Rukiea grabbed Rosalies arm and dragged her outside with her. "Come on, follow me please." Rukiea had Rosalie's arm still in her grasp.

Rukiea giggled also. "Sorry bout that." She released Rosalie's arm when she had reached the RIver that Jake was sittiing by. She sat down and patted th egrass next to her. "Sit down Rosalie"

Rosalie nodded and sat next to Rukiea. She smiled and caressed the water. "Isn't it beautiful?"

Rukiea looked at the Sky. "Tis better to have loved than not to have loved at all...." She repeated the same exprssion she had told Jake long ago. Tears streamed down her face. "Rosalie, if I let you have Jay, do you think, you, Jay, and I would all be happy....?"

Rosalie smiled and replied, "I know him. He likes you as much as you like him. If you let me have him, neither of you will ever be happy. I know that for a fact."

Rukiea smiled and looked at the water rushing by. "That's not true. If you and Jay are happy, I am happy as well..." She continued to look into the water and tears escaped her eyes. They fell into the water, disturbing the bit they fell into.

Rukiea looked at Maybell and patted her head. "Well, that may be true, but I am just worried about my brother. I never told anybody what I found out once we left the house we lived in." Rukiea looked at the sky and then at the ground.

Rukiea looked at the sky and tears streamed down her face. She looked at Rosalie with sorrow filled eyes. "Jake, could kill over any minute if I don't take him far away from this place. I need to take him across the border. Then, I can come back." She looked back toward the base. "I want to help you kill this king, but I need to save my brother." Jake looked at the sky and staggered to his feet. He could feel his body go a little nubm. He coughed and spat out blood. |

Rukiea grabbed Rosalie's arm. "NO, he could die!!!" She said as tears ran down her eyes like a river. "Jake is my only brother, and if i don't leave now, he could die..." Rukiea slammed the floor with her sword sheath.

Rukiea looked at Rosalie. "Then will you help me. I know Jay would if his leg wasn't how it is. but i need someone to help me." She could feel tears trickle down her cheeks. Jake fell to his hands and knees. He coughed more blood. Damn, why now....... |
