Spirit flew faster as she spotted a few large male griffins walking below,"This way...",she whispered to Kendall as he caught up.

One of the large griffins below looked up,"Hey look what we got here,Dark.",he said as he nudged his friend-Dark.
"A couple of small fries,it appears and hey that one looks female. We could possibly kill that male no dought and you know were I'm going with the rest...",the griffin said with a grin as he looked back at his friend,"Right Fisher?"
Fisher nodded.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

"Are you feelling a bit uneasy about those griffins? I sure am...",Spirit said as she turned around another mountain top,trying to find the den she was looking for.

Fisher and Dark decided they would try to go along with their plan and unfolded their wings,took off silently into the air after the two griffins infront of them. Really hoping their plan would work,they decided they would first ground the female by possibly clawing her wings and then her legs,so she couldn't walk away either,then attack the male.

SSpirit looked behind them,"Oh crud!",she said her eyes wide,"Should we try to fight them?",she asked Kendall in a quiet tone of voice as she stopped flying and stayed in place her eyes locked on the griffins.

"Hey,that female stopped.",Dark said with a smirk.
"That small thing thinks she could possibly beat us?",Fisher who could now easily be known as the leader of the two.

"About fifty to fifty,considering their size.",Spirit said as one of the others griffins screeched and flew at them,the other one following close behind him.

"Take down the female first,then go for the male.",said Fisher,who is most definatly the leader now.
"Ok.",Dark said as him and the leader flew at Spirit.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Spirit screeched and clawed the leader in the face and then the leader clawed her back hitting all her legs making large gashes. While Spirit screeched in pain the follower of the two clawed her wings and made her drop from the sky.
----------------------------------------------------------------
Dark cried out as the female dropped from the sky and looked down to see her latching helplessly onto his front legs with her beak.

Kendall slashed blindly at who he guessed was the leader and then went to help Spirit. He carefuly manuvered himself below her, "I'll catch you!" he called.

Spirit didn't let go of his leg and mumbled,"If I de your dieing with me!",quietly to herself.

"Fisher!",cried Dark,"I can't get her off!",he said as he shook his leg with the female still firmly latched onto his leg refusing to let go of it.
Fisher,who was trying to recover,flew at her and rammed her in the side with claws outstreched and beak open,he jabbed her sides and gripped with his claws,then bit in with his beak. After moments of her blood falling to the ground Fisher let go of her and made her began her fall towards the ground and not the male griffin ready to catch her below.
Meanwhile the other male griffin began charging at the smaller male and screeching wildly,his leg limp from the force of the females hold. He rammed into the smal male crushing him against a rock solid wall.

Kendall squaked in pain before the air was forced out of his lungs on impact with the rock wall.

Fisher flew up and put his talons around the small griffins neck and grinned evily,then motioned for Dark to go to the dieing female on the ground and put a claw over her neck,"Try to hurt anyone here and she dies!",he said as he clampped down harder on the smaller males neck,"You got that!"

Spirit opened her eyes slightly and felt the claw against her neck and cried out for help from Kendall.

Fisher let go of the griffin and let him fly away,"If you try to save her you both die! She will die slowly a painfully ,you quickly and lesspainfully,so I suggest,if you love her enough,you will not come save her!",he screeched.

Spirit managed to cry out,"Don't listen to him! I love you!",which made the leader turn his head quickly and look at his friend,"Shut her up!",he yelled as his friend dug his claw into her skin making her screech in agony.

Kendall gasped a few breaths then turned tail and fled. Chosing flight over fight when outmatched was like breathing to him. Easy.

Spirit closed her eyes tightly not beleiving what she was seeing and hoping it was just a dream,"Kendall!",she screamed.

Spirit kept crying and tried to fly after him,but didn't have any luck at even moving a feather,"Kendall... Come back...",she whispered helplessly to herself.

Fisher laughed,"That will not help he said as he looked at his friend and said aloud,"She isn't any use to us now that she is badly injured and almost dead. Lets just dump her somewere.",he said as he grabbed her in his talons and sped off towards the small male,but atleast a mile ahead and of him by how fast he was going. Dark followed behind him and grinned at the dieing female,then flew up to her face,"Good luck getting any help you worthless dog.",he said with a smirk. Soon they dumped of Spirit in a river bank and flew off. Left for dead she screeched helplessly.

Spirit screeched louder as the griffin went out of her view and then screamed for Kendall as loud as she could.

Kendall folded his ears back, there was no way he was moving towards Spirit's scream, not with the possibility of the griffin's attacking him again.
