Saria's sences were pricked... she gazed through the trees and past the stream. Her eyes narrowed suspiciously, she had a terrible feeling she was being stalked...

Xiang licked his chops as he crawled through the shadows, Keeping a quiet glance on Saria. Suddenly he luged out of the shadows, Ripping into Saria and pulling out several of her dorsal spikes. Flames danced at his claws as he prepared a slash. Following suit with the flames, He brought his hand down, Claws raking through Saria's shoulder cuff. He clamped his jaws around one of Saria's horns, His own weight making them fall backwards. I guess as Karma goes, Saria's horn jammed into Xiang's hand in the fall. He hissed and crumpled his now bleeding hand. |

Saria jumped up after the fall and lunged. She gripped Xiang by the throat she dug her claws into the soft tissues on his neck, until her own talons were dripping with his blood. She threw the fire dragon to the ground and snarled coldly. Her eyes glowing with fury. She cringed at the loss of her spikes but was in no mood to be threatened by a fire dragon...on her territory. She rammed into his side, and heard a few ribs crunch in the impact... but his scales met her own, and she managed to cut herself in the impact...she jumped back in anger...her own blood now dripping down her back.

Xiang cringed in pain, and warily rose to his feet. He growled, but used his powers more than his strength. He used his arm and swooped it up. A rumbling threat began to follow, A beam of fresh magma coming up with it. He used his other hand to bring up another beam, And brought them together. Flying up, He brought the beams toward himself, Indulging himself in the flames. His body grew much larger, Now nothing but pure fury, chaos, and flame. He roared in victory, and thudded forward, picking up Saria up and hurling her at a tree. From the impact of the heavy dragon, the tree cracked and fell backwards.
Xiang cackled wickedly and watched as his opponent bled. Speeding forward, He tripped over the fallen tree, Making himself fall to the ground. |

Saria forced herself up, she snarled angrilly. Blood dripped down her scales as her eyes began to glow a dark black... she hissed and sent her own power... a large force of energy traveld through the fire dragon... she felt it pick at his mind... and tear him apart from the inside... the torture made him collapse to the ground. She chuckled darkly through a bleeding face and made her way over to the fallen dragon, picking him up by the wing, and tearing away the tissue and muscles, so the wing hung limply...clinging to a small piece of flesh... she knew the dragon wouldnt be able to feel the pain until she ceased her own power... she brought up the power level and sat back...and watched... but her gift came at a cost, she felt it slowly creeping into her own system but she ignored it. The gift wouldnt hurt her until several minutes more....but she stopped her gift, she shook her head... trying to get the grey spots to fade from her eyes. Once they did, she smiled darkly at her challenger... her blood and his mixed on her scales.

Xiang moaned in pain and stayed limp for a few minutes. As he regained power, He burst up from the ground and picked up Saria, Throwing her at her cave den so hard the the rock cracked. Going after her, He grabbed her muzzled and bit into it. HARD. After this her grabbed her hand and twisted it twice, Snapping the bone and hurling her into a tree. Xiang smiled in victory and lashed his tail at a piece of the other dragons den. He threw it up into the air and batted it at Saria with his powerful tail.
Laughing wickedly, His flaming body sizzled hotter. |

Saria chuckled darkly and cracked her bone so it was somewhat into place. Although she was small, she was not giving up. She flapped her wings and took off, grabbing Xiang with her back talons...she flew higher into the air, until the shadow smog, seemed unbreathable. She ignored his flaming body, knowing she could get burned. Luckily her scales were dence. She dug her talons into his flesh as she flew... She wasnt finished, no one came into her home and took what was HERS. Her muzzle stung but wasnt broken... she then took her spiked tail and wrapped it around the fire dragon...and squeezed, until the remaining spikes dug into his flesh and stripped the tissues to the bone. She then threw him in the air and caught his back leg in her jaws, crunching down until the bone fragments could be tasted on her forked tounge... she then grabbed him once more with her back talons, and folded her wings....both of them rocketed to the ground... Saria aimed for the remains of her rocky den. At the last moment she released the talons, and sent Xiang into the stone... she smiled darkly as she heard bones shatter, and the rocks toar away until an indent was left on the hard earth.... she then flew down and collided with Xiang... being careful to shield her own broken bones. The force threw Xiang deeper into the earth. Saria's home was destroyed, but no matter. She could find another, just as easy. She flicked her tail at the broken Fire dragon... before a cold chuckle excaped her throat. She smiled darkly at the unmoving beast... she believed she was victorious once again. A dragon come to challenge HER? ha. Not even male shadow dragons come to defeat her... she yawned as she spread her wings... she would need to allow her injuries to heal... hopefully they would heal on her onw. She must admit, the fire dragon was strong...stronger then most, she took the skies and looked back at her foe.
