The buck,on the other hand,noticed the two griffins coming and tried his best to run away,but before he could reach the trees Spirit was already digging her claws into his sides.

Kendall leapt onto the bucks back and bit into the back of its neck to hold himself steady as he tried to tear at its throat with his talons.

Spirit let herself drop from it's side and then jumped and grabbed it's throat with her talons,then dug her talons farther into it's throat until it fell to the ground and stopped twitching.
