Sarah glanced at him with even eyes; no signs of tears. She smirked coldly. "That sounds a lot better than staying around with your as$." She brushed past him, nearly touching him with her right hand, and not really caring if she did or not. Without looking at him, she said slowly,

"Go to Hell Luke; so you and Jace can party there for the rest of eternity, sleeping with women, not caring about anybody but yourselves and being jerks." She opened the door swiftly, and paused. "Because in the end; you're both the exact same. And I know that's all you want me for, Luke. Because you're a sick and twisted bastard."

She walked out of his room, and out of his life, slamming the door behind her.

Sarah's eyes narrowed at first in fury, and then softened and got a little wider at the end of his rant. "I told you already Luke," she said softly, lips trembling slightly. "I'm a monster." She didn't know how to answer his little poem and question, so she just stood there, stunned. Her shoulders felt on fire where his hands touched her, making her want to wrap her arms around him. But then she remembered her hand.

She stared into his eyes, and then stepped backwards, and sucked in a deep breath. Her voice was quiet, but precise.

"You did plan on using me. You agreed to that bet with Jace, which just lowers you to his level. I don't care who he posed as, Luke, because even if it wasn't you, I still would have slept with him. Why? Because I was drunk, stupid, and alone." A stray tear streaked down her cheek like a comet through the clear night sky. "I don't want to be with you, Luke. Not the way you want to be with me. I know you want more than friendship....But I just can't do that..."

She took another step away from him, trying not to start crying. "I like you, a lot, but this is just too much for me." She started to turn away, raising her voice so her last five words echoed like in a nightmare.

"I'm moving away from here."

Then she started to walk away.

Luke's hands dropped to his sides and he just watched her go. Sure, he had wanted more than a friendship, and yes, he had made the bet, but Sarah was missing the point. Let her go. A voice in his head said, she not worth the pain. He stuck his hands in his packets and walked to the elevator, riding to the first floor and walking out the door. He made his way back to tha park and sat down by the same tree he had sat beneath earlier. He leaned his head back on the tree and clenched his jaw. Stupid mistakes. Thats all he ever made....

Sarah walked down the empty streets, eyes on her feet, tears streaming down her face. Her stomach hurt like someone had punched her repeatedly, and her head was spinning in reeling, confusing circles. She bit down on her lip, hard, so hard that it started to draw blood.

She wiped her face with the back of her right hand, staring at it in fury. She finally snapped, and screamed, "WHY AM I SUCH A MONSTER?!" She slid down the wall she was next to, and started to sob quietly to herself. Her scream echoed around the street, almost seeming to tease and taunt her. Another question entered her mind, and she bit back from screaming it out loud.

Why am I falling for* Luke?

Reverend knawed on the inside of his cheek, trying to think of something to say, when he heard someone yelling, he couldn't make out perfect words, but he did manage to make out 'I' and 'Monster'. "What the hell was that?" He asked Charlotte and Jacoby.

Jacoby glanced up at Rev. and shrugged, "I dunno." (you fail, coby XD)
