree, you do." He said, smiling as he turned and put his hand around her waist.

Scourge rolled her eyes, grinning, "You better've, or i'd had to beat it into you." She stated humorously

"Hmm," Josh smirked, "Maybe you'll just have to do that now."

Charlotte put both arms around his neck bravely, eyes sparkling. "I never did teach you how to dance like this," she mumbled with a smile, "I think now's a good time to learn. Put both hands on my waist." She pulled him closer to her, heart beating wildly.

Scourge smirked again as well, "Don't test me, kid." She started, "I may just launch at you out of nowhere." She replied, her eyes shining with delight to the thought of flipping someone over a table again.(XD)

Jacoby stared at Charlotte in somewhat surprise, before nodding slighty, "Alright." He said, and slid his arms up to her waist. He glanced at the couple next to them who were dancing in the same position, "Oh, well, it looks almost the same kind of dancing." He stated, at least it wasn't something completely new, like salsa or something.

"I'll be looking foreward to that," Josh teased with a playfull smirk.

Charlotte set her head on his shoulder. Her heart was hammering so hard it felt like it would claw it's way out of her chest. "So," she mumbled in his ear, "Having fun yet?"

Jacoby laughed slightly, "I'm having a lot of fun." He replied with an oddly calm tone. "What about you? are you having fun?" He asked, God, she seems so nervous... He thought to himself, he thought he could actually feel her heart pounding as they danced.

Scourge rolled her orange eyes, Giving josh a light shove.(fail XD)

"I'm having a wonderful time," she breathed, closing her eyes. She never wanted tonight to end; it was the best time she'd had since, well, before the Jacob incident.

Josh grinned. "I'd shove you back, but that's against my policies." His eyes flickered. "Anyway, want to grab something to drink?"

Scourge grinned, "And that's what's great about being a girl." She stated, and paused, "Yeah, sure." She chuckled, "Hurr, fridge raiding." She joked, mostly to herself

Jacoby smiled, glancing at the ceiling. He wondered for a moment if moving his hand would corrupt their dancing, but he didn't think it would, so he lifted hand and stroked her hair for a slight moment. He sighed, looking at the glove that was covering his hand. He never really got to 'feel' anything anymore... nothing but gold...

Josh smiled again, walking over to the bar. "I'll have water with ice please," he mumbled, eyeing the waiter with distaste. He turned to Scourge. "What do you want?"

Charlotte smiled. "I don't want this to end," she whispered in his ear softly. His hand on her hair made her blush slightly with joy.

Scourge shrugged, "I dunno, coca-cola?" She said the first thing that came to mind.

Jacoby looked back down at her. "I agree, i don't want it to end either." He mumbled in reply.
