Jacoby lifted his head at the sound of someone yelling not too far away. 'before i turn you to gold!' was all he caught. He swore they were talking about his for a moment, when he reliezed it was a girl yelling at a guy. He shrugged it off. He turned to Charlotte, he didn't want to walk that way, not sure of what would ensue between those kids. "Is that squirrel really your pet?" he asked, leaning up against the nearest tree.

"A mistake!" Sarah said, spinning around. She studied her shoes carefully. "Look, I'm sorry I pissed you off and everything. Just keep your mouth shut, and dont tell me about some bull family problems. I'm up to my ears in them and I could care less if you think i'm lying or not. I enjoy life, and take whatever it throws at me." She swiftly picked up a small dandilion. "Even tihis." She took her glove off, touched one finger to it, and watched as it turned to gold. She then put her glove back on, thrust the gold flower into Luke's hands and walked away briskly.

Luke watched the flower in astonishment. He turned it over in his hands. Solid gold. He watched Sarah walk away and broke into a run to catch her, he grabed her shoulder, "how did you do that?" he squstioned, still in a state of shock.

Luke stepped in front of her and walked backwards, "damn straight I'm talking to you!" He stopped walking, forcing her to eather stop or walk into him, seen as how there wasnt wnough room to go around him on the narrow path.
