Ace smirked with amusement and said"i made the crowd gasp in terror i find it quite amusing,".

Chris ran in, and the crowd cheered even louder. He looked around for Jake, but then saw that all of the whitelighters had been poofed together. Jake looked around, but at seeing the whitelighters, the crowd went INSANE.

Then, the announcer began talking.

"Welcome to the 1000000000th whitelighter competition! We would like to introduce our competors. But first, lets let the whitelighters come face to face with their follower, who they have never met before!"

The crowd went insane.

A curtain dropped, revealing 8 whitelighers. 4 female, 4 male.

Jake shuddered.

Chris gasped.

One looked exactly like....

Lucy.

But younger.

"How?" Chris whispered. 

Ayrion felt his knees wobble and he collapsed onto his knees, staring at the younger Lucy, fear in his eyes. "Lucy." No sound came out as he mouthed her name.

Kane watched Ayrion with irritation and slight fear. He didn't want Ayrion's cover blown. Besides, they might target Lucy to get to him and Jake.

And while all this happened, a tiny newborn babe crawled through the inside of the works, examining everything, occasionally pulling out a bolt or two. After a while, she stopped at one seat, looked up, and saw through the floorboards the sorcerer. Se smiled and sat down. She turned to the opening ceremony, sat down, and sucked her thumb, watching. 

They started reading off the whitelighters. When they came to the girl who looked like Lucy, they said, "Age 13, Aelita Hanson."

Jake made a gagging sound.

Chris just stared, jaw dropped. 

At that, Ayrion snapped. He seemed to run to the stage. "Aelita!"

Kane rushed to him and grabbed his arms, keeping him form running to her.

~

"AELITA!" Ayrion roared. Not hsi daughter. Please not his daughter.

~

Sara smiled and waved at Aelita. "Aelita!" She called happily. "Good luck!"

Then, the whitelighters walked to their groups. Jake ran to the others, not keeping his eyes off of her. The girl had strange markings on her face that swirled around. Then, to his horror, she walked over to them. 

"Oh, hello Jake, Chris, Randie, Kane, and Dad." She smiled eerily. Something about her was horrible, she was animal like, and fast, but not jerky. She had this grace about her, but everyone was clearly afraid of you.

"Ah, you all will change so much in the future. Jake, you look so short now! I cant wait until the day that you learn how to change your skin. And stop being so gawky."

She paused, and turned to face Chris. "Now, you are the real shocker. My memories of the past are dim, but you are going to change so much, so fast."

Chris made a noise in the back of his throught.

"Oh father, how nice it is to see you young. And Kane, you haven't changed at all!"

Kane grimaced a smile. "Isn't that the point of being what I am?" He said with a slight bitter taste in his mouth.

Ayrion rushed to Aelita and picked her up in a huge bear hug. "Aelita... My baby." he whispered. He looked at her. "You might be smart and older now, but that doesn't mean I won't call you things that are true." he growled. He kissed her on the forehead.

Sara wanted to go to Aelita and her dad, but she had too wait. 

"Oh father, how you shall love the future! I came from 6000. It is wonderful!" Aelita siad.

"Um.... How?" Chris asked.

"All will be told soon." She nodded though.

"Well, its time for you all to go perform. Good luck!" Aeltia said, and then dissapeared into a puff of smoke.

Ayrion sighed and stood back up. His clown suit was still on. Then, he had an idea. He went to Jake and pretended to act like a monkey. "Sorry Jake." he muttered in Jake's ear. "Only way to remain the weak and stupidest link." He said with a chuckle.

((The guys are gonna attack him first to get rid of the 'weak link' only to find that he's the second strongest link. lol ))

Aelita chuckled from the crowd. Humans or half humans or any mix of humans could be so...... funny!

"Ok, Ayrion, you ready? You sing remember?" Chris asked.
