Jake sighed and his eyes began to tear. "No, she wouldn't like me...." Jake burst through the door and ran toward the river again. "Thanks Leita, that would help." Rukiea grabbed Jay's arm and put it around her shoulders. "Alright, lets go." |

Leita reached Sam as Jake ran off. "Sam, what's going on? Why did Jake run off again?" "I think it would be best if you go after and find out for yourself." Sam replied. Leita hesitated but soon followed Jake. Jay watched the two run off. "I'm not going after him this time." He said to Rukiea. |

Rukiea laughed. "i don't expect you to go after him... I'm guna let him come back when he's ready." Rukiea looked at Sam when they reached the fort. "Sam, what happen?" Jake finally stopped running. He was out of breath and he could hardly stand. He sank to him knees and began to sob. Jake burried his face in his hands. "Why am i so stupid, I screw everything up..." |

Rukiea glared at Sam. "What did you say?" Rukiea set Jay in his chair. She said down in the chair next to his. "Aside from Jake and Leita, we still need a plan for this King.... He needs to Die." Rukiea looked at the door, but remained because she didnt want to leave Jay like he was. Jake looked up and saw Leita. He buried his face in his hands when he thought about what Sam had said. "What if you had killed him? Do you think she would like you then?" was all Jake heard ringing through his head. He continued crying. His hands filling with tear water. Once again he looked at Leita. His eyes still tearing. "I-I purposely st-stabbed J-J-Jay with Rukiea's sword. I p-p-purposly tugged her sh-shirt so she would stab his leg. I was J-J-Jelous of J-Jay and R-Rukiea." Jake stuttered. |

"I didn't say anything!" He paused. "Well, I didn't say anything that made him run off." Jay agreed. "WE will have to wait though. We need Leita and Jake here to plan." Leita was shocked. "I-but." Rukiea's eyes flared. "What did you say to him! He's very fagile...." Rukiea calmed down with her last sentence. She stood up and paced the room length. "B-Because *Hic* i always hated how J-Jay could *Hic* always get R-Rukiea's a-attention...." Jake broke off and began to cry again. He buried his face and his arms. |

Rukiea sat back down and looked at Jay. "Will they be okay? I mean, Jake doesnt fight when he's all emotional..." Jake raised his head and wiped his eyes. "What i'm really trying to say *Hic* is that he could do it in one day, *Hic* it took me 10 years..... and i can't seem to catch the attention of the one I love without cryign or *hic* gettiong emotional..." Jake turned his back to Leita so she wouldn't see the tears roll down his cheeks. |

"They should be. They chances of Jake getting caught again are slim." Jay answered. Leita put her hand on Jake's shoulder. "Jake, look at me. Both you and the person you love will have to accept the fact that you can be emotional sometimes. And if the person you love can't accept it, maybe you should find someone else." |

"Good, i can rest now..." Rukiea set her head on the table and fell asleep. Jake turned back. "Heh, you don't get it do you...." Jake slightly smiled. He sat up on his knees and pulled Leita toward him. He hugged her like before, but tighter. |

Rukiea said Jay's name in her sleep and squeezed her hand into a fist. "Don't....... hurt....... Jay......." she said. Jake leg Leita out of his grasp. "Leita, look, i like you a lot... Like Jay and Rukiea..... but, i can't catch your attention without making a fool of myself....." Jake said softly.. |
