Lanza watched Steel and the two Outlanders with curiosity. He had left his sister Aquinnah in the den to wait for the ceremony to begin and was wandering around Pride Rock. That was when he spotted them. He approached them with considerable caution, and stood beside Steel. "I thought you weren't supposed to cross the borders." he remarked with a laugh, for Lanza was an easy-going fellow though he possessed a temper. He smiled at Soul, instantly liking her. |

"Well, we're not," Soul replied. "But we figured if we're not doing any harm then we should be allowed at least a walk in better lands." Not to mention that pretty soon they would be loners. She managed a smile, thus completing her look of total innocence. Heart, on the other hand, remained looking stoic and hollow. Strangely enough he didn't look threatening.

Selene looked at her brother. "The babies have been born." She growled and rolled her eyes. ~~~ Steel smiled again. "Well if they weren't so preoccupied with the cibs, I'm sure the would have seen you by now.... I personaly don't mind you being here as long as no trouble is vaused." He said before sarting to walk away... He wasn't really needed there any more, being the female there has taken a liking to one of his Pride mates... |

Soul dipped her head in forced appreciation. "We'll remember that," she murmured. Her eyes locked on Heart, and without a word the pair turned and started away, sticking out like sore thumbs. "Soul, we need to be careful," Heart murmured to her. The bigger lion took a sidestep, avoiding her paw. "Just an observation." "I know that!" she spat. "Don't tell me things I already know." Besides, she was irritated enough at being caught so soon. She sighed softly and shook her head, stopping. "I'm sorry, Brother. It's just... I'm not sure how we'll do once we leave..."

The pair stared at each other a moment before launching themselves at each other. They play-fought until Soul accidentally scratched Heart's cheek; his white fur turned red. He snarled at her and she took off running. They sprinted off into the unknown Pridelands.

Kiara got up, picking up Shetani gently. She slowly walked to the pointy tip of the rock, and motioned to a nearby lioness to look after her. She repeated the procedure with all the cubs until all of them were safely near the place where they were to be presented. "Where's Kovu?" she asked out loud. Lanza watched the pair run off. He turned to Steel and shrugged, then ran after them. ~ Aragorn snorted. "Yeah. I still don't know what's so great about those rascals." |

Heart caught Soul on her haunches, making several deep scores. Soul roared and spun around, spitting, "That's overkill!" and launched herself at her brother. One of the main reasons they both had so many scars was because their sibling rivalry was much fiercer than normal. They both locked in battle, snarling and hissing and clawing at each other. Though Soul was much smaller than her brother she appeared to be winning, repeatedly getting him on his back.

"Bravo to what?" Heart asked, tossing his sister against a large rock. She fell to the ground, but instead of attacking she sat down and started licking her wounds; he'd won this time.

"Shut up," Soul muttered. They both knew that neither one would hesitate to kill the other in battle. Afterwards they'd mourn, yes, but in battle they were heartless beasts. Heart merely watching his sister clean her wounds, not bothering with his own.
