Spirit smiled at the cave and then at Kendall,whos face was shining in the perfect lighting of the cave.
I\'m extremely sorry for my absence. I\'ve been very busy and was recently attacked by 3 dogs and am currently recovering.

Spirit circled Kendall and s soon as she got back infront of him she let her tail brush his chin and walked deeper into the diamond filled cave.

Spirit backed up so much that she hit a wall inside the cave and thought,My old nest the one I was left behind in,left to die in,left to be an orphan in. Spirit's eyes went wide as she remembered the blood from her parents in the cave,the shattered shell of her only sibling on the ground,which was covered in her parents blood. "My parents,my sibling",she finally managed to whisper.

Kendall guessed by what he could see and what Spirit said that whatever had happened here involved the death of her familly. I don't think I want to know, he thought, and I doubt that she wants to talk about it. "I'm sorry," he said, feeling stupid that 'I'm sorry' was all that he could come up with.

Spirit looked at him and smiled,but then got caught back up in her memories,walked over to the nest,and curled up in it the memories fading into black she closed her eyes and could tell the smell of death was still back here in the back of this beautiful cave after so many years.
